In the Central African Republic, more than 1,000 minority Muslims manage to flee the violence-hit country to neighboring Chad amid fears of genocide at the hands of Christian militias. Police say the Muslims were escorted out of the country by African peacekeepers from the northwestern town of Bossangoa. Officials say not a single Muslim remains in the town anymore. Thousands of Muslims are still trapped in other cities as the militias also known as anti-balakas attack even the Muslims who try to leave the country. The UN Secretary General has warned that the crisis could turn into another genocide like that of Rwanda. The presence of troops from France and the African Union has failed to end the violence. The conflict has killed thousands of Muslims and displaced nearly a quarter of its population.

Poker games vary in the number of cards dealt, the number of shared or "community" cards and the number of cards that remain hidden. The betting procedures vary among different poker games in such ways as betting limits and splitting the pot between a high hand and a low hand. In most modern poker games, the first round of betting begins with one of the players making some form of a forced bet (the blind and/or ante). In standard poker, each player is betting that the hand he or she has will be the highest ranked. The action then proceeds clockwise around the table and each player in turn must either match the maximum previous bet or fold, losing the amount bet so far and all further interest in the hand. A player who matches a bet may also "raise," or increase the bet. The betting round ends when all players have either matched the last bet or folded. If all but one player fold on any round, then the remaining player collects the pot and may choose to show or conceal their hand. If more than one player remains in contention after the final betting round, the hands are revealed and the player with the winning hand takes the pot. With the exception of initial forced bets, money is only placed into the pot voluntarily by a player who, at least in theory, rationally believes the bet has positive expected value. Thus, while the outcome of any particular hand significantly involves chance, the long-run expectations of the players are determined by their actions chosen on the basis of probability, psychology and game theory. Poker has gained in popularity since the beginning of the twentieth century, and has gone from being primarily a recreational activity confined to small groups of enthusiasts, to a widely popular spectator activity with international audiences and multi-million dollar tournament prizes.

It's one of the tracks that were specially recorded for its release. Chad Mitchell left the group back in 1965, but he might have reunited for this recording. "Forest Lawn" is a satire written by Tom Paxton in the late 1960's. It was first released by Tom in 1970 on album "6". John Denver's cover version came out the same year on album "Take Me to Tomorrow". Few songwriters could match Tom Paxton for dressing biting social comment in a humorous song. John Denver had wanted to sing this song on the Tonight Show but the broadcasters would not let him. Finally, though, when he was guest host one night Denver said he would sing what he liked - and, as Paxton later noted, "let it rip" with "Forest Lawn".

A student was killed by a white tiger after apparently jumping into its enclosure at Delhi Zoo. National Zoological Park spokesman Riyaz Ahmed Khan said the man climbed over a knee-high fence, through some small hedges, then jumped down 18 feet into a protective moat.
