Plot
Johannesburg. A young teacher greets her class. The learners stare. Her face is mottled with bruises. Meanwhile, Themba endures another day as a security guard, stationed on a block in the posh Northern Suburbs, a coil of wasted energy. Just like the gargoyles that face him across the street, he is merely a symbolic deterrent. By day, he plays the role of protector; by night, he is the threat. Themba relies on crime to supplement his meager income. He steals to give his younger brother the life he himself could never have. His transgressions enable him to provide the opportunities the child needs to be successful in the new South Africa. But crime affects everyone, and his "sacrifice" leads to a devastating discovery.
In the city of gold, robin hood is no fairy tale.
Dignity is a term used in moral, ethical, and political discussions to signify that a being has an innate right to respect and ethical treatment. It is an extension of the Enlightenment-era concepts of inherent, inalienable rights. Dignity is generally proscriptive and cautionary: for example in politics it is usually used to critique the treatment of oppressed and vulnerable groups and peoples, but it has also been extended to apply to cultures and sub-cultures, religious beliefs and ideals, animals used for food or research, and plants.
The English word "dignity" comes from Latin dignitas by way of French dignité. In ordinary usage it denotes respect and status, and it is often used to suggest that someone is not receiving a proper degree of respect, or even that they are failing to treat themselves with proper self-respect. There is also a long history of special philosophical use of this term. However, it is rarely defined outright in political, legal, and scientific discussions. International proclamations have thus far left dignity undefined, and scientific commentators, such as those arguing against genetic research and algeny, cite dignity as a reason but are ambiguous about its application.
Bob Dylan ( /ˈdɪlən/), born Robert Allen Zimmerman on May 24, 1941, is an American singer-songwriter, musician and artist. He has been an influential figure in popular music and culture for five decades. Much of his most celebrated work dates from the 1960s when he was an informal chronicler and a seemingly reluctant figurehead of social unrest. A number of Dylan's early songs, such as "Blowin' in the Wind" and "The Times They Are a-Changin'", became anthems for the US civil rights and anti-war movements. Leaving his initial base in the culture of folk music behind, Dylan's six-minute single "Like a Rolling Stone" has been described as radically altering the parameters of popular music in 1965. However, his recordings employing electric instruments attracted denunciation and criticism from others in the folk movement.
Dylan's lyrics incorporated a variety of political, social, philosophical, and literary influences. They defied existing pop music conventions and appealed hugely to the then burgeoning counterculture. Initially inspired by the songs of Woody Guthrie,Robert Johnson, and Hank Williams, as well as the music and performance styles of Buddy Holly and Little Richard, Dylan has both amplified and personalized musical genres. His recording career, spanning fifty years, has explored numerous distinct traditions in American song—from folk, blues and country to gospel, rock and roll, and rockabilly to English, Scottish, and Irish folk music, embracing even jazz and swing.
Bullet for My Valentine are a Welsh heavy metal band from Bridgend, formed in 1998. The band is composed of Matthew Tuck (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Michael Paget (lead guitar, backing vocals), Jason James (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Michael Thomas (drums). They were formed under the name Jeff Killed John and started their music career by covering songs by Metallica and Nirvana. Jeff Killed John recorded six songs which were not released; two of these tracks were reworked later in their career as Bullet for My Valentine. Financial difficulties dictated the name change, which was followed by a change in music direction. In 2002, the band secured a five-album deal with Sony BMG. The band has stated that their music is influenced by classic heavy metal acts such as Metallica, Iron Maiden, and Slayer. The band is part of the Cardiff music scene.
Bullet for My Valentine's debut album, The Poison, was released on 3 October 2005 in the United Kingdom and on 14 February 2006 in the United States to coincide with Valentine's Day hence their band name. The album entered the Billboard 200 in the US at number 128. It was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. The band made appearances at the Download Festival and Kerrang! XXV, and undertook a US tour with Rob Zombie. Bullet for My Valentine's second studio album, Scream Aim Fire, was released on 29 January 2008 and debuted at number four on the Billboard 200. The band's third album, Fever, was released on 26 April 2010 and debuted at number three on the Billboard 200. The band has sold over one million albums in the United States and nearly 2,500,000 albums worldwide and are the most-successful act in the Kerrang! Awards category of "Best British Band" with three wins.

Fat man lookin' in a blade of steel
Thin man lookin' at his last meal
Hollow man lookin' in a cottonfield
For dignity
Wise man lookin' in a blade of grass
Young man lookin' in the shadows that pass
Poor man lookin' through painted glass
For dignity
Somebody got murdered on New Year's Eve
Somebody said dignity was the first to leave
I went into the city, went into the town
Went into the land of the midnight sun
Searchin' high, searchin' low
Searchin' everywhere I know
Askin' the cops wherever I go
Have you seen dignity?
Blind man breakin' out of a trance
Puts both his hands in the pockets of chance
Hopin' to find one circumstance
Of dignity
I went to the wedding of Mary-lou
She said ?I don't want nobody see me talkin' to you?
Said she could get killed if she told me what she knew
About dignity
I went down where the vultures feed
I would've got deeper, but there wasn't any need
Heard the tongues of angels and the tongues of men
Wasn't any difference to me
Chilly wind sharp as a razor blade
House on fire, debts unpaid
Gonna stand at the window, gonna ask the maid
Have you seen dignity?
Drinkin' man listens to the voice he hears
In a crowded room full of covered up mirrors
Lookin' into the lost forgotten years
For dignity
Met Prince Phillip at the home of the blues
Said he'd give me information if his name wasn't used
He wanted money up front, said he was abused
By dignity
Footprints runnin' cross the silver sand
Steps goin' down into tattoo land
I met the sons of darkness and the sons of light
In the bordertowns of despair
Got no place to fade, got no coat
I'm on the rollin' river in a jerkin' boat
Tryin' to read a note somebody wrote
About dignity
Sick man lookin' for the doctor's cure
Lookin' at his hands for the lines that were
And into every masterpiece of literature
for dignity
Englishman stranded in the blackheart wind
Combin' his hair back, his future looks thin
Bites the bullet and he looks within
For dignity
Someone showed me a picture and I just laughed
Dignity never been photographed
I went into the red, went into the black
Into the valley of dry bone dreams
So many roads, so much at stake
So many dead ends, I'm at the edge of the lake
Sometimes I wonder what it's gonna take
Fat man lookin' in a blade of steel, thin man lookin' at his last meal
Hollow man lookin' in a cottonfield for dignity

there's a man i meet walks up our street
he's a worker for the council
has been twenty years
and he takes no lip off nobody
and litter off the gutter
puts it in a bag
and never seems to mutter
and he packs his lunch in a "sunblest" bag
the children call him "bogie"
he never lets on
but i know 'cause he once told me
he let me know a secret about the money in his kitty
he's gonna buy a dinghy
gonna call her dignity
and i'll sail her up the west coast
through villages and towns
i'll be on my holidays
they'll be doing their rounds
they'll ask me how i got her i'll say "i saved my money"
they'll say isn't she pretty that ship called dignity
and i'm telling this story
in a faraway scene
sipping down raki
and reading maynard keynes
and i'm thinking about home and all that means
and a place in the winter for dignity
and i'll sail her up the west coast
through villages and towns
i'll be on my holidays
they'll be doing their rounds
they'll ask me how i got her i'll say "i saved my money"
they'll say isn't she pretty that ship called dignity
set it up, set it up, set it up, set it up, set it up, set it up
yeh set it up again, set it up again, set it up again, set it up again
set it up, set it up, set it up, set it up, set it up, set it up
yeh set it up again, set it up again, set it up again, set it up again
and i'm thinking about home
and i'm thinking about faith
and i'm thinking about work
and i'm thinking about how good it would be
to be here some day
on a ship called dignity
a ship called dignity
words: Marco Roelofs
They cheat, they lie, they pay, they buy
Don't ask, don't think, don't act, don't blink
Play dumb, good dog, shut up, King frog
Cheap sex, cheap whore, cheap life, cheap core
WHERE IS YOUR DIGNITY
You vote, your choice, they fear, your voice
It's fake, it's show, it's dirty, it's low
They laugh, they fuck
You're scum, you suck
They win, you lose, let's quit you choose!
WHERE IS YOUR DIGNITY
Try to refuse what you can't resist
Every person has his/her price. Money can buy people. This song is about people doing everything for money. I think there's nothing wrong with getting money for things you do. But if you money makes you do things you don't like, than you do wrong in my opinion.

You got the hottest shoes (you got it)
You got those Jimmy Choo's (you got it)
You never get the blues, it's always all about you (we got it, we got it)
wake up late
no time to waste
better check that phone
there's a club too close
Where's your, where's your, where's your dignity?
I think you lost it in the Hollywood Hills
Where's your, where's your, where's your dignity?
can't buy respect, but you can pick up the bill
pick it up, pick it up, so you got it, so you got it,
pick it up, pick it up 'cause money makes your world go round,
(money makes your world go round)
Always with Mr. Right (right now)
But then you have a fight (he's out)
Run into your friend's ex
He's happy to be your next (she won't mind, she won't mind)
Tomorrow's papers
comin' out
so kiss him fast,
watch the cameras flash
You'd show up to the opening of an envelope
Why!
does everybody care about where you go?
It's not news when you got a new bag
It's not news when somebody slaps you
It's not news when you're lookin' your best
c'mon, c'mon, c'mon, give it a rest
pick it up, pick it up, so you got it, so you got it,
pick it up, pick it up 'cause money makes your world go round
Where's your, Where's your, Where's your
Money makes your world go round
Where's your, Where's your, Where's your
Cause money makes your world go round
Where's your, Where's your, Where's your
Money makes your world go round
Where's your, Where's your, Where's your

So society just can't let us be
Please don't be ashamed, we are not to blame
The future's ours to take, we will make mistakes
Scream this loud and proud, we will not back down
So let's go, we'll release the pressure
And a kick can only make it better
We can't, we won't surrender
We can't, we won't surrender
We're not scared 'cause our life in danger
Reality will only make it stronger
We can't, we won't surrender
We can't, we won't surrender
So tell me where are we laying your cemetery
Don't try to silence and bury me
Don't push me 'cause I won't go quietly
I let it die with dignity
Let them put us down, hope we're not around
They pray, we go away but we're here to stay
Time is on our side, our two worlds collide
These four words might help, just go fuck yourself
So let's go, we'll release the pressure
And a kick can only make it better
We can't, we won't surrender
We can't, we won't surrender
We're not scared 'cause our life in danger
Reality will only make it stronger
We can't, we won't surrender
We can't, we won't surrender
So tell me where are we laying your cemetery
Don't try to silence and bury me
Don't push me 'cause I won't go quietly
I let it die with dignity, dignity
Don't tell me where are we laying your cemetery
Don't try to silence and bury me
Don't push me 'cause I won't go quietly
I let it die with dignity
Tell me where are we laying your cemetery
Don't try to silence and bury me
Don't push me 'cause I won't go quietly

They planned every detail, nothing could go wrong, Control the youth to keep the country strong
An assigned occupation and a place to stay, One brushstroke paints the whole world grey
With no individual, no room for dissent, The police came and off to jail he went
No grudges though he had no hate, For the ones who made a god their state
[Chorus]
{you can take what you want from me But you'll never rob me of my dignity, Dignity}
Dignity is a matter of self-respect, gotta be what you are not what others expect
His spirit was strong, he had no shame, for the political slime that was to blame
They beat him no matter what he said, Couldn't destroy what was in his head
He was the object of hate and anger, What didn't destroy him made him stronger
[Chorus]
Summertime for the kids on the street, they're laughing, learning and running from the police
They won't accept mediocrity, They won't let others control their destiny

Try to refuse what you can't resist
I've had enough of your voice
Can't listen to your lies
I'm feeling quite indifferent
To your incessant whine
Just keep hold of your dignity
That's not something to lose on me
You'd best keep hold of your dignity
'Cause that's not something to lose on me
Think I'm oh so perfect
That I'm your special guy
But everything between us
Is just a pretty lie
Just keep hold of your dignity
'Cause that's not something to lose on me
You'd best keep hold of your dignity
'Cause that's not something to lose on me
'Cause that's not something to lose
I've had enough of your voice

Just keep hold of your dignity
You'd best keep hold of your dignity
(Dil jhoom jaye aise)
'Cause that's not something to lose on me
You walk the streets,
Never feel no guilt,
You make your money selling guns on the playground.
I'm so ashamed,
Cause we're all the same,
Killing in the name money is the game now.
And you're buying bombs,
And we pay the price,
Eat your lies and we feed it to the children.
Is this what you want?
Is this what you need?
You're gonna kill us all to bring peace.
My blood,
My soul,
Is my enemy.
My love,
My life,
Is poison to me.
I know it's not how it's supposed to be,
Got no choice,
No voice,
I have no dignity.
You manipulate,
With your bag of tricks,
You're playing God with the world on my shoulder.
Can't regulate,
Cause the worlds at stake,
We're so lost that we all feel it's over.
But I'm the one to blame,
For this burning pain,
It's eating up the world,
And we gonna live it in shame,
It's hard to maintain,
when it's so insane,
It's so, so insane.
So kids don't listen to your parents,
The parents can't teach us,
All they ever left was a world in a mess.
My blood,
My soul,
Is my enemy.
My love,
My life,
Is poison to me.
I know it's not how it's supposed to be,
Got no choice,
No voice,
I have no dignity.
We got no control,
Of the state of our minds.
Now I see that,
All I ever lived was a lie.
We're all duped to believe,
That there's no way around,
There's no way around,
There's no way around!
My blood,
My soul,
Is my enemy.
My love,
My life,
Is poison to me.
I know it's not how it's supposed to be,
Got no choice,
No voice,
I have no dignity.
She's trying to tell this kid about herself
She ain't dissin him
So I'm gonna have to say something
Yo, he looks so good to me now you don't
Just trying to make a fool of me, he's turning around, so long
And I know a guy who knows it
I know it
He's trying to fuck with my dignity
Well, I love you
I can't trust you
You're always fucking with my dignity
Always fucking with my dignity
I make you dance like I never left in this song
I just hope that you dance that way for longer
Cause I don't care who knows it
I know it
You're trying to fuck with my dignity
And I love you
But can't trust you
You're always fucking with my dignity
Always fucking with my dignity
Always fucking with my dignity
Cause I don't care who knows it
I know it
You're trying to fuck with my dignity
And I love you
But can't trust you
You're always fucking with my dignity
You're always fucking with my dignity
Always fucking with my dignity

It was late at night on the open road,
Speeding like a man on the run,
A lifetime spent preparing for the journey;
He is closer now and the search is on,
Reading from a map in the mind,
Yes there's the ragged hill,
And there's the boat on the river.
And when the rain came down,
He heard a wild dog howl,
There were voices in the night - "Don't do it!"
Voices out of sight - "Don't do it!
Too many men have failed before,
Whatever you do,
Don't pay the ferryman,
Don't even fix a price,
Don't pay the ferryman,
Until he gets you to the other side;"
In the rolling mist, then he gets on board,
Now there'll be no turning back,
Beware that hooded old man at the rudder,
And then the lightning flashed, and the thunder roared,
And people calling out his name,
And dancing bones that jabbered and a-moaned
On the water.
And then the ferryman said,
"There is trouble ahead,
So you must pay me now," - "Don't do it!"
"You must pay me now," - "Don't do it!"
And still that voice came from beyond,
"Whatever you do,
Don't pay the ferryman,
Don't even fix a price,
Don't pay the ferryman,
Until he gets you to the other side;
Those endless battles
Foreign souls
Full speed ahead into the wall
No questions asked no answers needed
One put the sword into the stone
Some read a book to find their home
To me both fairytale and fiction
Some believe they live to die
Some have hopes of higher lives
None have proof of anything but still they die
Gazing at the skies
Is there something for us left to find
Are there secrets among our holy places
That can stop us from ending our race
From the edge of the blade
Some saw the light but they survived
And if they died none could describe
Their ultra rapid stream of memories
I ve ceased since long to mind
so many questions undefined
but still they re fighting for their prophecies
Some believe they live to die
Some have hopes of higher lives
None have the proof of anything but still they die
Gazing at the skies
Is there something for us left to find
Are there secrets among our holy places
That can stop us from ending our race
From the edge of the blade
As I am gazing at the stars
And wonder if thers life on mars.
All these ecryptic information.
Some believe they live to die
Some have hopes of higher lives
None have proof of anything but still they die
Gazing at the skies
Is there something for us left to find
Are there secrets among our holy places
That can stop us from ending our race
They say that time heals all wounds
Please describe
How long it takes and
How its done
She looks like an angel from heaven sent
A power you can not describe
You had what you thought
Unconditional
Emotions that ended in hell
Cry in despair
As worlds falling apart
Just show me and
The rest will be a journey
To the STARS
Who decides what is
Destined to be?
I wanna live for eternity
She looks like an angel from heaven sent
A power you can not describe
You had what you thought
Unconditional
Emotions that ended in hell
Cry in despair
As worlds falling apart
Just show me and
The rest will be a journey
To the STARS
Like when the darkness
Takes me far away
And when I wake
I fear to sleep again
So many thoughts and tears
I ve sheed in vain
Untill the end
I m walking on my own
She looks like an angel from heaven sent
A power you can not describe
You had what you thought
Unconditional
Emotions that ended in hell
Cry in despair
As worlds falling apart
Just show me and
The rest will be a journey
Used his skills to build them wings
Out of feathers and of strings
To escape the labyrinth in which they re trapped
Icarus – the son of Deadalus the one
With these wings they would reach to the sun…
High above the clouds they ll - fly
Thats the only way cause the..
Guards are watching land and sea
(The) King of Crete in agony
He was rebellious – he was bold
So he ignored what he was told
Son, you must promise me to never fly too high
Cause the sun is a flaming ball of fire
The wax in the wings might just melt
And you ll fall dead upon the ground
Fly! - Into the sun
He is the one and only
Icarus, (Icarus)
High! - To touch the sun
He is Deadalus son
Icarus, (Icarus)
To kill the monster Minotaur
The hero begged the inventor
Deadalus and as if that was not enough
Did escape with the lovley daughter
Of king Minos his fury was so great
In the end he lost his mind
Fly! - Into the sun
He is the one and only
Icarus, (Icarus)
High! - To touch the sun
He is Deadalus son
A broken window
And a bird that gasps for air
The final breath - black eyes
look back at me screaming in despair
In one second I m awake
And sweat drops falling from my head
Yet another dream
Continuously comes back into me
Message without meaning.
Leave a clue - freeze rewind
Where is the sign
What does this really mean
Or am I dreaming in a dream
Its your mind that guides you
In the world around you
Where veracity replies
To creations in your mind
If youre gone tomorrow
Time erases sorrow
As long as you never give in
Your dreams will never die
I m in a hunt
But I m the hunted on the run
No matter how determined
I try to run, my legs do not reply
I m on an airplane
And I m falling through the clouds
But there have been years since then
And still I have no sight of solid ground
Message without meaning
Leave a clue - freeze rewind
Where is the sign
What does this really mean
Or am I dreaming in a dream
Its your mind that guides you
In the world around you
Where veracity replies
To creations in your mind
If youre gone tomorrow
Time erases sorrow
As long as you never give in
Welcome to a world of hate
Injustice reigns with rage
We try to loose uncertainty
Innocence is gone
We try to move along
A road thats full of anger
Full of hate. Disorder!
Hold me tight, when stars collide
In this place we search our fate.
Cry for love, for help above.
Live your life with dignity
Search your own destiny
A dishonest smile
Another compete stranger
A makeshift love affair
A habit forming secret craving
Temporary pain
At least it eases his hunger
Own the clothes he wears
And a spot on the street
And a life in despair
All have been children
Innocent and full of life
But some get rich while some die young
Listen to the proud
Master of the order
Once a poor child on the streets
Its project destiny
A man thats maimed for life
Imprisoned by his body
Fought for liberty
Until a bomb just turned his standing
Immovable pain
A brain without a body
Rather dead than alive
The reward for his life
Was a stone with his name
All have been children
Innocent and full of life
But some get rich while some die young
Listen to the proud
Master of the order
Once a poor child on the streets
Its project destiny
What if I am the one
Unknown powers to reverse whats upside down
Listen to the proud
Master of the order
Once a poor child on the streets
Am I walking in circles
Wrapped up in myself?
Do I miss a companion
A lover or friend?
I dont know, I dont know anything more.
Feelings are hard to describe
Contradictions collide
I must be my own worst enemy
Suicide is a sin
Here I stand on my own…
Im not alone
My inner demons
Keeps me company
All the time
Every day and - night
Do I falter in darkness on long winding roads
Can I cope with the pressure of such a great load
I dont know, I dont know anything more
Why do I talk to myself?
Why do I call out for help?
I must be my own worst enemy
Suicide is a sin
Here I stand on my own
I m not alone
My inner demons
Keeps me company
All the time
Every day and – night
Feelings are hard to describe
Contradictions collide
I m not alone
My inner demons
Keeps me company
All the time
I wish we found a cure against
All these Infections
In our society a lethal death injection
So many human lifes to save against depression
Caused by the greedy hearts
Arrogance and rapture
When it feels like life is a tourture hall
And there is no way out
You just close your eyes
A new tomorrow
You need to realize
You cant just stand there in the cold
And believe it blows over
It is time for a change let your voice be heard
We just have one chance
On this planet earth
Open your mind
Live your life like this day where your last
Thats how you stay alive
As you are walking down
The memory lane
Your eyes stay dry
And when you think youre all alone in desperat
Just make the call
You cant just stand there in the cold
And believe it blows over
It is time for a change let your voice be heard
We just have one chance
On this planet earth
Open your mind
Live your life like this day where your last
Thats how you stay alive
So surreal
How you conquered your own fears
Ended all without saying goodbye
You are gone
Rest of my days
Now and then a silent tear
will fall from my eyes
It Is heard to say good bye
And believe it blows over
It is time for a change let your voice be heard
We just have one chance
On this planet earth
Open your mind
Live your life like this day where your last
I m getting all upset, afraid at the same time
The only thing that counts
Who has the most things the day he dies
Same hunger in us all
To be somebody else
Consort with enemies
To find a way to make them fail
And here I am
Among my friends
But who can I trust?
I know there is a place
A place where we belong
Not in this squirrel wheel
Where all comes back to square one
There is a timer set
Awaiting to be found
I guess its mother earths
Revenge
What can we do
The inner circles sympathy
While we are falling faster
A complex fight
Where no one think alike
Why cant you see our destiny
As long as I m alive
I m gonna rest my case
But I am pretty sure that
Someone will reveal it all
Not saying I m a judge
And I aint gonna blame
Our society for nuclear winter rains
And here I am
Among my friends
But who can I trust
What can we do
The inner circles sympathy
While we are falling faster
A complex fight
Where no one think alike
Why cant you see our destiny.
Comunications failed
Somewhere along the way.
One word and suddenly
The walls are closing in again
There is a mystery
How anything can work
I m sick and tired of it all
What can we do
The inner circles sympathy
While we are falling faster
A complex fight
Where no one think alike
The rain hammers down on all sides.
Slowly swallowing these promises you broke down on me.
Each set of headlights we dodge could be the answer or the light.
We open our hearts carefully, always looking back on the damage done.
We shut our doors forcefully waiting to turn and run.
Love, I'm sorry I found the one I wasn't searching for,
If only I'd known she was the one who'd make me...
Give in so easily to feel the way I've always wanted.
But when we lose what we fight for it's so easy to blame it all on.
Love, I'm sorry I found the one I wasn't searching for,
If only I'd known she was the one who'd make me... fall...
Found the way, love found the way...
What good does make-up do,
When you only appear beautiful...
What good does make-up do, when it's running down your cheeks.
You want the things that you want.
The way you want it to be
You take all that you want
But can you be there for meeeeeeeee. Ohohoohohoh
I'm Sorry
You want the things that you want.
The way you want it to be
I'm Sorry
You take all that you want
But can you be there for meeeeeeeee. Ohohoohohoh

You do all that you want
The way you want it to be.
You think all that you like
But you can't think for meeeeeeee Oooooh
What you want, what you want, what you want from me.
I'm sorry cause I've got my dignity.
And you push, and you push for what can't be.
I've my own, yes my own identity
I'm Sorry I don't do
What I don't believe in.
Cause my heart tells me different.
And I must be true to me.
Cause I have my dignity
And I'll do what's right for me.
Cause I have respect for me
Respect for Me (Respect for Me.)
Oooooh
Ooooohh AH
I'm Sorry I don't do
What I don't believe in.
Oooooh Oooooh Oooooh
Oooooh Oooooh Oooooh
I'm Sorry I don't do
What I don't believe in.
Oooooh Oooooh Oooooh
Oooooh Oooooh Oooooh
But really...
I'm not sorry at all
Cause I'm proud of who I am
Yes I am proud of who I am.
And I am proud of where I stand.
I won't compromise myself
In order to please you
Not in order to please you
A girl like meeeeeeee
Don't need someone like you. (Someone like you) Nooonnoooo
You say Trust in meeee
Could I trust in you (How could I trust in you)
You may need me but I don't need you. (I don't need you)
Cause I have my dignity
And I'll do what's right for me.
Cause I have respect for me. (RESPECT)
Ooooh Respect for meeee
I do what pleases me. (What pleases meeee.)
Cause I have my dignity
And I'll do what's right for me.
Cause I have respect for me.
Cause I have respect for me.
Cause I have respect for me.
