An ethnonym (from the Greek: ἔθνος, éthnos, "nation" and ὄνομα, ónoma, "name") is the name applied to a given ethnic group. Ethnonyms can be divided into two categories: exonyms (where the name of the ethnic group has been created by another group of people) and autonyms or endonyms (self-designation; where the name is created and used by the ethnic group itself).
As an example, the ethnonym for the ethnically dominant group in Germany is the Germans. This ethnonym is an exonym used by the English-speaking world, although the term itself is derived from Latin. Conversely, Germans themselves use the autonym of die Deutschen. Germans are indicated by exonyms in many European languages, such as Italian (tedeschi), French (Allemands), Spanish (Alemanes) and Polish (Niemcy).
Numerous ethnonyms can apply to the same ethnic or racial group, with various levels of recognition, acceptance and use. The State Library of South Australia contemplated this issue when considering Library of Congress Headings for literature pertaining to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Some 20 different ethnonyms were considered as potential Library of Congress headings, but it was recommended that only a fraction of them be employed for the purposes of cataloguing.
The Kyrgyz (also spelled Kirgiz, Kirghiz) are a Turkic people living primarily in Kyrgyzstan.
There are several etymological theories on the ethnonym "Kyrgyz."
The word "Kyrgyz" is derived from the Turkic word "forty", with -Iz being an old plural suffix, referring to a collection of forty tribes.
The Gagauz people are a Turkic group living mostly in southern Moldova (Gagauzia), southwestern Ukraine (Budjak), south-eastern Romania (Dobrogea), northeastern Bulgaria, Greece, Brazil, America and Canada. Unlike most other Turkic speaking people, the Gagauz are predominantly Orthodox Christians. There is a related ethnic group also called Gagavuz (or Gajal) living in the European part of northwestern Turkey.
Today Gagauz people outside Moldova live mainly in the Ukrainian regions of Odesa and Zaporizhia, as well as in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Bulgaria, Romania, Brazil, Turkmenistan, Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Georgia, Turkey and the Russian region of Kabardino-Balkaria.
There are also nearly 20,000 descendants of Gagauzes living in the Balkan country of Bulgaria, as well as upwards of 2,000 living in the United States of America, Brazil and Canada. Most of Gagauz immigrants in the USA are Evangelical Christians, who left their homeland in Moldova as refugees. They were persecuted by the communist government of the Soviet Union. Gagauz immigrants live in Sacramento, California; Salem, Oregon; Seattle, Washington; Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Tacoma, Washington; Charlotte, North Carolina; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and in Massachusetts. The official figures in the latter group of countries cited in this article are much lower due to the loss of Gagauz identity during the last century.
It's my turn, it's not your turn
It's my turn, get outta my way
It's my turn, go on complain
I'm comin' through anyway
Don't ask me why I'm like this
But lately I'm wonderin' if
It'll come to pass
That the last shall be first and the first shall be last
Then the voice says
Chrous:
Here's the way it oughtta be
You then me then you then me
Well. I pray one day we'll all agree
And take it you then me then you then me
Life could go you then me then you then me
It's easy, you wait then go
It's easy, so make your move
It's easy, don't clown around
Could've gane six times by now
But no sir, you gotta be a pain
Or is this your own way of sayin'
We should all cool down
And be more like the man who was born back in Bethlehem Town?
I betcha He'd say...
Chorus
If we could only put you first
Maybe this ugly trend could one day be reversed
It's your turn, it's not my turn
It's you turn- well let's just say
We'll trade off- first you then me
Then after that, we might agree
Let's try it, it could be good
and what if one day it should
Really come to pass
That the last shall go first and the first shall go last
Betcha we'd say:
Something about you that makes me feel bad
I wasn’t there when a thin line destroyed your soul
I search every corner
There’s nowhere to hide
How I feel ignorance
Sacrifice some days it’s harder
Let’s face it, it’s all about me
(Deeply into your own)
Deep within me
Life’s crawling and wasting my days
Another night gone and I know there will be another way
(Deep within me)
I’m leading myself to be free
In this eternal goodbye
Something about you will make me stronger
Now I’m aware when a man falls rebound, my fault
I search every corner
Just nowhere to hide
How I feel ignorance
Sacrifice some days it’s harder
Let’s face it, it’s all about me
(Deeply into your own)
Deep within me
Life’s crawling and wasting my days
Another night gone and I know there will be another way
(Deep within me)
I’m leading myself to be free
In this eternal goodbye, goodbye
Here I wanna be
Here I wanna be
No more lies!
Here I wanna be
Here I wanna be
Here I wanna be
No more lies!
Here I wanna be...
Deep within me
Life’s crawling and wasting my days
Another night gone and I know there will be another way
(Deep within me)
I’m leading myself to be free
In this eternal goodbye, goodbye
Deep within me
Life’s crawling and wasting my days
Another night gone and I know there will be another way
(Deep within me)
I’m leading myself to be free
When I feel the worlds against me
Left me in the cold
Thinking I've been forgotten
Out there on my own
I close my eyes and in the silence
Hear a voice so clear
Reminding me Your love
Is always right here
Within me then all of my doubts disappear
And there's nothing to fear, Your love's within me
You gave me strength to believe
That all that I am and all that I'll ever need is within me
When my spirit's all but broken
I'm humbled to the bone
Searching for the grace
To find my way home
I take a breath, a slow deep breath
And feel a sense of calm
Then the hurt in my heart is suddenly gone
Within me you wiped away all my tears
There's nothing to fear, Your love's within me
It gives me the strength to believe
It's my turn, it's not your turn
It's my turn, get outta my way
It's my turn, go on complain
I'm comin' through anyway
Don't ask me why I'm like this

I was born to fulfil a terrible destiny
The greatest punishment of all
Punished for what I didn't do and what I couldn't change
Every attempt to avoid just lead me closer to the inevitable
I committed the biggest sin of them all towards myself
How could I avoid it, why did I deserve it?
I hold out my hands that blackened my eyes
And see my destiny as the stream of blood that it is
With blinded eyes I she'd a tear
Thinking about the destiny that I passed along
Take away all my senses so I can't feel the pain
Let me never know your thoughts
At the peak of my life I realise that everything is false
And all that I have done has only been harmful towards myself
I have inherited the sins of my forefathers
My life is dead and I'm in pain
The greatness of my life has withered
Leaving me with no desires of life or death
If only time would stop and leave me with nothing
