Sport Lisboa e Benfica (Portuguese pronunciation: [spɔɾ liʒˈboɐ i bɐ̃ȷ̃ˈfikɐ]; Euronext: SLBEN), commonly known as simply Benfica or SLB, is a Portuguese multi-sports club based in Lisbon, Portugal. Although Benfica successfully competes in a number of different sports, it is mostly known for its football team.

Founded on 28 February 1904, at a meeting in Farmácia Franco involving 24 men led by Cosme Damião, Sport Lisboa e Benfica (originally known as Grupo Sport Lisboa) is one of the Três Grandes (Big Three) football clubs in Portugal, with Sporting and FC Porto being the other two clubs, Benfica's biggest rivals. Benfica has more than 14 million fans and holds the Guinness World Record for the football club in the world with most members. It is the most popular Portuguese club in the world and its supporters are often called Benfiquistas.

Benfica is the most successful football club in Portuguese competitions, with 67 titles, and the second most successful Portuguese club overall, with 70 titles.

Artur Guilherme Moraes Gusmão or simply Artur (born 25 January 1981), is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. He currently plays for Benfica. After a good display in the first half of the 2011-2012 season, he has been nicknamed by Benfica fans Rei Artur (King Arthur).

Artur started his career at Paulista. In 2003 he was loaned to Cruzeiro, who signed him in definitive in 2004. He was on loan to Coritiba for the 2006 and 2007 season. He was the first choice keeper in 2006 season, ahead Kleber and Rodrigo. But in 2007 season Édson Bastos became the first choice.

Artur signed a two year contact with Siena on 4 January 2008 after his contract with Cruzeiro had expired. On 30 January, he was loaned to Cesena.

On 25 June 2008, Artur completed a transfer to Roma from Siena along with his team mate Simone Loria in an exchange deal which saw Roma goalkeeper Gianluca Curci move to Siena in a co-ownership deal and Roma midfielder Ahmed Barusso move on loan to the Tuscan based club. Daniele Galloppa, owned by both Roma & Siena, also became a Siena player to all effects as part of the deal. He made his unofficial debut in the first pre-season friendly of Roma, when they suffered a 3–1 defeat to Steaua Bucharest.

Islam Slimani (born June 18, 1988) is an Algerian football player. He is currently playing for CR Belouizdad in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1.

On May 17, 2009, Slimani signed a two year contract with CR Belouizdad, joining them on a transfer from JSM Chéraga. The price of the transfer was 800,000 Algerian dinars.

On May 17, 2011, Slimani scored four goals in a league game against JS Kabylie, leading CR Belouizdad to an impressive 7-1 win.

In October 29, 2009, Slimani was called up for the first time to the Algerian A' National Team for a week long training camp in Algiers.

On March 9, 2010, Slimani was called up again by Abdelhak Benchikha to the Algerian A' National Team, this time for a 2011 African Nations Championship qualifier against Libya. Slimani was called up to replace his injured CR Belouizdad teammate Youcef Saïbi. However, Slimani did not play in the game as Algeria won 1-0.

On May 12, 2012, Slimani was called up for the first time to the Algeria national team for the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Rwanda, and the return leg of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Gambia.

Bryan Cristante (born 3 March 1995) is an Italian-Canadian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Serie A club Milan.

Cristante started his footballing career with amateur side Liventina Gorghense, before joining Milan's youth system in 2009. He made his official debut for the club on 6 December 2011, coming on as a substitute for Robinho in a UEFA Champions League group stage match against Viktoria Plzeň, which ended in a 2–2 draw.
