It's funny because in Australia I actually work with a company who supply lenses for my optometric group and it's a French company and it's funny because the way how we make these lenses, is that they have to be so specific, and the laboratory manager says to the rest of the people, ""I have to understand what Michael says because he speaks French and I have to translate for him but I don't."" [xx]. But I would like to say thank you very much for this wonderful opportunity to be at this university, I really mean it because I've been on a quest, Quantum quest. Being on a journey for many years because the work which I've been doing first of all I started it off as a holographic model of trying to change people's vision. When I started Optometry, I was the age of 30 and people thought, ""Optometry, you got to be joking, you are going to be bored with that. You're going to be in a little dark room, and looking and black and white chart and all the rest of it."" Well, that is exactly totally the opposite but during my quest and this is now 20 years on now, and I don't wear glasses, and I'm 54 now, and I'm not bragging, it's just knowing what vitality, the sense of life, what it is and don't, I can't save you, I know the answer that everyday, everyday, people are teaching me things. You know, I find it's just remarkable. People say to me, ""Michael how do you know this stuff?"" I say, ""You guys teach me every single day."" But what I found fantastic was that three years ago I had the opportunity to present at the Sixth International Congress of Behavioral Optometry. It was called Quantum Optics Visual Sematic Re-alignment: Vision Body Integration. And I thought I knew something about Quantum, I had no idea. I thought I did, but anyway it was a start, but there was one dear lady there who was trying to get me into graduate programs up and down the West Coast. I said, ""No I can't leave."" But I met a gentleman there, Jacob Liberman, some of you may know and he sat at my talk and we spent a wonderful afternoon, that afternoon and about seven or eight months later because he put me on ISEM, his Institute for Subtle Energy Medicine, and up popped up Quantum University. I couldn't believe it, no honestly and I thought, ""This is exactly what am looking for."" And here I am today. I rang up that very day, and the next day Dr. Paul called me and with Michelle Harveson, and he said so, ""Welcome to the Kauhana,"" and I thought, ""This is amazing."" This journey has been phenomenal for me, and it's still ongoing. I just love the work, it's not the work, it's the people who I work with, because when they show trust to me, the way how we can interrelate with each other and do things together to see how they changed, that they see well, they feel well, they are well, and that each consecutive time they come back, their prescription's reduced and better and opportunities open up, the possibilities open up. Many years ago, a patient of mine, I won't take long now, he's laughing, yeah, I could talk all night, but anyway, I won't. He gave me a copy of [xx] and there was Dr. Amit Goswani, and I just had to laugh, because I was telling everybody, ""Oh, look this work is all about possibility and opportunity and there's Dr. Goswani."" ""Oh, Quantum Physics. It's a physics a possibility."" I just thought, ""I couldn't believe it."" So I knew I was in connection but it has taken all this time and it's lovely to be here and I thank you so much and I really, I'm so thrilled for Dr. Paul and all staff because they had put in so much over the years, I can see that, I know what it's like to be a pioneer, to bring a university like this together, and what is going to happen with this university. Let's give him all the help we can, because he and all of you staff deserve it, because people need to know what the truth is, and to enjoy it and to live it." - Michael Christian
