WWE SmackDown Spoilers: Complete Results and Analysis for September 12
After Monday night's episode of Raw, the card for Night of Champions on September 21 is shaping up quite nicely.
Randy Orton and Chris Jericho appear to be on a collision course. The Viper further injured Jericho's knee following a hard-fought match against Bray Wyatt and will now have the opportunity to send Y2J off with a devastating loss.
Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins will continue the fallout of The Shield's premature demise from earlier this year when they meet one-on-one at the event. Rollins has picked off his former partners one by one and collected the Money in the Bank briefcase along the way.
Will he conquer Reigns come Night of Champions or will the surging second-generation star end his streak of success?
With rematches between John Cena and Brock Lesnar as well as Dolph Ziggler and The Miz, and Mark Henry and Rusev squaring off with each other, the annual September pay-per-view looks like a dark-horse contender for one of the year's better offerings.
What can fans expect as WWE continues its buildup to the event with this week's SmackDown?

Results
The Usos, Big Show and Henry defeated Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, Goldust and Stardust.
Bo Dallas defeated Justin Gabriel. Jack Swagger was at ringside for the match.
Divas champion Paige defeated Summer Rae via submission with the Black Widow, mocking AJ Lee, who was on commentary at ringside.
Henry defeated Rusev in an International Arm Wrestling Contest.
Ziggler and R-Truth defeated Damien Sandow and The Miz.
Jericho and Reigns defeated Orton and Rollins when Jericho pinned Orton with a rollup.
Analysis

The feuds involving Jericho, Orton, Reigns and Rollins taking center stage is a smart move for WWE and SmackDown.
All four are just a step below John Cena and Brock Lesnar in terms of star power, so the show features a fairly significant main event and, at the same time, allows the four Superstars to enjoy further exposure without Cena, Lesnar or the Bella Twins to steal spotlight away from their stories.
If you are a fan of Henry, Friday's show will be right down your alley.
The World's Strongest Man is all over SmackDown, competing in a huge eight-man tag to kick off the night, then defeating Rusev in an arm wrestling contest later in the evening.

Why Henry is suddenly the recipient of a huge push after doing absolutely nothing of note for the majority of the year is somewhat of a mystery, but one thing is for sure: Putting over the Bulgarian Brute at Night of Champions will do wonders for the young star's push.
Rivalries between Ziggler and The Miz, Lee and Paige, and Swagger and Bo Dallas continue to unfold while The Usos and No. 1 contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championships, Goldust and Stardust, interact during in-ring competition to ensure that everything that takes place this week has some sort of meaning.
While nothing out of the ordinary or particularly eventful appears to happen, that the show is more focused than in recent weeks and does not suffer from an abundance of useless comedy schlock or filler should help the overall quality of the broadcast.
