Orléans (pronounced: [ɔʁleɑ̃]) is a city in north-central France, about 130 kilometres (81 mi) southwest of Paris. It is the capital of the Loiret department and of the Centre region.
Orléans is located on the Loire River where the river curves south towards the Massif Central.
The city of New Orleans (in French, La Nouvelle-Orléans), in the United States is named after the commune of Orléans.
Orléans is located in the northern bend of the Loire, which crosses from east to west. Orléans belongs to the vallée de la Loire sector between Sully-sur-Loire and Chalonnes-sur-Loire, which was in 2000 inscribed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The capital of Orléanais, 120 kilomètres south-south-west of Paris, it is bordered to the north by the Beauce region and the forêt d'Orléans, and the Orléans-la-Source neighbourhood and the Sologne region to the south.
Five bridges in the town cross the river :
To the south of the Loire (on the "rive gauche") is to be found a small hill (102 m (335 ft) at the pont Georges-V, 110 m (360 ft) at the place du Martroi) which gently rises to 125 m (410 ft) at la Croix Fleury, at the limits of Fleury-les-Aubrais.
Eric Patrick Clapton, CBE, (born 30 March 1945) is an English guitarist and singer-songwriter. Clapton is the only three-time inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: once as a solo artist, and separately as a member of The Yardbirds and Cream. Clapton has been referred to as one of the most important and influential guitarists of all time. Clapton ranked second in Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" and fourth in Gibson's Top 50 Guitarists of All Time.
In the mid 1960s, Clapton departed from the Yardbirds to play blues with John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers. In his one-year stay with Mayall, Clapton gained the nickname "Slowhand". Immediately after leaving Mayall, Clapton formed Cream, a power trio with drummer Ginger Baker and bassist Jack Bruce in which Clapton played sustained blues improvisations and "arty, blues-based psychedelic pop." For most of the 1970s, Clapton's output bore the influence of the mellow style of J.J. Cale and the reggae of Bob Marley. His version of Marley's "I Shot the Sheriff" helped reggae reach a mass market. Two of his most popular recordings were "Layla", recorded by Derek and the Dominos, another band he formed and Robert Johnson's "Crossroads", recorded by Cream. A recipient of seventeen Grammy Awards, in 2004 Clapton was awarded a CBE for services to music. In 1998, Clapton, a recovering alcoholic and drug addict, founded the Crossroads Centre on Antigua, a medical facility for recovering substance abusers.
Arlo Davy Guthrie (born July 10, 1947) is an American folk singer. Like his late father, Woody Guthrie, Arlo is known for singing songs of protest against social injustice. One of Guthrie's better-known works is "Alice's Restaurant Massacree", a satirical talking blues song about 18 minutes in length.
Arlo Guthrie was born in Brooklyn, New York, the son of folk singer and composer Woody Guthrie and his wife Marjorie Mazia Guthrie. His sister is Nora Guthrie. His mother was a one-time professional dancer with the Martha Graham Company and founder of the Committee to Combat Huntington's disease, the disease that took Woody's life in 1967. His maternal grandmother was renowned Yiddish poet Aliza Greenblatt. His father was from a Protestant family and his mother was Jewish; Guthrie received religious training for his bar mitzvah from Rabbi Meir Kahane, who would go on to form the Jewish Defense League. "Rabbi Kahane was a really nice, patient teacher," Guthrie later recalled, "but shortly after he started giving me my lessons, he started going haywire. Maybe I was responsible." Guthrie attended Woodward School in Clinton Hill Brooklyn 1st through 8th grades and later graduated from the Stockbridge School, in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, in 1965, and briefly attended Rocky Mountain College. He received an Honorary Doctorate from Westfield State College, in 2008.
John Cameron Fogerty (born May 28, 1945) is an American musician, songwriter, and guitarist, best known for his time with the swamp rock/roots rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) and as a solo recording artist. Fogerty has a rare distinction of being named on Rolling Stone magazine's list of 100 Greatest Guitarists at #40 and the list of 100 Greatest Singers at #72. The songs "Proud Mary" and "Born on the Bayou" also rank amongst the Greatest Pop songs ("Proud Mary," #41) and Guitar songs ("Born on the Bayou," #53).
Fogerty was born in Berkeley, California and is the younger brother of the late Tom Fogerty. He attended El Cerrito High School along with the other members of CCR and took guitar lessons from Berkeley Folk Festival creator/producer Barry Olivier.
Inspired by rock and roll pioneers, especially Little Richard and Bo Diddley, John and his brother Tom Fogerty joined Doug Clifford and Stu Cook in the late 1950s to form the band Tommy Fogerty and the Blue Velvets in El Cerrito, California. After signing with the jazz label Fantasy in 1965, they became The Golliwogs and released a few singles that were largely ignored.
David John "Dave" Matthews (born January 9, 1967) is a South African-American musician and actor, best known as the lead vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist for the Dave Matthews Band. He performs mainly with acoustic guitar and favors rhythm rather than solos in his playing.
David John Matthews was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, the third of four children of parents John and Valerie Matthews. At two years old, Matthews' family moved to Yorktown Heights in Westchester County, New York, where his father, a physicist, started working for IBM.
In 1974, the family moved to Cambridge, England, for a year before returning to New York, where his father died from lung cancer in 1977. Biographer Nevin Martell argues that Dave's father's death may be an impetus for his "carpe diem" lyrics. At some point while residing in New York, Matthews attended his first concert, when his mother took him to a performance by Pete Seeger. The family moved back to Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1977.
Upon Matthews' graduation from St Stithians College high school in 1985, he was faced with conscription into the South African military just as civil disobedience to the practice was becoming widespread. A Quaker (and consequently pacifist), Matthews left South Africa to avoid service.

Love, I am told is the deepest mystery,
harder to fathom than any sea,
more precious than all the earth and sky,
but nobody can tell you why.
(Chorus):
Give one heart, get back two;
that's the paradox of "I love you."
So when you give your heart,
you get one, too;
that's the paradox of "I love you."
(Verse 2):
If it is love for which you've cried,
you know how it feels
on the moon's dark side,
But if you baby loves you right,
you can have skyrockets any old night (Repeat Chorus)
(Break)
And you can't help sayin' it; "I love you."
Keep on sayin' it; "I love you."
You can't stop sayin' it; "I love you."
I won't stop until you say it, too.
(Verse 3):
Love can be gentle, soft and tame;
or so rough you wouldn't know its name.
Shy and wild like a runaway child,
storms of love always end up mild. (Repeat Chorus)
(Ending tag)
And you can't help sayin' it; "I love you."
Keep on sayin' it; "I love you."
You can't stop sayin' it; "I love you."
I saw a twinkle in her eye
It lit a fire deep inside
But it burned so wild and strong
I knew it wouldn't last for long
Chorus:
'Cause love takes time
And it's hard to find
You gotta take some time
To let love grow
I saw a shooting star go by
It blazed a path across the sky
But the beauty did not last, no
Some things just happen all to fast
(Chorus)
Well some think love's a game
You play for a night or two
But I think that's a shame
'Cause I know that in the end
They're bound to lose
(Chorus)
Oh love takes time
I said that it's hard to find
Oh, just take your time
And love will grow
If we really want our love to grow
We gotta take it slow, whoa
Love takes time
Yes it's hard to find
Baby love takes time
When the world was in trouble
And it looked like there was hell to pay
Fire, fire everywhere
And the news got worse each day
Well, people really wondered
Just how long they could hold out
God looked down from heaven above
And He began to shout
Let there be music
Let it shine like the sun
Let there be music
Everybody's got to have some fun, yeah
It's so hard to keep on smilin'
When people try to make you frown
But, we're all in this together
So why run one another down
You know we can't expect our problems
To grow wings and fly away
So fight the fight just as hard as you can
When it's time for you to play
Let there be music
Let it shine like the sun
Let there be music
Everybody's got to have some fun
Let there be music
Let it shine like the sun
Let there be music
Everybody's got to
Everybody's got to have some fun
Let there be music
Let it shine like the sun
Let there be music
I hope I never ever love anyone this much again
I can't take it anymore, I've been hurt before
Never ever quite like this time
What will become of me when you're no longer here
If I can't stop loving you, what am I to do
You'll be free but where will I be
Now that I'm used to love, how can I stand alone
Now that love has come and gone, like the ending of a song
A song my lonely heart keeps singing
Where do I go from here, will I get over you
If so, next time I'll be smart, I'll know before I start
A heart that don't care, don't get broken
I hope I never ever love anyone this much again
Never ever, never again
Well, I might not be able to say it out loud
I been watching you from across the crowd, baby
Just as soon as I get the chance
I'll happen to be there when you want to dance
Got to tell you how I feel
Words won't say it but my body will
I get so shy when I'm standing still
I get tongue tied when I have to speak
I said, I get tongue tied, I can?t move my feet
Well, some other guys might hand you a line
If you like sweet talk I guess that, that's fine
I won't deceive you with grandiose plans
I put it to you, you'll know I'm your man
Got to tell you how I feel
Words won't say it but my body will
I get so shy when I'm standing still
I get tongue tied when I have to speak
I said that I get tongue tied, I can?t move my feet
Tell me why it should be
That you have this effect on me
Why should I be shy with you?
I guess body English will just have to do
Some people sit and talk for days
They say funky music's a passing craze
Once we start to shake it on out
We'll give them something to talk about, yeah
Got to tell you how I feel
Words won't say it but my body will
I get so shy when I'm standing still
I get tongue tied when I have to speak
I said that I get tongue tied, I can?t move my feet
Tongue tied when I have to speak
Baby, baby, baby
Time passes on like a river that must always run
Now you are gone but I will have you till time is done
You can never take away the love you gave me yesterday
And I don?t have to capture you ?cause you?re here in my memory
My life goes on like a song that is never still
I?ll sing that song to the emptiness I?ll never fill
I don?t need your photograph to see your face in front of me
We may never touch again but you?re here in this melody
What once was will always be and you?ve left your imprint on me
Sometimes I think it?s the spark of conflict
With which we affect most heavily, but I hope if you think of me
You?ll remember only harmony
And time passes on like a river that must always run
Now you are gone but I will have you till time is done
You can never take away love you gave me yesterday
We've been together since way back when
Sometimes I never want to see you again
But I want you to know, after all these years
You're still the one I want whisperin' in my ear
You're still the one I want to talk to in bed
Still the one that turns my head
We're still having fun, and you're still the one
I looked at your face every day
But I never saw it 'til I went away
When winter came, I just wanted to go wanted to go
Deep in the desert, I longed for the snow
You're still the one that makes me laugh
Still the one that's my better half
We're still having fun, and you're still the one
You're still the one that makes me strong
Still the one I want to take along
We're still having fun, and you're still the one, yes you are
Changing, our love is going gold
Even though we grow old, it grows new
You're still the one that I love to touch
Still the one and I can't get enough
We're still having fun, and you're still the one
You're still the one who can scratch my itch
Still the one and I wouldn't switch
We're still having fun, and you're still the one
You are still the one that makes me shout
Still the one that I dream about
We're still having fun, and you're still the one
Still the one, yeah still the one
Dreaming again
Asleep in my bed
A river of visions
runs through my head.
Strange as it seems
the chaos of dreams
can change the course
and shape of things
He sees with an eye
only open an night
what weaves in the darkness
blossoms in the light
I wake in the morning
thrust without warning
into light all over again
Still chasing pleasure
running from pain
though I know
they're both the same
when the fog pulls away
and I'm here in today
and I can see
my dreams become reality
Since I opened up my eyes
it's time to arise
and show that I'm
not just dreaming, dreaming again.
Hey, Hey, Yeah...
Dreaming, Dreaming again.
Dreaming, Dreaming again.
Dreaming, Dreaming again.
Dreaming, Dreaming again.
Sails are just like wings, you can fly from things
Run before the wind, Lord, let it blow
Let it rock me slow while I sleep below
Dreaming dreams that only sailors know
And it will soothe your mind, smooth away your lives
Set your clock back on your own time
If you sail with me, we will find the sea
Sometimes I stop and wonder,
why can’t I let myself enjoy
The space I’m in,
And all the wonderful places I’ve been.
My eyes are on the future
And I can’t think about the past,
My aspirations
Always exceed my grasp.
You got to reach
A little bit higher
When the light within
Becomes a fire
Hey, Hey
Whoa, Whoa
You’ve got to grow
Sometimes, you know that
You got reach a little bit higher
To get hold of all that you desire
Stretch your soul and you will never grow old.
When the habits of a lifetime
Become a painful cage
You want to break out
But you don’t know how to change, No No
Well you may have a vision
Or you may have a friend
Who will come to you (come to you)
And say these same words again.
Yea, Yea, Well, Yea, Hey, Say that..
You got to reach (you got to reach)
A little bit higher (a little bit higher)
When the light within
Becomes a fire
Hey, Hey (Hey, Hey)
Whoa, Whoa (Whoa, Whoa)
You’ve got to grow.
Sometimes, I sit myself down and I say
You got to reach (You got to reach)
a little bit higher (higher)
To get hold of all that you desire
Stretch your soul and you’ll never grow old.
Never, Never, Never, Never grow old.
You got to reach (You got to reach)
a little bit higher (a little bit higher)
When the light within
Becomes a fire
Hey, Hey (Hey, Hey)
Whoa, Whoa (Whoa, Whoa)
You’ve got to grow.
You got to reach (You got to reach)
a little bit higher (higher)
To get hold of all that you desire
Stretch your soul and you’ll never grow old.
Never, Never, Never, Never grow old
Dance with me, I want to be your partner
Can't you see the music is just starting?
Night is falling, and I am falling
Dance with me
Fantasy could never be so giving
I feel free, I hope that you are willing
Pick your feet up, and kick your feet up
Dance with me
Let it lift you off the ground
Starry eyes, and love is all around us
I can take you where you want to go
Dance with me, I want to be your partner
Can't you see the music is just starting?
Night is falling, and I am falling
Dance with me
Let it lift you off the ground
Starry eyes, and love is all around us
I can take you where you want to go
Dance with me, I want to be your partner
Can't you see the music is just starting?
Night is falling, and I am falling
Every day I spend with you goes by so fast,
it seems like an hour.
You can make my life complete, or tear it apart.
You've got the power.
But I can think of a thousand things
I hope we get to do.
But how can I make it through my life
if I don't have you?
Tears and laughter, rain and sun,
make a rainbow, so they say.
A tree can grow right through a rock
looking for air, or the light of day.
The wind can blow the clouds away,
and leave a sky of blue.
But how can I make it through my life
if I don't have you?
You're so deep inside me.
You're a part of my core.
And I'm not sure where I leave off,
and you begin any more.
But I like this intertwining,
as if we were two vines.
Mornings full of glory,
Evenings sweet as wine.
The wind can blow the clouds away,
and leave a sky of blue.
But how can I make it through my life
if I don't have you,
if I don't have you,
I saw a twinkle in her eye
It lit a fire deep inside
But it burned so wild and strong
I knew it wouldn't last for long
Chorus:
'Cause love takes time
And it's hard to find
You gotta take some time
To let love grow

Forever - good friends are forever.
They never fade even when they ‘re weathered by the years.
Whenever, I’m lonely
Whenever, I think I’m the only one who cries, You feel my tears.
Oh, I need to share
All of my joys, all of my cares, with you.
You are my friend.
Oh, Together - good friends stay together
And whether we’re far or near
You always seem to hear when I call
What I’m trying to say is though we’re apart you’re in my heart to stay
It can happen any time of year
But Baby, it’s whenever you’re near
Just the sound of your name
Brings pleasure and pain
And the reason is very clear
I got Spring Fever
And they say it can go to your head
Spring Fever
I get dizzy just lying in bed
Spring Fever
Won’t you please stay by me;
Don’t deny me
Cause I never needed loving more
Used to be a quiet guy
Sensible and dignified
????
I got Spring Fever
And they say it can go to your head
Spring Fever
I get dizzy just lying in bed
Spring Fever
Darlin’ please stay by me
Don’t deny me
