Plot
This is the story of the beautiful young Pervirella. Set in the mythical English land of Condon, the grotesque, power-mad Queen Victoria builds a wall around the country and establishes a "Monarchy of Terror." Intellectuals and "pervs" are prosecuted and killed, or driven underground to form the "Cult of Perv." Their leader, the Demon Nanny gives birth to a possible savior, then dies. The infant Pervirella grows to maturity with supernatural speed and shows amazing abilities, including raging nymphomania whenever her magical necklace is removed. Pervirella is sought by various rebels, agents of Victoria, the Cult of Perv, and a trio of witches. Eventually she teams up with Amicus Reilly, a James Bond spoof played to stiff, campy perfection by the late David Warbeck. Wild adventures ensue!

A business (also known as enterprise or firm) is an organization engaged in the trade of goods, services, or both to consumers. Businesses are predominant in capitalist economies, where most of them are privately owned and administered to earn profit to increase the wealth of their owners. Businesses may also be not-for-profit or state-owned. A business owned by multiple individuals may be referred to as a company, although that term also has a more precise meaning.
The etymology of "business" relates to the state of being busy either as an individual or society as a whole, doing commercially viable and profitable work. The term "business" has at least three usages, depending on the scope — the singular usage to mean a particular organization; the generalized usage to refer to a particular market sector, "the music business" and compound forms such as agribusiness; and the broadest meaning, which encompasses all activity by the community of suppliers of goods and services. However, the exact definition of business, like much else in the philosophy of business, is a matter of debate and complexity of meanings.
Dawn Sherrese Robinson (November 28, 1968,New London, Connecticut) is an American R&B/soul/Dance-pop singer best known for her work as the youngest member of hit Urban/Dance-pop group, En Vogue.
Robinson was born in New London, Connecticut. Following her departure from En Vogue in 1997, Robinson joined Lucy Pearl to record the only Lucy Pearl album released to date. After touring with Lucy Pearl, Dawn claimed she found out she was out of the group upon seeing the groups final video. The song featured Robinson's vocals but with new member Joi lip syncing Robinson's part. Robinson was then signed with Dr. Dre's Aftermath Records, and gave guest vocals on The Firm's hit song "Firm Biz" which sampled Teena Marie's classic single "Square Biz." After appearing on a few soundtracks, Robinson released a solo album entitled Dawn, released by Atlantic Records on 29 January 2002. The single "Envious" received moderate airplay on radio and video outlets. According to Sister2Sister magazine, Robinson said the album "tanked" due to "poor promotion." In 2005, Robinson returned sporadically to En Vogue who toured nationally while attempting to negotiate a new recording contract with The Firm Management for the original En Vogue. 2009 Robinson recorded and released two new songs made available on her official MySpace page, "Johnny Walker Get Up Again" and "I Like Boyz." 2010, all four members appeared on the cover of Jet magazine to promote their reunion tour, yet again failed to reach an agreement, and Robinson decided not to record on the new En Vogue album due in the fall of 2011, but has reached an agreement to continue touring with the group in 2012.
I've been reading what they say in the news
Hoping that I hear back from you
I wrote you this letter of explanation
A look at things from my point of view
It's a matter of supply and demand
Field research and capital gains
Success is just a product of sex and money
I've got the looks; they've got the brains
It's a necessary part of the job
Get maybe just a little involved
But most of our dealings were strictly business
I just wanted to know
If' you're okay and it's all right
Everybody's talking about
Who's with who and who's making out
Wouldn't we be better off making music
Instead of all this sleeping around?
'Cause everyone here has a mistress
It's such a dirty business
If we put our heads together
The songs will live forever
I gotta get out of this hell-hole
I'm packing my things and I'm coming home
You're okay and it's alright
You're okay, is this alright,
if I put my hand on your thigh?
There's nobody else
But I swear I heard somebody
I'm all by myself
I must have been hearing the tv
'Cause I need to know if you love me
I need to know if you love me
Everyone knows what they're doing to you
I'll be alright I just gotta be true
True to myself
It was three years ago
When she began to stand on her own
She turned her back on everything
And now she's alone
I try to talk to her but she is not the same
It's been so long since she could recall her name
And I cried when I heard what had happened to her
In her eyes I see the pain, I see the loss
I see the shame but I cant help her now
Yesterday she ran away
Packed her bags and caught a train
Said it all was going down the drain
The words I spoke were said in haste
Before I could appreciate
That now our lives will never be the same
One last chance to slide away
Into the darkness of her shame
She looks and sees there's no one left to blame
I wish I had another day to look into your pretty face
You broke the news without preamble, it won't be too long before your gone
so give me time to think it through so this is it you're moving on
Maybe its the best thing for you maybe its the hardest way
to stop these things we've set in motion it seems forever yesterday
This must be love for you to give this up.
I know how hard this must be for you.
If this is the way, how it's gotta be
You will get no arguments from me
You'll leave the band to be a man so time wont pass you by
you'll find a wife and start a life I hope things turn out right for you
Somewhere in the world there is a better place for you and her to be
I hope you find what you've been looking for I hope you're both happy and
content I'll miss you my friend this is your decision in the end
I envy you you will live a life maybe you can live a life for me
You'll leave the band to be a man so time wont pass you by
you'll find a wife and start a life I hope things turn out right for you
Now running away don't want the day to come the years ran by so fast how
could you leave why cant you stay why can a beautiful thing last?
Standing around hearing no sounds hoping the worst of it has past
why cant you stay just one more day why can't a beautiful thing last?
You'll leave the band to be a man so time wont pass you by
you'll find a wife and start a life I hope things turn out right for you
And maybe in a couple of years I will get a call from you
So you try to get it right but you don't know what to do
when the answers won't find you look for them instead
if there ever is a chance that you'll be a reformed man, you could be the
one to choose or this could be the end.
Here we are a cold december night
we share our problems in the balcony light
you wanna leave and I can't stand another minute here
while your world disintegrates it's clear
that you could be something great I fear
that you gave it all away today
So you travel to the ends of the earth to find yourself
some day virtue will find you, hasn't hit you yet
ignorance with confidence is a sad transparent ruse
you could be the one to lose or this could be the end
Here we are a cold december night
we share our problems in the balcony light
you wanna leave and I can't stand another minute here
while your world disintegrates it's clear
that you could be something great I fear
that you gave it all away this year
Is there anybody here that wants to rock?
I was hoping that your answer would be so.
Should I believe your voyueristic eyes.
If the artist is good looking we can rasie the price
Refused, where is your promised future shape?
At this point in the concert, I can hardly stay awake.
Cause I believe that anyone can change.
I'm just holding on and hoping that they'll act their age.
So take your time, don't ask for more
With all we have, we all learn to ignore
As the heart and soul of music dies
It looks alive you know
Cause everyone wants a place to go
Everyone wants a smile you know
(Flickering on the late night show
Filtering on the radio [x2])
So take your time, don't ask for more
With all we have, I'd rather be ignored
Am I alive? Hello Hello
A girl and a boy are so in love
So in love; but it's not enough
Now I'm checking out of here
The first time I cried, you see, it was beautiful
I thought that I had a dream; it was beautiful
There's always one more line that rewrites everything
Off-centered word games in a maze of confusion
I can tell you think you've got something to say
Profoundly moving but you can't show the way out
I don't know why, you're stuck inside, that web of lies
Has got you leading while you're blind
And you try so hard to speak
But there's no one listening
And you try so hard
To make a point to the world
Til there's nothing left to say
And there's no inventive way
But to scream it loud and strong
So far they'll buy into almost anything you say
Verse one and two paints a complete illusion
One thought too many, and the wrong way may seem right
The trip started well, they packed up their bags and packed into the cars
Made the six hour drive to wrap up the year with friends that they love.
That's when everyone tries to be someone else.
I say, what's so bad about being yourself?
they'll send their innocence away until a rainy day or when their caught.
And maybe in a couple years they'll understand the truth they forgot.
Then the hour approached the good kids turned bad the bad kids turned worse
They'd like chaos to rule cause no one feels guilt when mayhem ensues
that's when everyone tries to be someone else.
I say, what's so bad about being yourself?
They'll send their innocence away until a rainy day or when their caught.
And maybe in a couple years they'll understand the truth they forgot.
I can't believe that this is true.
What did you think that this would make you cool?
and while you're living in excess
all the anthems you profess you don't possess.
Everyone tries to be someone else,
what's so bad about being yourself?
They'll send their innocence away until a rainy day or when their caught.
Do you remember long ago when we had no will to know about the evils of the world and ignorance was bliss
did we forget about those years, have we given into fear, oh I wish I wasn't here
cause everything has changed now
Life was so simple it's insane now,
I wish I could step off the train now,
My memories begin to fade out, but I won't let them go
Take me home I never wanted to get old like this
Take me back unto my younger days of innocence.
And the war that rages on wouldn't callous us at all
we weren't frightened by the threat of nuclear attack
and we didn't have to care about government affairs and I wish I still was there
cause everything has changed now
Life was so simple it's insane now, I wish I could step off the train now,
My memories begin to fade out, but I won't let them go
Take me home I never wanted to get old like this,
Take me back unto my younger days of innocence.
Tonight I became what I hate
I lost my youth and I don't like things this way
On the edge everyone feels the same
things were better in our more innocent days
and I wish they'd stayed the same. [2x]
Take me home I never wanted to get old like this
Can I get a friend, will I ever make amends
In spite of all the rules I bend
And the fact I never lend you my money or my heart
Cause I'm too state-of-the-art
All my answers fall apart don't you know
So I stand around and look my best
But no one cares to see
And I know that no one cares unless
There's nothing else to see
I can see in your eyes that your happiness lies
In your no compromise way of seeing things
Cause today I've found
That we will always see things differently
We never agree but it'd be much more easy
If we both would try to meet in the median
It's all just the same, it's all one vicious game
That I'm caught up inside and I don't know why
So I stand around and look my best
But no one cares to see
And I know that no one cares unless
They're watching N.B.C.
I can see in your eyes that your happiness lies
In your no compromise way of seeing things
And I'm sorry that I was the source of the problem
Please accept my humble apologies
Cause today I've found
Don't waste your innocence on tigers
You know that I can be alone, baby doll
Do you remember the times that we had?
And the years rolled by
And disappeared
And now the boys of yesterday are haunting you
They spread their lies all over town
And it's alright if you want to tell me off
And it's alright if you want to leave
I don't care
Do you remember the fight that we had
And it broke my heart to see you cry
Everybody's telling me I should stay clear
They don't care and
The world is a sad place to live
Is there somewhere else we can go?
Lately I don't feel anything
Anything in regards to you
'Cause I'm not ready for everything
All the love that you posses
Could relinquish bitterness
And the warm hand that I hold
Will protect me from the cold
Your simple take on life
Could change the world's design
Your optimistic plan
Could heal my soul again.
All the joy you have inside
Turns my clouds into blue skies
And the sun is shining bright,
You make my world so right.
[Chorus:]
We came without a care,
But somewhere things went wrong.
We came without a care,
I'm right where I belong with you.
Smile on your face
Could easily replace
The emptiness beneath
Help me to believe:
Vision for the blind,
Broken wings can fly.
I wish you'd never leave,
Love death cannot keep.
All the solace that you give
Helps me keep my will to live.
And I'm glad to stay alive
In this world you've made right.
We came without a care,
But somewhere things went wrong.
We came without a care,
I'm right where I belong with you.
Smile on your face
Could easily replace
The emptiness beneath
Help me to believe
Vision for the blind
Broken wings can fly
Love will never die
So we should never cry.
You stepped into my soul,
You won't leave me alone
You carried me along
Do rock and roll dreams come true?
I'll share the tale with you
A good-hearted scientist
Will be our protagonist
A gale force wind drives the mill
Electroscopes ignite
The lab is bathed in light
Don't be afraid dear, this won't hurt a bit
[Chorus:]
Do your plastic eyes
See the longing hidden deep in mine?
Do you feel the same, or nothing at all?
Am I just a stupid optimistic guy falling for games?
Researching through the night
DNA code by candlelight
Careful laid plans for love
Backfire, I'll be undone
A circuit board for a brain
An artificial heart
A corpse for extra parts
Believe me now this hurts me more than you
[Chorus]
Don't ask who I am
I am a friend
Don't be afraid
Don't get too attached
Try to relax
Just play it safe
You're so beautiful tonight
You could be my only sunshine
But you don't care for guys
With forever on their minds
Open up and take a bite from the apple of my eye
You'll be stringing me along
I'll be writing you love songs
It's wrong, everything's wrong again
And I don't want this to end
The consequences could escalate
Singing my soft serenade
Cuz there might be hell to pay
Making his plans Friday night
He'd love to hang out but he'd rather touch lives.
If you wanna come you're welcome to see what its like.
I already made plans tonight
you know that I would if conditions were right
cause I'm to afraid, I've got nothin' to say
and Nobody listens it turns them away
from the truth
At least I think
that's my sorry excuse
cause I'd rather check out Movies 10.
And waste an hour or two, I wish
I had some motivation.
Go light the world
If you believe the truth then it will never be shaken.
You're same as me
I don't want anything but to see the challenge taken.
No I can't go Friday night.
Why don't you leave your thorn in my side
Cause I'm to afraid, I've got nothing to say
And Nobody listens it turns them away
from the truth
At least I think
that's my sorry excuse
cause I'd rather check out Movies 10.
And waste an hour or two, I wish
I had some motivation.
Go light the world
If you believe the truth then it will never be shaken.
You're same as me
I don't want anything but to see the challenge taken.
Now you've gone away from me
Cause I lied one too many times,
about the thing that meant the most to you.
Cause I lied one too many times
about the thing that meant the most
to youI never meant to hurt
your feelings I never meant to
hurt you I never meant to hurt you
I never meant to hurt you
And I can't afford to lose you now
I wish I could be someone else
Some one who would try to be
the only one to help you out
and never ever let you down
I wish that I could be that guy.
Go light the world
If you believe the truth it will never be shaken.
You're the same as me
He sees his friends are going down he don't know what to say
to make them change their point of view to make them turn around.
He remembers better days when what they felt was what they'd say.
He sees his enemies used to be his friends.
What can I say to him, I feel like I have let him down
He used to look up to me now he only looks away .
Maybe I'm better off alone, maybe I'll sit around and spend my time on the phone
Maybe he's right, maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'll write another song?
I'll sit idly by and I'll wait for things to change on their own but they always stay the same
& I'll sit back and I'll deny that I never even tried to make a difference in what I chose to say.
Four days ago I got a call from him he told me what was on his mind
the way he felt was that my focus changed?
What do you want from me? Can I change my counterparts? Maybe their to blind to see maybe I'm afraid.
Now is the time to make things right
I'm tired of running round I'm tired of living a lie.
Maybe he's right, maybe I'm wrong,Maybe I'll write another song?
I sit idly by and I'll wait for things to change on their own
but they always stay the same.
But I'll sit back and I'll deny I ever even tried to make a difference in what I chose to say.
My problems began when I said to a friend.
Your opinions don't matter to me
Well it's not that I'm meant it I only resented
That you're always right about me,
that your always right about me.
He wakes up in the middle of the night
Reach the phone and tells me something isn't right
I answer and I tell him I have no idea It wasn't me I never left your sight.
I swear that I have been wrongfully charged. It seems like such a small
things to tear friends apart
Adam and I thought that we could have a good time
Figured that you probably wouldn't mind
Peter I am sorry I stole your Nintendo
It was the only thing I ever loved.
If you met me would you say "hi" to me?
Or would you believe if I said that I was wrong
It was the worst thing I have ever done.
How deep is the wound
how long is this avenue?
For the crime I wish I could undue.
Adam and I snuck into your house
He told your mom that he left his jacket down
stairs he led me in the back door I snuck around
then we made away without a sound
Send me a letter
write me a postcard
give me a reason so I can be sure
If you left me would you say "bye" to me?
Then as we made our get away in Adam's four door chevrolet we knew you'd find out somedays
And yes, what we did was very wrong
To you the system did belong
But you acted so withdrawn,
I don't know why, I don't understand
And so would you believe I never had a clue?
Something so trite would be misconstrued.
How deep is the wound
how long is this avenue?
For the crime I wish I could undue.
Would you believe if I said that I was wrong
It was the worst thing I have ever done.
How deep is the wound
how long is this avenue?
I've loved you for all my life
When I'm with you I feel alright
I love the way you love me so
You're the nicest girl I know
I can't resist your irresistible ways
You always seem to be the one
Who's got the steering wheel
And I'm in the passenger seat
I can't deny your lovely eyes
They always seem to mesmerize
And you are really clean
Your hair is soft, your skin's snow white
Like a clouded day, like the stars at night
Your eyes are blue like the sky in june
My love is true that's why I wrote this song for you
All I ever wanted was to see your face again
I love the way you fix your hair
You wipe my face when I've got crumbs on my lip
And you just smile and let it go
You fix my tie when its cockeyed
Wear turtlenecks in the summertime
I like you even so
I've prayed for you for all my life
When I'm with you I feel alright
I just might be in love with you
You're the nicest girl I know
I love the way you love me so
I wanna stay with you
But I don't understand your words
I try to listen well, I try to comprehend
I know you but do you know I care
Do you call me friend?
All I ever wanted was to see your face again because
I can't survive without you near
I'm still around but you're not here
One glimpse of you would dry my tears
Access denial, it's a vicious cycle
Sometimes he's not so sure if this is life or survival
He's caught in a rat race, his jail is his workplace
He runs around in circles but he's standing in one place
Mark my words the sun will shine again
You'll see the light this time tomorrow
When will you learn, it's not worth giving in
Just thought that you'd like to know
She wakes with a headache, she carries a keepsake
She wishes she could turn back now, but fears it is too late
It's all so confusing, she's tired of losing
All she wants is love but everyone's disapproving
Sometime my heart is cold, sometimes my eyes are blind
My world is filled with lies that clutter up my mind
Sometimes my heart is cold sometimes my eyes are blind
But jesus gives me hope, he opens up my mind
Lukewarm and complacent our faith's in the basement
One down and two to go but all that time has been wasted
We're losing our first love, now push has come to shove
Our minds are stuck on things below and not things above
Mark my words and mark your calendars
You'll see the light this time tomorrow
When will you learn, your prayers are being heard
Sometimes i don't know why I'm always chasing
Fortune and fame and you, open your eyes
You'll see my disguise, you might find you have one too
I am not the one who believes in the tragedy of wrong or right
Just an empty day in the life of a man who's never won a fight
I know I'm alive for the first time in years
I can turn and face my fears
I hope that you will see your time will come and you'll find
From these bonds you've been set free
Don't look at me now I'm afraid to be understood by
Anyone everyone looks up to and respects
By the standards of the world
By the standards of the month
I can see how you can get away
You think that you will never be afraid
But if you're not sure
If you can live without your blanket
You wake up in the morning light
The sunlight hurts your blurry eyes
You're waiting for an overdue surprise
Sixteen-year-old sex sells to a middle aged man
In a board room, makes big decisions
He says, "it's good business this voice of an angel
To put her on TV"
And they turn on the radio
And you're in our blood but your sales are slow
We'll need you take off your clothes for the good of the record
It helps if you say it's in the name of art
It's a stake that we make for the sake of art
So let's get physical
I feel like it's artistic
And the men with the cameras look deep in her soul
And they capture emotion on video
"It'd work a bit better if we could see
A little more leg"
It helps if you say it's in the name of art
It's a stake that we make for the sake of art
So let's get physical
Let's get physical
I feel like it's artistic
I feel like it's all right
He loosens his belt, saying "One more time,
'cause every great thing takes a sacrifice."
[Christina Aguilera: {continued from Christina2 above}] I'm just being who I am and I'm happy with it. My family is proud of me for doing what I do, and it's just kind of funny just because it's like, God I'm really getting under your skin.
Run away as fast as you can
I think you ought to know
That you have the most beautiful voice in the world
Run away as fast as you can
'Cause all you need is love
And how many times were we standing on the edge of a breakthrough?
And if there's nothing to hold on to maybe we don't have anything at all.
And I couldn't leave you, maybe I'm too afraid to be alone.
Cause I can't survive if I am on my own.
If we fall down when strains between us get to be too much
I still think we should keep in touch, if you'll forgive me.
I'm not afraid to admit I was wrong.
How many thoughtless mishaps would cause a relational collapse
if we would learn to communicate things wouldn't be so delicate at all, but you
don't believe that You think that it's all my fault.
but If you'd only trust me I would right the wrongs.
If we fall down when strains between us get to be too much
I still think we should keep in touch, if you'll forgive me.
I'm not afraid to admit I'm a jerk.
I know things have changed but can't we make this work?
Don't give up on me, I don't think that my heart would mend if you left me
again, just give me one more chance, I be a better man cause I need you like oxygen.
And how many times were we standing on the edge of a breakthrough?
But if there's nothing to hold on to maybe we don't have anything at all.
And I couldn't leave you maybe i'm too afraid to be alone.
Cause I can't survive if I am on my own.

again, just give me one more chance, I'll be a better man cause I need you like oxygen.
you'd Let me in, I'd let you down
you'd throw me out I'd come around again
and you would listen to my sad plea for forgiveness.
you'd Let me in, I'd let you down
you'd throw me out I'd come around again
Like I said I would return
Cryogenically preserved
But you've got cold shoulders for me to lean on
I can't forget you girl
I don't remember how to spell your name
[Chorus:]
The oxygen I breathe, you are my favorite dream
You're my poison air, you are my nightmare
In constant misery, its still a mystery
Why I love you and you can't stand me
I've got a better place waiting for you
I've got a better place waiting for you out there
If we hold on, we can roll on
Be together, tie your sweater.
A little closer my princess.
You're a noose and I'm a neck,
Oh aren't we so perfect for each other.
Stranger things have occured
Three in the furnace, four were seen unburned.
You're the quiet stream, you're my favorite dream
You're my poison air, you are my nightmare
In constant misery, its still a mystery
Why I love you and you can't stand me
I can't forget you girl refresh me on your name.
I call you every night we play a little game.
You're smile and bat your eyes. I'll be back here again
That's just the way it always ends.
Who am I talking to? I always get it wrong
This one goes out to you an adoration song.
And maybe you will fall just like Narcisus fell,
And be a flower by the well.
I don't want your love no more.
The oxygen I breathe, you are my favorite dream
You're my poison air, you are my nightmare
In constant misery its still a mystery
I get nervous when she's near is it something in the atmosphere or is it
just her confidence that leaves me so defenseless
I don't know what to say when she's around she steals the air
from me and it is difficult to breathe she makes me lose my senses
She walks into the room immediately I am doomed I have no defense
the Blue Planet's archeress her arrow pierced my chest and I've been her slave ever since
She could be the one for me I get so weak around her,
I know that we were meant to be
I can't believe I found her.
When I saw her in the hall I stared too much and hit the wall
She must think I'm a stupid guy cause I get so distracted.
There's something in the way she sees the humor in my stupidity.
If you met her you'd know why I'm helplessly attracted
She walks into the room immediately I am doomed I have no defense
the Blue Planet's archeress her arrow pierced my chest and I've been her slave ever since
She could be the one for me I get so weak around her,
I know that we were meant to be
I can't believe I found her.
She could be the one for me I get so weak around her,
I know that we were meant to be
We may not have everything we're dreaming of tonight,
But you told me, that you'd hold me, and thats alright.
We ain't got no fancy cars, to drive around this town,
But with a warm breeze, and our ten speeds, we'll get around.
So we don't have everything,
I've got you and you've got me.
And I don't understand, why it began,
And why you let it grow beyond control.
Through sunshine or rain,
Famine or fame,
You know I would never let you go.
He seems like a nice guy,
The kind that wouldn't hurt a fly,
Don't believe him, he'll take away your soul.
He says that he loves you,
But he never loved anyone,
He's out to destroy me, and everything I am.
No matter what he offers you, I know one day you'll see,
What you had was, better, with me.
And as you walk away with him, I don't want you to leave,
I'm asking, I'm beggin, please?
So we dont have everything,
But why'd you turn your back on me?
And I don't understand, why it began,
And why you let it grow beyond control.
Through sunshine or rain,
Famine or fame,
You know I would never let you go.
He seems like a nice guy,
The kind that wouldn't hurt a fly,
Don't believe him, he'll take away your soul.
He says that he loves you,
But he never loved anyone,
He's out to destroy me, and everything I am.
We may not have everything we're dreaming of tonight,
But you'd told me, that you'd hold me, ain't that alright?
All along life's narrow road, we have boundaries to hold.
The girl across the road lives in a tower
I just dropped by to say hi
then we talked for hours
Life after Death
hopes dreams and wounds
Thursday we'll meet afternoon
She wants to live happily after I'm told.
but Ella how can you you've lost control
but More then the air that I breathe I believe in your soul.
Cause I don't live far away
You and I can live the life of yesterday
She says "take me far away from here,
they will never notice If I disappear, tonight".
Once upon a time in her story they talk of the good life but live contradictory
she speaks of the rules that keep her in chains
She wishes she could live a cliche
Ella lives happily after I'm told
That line of conversation get's old to you
And more then the air that I breathe, I still grieve for your soul.
Cause I don't live far away
You and I can live the life of yesterday.
She says take me far away from here, they will never notice If I disappear.
always afraid that they'll throw away the key
a princess kept in cruel captivity
she asks of the mirror on the wall "what do you see"?
her reflection says here's your enemy.
I don't live far away
You and I can live the life of yesterday
she says take me far away from here
I think I've seen every star in the sky tonight
removed from the city lights, has never seemed so bright
I know I shouldn't believe a word you say.
I do anyway, cause I'm dumb like that.
And all the words I've given to you
When you smiled I thought that it meant something else.
You were just being yourself, being nice,
you're always rather polite to me.
You let me down again, when you ignored the things I said to you
If I was scared of you then maybe I could leave
and if I walked away right now,
there would be nothing left for me to lose but doubt.
I Never fell so far for anyone before, never again I swore,
With you hope was restored. You Make me feel like I've been torn apart
I don't like that at all. I've lost control
And all the words I've given to you, I poured my heart out into an empty coffee
cup, you drank it up, & left me here to drown, alone.
You let me down again, when you ignored the things I said to you.
If I was scared of you, then maybe I could leave.
Cause if I walked away right now, there would be nothing left for me to lose
but I can't lose you I can't lose you
I think I've seen every star that I care to see,
but I don't wanna leave. It hurts when you're self deceived
I know I shouldn't believe a word you say, I do it anyway, cause I'm dumb like that.
And all the words I've given to you
When you smiled I thought that it meant something else.
You were just being yourself, being nice, your always rather polite to me.
You let me down again, when you ignored the things I said to you
If I was scared of you then maybe I could leave
Cause if I walked away right now,
there would be nothing left for me to lose but doubt.
but doubt, but doubt.
there's nothing left, there's nothing left for me to lose but doubt,
there's nothing left, there's nothing left for me to lose but doubt,
A figure like yours can get away with that
This time of year white's so appropriate
You've got the right walk and the attitude
Everyone here wants to get next to you
And I thought I was overdressed in my t-shirt and jeans
Who's got it right?
I don't, I don't
Love me tonight
You won't, you won't
Oh this old thing?
It's just been hanging up in a closet somewhere
Forgot that I owned it
Gathering dust
And now you've gained their trust
It's just a dress
But we're all so impressed
And all the while my stomach turned
I will never learn
But the knock on the door
Fashion can't be ignored
So I'll sing of my pain
Like a gospel refrain
I don't believe that you've got nothing to wear
Sold all I had
Became an anarchist
Shaved my head
Got tattooed to the wrist
Founded a cult
Then got political
Started a trend
And made important friends
Millionares wore linen shirts
Clawing in the tide
Oh the knock on the door says it won't be ignored
So I'll sing of my pain 'cause I don't want to stay here with you
I don't believe that you've got nothing to wear
I've seen your closet, decadence resides there
The voice of reason
We showed you photographs
I think you're angry
Because I had the last laugh
I'll see you tomorrow
Your looks could kill me then
You know I'll break down
A father's failure a long ago would never be forgot.
Their differences would continue to drive them apart.
The mother could not forgive him the father acted unrepentant.
It wasn't long before they'd give in and go their separate ways.
The child found himself in the midst of it all he didn't know on whom to call.
And all the while he's forced to keep forcing a smile
but deep inside his agony can't be denied
When the paperwork was finished he knew it was through
Never more would mom and dad exchange their "I love you's"
all he hoped for was a day when he would wake up from this bad dream
And his parents would both love each other once again.
The child found himself in the midst of it all he didn't know on whom to call.
And all the while he's forced to keep forcing a smile
but deep inside his agony can't be denied
He said to them, please do not go.
I won't survive, my youth alone,
I need a mom, I need a dad,
I need a family, a family,
if not for him, then for your child,
if not for her, then for your son.
His pain won't leave, won't be erased,
can't be undone.
And all the while he's forced to keep forcing a smile
Was it ever in your plan
To come from east japan
And get away with me
Now the past has been erased
We're standing face to face
Won't you let me set you free
Did you ever realize
That you're the one I'm dreaming of
My heart's forever paralyzed
I found the cure in your love
I'll never be alone
With your love
I'll never be alone
Every time that we embrace
I can't help but be amazed
You're exactly what I need
I've searched the whole world round
You call without a sound
And now I've found my place
If we were never meant to be
Then why is it so plain to see
I'm happy when you're close to me
[Christina Aguilera:] What's too much, what's too little, everyone has their different opinion of what they think I should look like, what they think I should act like, be like, but really in the end the only people I answer to are myself and to God, and if I'm comfortable with what I'm doing then I'm okay with that
It was about a year ago I fell in love with you
You were unlike any other girl I knew
And what we had was special I can clearly see it now
I'd love to have you back if you would show me how
I looked into your eyes and I saw the light
As a thousand thought ran through my mind
I realized I've wasted all this time
How could I have been so blind?
Cause I am just a man who acted foolishly
Without regard to what I'd done to you
And in your heart I hope there is still a place for me
In mine there's one for you
And every time I see your face I fall in love anew
I found I never lost the love I had for you
I love the way your hair curls on a windy day
I want to be with you you're the only one for me
I looked into your eyes and I saw the light
As a thousand thoughts ran through my mind
I realized that I've been so unkind
I shut the door, close the blinds
Here's your money, go and find
Someone else who's going to take you home again
I found out about you
You've been running around on me
I found out about you
You've been cheating on me
And I don't like your record
It echoes in these halls
If Hollywood is home
Then you can live there on your own
All the stars in Hollywood are coming out tonight
Cause out in the darkness we find the brightest light
Oohh, admit he's wrapped around your wrist one time
Cause leaving me dead makes you feel so alive
Aren't you so proud to be the woman on his arm?
With two black eyes he told me twice you're never going home
And he doesn't like your record
It echoes in these halls
If Hollywood is home
Then you can live there on your own
All the stars in Hollywood are coming out tonight
Cause out in the darkness we find the brightest light
Oohh, admit he's wrapped around your wrist one time
Cause (?something-something?) makes you feel so alive
You don't believe in love. [x2]
You don't believe, you dont believe in love. [x2]
Remember boy that your forefathers died
Lost in millions for a country's pride
But they never mention the trenches of Belgium
When they stopped fighting and they were one
A spirit stronger than war was at work that night
December 1914 cold, clear and bright
Countries' borders were right out of sight
When they joined together and decided not to fight
All together now
All together now
All together now
In no man's land, together
All together now
All together now
All together now
In no man's land, together
The same old story again
All those tears shed in vain
Nothing learnt and nothing gained
Only hope remains
All together now
All together now
All together now
In no man's land, together
All together now
All together now
All together now
In no man's land, together
All together now
All together now
All together now
In no man's land, together
All together now
All together now
The boys had their say, they said no
Stop the slaughter and let's go home
Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go
The boys had their say, they said no
Stop the slaughter and let's go home
Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go home
All together now
All together now
All together now
In no man's land, together
All together now
All together now
All together now
In no man's land, together
The boys had their say they said no
Stop the slaughter and let's go home
Let's go, let's go, let's go home
The boys had their say they said no
Stop the slaughter and let's go home
Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go home
All together now
All together now
All together now
In no man's land, together
All together now
All together now
All together now

I open my eyes and what do I see
Four walls staring at me
Will you ever remember
Will you ever remember
I'm thinking of you all the while
To see your face and see your smile
Stand by me while I'm away
Stand by me for another day
Very, very, very emotional
(Don't you ever go away)
Stay free, stay free, stay free
all of your days
You make me happy you make me smile
I wanna be with you all the while
Will you ever remember
Will you ever remember
Very, very, very emotional
(Don't you ever go away)
Stay free, stay free, stay free
all of your days
Very, very, very emotional
(Don't you ever go away)
Stay free, stay free, stay free
-----------------
Hey you don't wanna know
Hey you made me feel low
Today
You said I had to go away
I had to go go go go go
I didn't know what went wrong
I didn't wanna sing you a song
I didn't wanna sing you a song
I didn't wanna sing you a love song
'Cause you take, you take me higher
Oh, oh, higher and higher
'Cause you take, you take me higher
Oh, oh, higher and higher
Hey you didn't wanna know
Hey you made me feel low
Today
You said I had to go away
I had to go go go go go
'Cause you take, you take me higher
Oh, oh, higher and higher
'Cause you take, you take me higher
Oh, oh, higher and higher
'Cause you take, you take me higher
Oh, oh, higher and higher
'Cause you take, you take me higher
Oh, oh, higher and higher
All the disused derelict buildings
They tell of stories of time's gone by
They tell of broken dreams and promises
Of all those forgotten lies
And the waste grounds of a city proud
Tell the story you know too well
Just sit back for a while
And listen to the story I tell
Oh, you tell the story
Oh, you tell the story
You tell the story
(You heard ten times before)
You wait for the day, it must come soon
To get you away from your feelings of gloom
There's no real hope and there's none on it's way
You only survive from day to day
Oh, you tell the story
Oh, you tell the story
You tell the story
(You heard ten times before)
Oh, you tell the story
Oh, you tell the story
You tell the story
Oh, you tell the story
Oh, you tell the story
You tell the story
(You heard ten times before)
You tell a story of a city proud
You tell the story, you shout it out loud
The same old story, you wanna hear no more
The same old story, you've heard ten times before
You tell a story of a city proud
You tell the story, you shout it out loud
The same old story, you wanna hear no more
The same old story, you've heard ten times before
You tell a story of a city proud
You tell the story, you shout it out loud
The same old story, you wanna hear no more
The same old story, you've heard ten times before
You been playing with my love baby
And messing with my mind
Trying to make me run to you
All the time
Giving me your love and then
Taking it to him
Well will you ever stop
And mend your evil whims
How long will this keep going on
I want to know
How long must this keep going on
I've got to know how long
In the middle of the night baby
You're calling out his name
You tell me it's alright to love us
Both the same
You'd better think twice baby
And change your plan
Cause I will never share you with
Another man
How long will this keep going on
I want to know
How long must this keep going on
I've got to know
Baby, well maybe you don't realize
Baby, you make me want to close my eyes
And shut you from my heart
Baby, well maybe you don't realize
Baby, you make me want to close my eyes
Well tell me please
How long will this keep going on
I want to know
How long must this keep going on

What they promised
Will now comes true
Don't tell me girl
You should've knew
Plastic gangsters and two bit hoods
Heading for the ninties in their kid gloves
Rolly, rolly
Heading for the prize of the king clown
They say that money's
The root of all crime
But I know people
Who just love the big time
Hearts & Minds
Hearts & Minds
Hearts & Minds
You can't have our Hearts & Minds
Tomorrow is girl
Another day
Come with me and
Forget today
Hearts & Minds
Hearts & Minds
Hearts & Minds
You can't have our Hearts & Minds
Little by little, little by little
Little by little, little by little
Hearts & Minds
Hearts & Minds
Hearts & Minds
I saw you walking down our street
Well you looked quite neat
Baggy jeans and long blond hair
Without a care in the world
What happened to the attitude you used to have at school
What happened to the attitude when you broke all the rules
I saw you just the other week
But we did not speak
You turned your back and flicked your hair
As if you did not care
Well I don't care where you come from
I don't give a damn
Well I don't care where you come from
It's all a sham
You're so special
You're so special
She sings
Get on, get on, get on, get on 'the groovy train'
Get on, get on, get on, get on 'the groovy train'

Sweet Inspiration
For the whole of my nation
Every day you spend in captivity
Every day you're denied your liberty
You were always searching for a better way
Always searching for a brighter day
Looking for a way
Searching for...
You give me
Sweet, sweet inspiration
You give me
Sweet inspiration
You give me
Sweet, sweet inspiration
You give me
Sweet inspiration
Every time I look into your eyes
You always take me, take me by suprise
You're always looking for a better way
Always searching for a brighter day
Looking for a way
Searching for...
You give me
Sweet, sweet inspiration
You give me
Sweet inspiration
You give me
Sweet, sweet inspiration
You give me

Don't give up don't have any fear
'Cause you know you've got it
Don't ever let them get you down
Don't ever let them push you around
(You've got to)
Stand up and fight and be counted
(You've got to)

My world's a roller-coaster and my life's a traffic jam
All this mess ain't even close to bein' who I am
I've been dreamin' Carolina, catchin' craw-dads by the creek
But I'm stuck here in this prison cell full of city streets
I need a little time, I need a little space
I need a little gone, a little out of this place
I wanna get back where I can breathe
Where I feel free, yeah
Take me back, I've been away too long
Take me back to my home sweet home
I can smell my mama's cookin'
And the sweet magnolia trees
Nothing like suppertime on a summer night
I can hear those crickets callin' me
I need a little time, I need a little space
I need a little gone, a little out of this place
I wanna get back where I can breathe
Where I feel free, yeah
Take me back, I've been away too long
Take me back to my home sweet home
I need a little time, I need a little space
I need a little gone, a little out of this place
I wanna get back where I can breathe
Where I feel free, yeah
Take me back, I've been away too long
Take me back, I've been away too long
Take me back, I've been away too long
Take me back to my home sweet home
Kissin' Jenny Lynn on a front porch swing
Catchin' fireflies on the first day of spring
Swingin' along while the church choir sings
Sneakin' around on a full moon night
Makin' out for the very first time
