Plot
An adaptation of one of Elizabeth Bishop's most loved poems, 'In the Waiting Room' tells the story of a six-year-old girl in 1917 who suddenly realizes that she is her own person. Bishop's poem is one of the best expressions of this life-changing experience in the English language.
Plot
Guided by the teachings of nature, a young 'Earth's child' is learning the balance of life. Despite his journey fraught with obstacles, a strong desire to live in communion with nature dwells within him, devoting his life to the creation of a fantastic garden.
An adult is a human being or living organism that is of relatively mature age, typically associated with sexual maturity and the attainment of reproductive age. In human context, the term has other subordinate meanings associated with social and legal concepts; for example, a legal adult is a legal concept for a person who has attained the age of majority and is therefore regarded as independent, self-sufficient, and responsible (contrast with "minor"). Adulthood can be defined in terms of physiology, psychological adult development, law, personal character, or social status.
These different aspects of adulthood are often inconsistent and contradictory. A person may be biologically an adult, and have adult behavior but still be treated as a child if they are under the legal age of majority. Conversely one may legally be an adult but possess none of the maturity and responsibility that may define adult character.
An event relating to the oncoming of adulthood is Coming of age, which encompasses passing a series of tests to demonstrate that a person is prepared for adulthood, or reaching a specified age, sometimes in conjunction with demonstrating preparation. Most modern societies determine legal adulthood based on reaching a legally specified age without requiring a demonstration of physical maturity or preparation for adulthood.

John Paul Cusack (born June 28, 1966) is an American actor, producer and screenwriter. He has appeared in more than 50 films, including The Journey of Natty Gann, Say Anything..., Grosse Pointe Blank, The Thin Red Line, Con Air, Being John Malkovich, and 1408.
Cusack was born in Evanston, Illinois, to an Irish-American Catholic family. His mother, Ann Paula "Nancy" (née Carolan), is a former mathematics teacher and political activist. His father, Dick Cusack (1925–2003), was an actor, as are his siblings, Ann, Joan, Bill, and Susie. Cusack made a cameo in the 1988 music video for "Trip At The Brain" by Suicidal Tendencies. In 1989 he starred as Lloyd Dobler in Cameron Crowe's Say Anything.... His roles broadened in the late 1980s and early 1990s with more serious-minded fare such as the politically themed True Colors and the film noir thriller The Grifters. He was later offered the role of the title character of Fred in the film Drop Dead Fred, but dropped out due to a death in his family.
Sister Wives is an American reality television series broadcast on TLC which started in 2010. The show documents the life of a polygamist family, which includes patriarch Kody Brown, his four wives and their 17 children. The family began the series living in Lehi, Utah, but has since moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. The seven-episode first season ran from September 26 to October 17, 2010, and drew strong ratings according to Nielsen Media Research. Season two of Sister Wives began on September 25, 2011. Season three returned on May 13, 2012.
Brown and his wives have claimed they participated with the show to make the public more aware of polygamist families and to combat societal prejudices. Brown has claimed his polygamist arrangement is legal because he is legally married only to one woman, and the other marriages are spiritual unions. Nevertheless, the series led the Brown family to become investigated for possible prosecution.
Young adults find out that they keep coming back
Back to a corner a street a place to be
Where buildings are nothing but holes in the ground
As we get old changing the colors of walls
Breaking from home crossing the bridge
Living outside the gold state seems amiss
Somewhere I saw faces and hands
fighting for space on a clock
It didn't show time being precious as silver and gold
Proving us we're wrong all of us move on
We got for a ride we slow down and die
We have to give up things we love sometimes
That dream about tumbling down a hill in a car
Happened again last night
Turn your back
Catch it, Catch it -Fast
Turn your back
Scratch it, Scratch it - Now
Turn your back
Cut it, Cut it - Out
Turn your back
Shut it, Shut it - Up
Falling forward on your face
Do you ever feel misplaced
You can't find it cuz you lost it
You can't see it cuz you crossed it
All these words,
They sound the same
In the end a losing game
Slowing up and speeding down
I'm out of time, I'm out of tune
Parking lots filled with cars
Sirens ringing in your ears
Get the point get out of here
Turn your back, Heart attack
You sleep in a house,
With built in stairs
You're a corporate champion,
But no one cares
Tie your shoes so you don't trip
I can't go out, I think I'm sick
The clock stopped ticking long ago
I read it in the paper don't you know
Could've been me
Could've been you
Ne ne ne Ne ne ne
Tapping tables in four ways
Obstructing habits with your gaze
Might as well slip away
pause, keep thinking
What's going on, deliberately sinking
A sign is a sign as I wait and I wait -I wait
Stay away for as long as you like
Since I just can't decide, and I just don't like
Too much contact
Can make you
Too much contact
Way too much contact
Can make you ill
Wait, wait, wait, wait
No matter what I know this means something
I'm at my best, when I obsess
A little bit of pain can go a long way
Still I wait and I wait and I wait -I wait
I'd say "Wish you were here"
But then again
Talking through coughs
The passion of forgetting names.
It's all the same.
I drew a blank, it's my mistake.
The passion of forgetting names.
The decline of guessing games.
It's such a shame,
If you don't know,
Ask your mother.
The end of guessing games.
Shake your head
Try and pretend
Shake your head
Drag a red herring 'cross the trail
Singing songs, telling tales
This is how, they prevail
Meek as a lamb, gentle as a flower
Where have they gone? Did they take your daughter?
Joyous laughs, with open arms
This is how the weak are worn
Supply and demand take more and more
Lost in a pack hysteria
Well behaved, with nice manners
This is how they pick the right one
Wrong directions with unhappy endings

Yes, there's safety in your herd, but what if it's mad?
A mad mad mad mad man might say...
"Just follow me down, down to doomsday
We'll walk in the grass and swim in the lake
and then it'll be time to test your faith."
Herd me

You follow him around like he's wearing gold shoes
Blind, blind, blind just leading the blind
Gonna get in line for recruiting time
Rope you up, throw out your mind
It doesn't hurt, it's just divine

Helen Bach, it was all in my head
But then you left me, guess it makes sense
Since we never agree (we never agree)
Unspoken notions shouldn't be said
Helen Bach, makes me cheer in delight
Lurking by the window waiting for a good fright
Don't return the calls, I don't mind at all
It's time for celebration
Helen Bach, you're so bad
Helen Bach, you drive me mad
Helen Bach, stranglehold
Helen Bach, you never grow old
Helen Bach, it's an easy switch
Her shape shifts with every twist
An invitation to get rich
Burn out late in an empty ditch
Helen Bach, it was all a bad dream
The choices we make aren't as big as they seem
Casing the streets, looking for you
Good deeds, nice smiles
A pack mentality
Sweltering, smothering
So very disappointing
Good deeds, your good good deeds
They're smothering, smothering me
Lock all the doors and all the windows
The pack is a comin', the pack is coming
Bringing some smiles and some very good deeds
Dearest, dearest, dearest, dearest friend of mine
I have nearly died three times since morning
And I'm quite perplexed on what to do
I feel worse when I'm with you
I feel worse when I'm with you
I feel worse when I'm with you
I can't breathe
I can't sleep
I can't speak
I can't see
I can't walk
I can't talk
I can't think
I can't...
It started as a panic, a slight disorder
Cold sweats, hot sweats, doesn't really matter
I had died and then I realized, it was you
I feel worse when I'm with you
I feel worse when I'm with you
I feel worse when I'm with you
I can't breathe
I can't sleep
I can't speak
I can't see
I can't walk
I can't talk
I can't think
I can't...
I can't stop
I can't stand
I can't sit
I can't rest
I can't hide
I can't lie
I can't decide
I can't...
I feel worse when I'm with you
I feel worse when I'm with you
I feel worse when I'm with you
I feel worse when I'm with you
I feel worse when I'm with you
It's my premonition, with all your conditions
Mind your own, stay at home
See that bad omen looming above?
Remember - You don't worry enough
Flushed in red, won't move an inch
Nothing is harmless
You got it hard, and you got it rough
But you still don't worry enough
I'm just suggesting
Something undesirable is likely to happen
It shall come
It shall come
Worry, worry
It shall come
It shall come
Hurry, hurry
All this apprehension is causing too much tension
Just lay down, face down
You're so easy to push around
Perplexity is winning, uncertainty surrounds
I'll be precise, as much as I can
It may be hard to understand
Don't pay attention, take my advice
Just remember - You don't worry enough
I'm just suggesting
Something undesirable is likely to happen
It shall come
It shall come
Worry, worry
It shall come
It shall come

In self-deception

Being so complacent

You're lying to yourself
Not a bad intention

In my nite life I don't think twice,
everything is so nice
Loving in the luxury of the nite life,
everything is alright
Blinding by the headlites,
driving past midnite
Looks like a still life
Give me something cheap,
not enough sleep
Which one do i keep?
You are my nite life
Nite life, brite lite, hold tight,
turn right, turn left, like that
Bright light
In my nite life I don't think twice
everything is so nice
Loving in the luxury of the nite life,
everything is alright
Blinding by the headlights,
driving past midnite
Looks like a still life
Give me something cheap,
not enough sleep
Which one do i keep?
do you know what time it is?
i think i'm on the brink of disaster
lovesick minors at night
lovesick minors at night
love-sick
lovesick minors at night
love-sick
love. love. love.
We coasted to a standstill
Along the coastline,
The modern coastline;
And the wind went by.
Silhouettes:
Two lovers meet
In a one-dimensional space.
Inappropriate
Crash location
In a two-dimensional place.
Love is lost.
Lost is love.
Is love lost?
Lost love.
Fast we drive along the oceanside,
Quick to find that love is blind.
Another circle, another name,
Another landscape defines the frame.
We halted the discovery of our suicide.
We killed the purity of our skin design.
We walked on down
When the wind went by
As the light reflected
In her pale eyes.
Love is lost.
Lost is love.
Is love lost?
Lost love.
Love is lost.
Lost is love.
Is love lost?
Lost love.
Love is lost.
Lost is love.
Is love lost?
Lost love.
Love is lost.
Lost is love.
Is love lost?
At this point in time
You should read between the lines
A kick in the shin
A punch in the chin
Where to begin
It comes from within
Through thick and thin
Nobody wins
It's a dead end
Do you know what I mean?
It's a dead end
Kick in the shin, Kick in the shin
Is that how you say thank you
Kick in the shin, Kick in the shin
Is that how you say you're welcome
Kick in the shin, Kick in the shin
Is that how you say I love you
Kick in the shin, Kick in the shin
Is that how you say...
Oh dear, oh dear, oh me
You make me disgusted to a painful degree
A real life horror / What a scab
Utterly useless / Really revolting
I'm inclined to vomit
I'm inclined to vomit
I'm inclined
I'm inclined
I'm inclined to vomit
Oh dear, oh dear, oh me
Would it be ludicrous for me to think
that you could actually agree?
A real life horror / Completely delusional
Full of ugliness / So repulsive / I'm so disgusted
I'm inclined to vomit
I'm inclined to vomit
I'm inclined
I'm inclined
I'm inclined to vomit
Vomit
Vomit
Vomit
I'm inclined to vomit
I'm inclined to vomit
I'm inclined to vomit
I'm inclined to vomit
Vomit
Vomit
I just can't stop this hesitation
It's getting in the way of the choices I'm making
What am I, I to do?
I'm falling apart, I'm coming unglued
I'm pacing around, like a zombie
I'm shutting my eyes, 'cause I don't want to see
I always say, tomorrow's a new day
Doesn't really matter
When you're going every which way
What am I, I to do?
I'm spinning around, I'm cursing who?
I'm tired of this, and oh so that
I'm throwing out my mind, since it's become flat
Getting in my nerves
And under my skin
I'm just not foreseeing that it will be leaving
Anytime soon
Getting in my nerves
And under my skin
Excess, excess -more and more
Where are your manners -falling on the floor?
Behavior, behavior -you're a life savior
Droolings of a prosy man
Don't you expect to understand?
Vapid, vulgar -just getting older
That's what I'm asking you
I've been trying, I've been trying
To think of why I should care
I've been trying, I've been trying
To think of why I should care
Misguided, mislead
That's what, what's been said
Can't say, can't stay
Looking for a way to get away
From all those things that remind you
Of the things that you can't do
Once is nice, but twice is boring
That's what makes it worth ignoring
I've been trying, I've been trying
To think of why I should care
I would be delighted, but I'm really not excited by politeness
I would be excited, but I'm really not delighted by your niceness
I would be delighted, but I'm really not excited
I looked in the public room
He was reading a book,
With only one page
Asked him his age
Said he was fine
His hearing's not as good as mine
Glue your eyelids together
Your eyelids together
Glue your eyelids together
Your eyelids together
She was a neat piece
Handy with a smack
We were walking front to back
Never the less
She was a mess
A last ditch effort is always the best
Glue your eyelids together
Glue your eyelids together
Your eyelids together
Glue your eyelids together
I saw him once again
He was playing a game,
With only one piece
He bent over to the left
I kicked the table hard
I must confess
Glue your eyelids together
Your eyelids together
Glue your eyelids together
Glue your eyelids together
She throws things out,
She doesn't want people to see
She vacuums it up
It's never enough
Can't take a step without falling down
It's always the same
No one to blame
Together, Together
Glue your eyelids together
Glue your eyelids together
Together, Together
Your eyelids together
Glue your eyelids together
Her position to His position
Forward motion, frame me in
So much insulation, false accusations
If I could
No apologies, excuses
This is just to be expected
As it should
Alterations so implied
These suggestions just annoy
As they should
Double meanings get unnoticed
He says, just stay focused
If you would
Why don't you give me
Give me some trouble
I'm not gonna give you
Give you what you asked for
Second standing, seems inflated
Can't avoid it, can't contain it
Who could?
Too bored and no way around
Can't control suppress it down
Soothing, soothing little wrong
A slanted tale that's passed along
This is the version filled with truth
Disappoint the youth
Niceties to compromise
Never to amuse
Let's quietly make fun
And disappoint the youth
Aversion to the truth
Soothing, soothing little wrong
These scattered trails we twist among
Can only soothe so long
Till we disappoint the youth
Soothing, soothing little wrong
A slanted tale, what's wasted on
Is wasted all along
Disappoint the youth
Disappoint the youth, disappoint the youth
I'm coming to get you
I'm coming to find you
Say 'hello' to your new best friend
Blank eyed, nose bleed
Blank eyed, nose bleed
Wouldn't it be nice to go to a party
And be the only one there
Blank eyed, nose bleed
Blank eyed, nose bleed
I've been working on increasing my anxiety
It's something I can do for free
Blank eyed, nose bleed
Blank eyed, nose bleed
Seconds moving forward
Second moving backward
Seconds moving forward
Seconds
Seconds moving forward
Second moving backward
Seconds moving forward
The conversation
Of a conceited bore
Is usually over before its done
We know how to have fun
We know how to have fun
I say sure, why not
Let's have a conversation
You won't find me laughing
Oh, we're having fun
Predictions are in, nonsense seems to win
The air can get so tense when directions make no sense
Common sense is then and not so common anyway
Could have figured it out right then
Don't speak another
It's just ringing off the hook, always telling the same story twice
Cover it up by being so nice
Just this once
Wishing for the worst, wouldn't be the first time
You've given me a
Bad idea
Lock into the same, piggyback the name
Leeching on, reaching in
It's just too easy to be so accident-prone
Should figured it out right then
You gave me ideas, bad ideas
Ideas I had never had before
I had never had bad ideas like this before
My ideas weren't like this
Do you know what it's like to have ideas like this?
