Dean Michael Ornish, M.D., (born July 16, 1953) is president and founder of the nonprofit Preventive Medicine Research Institute in Sausalito, California, as well as Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco.
Ornish, a native of Dallas, Texas, is a graduate of Hillcrest High School of the Dallas Independent School District. He holds a Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude in Humanities from the University of Texas at Austin where he gave the baccalaureate address. He earned his M.D. from the Baylor College of Medicine, was a Clinical Fellow in Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and served a medical internship and residency at Massachusetts General Hospital (1981–1984).
Ornish is known for his lifestyle-driven approach to the control of coronary artery disease (CAD) and other chronic diseases. Beginning in 1977, he directed a series of clinical research studies proving, for the first time, that comprehensive lifestyle changes could not only stop the progression of CAD, but could actually reverse it. These lifestyle changes included a whole foods, plant-based diet, smoking cessation, moderate exercise, stress management techniques including yoga and meditation, and psychosocial support. He has acknowledged his debt to Swami Satchidananda for helping him develop this holistic perspective on preventive health.
Deepak Chopra (Hindi: दीपक चोपड़ा; born October 22, 1946) is an Indian-born, American physician, public speaker, and writer. He is generally specialized in subjects such as spirituality, Ayurveda and mind-body medicine. Chopra began his career as an endocrinologist and later shifted his focus to alternative medicine. He now runs his own medical center with a focus on mind-body connections.[clarification needed] He is also a lecturer at the Update in Internal Medicine event.
Chopra was an assistant to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi before starting his own career in the late 1980s by publishing self-help books on New Age spirituality and alternative medicine. A friend of Michael Jackson for 20 years, Chopra criticized the "cult of drug-pushing doctors, with their co-dependent relationships with addicted celebrities", saying that he hoped Jackson's death, attributed to an overdose of a prescription drug, would be a call to action.
Chopra was born in New Delhi, India. His father, Krishan Chopra (1919–2001) was a prominent Indian cardiologist, and head of the department of medicine and cardiology at Mool Chand Khairati Ram Hospital, New Delhi, for over 25 years, He was also a lieutenant in the British army. His paternal grandfather was a sergeant in the British Army, who looked to Ayurveda for treatment for a heart condition when the condition did not improve with Western medicine.
Dan Buettner (born 1960 in St. Paul, Minnesota) is an American explorer, educator, author, public speaker and co-producer of an Emmy Award-winning documentary who also holds three world records for endurance bicycling. He is the founder of the online Quest Network, Inc., which provides opportunities for students to interactively engage with explorers on expedition. In February 2007, an expedition led by Buettner to Nicoya, Costa Rica uncovered the longest-lived people known in the Western Hemisphere.
Raised by an adventurous father, Buettner's appreciation of travel was encouraged by a series of international trips he won as a teenager selling newspapers. His brothers Steve and Nick also followed in their father's footsteps.
After graduating from the College of St. Thomas in 1984, Buettner took a year to explore Spain before taking a job with National Public Radio in Washington, D.C. recruiting celebrity participation in a fund-raising croquet tournament with journalist George Plimpton.
The experience taught him a lot about the fundraising value of publicity, so he set off to achieve several world records, cycling thousands of miles on several continents. The first trip, called "Americastrek," covered 15,500 miles from Alaska to Argentina and was completed in 1987; the second, "Sovietrek," in 1990 covered 12,888 miles; the third, inspired by 1992's Los Angeles riots, was "Africatrek," covering 11,885 miles through Africa. Buettner has completed these treks in spite of suffering from Ménière's disease.

Put your hands in the air if you're down to get blazed
Put your middle fingers up like back in the day
If you're down with the Krown let me hear you say

[CHORUS]

Simple mathematics higher education
Times are getting' drastic

We bombastic time to take action
Richter grab the microphone and start blasting
When you walk in my crib that shit's hot boxed
And when you walking out the door look like you got a pocket full of rocks
But it's two zip locks filled up with pot that you just bought
450 a pop and now I got 900 in my back pocket
Now I light up another joint and blast off like a rocket
You just can't stop this I'm gonna keep smoking
Stay on the top 'cause I know who's growing
[CHORUS]
Yo stop the presses we a decade deep
We've been here ten years blowing big smoke rings
Burnt so many joints my nickname's Richter the Roller
From Kottonmouth and Kingspade Sub Noize is taking over
Rock the bells no more walking on eggshells
Truth be told we broke the mold in the game
We're not the same fuck being conventional
We come original do it our way
Back in the day we drew a line in the sand
Said we'd never be like any other band
We sparked the hoota then we sparked a movement
Red lights flashing yeah we stuck to the plan

ora ogni mia data viene disdetta
ogni serata per me ? maledetta
chi mi stima penso menta
mi passer? una lametta
prima di una mezz'oretta
anzi no
mi ubriaco in saletta
ti mando a fanculo in diretta
i pazzi siete voi che ancora mi date retta
non sono nessuno
non riuscivo a accettarlo
ma ora ho comprato un'accetta..
Rit.
S? che ho un cazzo di flow
che faccio un cazzo di show
che vi manda tutti ai matti
che gridate tutti quanti..BLOW
un cazzo di flow
che faccio un cazzo di show
Tomar as minhas prÓprias decisÕes
(fim do refrão)
