The Muffs are an American punk rock band based in Southern California, formed in 1991, and led by Kim Shattuck.
The original line-up also included guitarist Melanie Vammen (like Shattuck, a former member of 1980s all-female garage rock and hard rock Los Angeles band, The Pandoras), bassist Ronnie Barnett and drummer Criss Crass.
After releasing their initial 7" EPs and singles independently and on local labels, the Muffs signed to Warner Bros. Records and released their self-titled debut album in 1993. The Muffs were eventually moved from the Warner Bros. label to the Reprise roster.
Vammen and Crass left after the band's self-titled debut album. Crass was replaced by Jim Laspesa after their 1993 tour with the Goo Goo Dolls, and Laspesa by Roy McDonald in 1994. The Muffs' line-up has remained unchanged since then.
The Muffs' second album, Blonder and Blonder, was released on Reprise Records in 1995.
The Muffs' cover of "Kids In America", originally by Kim Wilde, was used in the soundtrack for the 1995 film Clueless. It was later reissued on The Muffs' 2000 compilation album Hamburger. The song is also used in Rock Band 2.

Jullian accidentally shot most of one rolls at 60 fps which is slow motion. The coolest thing is that the band is really playing live. I had 6 mics and protools on my laptop.

You wish, you wish
Don't sit and die for all to see
When I can't get through
Don't you know you're killing me
Am I wise to run away
Are you the kind to always say
Give it a chance
I don't want to think it was all for nothing
I can't think kind of you
I'm not in my right mind
If I fall asleep
Say goodbye I know you'll keep
Moving on to what's her name
Give it some time it'll be the same
Do it again
You don't want to think it was all for nothing
It was all for nothing
And if you come too late
And take me right away
Then you'll be sad
'Cause I'll be gone forever
You wish, you wish
Don't sit and die for all to see
If I can't get through
Don't you know you're killing me
Am I wise to run away
Are you the kind to always say
Give it a chance
You don't want to think it was all for nothing
It was all for nothing
