Supergirl TV series in the works from Arrow creator Greg Berlanti

A Supergirl TV series is in the works.
Co-creator of Arrow Greg Berlanti is behind the new show focusing on the character, a cousin of the Man of Steel in the DC Comics orbit, Deadline reports.
Berlanti is reportedly planning a new take on Supergirl, with help from a writer who worked with him on 2010 ABC drama No Ordinary Family, Ali Adler.
The project is still in early development and is yet to be presented to networks.
Berlanti is also behind upcoming Peter Pan movie Pan, The CW's Arrow and upcoming series The Flash along with Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim.
Berlanti recently spoke to Digital Spy about the similarities between Pan and Arrow.
