Land Force Western Area (LFWA) is one of four operational commands of the Canadian Army. LFWA is responsible for all Canadian Army administration and operations in western Canada from the Pacific Ocean to Thunder Bay, Ontario. LFWA is headquartered at CFB Edmonton in Edmonton, Alberta.

LFWA comprises three Reserve Force Brigade Groups, one Regular Force Mechanized Brigade Group, one Area Support Group, Western Area Training Centre and CFB Suffield. There are more than 6,000 regular force and 5,700 reserve force members, and 1,200 civilian employees under Land Force Western Area's command.

The current commanding Officer of Land Force Western Area is Brigadier-General P.F. Wynnyk, OMM, CD

Commanders of Land Force Western Area also act as the Commander of Joint Task Force West, which coincides with Canada Command (CANADACOM).

Land Force Western Area has four Brigade Groups (one Regular Force and threeReserve Force), and an Area Support Group.

There are also five units that are under direct command of Land Force Western Area that do not operate under the four brigade groups and the one area support group. They are:

Cara Delevingne (born 22 August 1992) is a British model and socialite.

Delevingne is currently the face of Burberry's Spring Summer 2012 campaign alongside actor Eddie Redmayne, shot by Mario Testino. Delevingne was also featured in the brand's Spring Summer 2011 and Burberry Beauty campaigns.

She was recently described by British Vogue as the "star face" of the autumn/winter 2012-2013 show season, having walked the runway for brands such as Shiatzy Chen, Jason Wu, Oscar de la Renta, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Stella McCartney and Chanel.

Kate Moss (born 16 January 1974) is an English model who is known for her waifish figure and popularising the heroin chic look in the 1990s. She is also known for her controversial private life, high profile relationships, party lifestyle, and drug use. Moss changed the look of modelling and started a global debate on eating disorders, and her role in size zero fashion. In 2007, she came 2nd on the Forbes top-earning models list, estimated to have earned $9 million in one year.

Moss was born in Addiscombe, Croydon, London to Linda Rosina (Shepherd), a barmaid, and Peter Edward Moss, a travel agent. Kate has a younger brother named Nick and a half-sister named Lottie (Charlotte) and half-brother. Moss' parents divorced when she was 13. She attended Ridgeway Primary School and Riddlesdown Collegiate, but most commonly known as Riddlesdown High School, in Purley. She was not noted for her academic success but she did excel at sport.

Daisy Rebecca Lowe (born 27 January 1989) is an English fashion model who has modelled for editorial photo shoots and commercial advertising campaigns and has worked as a runway model. She is the daughter of Pearl Lowe, the singer-songwriter turned textile and fashion designer, and Gavin Rossdale, lead singer for Bush.

Lowe began modelling at the age of two, and did some photoshoots when she was 12 and 14 years old. At 15 she was approached by a talent scout in Camden Town and, as a result, she signed with Select, a London modelling agency.

In February 2006, Lowe was featured in Italian Vogue, shot by New York photographer Steven Klein, who also shot her in March 2007 for a W magazine pictorial called "Xurbia". In September 2006, Lowe modelled for the Urban Outfitters catalogue, appeared in French Connection printed advertisements and was profiled in British Harper’s Bazaar. She was featured in an editorial in Jane magazine alongside fellow model Lydia Hearst-Shaw in March 2007, appeared in Italian Vogue for the second time in May, and in August, posed nude on the cover of i-D magazine with her then-partner, Will Cameron of the band Blondelle, photographed by Terry Richardson. She again shot for Italian Vogue in 2009 at Bancroft's School in a shoot by Miles Aldridge.

Alana Zimmer is a Canadian model.

Alana was born in Kitchener, Ontario on June 9, 1987. She has brown hair and blue eyes and a height of 5 feet and 11 inches.

She was discovered by a friend of a Milan modeling scout while working at East Side Mario's. She was named a face to watch by WWD, and was featured on Style.com's Top Ten models of Spring 2007. Louisa Models, Storm Models, Supreme, are just some of the agencies that have signed her. She walked in the Spring/Summer 2007 fashion show for Jil Sander, John Galliano, Pringle of Scotland and other top designers. Alana has also been in several Haute Couture shows, that include such designers as: Chanel, Givenchy, Valentino Christian Dior, and Giorgio Armani She has also done advertisements for Moschino, Missoni, Marc Jacobs, Jean Paul Gaultier, DKNY. and Akris. She was on the cover of Russian Vogue in November 2008. Zimmer appeared in an editorial in the March 2011 issue of W, photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. Zimmer recently featured in the 2012 Winter Campaign of Australian fashion designer Cue.
