Plot
Is there an edge of belief? is a film about the relation, uncommonness and beauty of innocence-belief. Where are the limits of our understanding of the emotions, how do we relate to the others and how do we handle the differences? Through the eyes of a little girl, its the world that we rediscover, the look at adulthood is biased and share its reality with elements of fairy-telling. As the images unravel, the density of the emotion grows, the gravity changes, and we are trapped into a world that the child in us understand, still. There is a woman breathing-singing-crying-fighting, multiple me/us trying to trace our own obsessions, flip books, visual poetry, fictional backgrounds, actors and aerial dancers elapsing their movements, impersonation and caricatures. Everything is allowed to be suggestive and accumulative, more significant than its physical appearance would indicate. So the shards of stories we have put together collide here, reflecting, and evolving like the act of memory itself. All objects and images are more than what first meets the eye, just as the visual imaginary evolves into a whole world of humanity.

A name is a word or term used for identification. Names can identify a class or category of things, or a single thing, either uniquely, or within a given context. A personal name identifies a specific unique and identifiable individual person, and may or may not include a middle name. The name of a specific entity is sometimes called a proper name (although that term has a philosophical meaning also) and is a proper noun. Other nouns are sometimes, more loosely, called names; an older term for them, now obsolete, is "general names".
The use of personal names is not unique to humans. Dolphins also use symbolic names, as has been shown by recent research. Individual dolphins have distinctive whistles, to which they will respond even when there is no other information to clarify which dolphin is being referred to.
Caution must be exercised when translating, for there are ways that one language may prefer one type of name over another. A feudal naming habit is used sometimes in other languages: the French sometimes refer to Aristotle as "le Stagirite" from one spelling of his place of birth, and English speakers often refer to Shakespeare as "The Bard", recognizing him as a paragon writer of the language. Finally, claims to preference or authority can be refuted: the British did not refer to Louis-Napoleon as Napoleon III during his rule.
Daniel Nii Tackie Mensah "Danny" Welbeck (born 26 November 1990) is an English footballer who plays for Manchester United and the England national team. He is a centre forward who can also play on the wing.
Welbeck made his way through the youth teams at Manchester United before making his senior debut in 2008 and scoring in the process. He has since gone on to win the 2008–09 Football League Cup and the 2008 FIFA Club World Cup before being sent on loan to Preston North End and more recently Sunderland.
He made his senior England debut in March 2011 in a 1–1 friendly draw against Ghana.
Born in Longsight, Manchester, England, to Ghanaian parents, Welbeck was first spotted by Manchester United as a six year-old. He joined United during the 2005–06 season,[citation needed] making his debut for the club's Under-18 side on 8 April 2006 in a league match against Sunderland. He then came on as a substitute in the next game, before being named as an unused substitute in the team's last two games of the season. The following season, he made a further 28 appearances for the Under-18s, scoring nine goals, including eight appearances and one goal in the FA Youth Cup, in which he helped the team to reach the final, despite being two years younger than some of the other players. He was not handicapped despite suffering from Osgood–Schlatter disease, and was making rapid progress, despite his pneumonia.
Craig Ferguson (born 17 May 1962) is a Scottish-American television host, stand-up comedian, writer, actor, director, author, and producer. He is the host of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, an Emmy Award-nominated, Peabody Award-winning late-night talk show that airs on CBS. In addition to hosting that program and performing stand-up comedy, Ferguson has written two books: Between the Bridge and the River, a novel, and American on Purpose, a memoir. He became a citizen of the United States in 2008.
Before his career as a late-night television host, Ferguson was best known in the United States for his role as the office boss, Nigel Wick, on The Drew Carey Show from 1996 to 2003. He also wrote and starred in three films, directing one of them.
Ferguson was born in the Stobhill Hospital in the Springburn district of Glasgow, Scotland to Robert and Janet Ferguson, and raised in nearby Cumbernauld, growing up "chubby and bullied". When he was six months old, he and his family moved from their Springburn apartment to a council house in Cumbernauld. They lived there as Glasgow was re-housing many people following damage to the city from World War II. Ferguson attended Muirfield Primary School and Cumbernauld High School. At age sixteen, Ferguson dropped out of Cumbernauld High School and began an apprenticeship to be an electronics technician at a local factory of American company Burroughs Corporation.
Anthony Anderson (born August 15, 1970) is an American actor, comedian, and writer. He has starred in his own sitcom All About the Andersons, as well as the Fox sitcom The Bernie Mac Show during the fifth and final season of the show. He is also known for his leading roles in television dramas such as K-Ville, The Shield and Law & Order. He has also had supporting roles in films such as Transformers, The Departed, Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London and Scream 4.
Anderson was born and raised in Compton, California, a suburb of Los Angeles. His mother, Doris, was a telephone operator and actress, and his stepfather, Sterling Bowman, was a native of Little Rock, Arkansas who moved to Los Angeles to work in the steel mill industry before opening a chain of three clothing stores. Anderson has stated that his first attempt at stand up comedy was a failure. He appeared at The Comedy Act Theater billed as comedian "Tasty Tony, the One and Only, and if there's another, he's a phony."[citation needed] When his stage name was announced, he was booed off the stage before ever saying a word. Although this experience was a blow to his ego, he did meet his future friend and fellow comedic actor Guy Torry there, who consoled him after the show and encouraged him to keep getting up on stage. He and Guy would later act together in the Eddie Murphy film titled Life. Anderson is an alumnus of the Hollywood High School Performing Arts Magnet's Class of 1988 and Howard University. He trained with actors such as Avery Brooks, Ruby Dee and Ossie Davis.
Thomas Montgomery Newman (born October 20, 1955) is an American composer and conductor, best known for his many film scores.
Newman has received a total of ten Academy Award nominations, although as of 2011, he has yet to win the award. He has however won a BAFTA, two Grammys and an Emmy, and has been nominated for a Golden Globe. Newman was honored with the Richard Kirk award at the 2000 BMI Film and TV Awards. The award is given annually to a composer who has made significant contributions to film and television music.
Born in Los Angeles, California, he was the youngest son of Mississippi-born Martha Louise (née Montgomery) and composer Alfred Newman. He is a member of a film-scoring dynasty in Hollywood that includes his father, brother David Newman, sister Maria Newman, uncles Lionel Newman and Emil Newman, cousin Randy Newman (who is also known as a singer and songwriter) and his nephew Joey Newman. Newman was educated at Yale University before starting his career in music.
His first major score was for the 1984 film Reckless. In 1999, Newman composed the score to Sam Mendes' first feature film American Beauty, created using mainly percussion instruments. Newman believed the score helped move the film along without disturbing the "moral ambiguity" of the script, saying "It was a real delicate balancing act in terms of what music worked to preserve that." This was his first collaboration with Mendes, and he would go on to score all of the director's subsequent films except for Away We Go. He received a fourth Oscar nomination for this score, and although he lost again (to John Corigliano for The Red Violin), he did receive a Grammy and a BAFTA.
You don't know my name
man you don't know my name
Paint a number on my head
work me 'til i'm dead
I can't believe i've wasted
all these years i've tasted
A million days and nights all this pain and struggle
All for what i ask all the hate and trouble
You don't know my name
man you don't know my name
Punch drunk from the punch clock
opportunity never gonna knock
No more blue collar
all the unions gettin' smaller
A million nights and all the pain and struggle
All for what i ask all the hate and trouble
You don't know my name
And even though the moment passed me by
I still can't turn away
Cuz all the dreams you never thought you'd lose
Got tossed along the way
And letters that you never meant to send
Got lost or thrown away
And now we're grown up orphans
And never knew their names
We don't belong to no one
That's a shame
But you could hide beside me
Maybe for a while
And I won't tell no one your name
And I won't tell 'em your name
And scars are souvenirs you never lose
The past is never far
Did you lose yourself somewhere out there?
Did you get to be a star?
And don't it make you sad to know that life
Is more than who we are
We grew up way too fast
And now there's nothing to believe
And reruns all become our history
A tired song keeps playing on a tired radio
And I won't tell no one your name
And I won't tell 'em your name
I won't tell em' your name
Oooh, oooh, oooh
I won't tell em' your name
I think about you all the time
But I don't need the same
It's lonely where you are
Come back down
oh my darlin’, you’ve must be a moving target just like
they’ll call you right, they’ll call you left
they’ll call you names of all your friends
you never know
what you’ll have to do
baby don’t let ‘em
don’t let ‘em put a name on you
there’s no categories just long stories waiting to be
heard
(if there’s love in your heart)
don’t be satisfied when someone sums you up with just
one word
(if there’s love in your heart)
blindfold your heart
and feel for a clue
baby don’t let ‘em
don’t let ‘em put a name on you
[Bridge]
you say you wanna know the people I know
you say you wanna come in and crack my code, uh huh
catch me if you think you can
but count on me for nothing man, uh huh
it’s gonna take more than hearing you say the only
words you think I know
the truth may be with you today but may be gone
tomorrow
baby don’t let ‘em
I try too hard
Persuasion never wins
So let me start again
And here it is as plain as day
These words not mine but His
And this is what they say
My hands they made you
My breath I gave you
My son, He saves you
If you want to you can wear My name
My love unending
My truth unbending
I want you to wear My name
I'm just like you
Our sin, a cross, His son
As your friends we come
So here we are another verse
A different view, God as a Father
Us, His pursuit
My hands they made you
My breath I gave you
My son, He saves you
If you want to you can wear My name
My love unending
My truth unbending
I want you to wear My name
Unending, unbending
I want you
My hands they made you
My breath I gave you
My son, He saves you
If you want to you can wear My name
My love unending
My truth unbending
I want you to wear My name
My hands they made you
My breath I gave you
My son, He saves you
If you want to you can wear My name
My love unending
My truth unbending
I want you to wear My name
One thing's for certain
I want you to wear My name
Seven days old in the icu tonight
Little baby boy, they don't want to have to say goodbye
Your mother's on the phone
Your father's in the hall
Prayin' "God,save this life"
He sees you
He's near you
He knows your face
He knows your pain
He sees you and He loves you
He knows your name
He knows your name
Four doors down there's a man who just won't wake up
He crashed so hard
And the doctor's want to pull the plug
Your wife is by your side sayin' "Not tonight"
Prayin' God will just show up.
He sees you
He's near you
He knows your face
He knows your pain
He sees you and He loves you
He knows your name
He knows your name
Maybe you're alone
In a corner of an empty house
Or maybe you're the one
No one notices in the crowd
He sees you
He's near you
He knows your face
He knows your pain
He sees you and He loves you
He knows your name
He knows your name
He knows your name
Years ago I found a letter, it wasn't mean for me
But i've read the anger, your fear, the horror and agony
Words I remember, now they're a part of me
cirle in my head and i can feel the pain
It's my name
The new life that you expected,
you never heard them cry
Our arms are empty,
try to live with the lie
Never taken seriously,
You've lost it all, your family
I can't look straight into your eyes
afraid of what I see
No, you can't remember me
And I asked myself, what hurts the most
It's all in our name
It's all in our name
Starring at you and try to look
into your empty eyes
You whispher words of madness
What 's the world inside
The life you lived so long
you're alive inside you are dead
Isn't there a way, what's the game to play
How long can you hold
It's been so long to be afraid
What are the swords they whispher
Try to find a way, to let it all end
It's all in our name
It's all in our name
Want to hold you in my arms
You're so close, so far away
Goodbye, I told you so
promising to be back soon
A tear in my eye
I know that i lied, I wished could do more
I'm no sorry, I'm no sorry
Goodbye
When you find out
All of your dreams
I hope somehow
Take what you need
When your hope is gone
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
We've got to move on
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
When you lose your way on your way back home
I call your name now
I call your name
You think too much
Yeah yeah yeah
Forget what you have to do
Each day we'll try
Yeah yeah yeah
To face this truth
Stay with the one you love
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
To realize who we are
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
When you lose your way on your way back home
I call your name on the road
When you call my name I'll be your home
I call your name now
I've not been able, to heal myself yet
Of street-prophets sentences
My lips are throwing but curses
My laughter is the cry of despair
For a moment too much
For longer to little
It is also dangerous
To forget one's name
In what purpose, the end is left
The way in its way is confused
For everybody good
Glory to fucking benefactors!
I'm taking in my hands
The act of depression
Which one can get from notary public
to forget one's name?
violated thought about the test of the new
I'm asking a lame beggar for advice
To forget one's name?
But I hump you
But I, but I hump...
Take you dirty clothes off, and toss 'em in the hamper
Do it kinda slow, so I can drool and have a gander
Peek a boo, boo a peek
Ridah' stank, you so damn sweet
Creep on you, you will freak
I'm gonna make my fingers bleed
Met my baby on a rooftop, took her to the candy shop,
took off all her hand me downs
Hoochie really aught to blow me, but not in a wrong
way, cuz she really know me
When we do our dirty deeds, we do it with some fun,
and...
All I wanna do is see you cum, hear you cummin'
Take it slow, take it fast, we just gonna have a blast
Do the math, we a match, that is why it's gonna last
Met my baby on a rooftop, took her to the candy shop,
took off all her hand me downs
Hoochie really aught to blow me, but not in a wrong
way, cuz she really know me
The opportune moment has finally made its way
I will taste the sugar walls till your rainbow hits the
Hits the sky!
Met my baby on a rooftop, took her to the candy shop,
took off all her hand me downs
Hoochie really aught to blow me, but not in a wrong
way, cuz she really know me
Met my baby on a rooftop, took her to the candy shop,
took off all her hand me downs
Hoochie really aught to blow me, but not in a wrong
I know your name
I know that cursing it would be a shame
You're in a frame
A timeless one
I don't know where to put it
Although you rule my world
I know you're not the one and only girl
I know my name
I know that wasting it would be inane to do
Life just ain't the same
Without your madness
Everything looks pretty true
And though the truth may suit me well, my dear
I want some beauty too
I thought I knew
I thought I knew
I knew my name
I thought that life was chronological
And then you came
You put me in the greatest concert hall of love
And I faked the fame
I did as if I could sing arias
I thought I knew
I thought I knew
I thought I knew
I thought I knew
I thought I knew
I know your name
It's something I will always recognize
I'll remember the games
The wicked ones
