All About - Bahá'í Faith
What is Bahá'í Faith? A report all about Bahá'í Faith for homework/assignment The Bahá'í Faith ( Baha'iyyah) ) is a monotheistic religion emphasizing the spiritual unity of all humankind. Three core principles establish a basis for Bahá'í teachings and doctrine: the unity of God, that there is only one God who is the source of all creation; the unity of religion, that all major religions have the same spiritual source and come from the same God; and the unity of humanity, that all humans have been created equal, and that diversity of race and culture are seen as worthy of appreciation and acceptance. According to the Bahá'í Faith's teachings, the human purpose is to learn to know and love God through such methods as prayer, reflection and being of service to humanity. A holiday is a day set aside by custom or by law in which normal activities, especially business or work, are to be suspended or reduced. Generally holidays are intended to allow individuals to celebrate or commemorate something of cultural or religious significance. Holidays may be designated by governments, religious institutions, or other groups or organizations. The degree to which normal activities are reduced by a holiday may depend on local laws, customs, or even personal choices. The concept of holidays has most often originated as religious observances. The intention of a holiday was typically to allow individuals to tend to religious duties associated with important dates on the calendar. In most modern societies, however, holidays serve as much of a recreational function as anything else. In many societies there are important distinctions between holidays designated by governments and holidays designated by religious institutions. For example, in many predominantly Christian nations, government-designed holidays may center around Christian holidays, though non-Christians may instead observe religious holidays associated with their faith. In some cases, a holiday may only be nominally observed. For example, many Jews in the Americas and Europe treat the relatively minor Jewish holiday of Chanukah as a working holiday, changing very little of their daily routines for this day. Many holidays are linked to faiths and religions (see etymology above). Christian holidays are defined as part of the liturgical year, the chief ones being Easter and Christmas. The Orthodox Christian and Western-Roman Catholic patronal feast day or 'name day' are celebrated in each place's patron saint's day, according to the Calendar of saints. Jehovah's Witnesses annually observe "The Passover".[1] In Islam, the largest holidays are Eid ul-Fitr (immediately after Ramadan) and Eid al-Adha (at the end of the Hajj). Hindus, Jains and Sikhs observe several holidays, one of the largest being Diwali (Festival of Light). Japanese holidays contain references to several different faiths and beliefs. Celtic, Norse, and Neopagan holidays follow the order of the Wheel of the Year. Some are closely linked to Swedish festivities. The Bahá'í Faith observes holidays as defined by the Bahá'í calendar. Jews have two holiday seasons: the Spring Feasts of Pesach (Passover) and Shavuot (Weeks, called Pentecost in Greek); and the Fall Feasts of Rosh Hashanah (Head of the Year), Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), Sukkot (Tabernacles), and Shemini Atzeret (Eighth Day of Assembly). Mengenal Rumah Ibadah Agama Baha'i Indonesia
Video Mengenal Rumah Ibadah Agama Baha'i Indonesia ....

Violence with Impunity Acts of aggression against Iran's Baha'i community
During the period from 2005 through the end of 2012, the Bahá'í International Community has documented 52 cases where Bahá'ís have been tortured or held in solitary confinement while in detention. Another 52 incidents where Bahá'ís have been physically assaulted—sometimes at the hands of officials and sometimes at the hands of plainclothes or unidentified attackers—have also been documented, as have some 49 incidents of arson against Bahá'í homes and shops, more than 30 cases of vandalism, and at least 42 incidents of cemetery desecration. Yet in none of these incidents have attackers -- whether government agents, local officials, or plainclothes or otherwise unidentified individuals -- been prosecuted for their crimes. Naw Ruz Baha'i New Year
This is a short video for the Naw-Ruz celebration. Naw-Ruz in the Baha'i Faith is one of nine holy days for the followers of the Baha'i Faith worldwide and the first day of the Baha'i calendar occurring on the vernal equinox, around March 21st. In this regard Baha'u'llah the prophet founder of the Baha'i Faith in the Most Holy Book says: We ... have designated for you Naw‐Ruz as a feast ... Happy the one who entereth upon the first day of the month of Bahá, the day which God hath consecrated to this Great Name ... the day on which the breath of life is wafted over all created things..."
