Everett True (born Jerry Thackray in 1961) is a British music journalist, who grew up in Chelmsford, Essex. He became interested in rock music after hearing The Residents, and formed a band with school friends.

In 1982, he went to a gig by The Laughing Apple and met the group's lead singer Alan McGee. According to McGee: "there used to be this guy who'd stand at the front of all the gigs and dance disjointedly". They became friends and when McGee started the Communication Blur club, he offered Thackray the role of compėre, stating that Thackray "was the most un-enigmatic, boring, kindest, shyest person you could ever meet - and it just appealed to my sense of humour to make him compère." He was originally billed as "the legendary Jerry Thackray", eventually shortened to simply "The Legend". McGee also offered him a column in his new fanzine, also called Communication Blur, but Thackray left after two issues, because he objected to McGee's proposal to put a flexidisc of The Smiths on the front cover. He instead started his own zine, The Legend!, under which name he recorded the single "73 in 83", the first to be released by McGee's Creation Records. In 1984, he released a second single, "Legend Destroys the Blues", but his performing career did not take off. He puts this down to the fact that he "didn't like to perform a song more than once", although he has continued to make occasional appearances.

Tara Jane O'Neil (born November 22, 1972) (last name sometimes spelled "ONeil", sometimes known as TJO) is an American multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, audio recording engineer, and visual artist based out of Portland, Oregon.

O'Neil has collaborated with a diverse community of friends and advisers, scoring theatre productions and short films, playing improvised shows, and working with dancers and painters. Her previous bands include Rodan, Retsin (with Cynthia Nelson), The Sonora Pine, The King Cobra, and Drinking Woman. She has played live and on recordings with Mount Eerie, The Naysayer, Come, Mirah, Ida, Sebadoh, Jackie-O Motherfucker, K., Michael Hurley, Papa M, and Amy Ray.

Solo she has released several albums as Tara Jane O'Neil, formed the Ecstatic Tambourine Orchestra, and crafted soundtracks for film and theater.

O'Neil is also a notable visual artist. Her work has been exhibited in New York City, Barcelona, Tokyo, Kyoto, Louisville, and Portland, among other places. Her artwork has appeared on her solo record covers, on the record covers of many others (Retsin, Ida, The Naysayer, Castanets), in poetry books by Cynthia Nelson (Raven Days and The Kentucky Rules) and Maggie Nelson (cover of Something Bright, Then Holes), in the magazines Punk Planet, Magnet, The Wire, Venus Zine, Copper Press, and various international publications. Who Takes A Feather, a book of her drawings and paintings, was published in 2004 by Map Press out of Tokyo. In 2007, Wings. Strings. Meridians. A Blighted Bestiary was published by Yeti, including an album of live recordings, 4-track demos, and out-takes.

Jace Everett (born 1972) is an American recording artist. Signed to Epic Records in 2005, he released his debut single "That's the Kind of Love I'm In" in 2005, which peaked at No. 51 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, and was the first single from his self-titled debut album. He also co-wrote Josh Turner's Number One single "Your Man". His song "Bad Things" is the theme for the HBO series True Blood. In 2009, he released his third album, Red Revelations, under the Weston Boys label.

Jace Everett was born in Evansville, Indiana in 1972. His father's jobs kept them on the move through Carmel, IN and then St. Louis, MO before moving to Fort Worth, TX at the age of six. He started playing music in his church and in school concerts. He later moved to Nashville, TN to attend Belmont University. He has a son, Jacques Beasley, born in 1996.

In 2005, Everett was signed to Epic Records. He released his first single, "That's The Kind of Love I'm In", in June 2005. This song charted at No. 51 on the country charts, and was followed in early 2006 by the release of his self-titled debut album. Also in 2006, Josh Turner charted at Number One on the country charts with the song "Your Man", which Everett co-wrote, and for which Everett received a Broadcast Music Incorporated award. The album's other singles — "Bad Things," "Nowhere in the Neighborhood" and "Everything I Want" — did not chart in the United States, although "Bad Things" reached No. 49 on the UK Singles Chart in November 2009.

Julian Knowles is an Australian composer and performer, specialising in new and emerging technologies. His creative work spans the fields of composition for theatre, dance, film and television, electronic music, sound and new media arts, popular music and record production. Since the mid-1980s, he has established himself as a prominent artist in the area of electronic and new music, achieving significant critical recognition for his performances and recordings.

Although working primarily as a solo artist, he has been a member of the experimental sound art ensemble Social Interiors since the early 90s and has collaborated with a wide range of Australian and international artists. In recent years, his work has been presented at venues and events such as the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Experimental Intermedia in New York City, the Seoul International Performance Art Festival, The Melbourne International Film Festival, What Is Music, Electrofringe, the Sydney Opera House, the International Computer Music Conference, and a range of major arts venues.
