Martha Albertson Fineman (born 1943) is an internationally renowned law and society scholar and a leading authority in feminist legal theory and family law. She is currently Robert W. Woodruff Professor of Law at Emory University School of Law, having formerly held the Dorothea S. Clarke Professorship of Feminist Jurisprudence at Cornell Law School and the Maurice T. Moore Professorship at Columbia Law School. She is an affiliated scholar of the Center for American Progress and of the Center for the Study of Law and Religion. Much of her early scholarship focuses on the legal regulation of family and intimacy; she has since broadened her scope to focus on the legal implications of universal dependency, vulnerability and justice. Her recent work formulates a theory of vulnerability, in order to argue for a more responsive state and a more egalitarian society. Fineman directs the Feminism and Legal Theory Project, which she founded in 1984 and which hosts scholars from around the world.

Martha of Bethany (Aramaic מַרְתָּא Martâ) is a biblical figure described in the Gospels of Luke and John. Together with her siblings Lazarus and Mary, she is described as living in the village of Bethany near Jerusalem. She is the middle child of her family with Lazarus being the eldest and her sister Mary Magdalene the youngest. She was witness to Jesus' resurrection of her brother, Lazarus.

The name Martha is a Latin transliteration of the Koine Greek Μαρθα, itself a translation of the Aramaic מַרְתָּא Martâ, "The mistress" or "the lady", from מרה "mistress", feminine of מר "master". The Aramaic form occurs in a Nabatean inscription found at Puteoli, and now in the Naples Museum; it is dated AD. 5 (Corpus Inscr. Semit., 158); also in a Palmyrene inscription, where the Greek translation has the form Marthein.

In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus visits the home of two sisters named Mary and Martha. The two sisters are contrasted: Martha was "cumbered about many things" while Jesus was their guest, while Mary had chosen "the better part", that of listening to the master's discourse. The name of their village is not recorded, nor any mention of whether Jesus was near Jerusalem:

Andrew Kaufman is a Canadian writer, film director, and radio producer.

His short film Aberistiwith was screened at festivals across Europe and Canada. Andrew Kaufman is also a revolving cast member of the Perpetual Motion Roadshow, and now works as a producer for CBC Radio in Toronto.

His novella All My Friends Are Superheroes (2003) is a humorous love story between a normal man and a superheroine, The Perfectionist, set in the Toronto superhero milieu, in which the bizarre characters (The Seeker, The Inverse, BusinessMan etc.) actually personify different human types; it has been translated into Norwegian (2006), Italian (2007), French (translated by Anna Rozen) (2007), German (2008), Dutch (translated by Caroline Teszler) (2009) and Spanish (2010).

He has also written a longer novel titled, "The Waterproof Bible", published by Telegram in 2009. His novella The Tiny Wife was published in 2010 by Madras Press.

Camille Martin (born 1956) is an American-Canadian poet and collage artist who lives in Toronto, Canada. After residing in New Orleans for fourteen years, in 2005 she moved to Toronto following Hurricane Katrina.

Camille Martin was born in El Dorado, Arkansas, in 1956 and spent most of her childhood in Lafayette, Louisiana. In 1980 she earned a Master of Music in Piano Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music. In 1996 she received a Master of Fine Arts in Poetry from the University of New Orleans. Her thesis, a collection of poems entitled at peril, passed with distinction. In 2003 she received a PhD in English from Louisiana State University. Her dissertation, Radical Dialectics in the Experimental Poetry of Berssenbrugge, Hejinian, Harryman, Weiner, and Scalapino, won the Lewis P. Simpson Distinguished Dissertation Award. She has received grants for poetry from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, the Canada Council for the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council, the Toronto Arts Council, and the League of Canadian Poets.

Barry Webster (born 3 March 1935 in Sheffield, England) is a former professional footballer who played in The Football League for Rotherham United and Bradford City. He was a member of Rotherham's 1961 Football League Cup Final team. After leaving Bradford, he joined Buxton.
