This is a list of characters appearing in the animated series Kim Possible.
Kimberly Ann "Kim" Possible is a high-school cheerleader and crime fighter who saves the world on a regular basis while dealing with the normal challenges of a teenager, such as winning cheer competitions, turning in her homework on time, and maintaining a love life. Her full name is Kimberly Ann Possible.
She and Ron Stoppable have been best friends since prekindergarten. As they grow up, Ron is her indispensable sidekick on most of her missions, though she has done some with Wade, Monique, her brothers, and even her mom as her sidekick. Kim and Ron end up developing romantic feelings for each other and begin dating during their senior year, (Season 4).
Kim's speech is peppered with not-so-typical teen slang such as "So not the drama" and "No big" ("no big deal"), as well as the series' catchphrase, "What's the sitch?" (slang for "situation").
She is known to have a fiery and demanding personality, which often gets in the way of her work, but she is basically an intelligent, level-headed young lady and always manages to come out on top in the end and save the day. Though she struggles with embarrassment, her rivalry with Bonnie, and her shyness around her crushes, she usually displays extreme maturity, going so far as to act as Ron's conscience at times.
The Kim Possible Soundtrack is an album released in 2003 by Walt Disney Records. It contains songs from the show Kim Possible. The songs here are used as scores in this toon series, and some songs inspired by the show. The voice-over artist for Kim, Christy Carlson Romano, sings a song for the soundtrack, as well as a rap from Ron and Rufus. There are a few popular artists in the soundtrack including Aaron Carter and Smash Mouth. Walt Disney Records released a second "Kim-Proved" version of the soundtrack in 2005.
Differences from the original soundtrack to the Kim-Proved version are as follows:
The songs "This Year" by A*TEENS and "Work It Out" by Brassy on the original are replaced by "Rappin' Drakken" by Dr. Drakken and "Could it Be" by Christy Carlson Romano on the Kim-Proved Version. The "CALL ME, BEEP ME! (Movie Mix)" by Angela Michael is added to the Kim-Proved Version.
Kim Possible is an American animated television series about a teenage crime fighter who has the task of dealing with worldwide, family, and school issues every day. The show is action-oriented, but also has a light-hearted atmosphere and often lampoons the conventions and clichés of the secret-agent and action genres. It marked the second animated Disney Channel Original Series, and was the first series to be produced by Walt Disney Television Animation, in association with Disney Channel.
It remains the longest running Disney Channel Original Series airing for 5 years and 3 months.
Kim lives in a normal town named Middleton. The series revolves around Kim’s fight against her enemies as well as her everyday life problems as a normal teenager, which are usually presented as a subplot.
Creators Mark McCorkle and Bob Schooley claim they created the show in an elevator. As they tell it, McCorkle looked at Schooley and said, "Kim Possible: she can do anything". Schooley at once replied, "Her partner is Ron Stoppable: he can't do anything". The creators also maintain that it was always their intention for Kim and Ron to eventually become involved romantically, rather than just remaining best friends. This becomes a reality in the supposed series-ending movie, Kim Possible: So the Drama. The romantic theme also continues in season four.
The following is a list of episodes for the Disney Channel series Kim Possible. The series aired from June 7, 2002 to September 7, 2007 with 87 episodes produced.
