Year 1977 (MCMLXXVII) was a common year starting on Saturday (link will display the full calendar) of the Gregorian calendar. It was also the 1977th year of the Common Era, the 977th year of the 2nd millennium, the 77th year of the 20th century, and the 8th year of the 1970s.
Anamaría Merino (born 1977), commonly known by her stage name Ana Tijoux or Anita Tijoux, is a French-Chilean musician. She became famous in Latin America as the female MC of hip-hop group Makiza during the late 1990s. In 2006, she crossed over to the mainstream of Latin pop after her collaboration with Mexican songstress Julieta Venegas in the radio hit "Eres para mí". Tijoux has often been praised for "exploring sensitive matters devoid of violence." She is currently promoting her second solo album, 1977.
Tijoux is the daughter of Chilean parents living in political exile in France during Augusto Pinochet's dictatorship of Chile.
After the return to democracy in Chile, Tijoux flew back to her father's land. Being a teenager, she found home in the emerging hip-hop scene of Santiago and she started rhyming first in French, then in Spanish. For a while, she formed part of a group that included Zaturno, later of Tiro de Gracia. In 1997, she joined Seo2, Cenzi, and DJ Squat to form Makiza.
Makiza released their first cassette in 1998, Vida Salvaje. It was an independent production but gained huge acceptance in the local scene.
Elvis Aaron Presley (January 8, 1935 – August 16, 1977) was one of the most popular American singers of the 20th century. A cultural icon, he is widely known by the single name Elvis. He is often referred to as the "King of Rock and Roll" or simply "the King".
Born in Tupelo, Mississippi, Presley moved to Memphis, Tennessee, with his family at the age of 13. He began his career there in 1954, working with Sun Records owner Sam Phillips, who wanted to bring the sound of African American music to a wider audience. Accompanied by guitarist Scotty Moore and bassist Bill Black, Presley was the most important popularizer of rockabilly, an uptempo, backbeat-driven fusion of country and rhythm and blues. RCA Victor acquired his contract in a deal arranged by Colonel Tom Parker, who would manage the singer for over two decades. Presley's first RCA single, "Heartbreak Hotel", released in January 1956, was a number one hit. He became the leading figure of the newly popular sound of rock and roll with a series of network television appearances and chart-topping records. His energized interpretations of songs, many from African American sources, and his uninhibited performance style made him enormously popular—and controversial. In November 1956, he made his film debut in Love Me Tender.
Robin McLaurin Williams (born July 21, 1951) is an American actor and comedian. Rising to fame with his role as the alien Mork in the TV series Mork & Mindy, and later stand-up comedy work, Williams has performed in many feature films since 1980. He won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the 1997 film Good Will Hunting. He has also won two Emmy Awards, four Golden Globes, two Screen Actors Guild Awards and five Grammy Awards.
Williams was born in Chicago, Illinois. His mother, Laura McLaurin (née Smith, 1922–2001), was a former model from New Orleans, Louisiana. His father, Robert Fitzgerald Williams (September 10, 1906 – October 18, 1987), was a senior executive at Ford Motor Company in charge of the Midwest region. His maternal great-great-grandfather was senator and Mississippi governor Anselm J. McLaurin. Williams is of English, Welsh, Irish, and French ancestry. He was raised in the Episcopal Church (his mother practiced Christian Science). He grew up in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, where he was a student at the Detroit Country Day School, and later moved to Woodacre, Marin County, California, where he attended the public Redwood High School. Williams studied at Claremont McKenna College (then called Claremont Men's College) for four years. He has two half-brothers: Todd (who died August 14, 2007) and McLaurin.
Giuseppe Piero Grillo, better known as Beppe Grillo (born 21 July 1948), is an Italian activist, blogger, comedian and actor. He has been involved in politics since 2009 as leader of the Five Star Movement.
Grillo was born in Genoa, Liguria.
After receiving his degree as an accountant, Grillo became a comedian by chance, improvising a monologue in an audition. Two weeks later he was discovered and launched by Italian TV presenter Pippo Baudo. He subsequently participated in the variety show Secondo Voi for two years (1977–78). Later, in 1979, he participated in Luna Park by Enzo Trapani, and Fantastico.
In the 1980s his success rose further, thanks to shows like Te la do io l'America (1982, 4 episodes) and Te lo do io il Brasile (1984, six episodes). In these shows, he narrated his experiences of his visits to the United States and Brazil, with anecdotes and witticisms about the culture, lifestyle and beauty of these places.
As a result, his popularity grew more and more, and he became the protagonist of another show developed especially for him, called Grillometro (Grillometer). In 1986, he was the star of prize-winning advertisements for a brand of yogurt.

And no matter how many things I have
No one will ever love me your way
No matter what love invades my space
One things for sure
You won't be replaced
Oh oh oh oh singing
If you can't see the tears running down my eyes
I guess I gotta make the sun cry
If you can't see the tears running down my eyes
I guess I gotta make the sun cry
It hurts me just to see your name
And that tattoo runs right through my veins
My sister misses you the same
And it hurts me cuz I know she just can't say it
And what I would give to see your face yea
Where ever you are I pray your safe yea
Forgive me for my selfish ways yea
For I know that you're better off these days yea
Baby I miss you every time it rains
And no matter how bright the sun may shine
It never dries away the pain
Singing oh oh oh oh
Singing oh oh oh oh
And you're written all over me
So much so I can't believe
Your grandchildren are a sight to see
Every day there more of you and less of me
And what a cliché I know you're here
No fear I know you're near
And no matter how manny things I have
No one will ever love me your way
And no matter what love invades my space
One things for sure
You won't be replaced
Baby I miss you every time it rains
And no matter how bright the sun may shine
It will nerver dry away this pain
And I'm singing oh oh oh oh
And I'm singing oh oh oh oh
If you can't see the tears running down my eyes
I guess I gotta make the sun cry
If you can't see the tears running down my eyes
Shit I guess I gotta make the sun cry
Oh yea oh yea...
Oh yea oh yea...
Oh yea oh yea...
Momma I miss you every time it rains
No matter how bright the sun may shine
It will never dry away this pain
And I'm singing oh
And I'm singing oh oh oh oh
And I'm singing oh
Injall toujours toujours toxique
Rock refuse l'inconscient
Injall toujours toujours présent
Il dort en moi, scindé entre le jeu et l'émoi

Be there, two dollars before ten
A short piece of my life.
77 was the year where everything starts (Stop!)
I lived on the top of the street
In a building full of green. Field? Was not that
screen (Scream!)
To call my best friend, I lived on the other side,
TV off, computers on, bye bye
We found outside a club, where boys can be boys,
Like old times, no girls at all
All the time I was in school,
We change our friends, we change our clothes
We kiss the girls because we need to,
It's an ego of a normal boy
But why at that time,
It was strange not to look or act
Like a normal guy,
Songs were made to make me cry,
And we can meet The Smiths at any time of our lives,
'Cause songs will help you every time,
Just try to wake up one day, rewind,
We were only 17, and then
Did you wait for the lonely time
Just to say like a normal guy,
(HI) my bed it's empty,
You want to try?
We grow as normal nature
And we still believe that if we try
THE BAND can save your life
Can be such an easy thing,
Just think the kid you were before
Creep was like a bomb.
Share the songs with the friends,
He will know your thoughts,
He knows your songs,
He brings the light you wish,
It's the cure to yuor lonely time,
He's a Jesus in a genius way.
A lie, at that time it was just a way to put us by the same side,
We were more then 17
At that time a lie means a sacrifice,
Everybody knows why,
But we were only
Again out of time,
I know why we will say good bye,
Everybody knows why
And we were almost 21, and then,
Still you wait for a lonely time,
Just to say to a normal guy? Normal guy?
My bed is empty.
Why at that time
It was just a way to put us by the same side,
'Cause we were more then 17
And then, still you wait till the end,
To say like a normal guy. Goodbye
A lie, at that time it was just a way to put us by the same side,
'Cause we were blood of the same blood, and then,
Did you wait till the end,
To say like a normal guy
Goodbye
And why, why, why, why...
