Meeting rooms & teaching spaces

Law facilities

The Sir Zelman Cowen Centre has three rooms available for hire at its Queen St premises. These rooms can be hired on a casual or ad hoc basis for courses, seminars, meetings, training or other functions.

Catering is available by arrangement.

Teaching spaces

Hire tutorial rooms, lecture theatres, computer labs and general purpose classrooms at any of our campuses. They suit business meetings, seminars and lectures.

Function spaces

VenU Restaurant

Located at VU's Footscray Nicholson Campus, VenU Restaurant is a 120-seat state-of-the art training restaurant featuring commercial sized training kitchens with individual stainless steel work stations and the latest cooking equipment, two theatre-style demonstration kitchens, a training bar and multimedia laboratories. The versatile floor plan offers multiple options to ensure you get the training environment that suits your organisation's needs.

VenU can accommodate between 10 and 120 guests.

Sport & fitness facilities

Our sport and fitness centres provide a range of sporting facilities for hire, including an aquatic centre, five indoor sports courts, an athletics track and tennis courts.

Footscray Nicholson & Melton recreation centres

The recreation centres at our Footscray Nicholson and Melton campuses have multipurpose courts for hire, ideal for basketball, netball, volleyball, badminton and table tennis competitions.

Footscray Park Aquatic & Fitness Centre

Footscray Park Aquatic & Fitness Centre comprises three-levels, which include swimming, sport and teaching facilities. It has a 25m x 25m heated pool, a fully equipped gym with cardiovascular equipment and multi-purpose aerobics and martial arts rooms.
