Avi Arad (Hebrew: אבי ארד; born August 1, 1948) is an Israeli-American businessman. He became the CEO of the company Toy Biz in the 1990s, and soon afterward became the chief creative officer of Marvel Entertainment, a Marvel director, chairman, CEO and the founder of Marvel Studios.
Born in Giv'atayim, Israel during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, and raised there, Arad came to the United States during his college years and enrolled at Hofstra University to study industrial management. He earned a bachelor of business administration from the University in 1972.
Along with Toy Biz co-owner Isaac Perlmutter, Avi Arad came into conflict with Carl Icahn and Ron Perelman over control of Marvel Comics in the wake of its 1996 bankruptcy. In the end, Arad and Perlmutter came out on top, with Toy Biz taking over Marvel Comics in a complicated deal that included obtaining the rights to Spider-Man and other superheroes that Marvel had sold earlier. He was involved in Marvel's emergence from bankruptcy and the expansion of the company's profile through licensing and movies.
Kevin Feige is a film producer. He joined Marvel Studios in 2000. He has been involved in all of their theatrical productions, and was named President of Production in 2007.
His films have a combined worldwide box office gross of $8.3 billion
David Hayter (born February 6, 1969) is a Canadian-American voice and screen actor and screenwriter. He is best known for providing the English voices of Solid Snake and Big Boss (Naked Snake) in the Metal Gear video game series, and for writing the screenplay for X-Men and co-writing the screenplay for The Scorpion King and X2. He also wrote a screenplay for Watchmen from the comic book series of the same name, which received an enthusiastic reception from the director and original illustrator. Earlier in his acting career, he played the lead role in the live-action Guyver: Dark Hero.
Hayter was born in California to Canadian parents. He started acting at the age of 9. Hayter spent most of his childhood living around the world and at the age of 15, Hayter moved to Kobe in Japan where he graduated from the Canadian Academy, an international school, in 1987. After high school, he attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for two years until transferring to Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada where he stayed until the age of 20 when he moved to Hollywood. He did some live acting in the early 1990s, but became interested in voice acting after making a cameo appearance in an episode of the sitcom Major Dad, and later landed the role of Captain America in the popular 1994 Spider-Man animated series. He also provided the voice of Arsène Lupin III in the English version of the anime film The Castle of Cagliostro and the voice of Tamahome in the English version of the anime series Fushigi Yūgi.
The Green Goblin is a fictional character, a supervillain who appears in the comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko, and first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #14 (July 1964).
Although many characters have taken up this identity, the most well-known is the original Green Goblin, Norman Osborn. Osborn was originally an amoral industrialist head of OSCORP and father of Spider-Man's best friend, Harry Osborn, who took a serum which enhanced his physical abilities and intellect but also drove him to insanity. He adopted a Halloween-themed appearance, dressing in a goblin costume, riding on a bat-shaped "Goblin Glider", and using an arsenal of high-tech weapons, notably grenade-like "Pumpkin Bombs", to terrorize New York City. He is one of Spider-Man's most persistent foes, and many consider him to be one of the archenemies of Spider-Man, being directly responsible for numerous tragedies in Spider-Man's life, such as the death of Gwen Stacy and the Clone Saga. He is also the lead protagonist of the company-wide Dark Reign storyline.
Felicity Rose Hadley Jones (born 17 October 1983) is an English actress from Birmingham. She is best known to television audiences for her role as the school bully Ethel Hallow in the first series of The Worst Witch (she was replaced by Katie Allen for series two and three) and its sequel Weirdsister College. Jones also co-starred in Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant's feature Cemetery Junction. She starred opposite Anton Yelchin in the 2011 drama Like Crazy.
Jones grew up in Bournville, Birmingham. Her parents met while working at the Wolverhampton Express and Star. Her father was a journalist while her mother was in advertising. They divorced when she was three, and she was brought up with her brother by her mother alone. Despite this, she says her family is "extremely close."
After Kings Norton Girls' School, Jones attended King Edward VI Handsworth School, to complete A Levels and went on to take a gap year (during which she appeared in the BBC series Servants). She then read English at Wadham College, Oxford, graduating with a 2:1 in 2006. Whilst studying English, she appeared in student plays, including Attis in which she played the title role, and, in 2005, Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors for the OUDS summer tour to Japan, starring alongside Harry Lloyd.
Sleepless night, tonight
With the view of our world in sight
And all the stars ignite the sky
That’s ours, and when we
Sleep at night
My dreams of you are sky high
With you here next to me is where you’re suppose to be
There’ll be no more sleepless nights
The candles burning bright and I can see it in your eyes,
Don’t turn away from me because I wanna watch you sleep tonight
Maybe tomorrow we can start over again
And lay to rest our yesterdays
Sleepless night, tonight
No passing meteorite could ever smash our life
Crashing down until the end, you’ll keep me warm forever my friend
Crushed by the rubble that’s made me so strong
Candles all burned out
They didn’t make a sound
You know just what I’m talking about
Front porch lights
Cutting through the night
I recognize that look in your eyes
Let me hear you say (X3)
I can just taste this
Lipsticks a mess
And you’re shaking
Cause you’re scared to death
With three seconds left
Help is on the way
I could just fake this
But I must confess
That your looking so perfect
In your little black dress
With three seconds left
Help is on the way
Your bed is all messed up
You couldn’t get enough
You know just what I'm talking about
Got you by my side
Our hearts beat in time
Darling I have been waiting for
You to wake up from your dreaming
You’ve been dreaming
All that I can think about
Is how our world is going now
And the smile that it brings to my face
You turned your back, you went away, I cant believe you’re gone.
Watch me as hours turn to days
Oh I’ve been waiting, waiting for so long
I promise you the world, you promised me you’d stay
We’ll fly, we’ll fly, we’ll fly tonight.
Remember when we used to talk
The nights would fly the days were lost
You always seem to hurt the ones you love
I’ll never know where we went wrong
Why I was weak and you were strong
Maybe we were misunderstood
Watch me as hours turn to days
Oh I’ve been waiting, waiting for so long
I promise you the world, you promised me you’d stay
We’ll fly, we’ll fly, we’ll fly tonight.
I’m standing here don’t walk away
Oh I’ve been waiting, waiting for so long
I promised you the sun, you gave away the day
We’ll fly, we’ll fly, we’ll fly tonight
These times have been good
An era of laughs and life
We may meet again
Down the road of the unknown
The world's open to you
Don't turn your back
Fate holds out it's hand
Now take it with a full heart
Don't take the fool's way
Sometimes people don't stay
Time for goodbye my friend
All good things come to an end
We were handed fools gold
Took it with a shadowed hand
Don't let gravity get you down
While every star lines up free
the odd man stands still
From where I lay down, humble
Any day we make, you and I keep breathing
And start the end
If you ever see the face of your staring idol
Just sense the sky and carry on bling
But I just fear a lesson
For every lie died unsaid
A strange love unseeing
From where we stand still
for any stunning signs
you and I keep living and start the end
Had you ever thought you might have been driven,
By forces , unsound and clear
Today again, I miss the stylish sheens of my sonic youth,
Keep me from the age of reason, sour and stale
that breaks the wings of will and kills me on,
I miss you, shelters of mine,
Driven by horses, dark and swell
A night like this and the night before
I've done my best but there's no one to tell...
To keep me from the edge of resign, sour and stale,
That breaks the wings of will and kills me on
But stay ! it's only turning
and we'll be breathing out
the wind of surrender, like a new born illusion
Driven by horses, dark and swell
Until it radiates all over me
I'll come over unstrung
I'll wait for your insecure states
Lured by confusion sundering my heart
The luminous beam I figure
Appears distant from feat
From flesh to purple sky
And I can't choose so fast
Do you care for me?
Passion and concrete
When music comes to fear
Do you dare trying it?
I dare you taking me on
With blinding new love
Try me... Try me... Try me... Try me...
If I found out the truth
I would not change.
The way I feel:
-´Choice is a junction´
Before me it is mine to do as I please,
I base my reactions on data
I collected previously
So change is not an option
If you´re as mechanised as me
´Expectations equal morality´
-A definition made by man
My mission is to live up to these demands.
I understand!
But in the fine print I spotted:
A warning I was not supposed to see
In the terms of usage
this is what I came to read:
WARNING: Ending
WARNING: Ending (Without warning)
How can I find a way out?
´Tis a dangerous night
And a morning
Shine on me to the fields
As I ride and a following:
Fiery gleam.
And a season will rise
Growing!
Grow the trees!
Darkness cease!
And a shimmering light
Glowing!
Morning come!
WARNING: Ending
WARNING: Ending (Without warning)
How can I find a way out of my destiny?
As a being see me wither then I die.
Grace is lost
In the years I am.
The wise and ancient minstrel Wainamoinen
Sat in the meadows of Wainola singing his songs
Of wits and wisdom of legends long forgotten
He was the wisest and strongest and oldest one, known to all
But far from the dismal north came a jealous singer
A young and reckless foolhardy Joukahainen
He challenged old Wainamoinen to a contest of wisdom
He gathered his power and so he began his chanting
"I have knowledge of things most do not see
Yield your sword do you think you're better than me?"
"It's not thy sword and not thy wisdom I fear"
said Wainamoinen to a cursing Joukahainen
"You've come for a battle and a battle you shall have
now face the torture and horror as I start to sing"
Mountains were torn to pieces and oceans heaved
Joukahainen was hurled into the swamp so deep
"I'm drowning oh save me please what should I give?
My bows, my stallions, my gold, what do You need?"
"I do not wish thy crossbows for I have a few of such already"
"And for thy gold I have no longing, neither do I wish thy stallions"
"Then take my sister Aino as Your bride to be"
"So let it be done"
Ooooh how the tears they fell as sweet Aino heard the news
that she is to be wedded to the old Wainamoinen
The maiden sat on a stone in the center of the lake
There are silly signs
That make obvious
Like " I want to see
A real bad girl"
But you keep beggin'
The steady hive
The handsome machine
Hello, hello, I'm scared for your short-term reality
Hello, hello, you've got to be lookin' over
Don't fall into
Your own love hatch
Like " I want to see
A real sad boy"
It looks like
The perfect lode
The handsome machine
Hello, hello, you know that's a short-term reality
Hello, hello, you'd better be lookin' over
This burnin' passion your heart's in
Live while you can
Breathe while you can
Love while you can
'Cause nearby the stars are leaning down on us
I know I don't want you
I feel broken insight and miles away from what I thought
Bells are ringing again, let the devil out again
far away from what I thought
And I see you in my back yard,
Weak and restless faces for everyone,
And just a few contest
Take me to my promised land
if it's all I undertand
I'm half dead but I can break you too
Mother bring me home,'cause nobody wrestles
And I see it in my back yard
It's trying to break through
Forget yourself
Scream out my name
My head is so disturbed
And spinning
Shake & poses
Hidden faces
Flash & roses
Screamin' inside out
Pissed & loaded
The running process
Flash & roses
Lyin' inside out
For a
Lifestyle radio star

Sunny style
Falls out on me

Fashion poses
Sexy faces

Pissed & loaded
The rotten process

I forgot my face, my memory's thin
I've sold my soul to tell my heart I've lived
Another place to hide, It's all I've gained
I left behind my favourite things too soon vanished,
Well absorbed in one song, and after all:
Should I have played so much?
I think it shattered my innerself
Should I have played so much?
I think it shattered my innocence
And when I fake at living, I face the ground,
For what goes on between you and I,
I've betrayed you
And when I fake at living, I face the ground,
For what goes on,
I've betrayed you
I ruin myself, face to face
I've sold my soul to tell my heart I'm living
Another hit, it is all I've made
I've messed about with my favourite pills too soon purchased,
Well absorb in one day, and after all:
Should I have played so much?
I think it shattered my innerself
Should I have played so much?
I think it shattered my innocence,
And even then, if you find me reaching high,
For what goes on to reach my borderlines
I've still betrayed you
And even then, if you find me reaching high,
For what goes on
I drove my fate in abandon, flying the day above
I could not stand our allusions, that keep my dream undone
I lost my face for a nation playing dead fortunes
and I can't stand your distortions, it's till the same old tune
but time fades of great men,
and we're miles away from changes
Brave as we are, we won't complain ?!
and that's a drastic situation,
see the mess we're in
and that's true for my generation,
I've lost my face within
It suddenly comes out of reasons
Strip my days of lasting hours
Tryin' to make it thru
When a sudden process arise
I stand for uprising
Cause we're sorely tasted alive
And we barely consent
We could die any instant
Or be stored on a rusted shelf
But you can dream your life
And spoil the best
Thinkin' of New Years day...
When a sudden process arise
I stand for uprising
Cause we're sorely tasted alive
And we barely consent
Barely consent...
How many lies, hidden in oblivion
I think it's far beyond our ken
Sacrificing minds all over
Spelling tells of the decade
People swallowed by people,
you have no lean on me
and from what I thought and done of you
I guess I should say
"Head on your tracks"
but I'm fading out
How many lines have I been chasing
To gain my related shadow
I've been looking for major falls
They may be such a deal for my way
Millions by consciousness
But you have no lean on me
and from what I thought and done of you
I guess I should say : "Head on your tracks"
tight and straitened
far from release
men are running
out indeed
of rising love
any space within
time is filled with wonder
whispered in tales I'm trying to read
Strange World,
tight and turned
and time needs changes
large indeed
I used to think that
My devotion used to betray your heart
That comprmised love
Fades with the sun
My innermission still haunts me
Live through art
Till I die
But are we innocents?
Passionately
It should crawl any moment
At the end of line
I know today
How the issues lay on time
I live in peace
My secret sun aside of you
Towards innocence
I feel our seeds
Rising any moment
If I could turn bak the hands of time
I'd come running to you.
To tell you what love can bring
To counter everything they told you.
If I managed to understand you
I'd come running to you,
To tell you what life can bring
To counter everything they stole from you.
I'll lead myself out of my fears
To keep you out of your sleep
I'll lead myself out of my fears
[Dad:]
Maybe I'll just say how it began
In the quiet of night, when the clouds ceased to rain
A baby was born in the infirmary
Its very existence when something that wasn't meant to be
Maybe his mother already knew
The doctors have told her that he won't pull through
She hoped they were wrong but felt it was true
[Kids:]
(That sounds like fun!)
[Dad:]
Maybe I'll try a different one
(It's not)
Going anywhere
(It's not)
Going anywhere
Let me start again
)let's start)
Let me start again
Let me...
Don't be afraid
Don't get angry
The story is there but it's still unclear
Where would it go?
Don't let it get you down
It's all in my mind you'll see
Don't be afraid
Don't get angry
The story is there in my head, I'll try this instead! Let's see...
[attempt #2]
Long ago but not far away from here
A sick old lay down on his death bed
Mumbling words that seem to make no sense
"I promised them that I'll try to open the door! Bring them back and change their faith!"
Weeks has passed and death knocked upon his door
"I'm not here" he said, trying to sound credible
[Death:]
"I was sent to take you many years ago"
[Old Man:]
"You didn't take me then and you can't take me now"
[Death:]
"That mistake I'll rectify"
Freeze time no one can stop destiny
Hold your breath lad I'll make sure you'll go through what was meant to be
Freeze time no one can stop destiny
Grab a sit now you're about to witness something that you have never seen in all (of) your life
[Dad:]
Maybe I'll pick up where we've left
A little boy became a man
Cheating faith and destiny
It's not the way it was meant to be
[attempt #3]
Stand up, the child that cheated destiny
You were not suppose to be in here (yeah)
But it's not, not your fault
Real
The path you tread is not paved yet
Think how limitless it just could be
And don't be scared of it all
Stand up, the child that cheated destiny
You can stop so many things from happening
Can create and destroy
Real
The path your tread is not paved yet
He doesn't know of your existence
Does not see what you do
Help us all open the door
You're the one we've been waiting for
Help us all escape from these walls
Help us see the light of day
All of the souls that are lost
All the souls he had forgotten
Wait for you to open the doors
[Dad:]
Maybe I'll just stop it here
Let you both sleep while I wonder
What ever happened to him?
And to all the promises he made to them
Pouring waters over the sea
The skies are so dark today
Tidal waves form strange melodies
That words can't begin to say
Heavy winds displaces the trees
The sun has turned cold and grey
Thunder sounds are echoing near
Reality seems so frail
Wasting most of your worthless days
Squandering all we have
Will it stop before we all see?
There's nothing left to save
And the world keeps turning
(Business is going well)
And our end keeps forming
No one could stop this show
Waters covering us
As Far as the eye can see
Not a shred of land left
Within this enormous sea
Wheels of money turning (too late)
No one to stop the spin (too late)
All goes on in circles
Our chances are growing thin
And the world keeps turning
(Business is going well)
And our end keeps forming
No one could stop this show
And the clock keeps ticking
Silhouettes I
...draw my silhouette...
They draw your silhouette
In a snapshot slice of life
They spell your sobriquet
We tend to gravitate
In wiry line roulettes
Always in orbit
It's all what you radiate
So prone on prejudice
With a knack for pinning down
Held to your premises
Instant-bound
To mesh and canvas, grid and ground
All gone too far
Where did we go wrong?
All that we are
The sum of damage done
So prone on etiquette
You gloss your silhouette
Saving every oddity
For therapy
Lost and bereft
Where did we go wrong?
All that is left
The sum of damage done
Silhouettes II
We're all but silhouettes
Sketch-like circles in the sand
Then, like burn-marks from a cigarette
Life steps in
To fill in the blanks
And though the chalk outline is just a myth
Enticing fiction at its best
Attractive lies become reality
And thriller portraits become man
In the blanks of society
In red ink on too much tan
Like dents in a passenger door
Of something driven too fast, too hard
So personality is really nothing more
Than the random scattered holes
In a punch card
Just flaws in the programming
Simple brushstrokes askew
Until those stains of uniqueness
Become someone who's you
And so...
The one you are
The ones you're not
The ones you once were
And could become
The ones you hate
The ones you love
Yes, everyone
Is just the sum
Of damage done
Silhouettes III
Instrumental
Silhouettes IV
You flaunt your silhouettes
Hiding your damages away
When they are just the rare dents that may
Convince me to stay
So prone on therapy
We hope that it might go away
But what sets you free
Is letting it hurt
And learning to say
This is all me
And that's OK
We try to heal
That's where we go wrong
It's our appeal
It is who we are
The sums of every scar
Silhouettes V
Down Here
Standing on the brink
Of not knowing anything
Not even me
And still
Fading memories
Reminding me everything
That I couldn't see
I know there must be a reason
For treason there must
And all the words they just falter
Can't alter this mess
I know there must be a reason
It isn't enough
And all the tears they just falter
Can't alter this fate
Who could have thought I'd have to give you up
Put a stop here
You wouldn't dream I'd have to leave you here
Would you dear now
Down Here
Standing on the brink
It's better than anything
Feeling so free
Few tears
Fewer memories
(And it's) Better then anything
Things haven't been easy
Not since you walked away
Why things won't stay the same
I ask -- no one's there
Home started seeming
So far away from here
Well that's how it always ends,
No remorse, no stare
[Chorus:]
Things can't be easy
Maybe I'll start to look for one
Why things can't stay the same
Maybe I'll run away from here
Tease me
Please me
Don't preach me
Ask why
Tell lies
Don't go
No wonder what happened next
You could just smell the fear
Like ancient tales from old
Just victims no one to blame
Come play with me
Come play with me
If you were one of them
You wouldn't do that to me
If you were one of us
None of this would happen to you
Come play with me
Come play with me
[Chorus]
Let haze roll in
And bless me in my dreams
No company
I'm lost in memories
Let darkness come
Release me from my pain
I wait in vain
As silence comes around
I live our life
Rewind it in my head
It's still the same
Though you are far from here
This world of mine
Is where I want to stay?
I will be fine
If things will stay the same
[Last chorus:]
Things won't be easy
Maybe I'll start to look for one
If things can't stay the same
