Charlie: When your God tells you to beat the shit out of somebody, you do it. That's what religion is all about!
Labia: Get real, mum, I'm not marrying someone with bigger its than me. He looks like a condom full of walnuts.
Samson: What would I want with a beautiful young thing when I've got you, eh?
Delilah: You promised me you wouldn't fight anymore after that man was killed.
The chickens: "Cluck, cluck, cluck; Ah, *uck this for a joke".
Machismo: [to Ursys] I'll fight you on one condition... that you lower your nipples.
Hercules: [bursts into song] Tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree...
Murial: [Shocked] What is that man doing with his hand on my Labia!
Stretch: [as Zeus] Your actual purpose is not as you believe to marry Labia, but to reveal your true homosexuality.::Hercules: [confused] Homosexual?
Barmaid: [strokes her husbands hair] Ooh, your dandruffs getting worse, innit?::Barman: Fuck off!::Barmaid: [walks away] Fair enough.
Machismo, or machoism, is a word of Spanish and Portuguese origin that describes prominently exhibited or excessive masculinity. As an attitude, machismo ranges from a personal sense of virility to a more extreme male chauvinism. Characteristics include domineering, fierceness, bravado, etc., in ways that are showily and histrionically tough.
The trait may be seen as the product of runaway evolution, as Frits Staal notes:
In American literature, an example of machismo comes from Tennessee Williams' character Stanley Kowalski, the egotistical brother-in-law in A Streetcar Named Desire. In the play (and in the motion picture), Stanley epitomizes the tough guy stereotype alpha male, socially and physically dominating and imposing his will upon his wife and her sister, Blanche Dubois. Bound up with Stanley's aggressive and occasionally misogynist views is a strong sense of pride and honor which leads to his hatred of Blanche.
In the play A View from the Bridge by Arthur Miller, one of the main characters Eddie is a classic type who displays machismo. He wants to be the best of the men around him and when beaten, becomes very agitated and increasingly irrational.

Machismo doesn't wanna know macho, macho, macho
It's always such a show, when anyone is watchin'
Even when you're wrong, you just won't admit it
You think you're bein' strong, so you take it to the limit
Everyone's watchin' everyone's watchin'
It's time to play the fool again
Everyone's watchin' everyone's watchin'
You think you're cool but baby you're not
Everyone's watchin' everyone's watchin'
You gotta rule and call the shots
Machismo doesn't understand macho, macho, macho
What makes a man a man, it ain't about your ego
You have to make your point but where the hell's it got ya
You're just a bunch a noise, but that ain't nothin' new
Always so macho, always so macho
If you could only see yourself
Always so macho, always so macho
You ain't got the balls to be yourself
Always so macho, always so macho
You take it out on everyone else
Always so macho, always so macho oooohh
Machismo loves to fight macho, macho, macho
That you think might is right!
But I know that it just ain't so
Bravado is veneer, and yours is one I see through
You're really insecure and you're afraid I know you
Everyone's watchin' everyone's watchin'
You gotta rule an' call the shots
Always so macho, always so macho
If you could only see yourself
Everyone's watchin' everyone's watchin'
You thing you're cool but baby you're not
Always so macho, always so macho ooooohh
You've got to have your say
Always have to get your way
Don't want Machismo anymore
"I've got the little girls! I've got all the little girls!"
I lights the cigarettes
I can do cool thing
I like exist and that's all
Save me! Come on, baby Baby, come on
Don't go for parties
Make my face hurt!
I only take people I want
Save me! Come on, baby Baby, come on
Talk in quotation marks
Now watch me do me!
Chick, chick, chick . . .
Save me Come on, baby Baby, come on
