Manfreddi tenía un hijo
retardado mental.
Era viudo y mantenía
a su suegra y su mamá:
Y cuando llegaba la hora de almorzar
salía de trabajar
cuando se encontaba meta cocinar
las viejas solían gritar:
'Danos de comer'
Ay, ay ,ay, ay.
'Que ya son la una'
Ay, ay ,ay, ay.
'Venime a cambiar'
Ay, ay ,ay, ay.
'Que ya me hice encima'
Ay, ay ,ay, ay.
Manfreddi vivía ahorrando
para poder vivir.
Se pudo comprar la casa
un mes antes de morir.
Cuando agonizaba en el hospital
el cura le vino a rezar
y por los pasillos bailan enfermeras
al ritmo del sermón final.
Ten piedad señor
Ay, ay ,ay, ay.
De este pobre idiota
Ay, ay ,ay, ay
Derrama tu amor
Ay, ay ,ay, ay
Sobre este tarado
Ay, ay ,ay, ay
El dios de los infelices
no lo dejó entrar
pues ya tenía albergado
a más de medio Uruguay.
Y después de un largo y duro deambular
al infierno fue a parar,
luego de una espera frente al gran portal,
abrieron y pudo pasar.
Apenas entró
Ay, ay ,ay, ay.
Ya se lo clavaron.
Ay, ay ,ay, ay.
Pero le gustó.
Ay, ay ,ay, ay.
Así que lo echaron.
Ay, ay ,ay, ay.
