A motto (Italian for pledge, sentence; plural: mottos or mottoes) is a phrase meant to formally summarize the general motivation or intention of a social group or organization. A motto may be in any language, but Latin is the most used. The local language is usual in the mottoes of governments. In informal ways, it can be a rule or slogan someone follows, or lives their life by.
In heraldry, a motto is often depicted on the shield or else above the crest as in Scots heraldry.
In English heraldry mottoes are not granted with armorial bearings, and may be adopted and changed at will. In Scottish heraldry mottoes can only be changed by re-matriculation, with the Lord Lyon King of Arms. Although very unusual and perhaps outside standard heraldic practice, there are some examples of the particular appearance of the motto scroll and letters thereon being blazoned.
A canting motto is one that contains word play. For example, the motto of the Earl of Onslow is Festina lente, punningly interpreting on-slow (literally "make haste slowly").

Kim Dotcom, born Kim Schmitz on January 21, 1974, also known as Kimble and Kim Tim Jim Vestor, is a German-Finnish businessman who rose to prominence during the dot-com bubble and was convicted of insider trading and embezzlement in its aftermath. He is also known as the founder of Megaupload and its associated websites. He legally changed his surname to Dotcom circa 2005. On January 20, 2012, the New Zealand Police placed him in custody under the charges of criminal copyright infringement in relation to his Megaupload Web site.
As a teenager, Dotcom became known in his native Germany for claims to have cracked corporate PBX systems in the United States, and tried to parlay it into a career in data security. That effort led to his arrest on charges of using and selling stolen calling card numbers. In 1994, Dotcom founded a computer security company called DataProtect. In 1999, DataProtect and IVM engineering presented the "Megacar", a Brabus-tuned Mercedes-Benz S-Class W220 which, among other features, had a Windows NT server, a 17.3" SGI flat panel display and combined 16 GSM modules to provide mobile broadband Internet access.
Kana Nishino (西野 カナ, Nishino Kana?, born March 18, 1989 in Matsusaka, Mie, Japan) is a J-Pop singer and lyricist signed with SME Records' Newcome Inc. She debuted on February 20, 2008, with the single "I". CNN said that she was the favorite singer of teenage girls in Shibuya, Tokyo, signalling Sony's jump on the bandwagon effect started by Avex.
Nishino studied English from an early age, and went to America twice. She became interested in various genres of music, including hip-hop, R&B and reggae, but she also enjoyed Japanese literature, and started singing Japanese folk songs. Her dream of becoming a singer started in junior high school. When she was 16, her mother secretly sent a demo tape of hers to the Miss Phoenix Audition, and she was rated the top singer entrant out of approximately 40,000 applicants. A year later in 2006, she was signed to SME Records.
In 2007 while preparing to be a singer, she was also studying English literature at college. At the time she met Australian duo Nervo, who offered Nishino a song called "I Don't Wanna Know" for use in her music project. Nishino rewrote the song's lyrics into Japanese herself, and re-titled it "I". Since her debut, she had done most of the lyrics herself. She had no experience of writing lyrics before until her debut, debut single "I" Coupling "Just a friend" was the first lyricist to work. Her writings are mostly from experiences or heard from friends, and deliberation rewritten many times. Every time after hearing some songs, the listenings will become visible color which is like color, the movie phrase, and have finally turn into script and act like filmmaking.
Can you build ?.
You know, its something
that keeps you sane.
And you can't explain what.
But you know, it's
what's left inside you.
And I know its something,
you know, its something
that keeps me sane.
And I can't explain why,
it's all I have,
left to hold on to.
And I say, that is every day.
you (you) know (know) what (woah-oh-oh-oh)
it means to me.
It's just a reason to wait.
From the something that keeps me sane.
I have a reason to wait
(Woah) Wait.
I have a reason to wait.
From the something that keeps me sane.
I have a reason to wait.
Can you build ?.
You know, its something
that keeps us sane.
And you can't explain what.
But you know, it's
what's left inside you.
And I know its something, (Woah---)
you know, its something (--oh---)

And I can't explain why,
it's all I have,
left to hold on to.
And I say, that is every day.
schemes (schemes)
you (you) know (know) what (woah-oh--)

From the something that keeps me sane.
