Pedagogical Changes: Initiators, Causes, Dominant Factors -- A Teacher\'s View
The purposes of this research are to identify and to look into (a) the main initiators leading to pedagogical changes, i.e., changes regarding various teaching strategies concerning students, academic content, and the teacher's educational orientation; (b) the major causes that stimulate pedagogical changes and (c) the dominant factors (supporting and hindering factors) involved during the processes of change.
Participants were 432 teachers in primary schools, junior high schools, and high schools.
Findings indicate that the major initiator (40%) leading to pedagogical changes is an internal initiator, the teacher and the administration together. The main cause (26.7 %) stimulating pedagogical changes is \"Students` development\"; the dominant supporting factor involved during the processes of change is \"Cooperation between colleagues\" (M=3.07, SD=1.16), and the dominant hindering factor involved during the changes is \"Inadequate budget\" ( M=1.87, SD=0.99).
The accumulated findings raise the important position of teachers in the process of pedagogical changes. Information retrieved about the main initiators leading to pedagogical changes, the main causes that stimulate pedagogical changes and the dominant (supporting and hindering) factors involved during the pedagogical changes help to complete the whole picture of what is involved in such processes. The findings offer information about teachers' views both during and after implementation of change. They thus enrich our knowledge about the practical aspects of integrating change, and can form a "database" for education officers, heads of schools, instructors and other agents of change in general, and of pedagogical changes such as those currently prevailing in the educational system in particular.

Medea (a la carta) és una proposta escènica entorn al mite i de-construcció del personatge de Medea. Aquest treball té com a referents les pel.lícules Medea de Pasolini i Medea de Lars Von Trier, la narrativa de Roberto Calasso a Las bodas de Cadmo y Armonía i els textos Medea Material de Heiner Müller i God-Dog de Toni Cots. S’estructura en 4 peces curtes cadascuna amb entitat pròpia. Són diverses aproximacions al personatge i al seu mite; diferents mirades i relacions que es fan visibles a través del diàleg que s’estableix tant per part meva com de l’espectador amb el personatge. Medea ens acompanya i nosaltres evocant-la ens hi relacionem.
La proposta és generar un espai d’intimitat que permeti obrir noves mirades sobre el fet escènic i establir una relació amb el públic on puguem exposar i compartir les diverses temàtiques que la revisió contemporània del mite qüestiona. Fins al moment he presentat Medea (a la carta) en cases i espais particulars. Ara tinc la necessitat de situar la proposta en un altre context convidant a l’espectador al teatre.
L’Antic Teatre esdevindrà aquest espai de trobada del 27 de setembre al 24 de novembre. L’aforament és limitat i per assistir-hi és imprescindible reservar amb antelació. A cada presentació mostraré una selecció de 2 peces i en acabat s’obrirà un diàleg amb el públic assistent.
Després de llicenciar-me per l’Institut del Teatre de Barcelona continuo formant-me amb diferents artistes i companyies a Catalunya i Berlin. Col.laboro habitualment amb La Reial Companyia de Teatre de Catalunya i diversos artistes independents mostrant el treball a Anglaterra, Berlin, Amsterdam i Catalunya. Des del 2008 codirigeixo i gestiono La Serradora, un espai municipal dedicat a la creació i investigació de les arts escèniques i del moviment, on desenvolupo la meva recerca i pràctica creativa entorn el cos i els seus llenguatges.
Alhora treballo buscant línies pedagògiques que permetin la transmissió del coneixement sobre el propi cos i el fet creatiu. Des del 2006 sóc membre de La Bombeta, associació situada a Mollet del Vallès, que vol obrir un espai de relació entre artistes i públic.

Medea (a la carta) es una propuesta escénica en torno al mito y de-construcción del personaje de Medea. Este trabajo tiene como referentes las películas Medea de Pasolini y Medea de Lars Von Trier, la narrativa de Roberto Calasso en Las bodas de Cadmo y Armonía y los textos Medea Material de Heiner Müller y God-Dog de Toni Cots. Se estructura en 4 piezas cortas cada una con entidad propia. Son diversas aproximaciones al personaje y a su mito; diferentes miradas y relaciones que se hacen visibles a través del diálogo que se establece tanto por mi parte como del espectador con el personaje. Medea nos acompaña y nosotros evocándola nos relacionamos con ella.
La propuesta es generar un espacio de intimidad que permita abrir nuevas miradas sobre el hecho escénico y establecer una relación con el público dónde podamos exponer y compartir las diversas temáticas que la revisión contemporánea del mito cuestiona. Hasta el momento he presentado Medea (a la carta) en casas y espacios particulares. Ahora tengo la necesidad de situar la propuesta en otro contexto invitando al espectador al teatro.
