Michael Lehmann Boddicker (born January 19, 1953), is an American film composer and session musician, specializing in electronic music. Three times N.A.R.A.S. Most Valuable Player "Synthesizer" and MVP Emeritus, he was awarded a Grammy as a songwriter for Imagination from Flashdance in 1984. In recognition of his achievements, contributions and furtherance of electronic music in the recording industry he was presented with an honorary doctorate of music from Coe College in 1991. He has given seminars at such noticeable entities as FIDM, Coe, The International Computer Music Conference and San Jose State University. He was the winner of Keyboard Magazine's Reader's Poll Award - "Best Studio Synthesist" 1986 & 1987 and "Best Session Player" 1988.
Boddicker grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. His parents operated a music store there. His ancestors (Johan & Elisabeth (Jacobi) Boddicker) emigrated in 1861 from the village of Brilon, Province of Westphalia. He is a distant cousin of the Major League Baseball player, Mike Boddicker, who is also originally from Cedar Rapids.
Steven Maxwell "Steve" Porcaro (born September 2, 1957, Hartford, Connecticut) is an American keyboardist and composer, who was an original member of the rock band Toto. He is also the sole surviving Porcaro brother with his brothers Jeff and Mike having died in 1992 and 2015 respectively.
Porcaro wrote or co-wrote at least one song on each of Toto's first six albums, with the exception of Isolation. Unlike most of his bandmates, he generally did not contribute lead or even backing vocals; he considered himself a weak singer, and sang lead on two of his earlier compositions only because he felt that the vocal styles of his bandmates, with the exception of Joseph Williams, were not appropriate for his songs. He left Toto in 1986 after the Fahrenheit album in order to pursue a more full-time songwriting and composing career. Porcaro composed the music for the song "Human Nature" and produced the synthesizer for "The Girl Is Mine" from Michael Jackson's album Thriller, and also played with Gary Wright during his tour in 1977, supporting the latter's The Dream Weaver album.
Human nature refers to the distinguishing characteristics, including ways of thinking, feeling and acting, that humans tend to have naturally.
Human nature may also refer to:
Michael /ˈmaɪkəl/ is a male given name that comes from the Hebrew: מִיכָאֵל / מיכאל (Mīkhāʼēl, pronounced [miχaˈʔel]), derived from the question מי כאל mī kāʼēl, meaning "Who is like God?" (literally, "Who is like El?). In English, it is sometimes shortened to Mike, Mikey, Mickey, or Mick.
Female forms of Michael include Michelle, Michele, Michaela, Mechelle, Micheline, and Michaelle, although Michael is occasionally seen as a female name; women named Michael include actresses Michael Learned and Michael Michele. Another form is Mychal, which can either be a male or female name.
Patronymic surnames that come from Michael include Michaels, Carmichael, MacMichael, McMichael, Micallef, Michaelson, Mikkelsen, DiMichele, Mikhaylov, Mykhaylenko, Mikeladze, Michels, and Mitchell.
The name first appears in the Hebrew Bible in the Book of Numbers, 13:13 where Sethur the son of Michael is one of 12 spies sent into the Land of Canaan. The archangel Michael features in the Book of Daniel 12:1, and in the Qur'an as Mikhail.
Steven Lee Lukather (born October 21, 1957) is an American guitarist, singer, songwriter, arranger and record producer, best known for his work with the rock band Toto. A prolific session musician, Lukather has recorded guitar tracks for more than 1,500 albums representing a broad array of artists and genres. He has also contributed to albums and hit singles as a songwriter, arranger and producer. Lukather has released seven solo albums, the latest of which, Transition, was released in January 2013.
In 1976, when Lukather was nineteen years old, he was invited by his high school friends David Paich and the Porcaro brothers Steve and Jeff to join them in forming their band, Toto. He has been a member of the band ever since it began, and is still fully contributing to their album composition and touring. Lukather's reputation as a guitarist and his association with Paich and Jeff Porcaro, who also became established artists, allowed him to secure a solid flow of session work in the 1970s and 1980s. Lukather has been nominated for twelve Grammy Awards, and has won five. While his work with Toto was predominantly based on pop rock music and his solo work ventures into progressive rock and hard rock, many of Lukather's side-projects are focused on jazz fusion. He held a long-time collaboration with jazz guitarist Larry Carlton that produced a Grammy-winning live album, and he was a member of the jazz fusion band Los Lobotomys, a collaboration of notable session musicians.

Michael Boddicker The transformative impact Triad-Orbit is having on the audio recording world connects us with some real industry heavyweights. It’s especially gratifying when one of your favorite artists, producers or engineers is a fan of T-O. For me, Michael Boddicker is that guy. If you were a working musician in the '80’s and '90’s, you know Michael Boddicker and the sonic fingerprint he imprinted on popular music. MB was a player’s player and a grammy-winning songwriter working in the epicenter of pop music. But MB was THE programmer when keyboards propelled modern music, MIDI manipulated the magic and sequences, patterns and patches were just as important as melodies and grooves. From a SounDisc, a flexible disc (record), that was included in Keyboard Magazine in the 80's. I have several of these but this is my favorite one. It's from a computer generated IMAX film. Couldn't find much imagery to go with it online so I alternated the one (yes, ONE) image of the title with images of the composer/performer: Michael Boddicker. I'm sure this is copyrighted but I don't know who to credit or where (or even IF) it can be bought. This is one of my all time favorite pieces of music and I still listen to it today, which is why I cleaned up the "pops and clicks" from the old SounDisc so that I could continue to enjoy it. I hope you do, too!

***CORRECTION*** Music From The Motion Picture: Composed and Conducted by Lalo Schifrin F/X 2 (1991) Starring Bryan Brown, Brian Dennehy As a fan of this 1991 follow up to the original F/X film from 1986, the one thing that stuck with me for decades was the film's score. Lalo Schifrin created, in my opinion, one of the most overlooked masterpieces with this movie, which was a classic case of post-production chaos, hand-changing, last-minute edits, and all of the unfortunate fates of filmmakers and producers scrambling to put together a film while the production company, Orion, was free-falling into bankruptcy. In the midst of all of this mayhem the original Main Title sequence, the Bluey (Clown) Theme, and a few other notable cues from the film were reconstructed and amped-up a bit for ...
Propietario del contenido: Sony Music Entertainment English "Human Nature" is an R&B; song by American recording artist Michael Jackson. It was written by Steve Porcaro and John Bettis, and produced by Quincy Jones for the singer's sixth solo album, Thriller (1982). Initially, Porcaro had recorded a rough demo of the song on a cassette, which was then given to Jones. Enjoying the demo, Jones had the ballad included on the Thriller album. The song was the last selected for the album, ousting "Carousel" from the final track listing. "Human Nature" was released on July 3, 1983, as the album's fifth single. Although not released in the UK, the song achieved chart success in the US. Reaching number two on Billboard's Hot Adult Contemporary chart and number seven on the Hot 100, the song ...

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087662/ This rather rare computer animation from 1984 was originally released to Omni Max (dome) theaters which explains why the video doesn't always look centered, and why there are some odd curvatures in places. While the graphics are clearly incredibly dated, the all-synthesized Michael Boddicker soundtrack is still brilliant. Sadly the audio from the VHS tape was recorded in mono.
