Plot
Set in the post-Apocalyptic Southwest seven years after the outbreak of a deadly and unstoppable virus, Zompyre Rising tells the dramatic and action-packed story of a small band of survivors who face relentlessly insurmountable odds. As their numbers dwindle and infighting threatens to tear the survivors apart, new hope is found that may be the very key to mankind's survival. But as they soon discover, they are not alone; they are being watched, and the virus might not be the biggest threat to their survival after all.
You never know what could happen in a warehouse...
Plot
When a small, mysterious meteorite strikes in a suburban neighborhood, no one takes much notice. But when the undead suddenly walk the Earth, embarking on bloodthirsty and infectious rampages, changing once proud population centers into apocalyptic wastelands, eyebrows begin to raise. Five years later, a surviving group of rag-tag survivors fought for their survival in the only way they knew how: by taking steps to ensure they survive. Led by the always angry Zeke (Stefan Beck), these clichés had lost everything, except each other. Featuring an original and ensemble cast including Cory Bourland, Laura Dumas, and Chase Burnett, this semi-full length adventure from visionary filmmaker Jordan Funderburk, and the twisted mind of screenwriter Matt Hulme, "Zompyres: Texas" is the tale of lost souls, of children, and of glory. Maybe. This is the tale of the Zompyres.

Where Will You Be When It All Goes Down?
A Tale of Lost Souls, of Children, and of Glory. This is the Tale of the Zompyres.
Plot
On a distant planet, a power hungry Leprechaun kidnaps a Dominian princess, Princess Zarina, and plans to make himself king, but not if a bumbling brigade of space marines have anything to say about it. Their commander is a mad scientist by the name of Dr. Mittenhand, who's half machine thanks to one of his "experiments". Once on the planet, Leprechaun is blown up, but quickly is reborn through one of the marines (ala Alien) and wreaks havoc aboard the ship, meanwhile Dr. Mittenhand plans to use the princess for his experiments to make himself whole again. But now, after many of the marines are killed, Leprechaun turns Dr. Mittenhand into a grotesque monster and plans to blow up the ship. The remaining marines have to stop his evil plans and blow *him* up.

One small step for man. One giant leap of terror!
Princess Zarina: The King is dead. Long live the Queen.
Dr. Mittenhand: [after mutating into the Spider] FLIES! I need, flies!
Leprechaun: Your shrieks, my dear, provide a perfect accompaniment to this romantic evening.
Dr. Mittenhand: No one leaves this ship unless I so say! Say so.
Harold: May I say what an honor is is to be working with such a great genius?::Dr. Mittenhand: And may I say how much I loathe and despise toadies like you?::Harold: Thank you. And may I say what an honor it is to be despised by such a magnificent mind?::Dr. Mittenhand: Oh, shut up.
Tina: Don't get too excited, boys. On the planet Dominia, when a woman of royal blood shows you her breasts, it's a death sentence.::Sticks: And what part of her anatomy is she gonna kill me with?
Sticks: Man. Twenty-first century and they still can't dance.
[Dolores is hanging from the catwalk]::Leprechaun: Do ya like hangin' around, eh? [bashes one of her hands] Well there's no future in that!
Leprechaun: As Shakespeare said, shit happens.
Leprechaun: [pulling a pistol and imitating John Wayne] Hold it right there, pilgrim. I'm not gonna hurt ya. Naw, I'm not gonna hurt ya. [fires gun] The hell I'm not!
A book is a set of written, printed, illustrated, or blank sheets, made of ink, paper, parchment, or other materials, usually fastened together to hinge at one side. A single sheet within a book is called a leaf, and each side of a leaf is called a page. A book produced in electronic format is known as an electronic book (e-book).
Books may also refer to works of literature, or a main division of such a work. In library and information science, a book is called a monograph, to distinguish it from serial periodicals such as magazines, journals or newspapers. The body of all written works including books is literature. In novels and sometimes other types of books (for example, biographies), a book may be divided into several large sections, also called books (Book 1, Book 2, Book 3, and so on). A lover of books is usually referred to as a bibliophile or, more informally, a bookworm.
A store where books are bought and sold is a bookstore or bookshop. Books can also be borrowed from libraries. In 2010, Google estimated that since the invention of printing, approximately 130,000,000 unique titles had been published.
The Books were an American duo, formed in New York City in 1999, consisting of guitarist and vocalist Nick Zammuto and cellist Paul de Jong. Their releases typically incorporate samples of obscure sounds and speech. They have released three critically acclaimed albums on the German label Tomlab, and released their fourth studio album, The Way Out, on Temporary Residence Limited in July 2010.
Zammuto and de Jong first met in New York City in 1999 as they shared the same apartment building. De Jong invited Zammuto to dinner at his apartment, where he played him some of his collection of audio and video samples, including a Shooby Taylor record. Zammuto said of their meeting that "we both kind of knew at that moment that we listened (to music) in interesting ways and had similar approaches to music." Soon after, they began playing what they considered to be pop music, in comparison to their own works, under the name The Books.
In 2000, The Books started work on what would become their début album Thought for Food. Zammuto and de Jong moved locations constantly during this time, recording in New York, Los Angeles, Boston, and finally in the basement of a hostel in North Carolina where Zammuto worked for a while after hiking the Appalachian Trail.
And I have a pot full of coins and above it hangs a picture
Of a brother and a sister there's been a wedding
Black painted floorboards and a stench like wet cardboard
This is the dead smell of another winter
And I don't want to be bound up like books
I don't want to be a sad ornament of a place
They are bound up like books I don't want to be a picture frame
A house full of things some of which they hadn't seen
Since they bought the sodding things in 1980 something
If only their place had a little more space
And a little less waste that would be then something
If only their house looked like those in books
If only their cupboards didn't look like Mother Hubbards
And I don't want to be bound up like books
I don't want to be a sad ornament of her place
They are bound up like books I don't want to be the picture frame
No book in this house went unread
An old cup an old plate and in this house
Absolutely everything seems out of place
Out of place there were pictures on the walls
Just to hide the faults there were pictures on walls
And a friendly old ghost that'll haunt me 'till the day
That I die I have a pot full of coins and
Above it hangs a picture of a brother and a sister there's *wedding* and
Black painted floorboards and a stench like wet cardboard
This is the dead smell of another winter

Maestro, as you paint this picture would you tell me

Now the cross, the mystical vertical cross.
Out of black paint,

a cross comes down from the top left hand side of the
canvas.

he has just thrown a bunch of gold paint which has not
only hit me in the face,

but has gone across the canvas to the applause of the

Alright now, shhhh, I have the nicest surprise for you,
but you first must wash your face and get ready...
(splashing) hmmm, hmmm, hmmm...
Listen carefully... shhh. I want to tell you a story
about Hip Hop.
Hello little Hip Hop.
The flowers liked Hip Hop, and Hip Hop liked the
flowers. (Yes.)
He lived with his sister, Skip Hop (La la la...)
and his brother, Slide Hop. (Hey.)
He never rests. He beats and whirrs and whirrs so fast
that you can't
tell what he looks like. (Thump thump, prrrrrr, click
click, quack.)
Little Hip Hop started to hop, Skip Hop didn't know
when they would
ever stop. Hip Hop for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Look at all the pretty flowers... (Acht, zeven, zes,
grapefruit.)
One day, Hip Hop took a deep breath, shut his eyes, and
jumped...
"ahhhhh!"
Poor Hip Hop, there was was, right in your house...
ooooh.
("Be careful!", "Hello Canada!", "...like Buddhists",
"That's all-natural.", "Nein!", "Gesichts-massage.")
"I closed my eyes and jumped until... Thump!
I didn't mean to hop into your home, really I didn't!"
One small tear came. "Stop crying little Hip Hop,
I'm glad you came to see me. I get lonesome
with no one to make me laugh. Ho ho ho!"
And off they went with a hop and a hip,
a skip and a slide, all happy inside.
Their heads bobbed up and down...
How funny he looks, jumping up and down, whirling in
the air...
and the flowers love him. He's always around some
flowers.
Now you see the trouble little Hip Hop got into.
It was all because he didn't look where he hopped...
and even the flowers talk to each other, like people
but the sounds they make are different.
Yes and no are just distinguished by

We know to fear what others fear

The books suggest we set our hearts
on doing nothing,
and then nothing's left undone.
Everybody's busy waiting for the go-ahead,
but by then their heads are gone.
Our minds are empty, grave as well as
strange. (Take this.)
We know to seek success is utter nonsense.
The best is to be blank.

most of all the world is a place
where parts of wholes are described
whithin an overarching paradigm of clarity
and accuracy
the context of which makes possible
an underlying sense of the way it all fits together
despite our collective tendency not to conceive of it
as such
but then again
the world without end
is a place where souls are combined
but with an overbearing feeling of disparity,
disorderliness
to ignore is impossible
without getting oneself
into all kinds of trouble
despite one's best intentions
not to get entangled with it so much
and meanwhile the statues are bleeding green
and others are saying things
much better than we ever could
as the quiet becomes suddenly verbose
and the hail is heralding the size of nickles,
and the street corners are gnashing together
like gears inside the head

and downward flows the garnered wisdom
that has never died
when finally we opened the box
we couldn't find any rules
our heads were reeling with a glut of possibilities,
contingencies
but with ever increasing faith
we decided to go ahead and just ingnore them
despite tremendous pressure to capitulate and fade
so instead we went ahead
to fabricate a catalog
of unstable elements
and modicums
and particles with non-zero total strangeness
for brief moments which amount
to nothing more than tiny fragments of a finger snap
and meanwhile we're furiously sleeping green
and the map has started tearing along it's creases
due to overuse
when in reality, it's never needed folds
and the air's witholding the sound
of its wellspring,
and our heads are approaching a density
reminiscent of the connectivity
of the center of the sun

that has never died

The modern town hardly knows silence.
You are doing something the whole world is doing.
You know I simply
cannot understand people.
Oh, how sadly we mortals are decieved
by our own imagination.
This is not real life; this is, for us
aleatoric television,
a mixed consort of soft instruments.
A culture is no better than its woods:
a feeling of being connected with the past.
Look at it this way: you may fall and break your leg,
and so one leg is shorter than the other.
Eat rye straw
Leave, withdraw
Drink ink tea
Stay with me
Fame stay shy
By way of why
Wait, lie low
Old ones' odd odes

Read, read on
Breathe, be calm
You're gone, gone on
it's strange to see how time agrees to slow down for owls
with knees.

He saw Mars but he felt Neptune,
he had hoped to feel a certain strong emotion but this
is all they had to say:
"I was the son of a man, and so we came together and we
shook hands."
"We shook hands."
He often wondered what a million people would look like
scattered randomly
across a moonless sky, and how unlikely it would be
that they would all just say the
obvious thing:
"You may call me brother now."
"Yes, brother, I know."
He is forty two,
five-feet-eight-inches tall,
normally wears his curly hair long.
He has a ruddy complexion, broad shoulders and is
barrel-chested,
is unusually strong.
He frequently wears a full beard and sometimes glasses.
He is a college graduate, a talented artist, and
sculptor.
Now, Maps is a soft-spoken loner, who resents society
and all organizations.
Maps fancies himself a ladies' man.
He is an avid chess player, smokes cigarettes, and a
pipe.
He is a beer drinker and loves to eat.
Maps is a man of widespread interests, who might very
well be living abroad.
He felt lost but he felt pretty intensely good,
and he woke up screaming having dreamed of a color he
had never seen before:
"I went to bed and to sleep, it was so unexpected, it
really was frightening, and I saw
pretty much
the same thing embedded in my pillow."
He had no trouble recognizing patterns in the most
delicate arrays of tangled lines,
but he had a strange fixation on partaking in nefarious
things:
"Stealing, lying, cheating, gambling, fornicate..."
He saw red, but he thought five.
He was pleased to find his road trip was enhanced by
number-color synesthesia:
"My trusty Rosinante bounds along the road very well,
leaving the friendly aroma of donuts and
chicken tenders hanging in the desert air."
He willed away the miles while quixotically attempting
to reclaim his inner child,
he was embrangled and enmeshed in something far too
loud to comprehend:
"I want all of the American people to understand that
it is
understandable that the American
yeah... and if it's a wall, then you should cast a
shadow.
or maybe possibly, it's a thought you think is true,
when you appear to be: belief, belief.
I never loved a wall so much.
hey yeah...
asleep in a chair,
where the two go click.
Look at the floor, flat pattern order.
oh, it's the great power one receives from a very modest
source,
oh, and you don't feel a thing,
(In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the lion sleeps
tonight.)
A cold freezin' night.
Oh, Baby.
Kill em'. I wish I was a boy.
A cold freezin' night.
Oh, Baby.
Ah, Ow, Ah, Ow.
C'mon, Clap, clap, clap.
Alright that's the attitude.
Ow, Ow, Ow, Ow, Ah, Ow.
And, I wish I was a boy.
A cold freezin' night.
Holy cow!
Why do you always get away with things?
It's not fair, I tell ya. It's not fair.
I wanna blow your brains out with...
I am gonna kill you.
I need to think of something, so you stay alive
as long as I want you to, because so I can kill you.
You are such an idiot idiot idiot idiot.
I can kill you with a rifle...
a shotgun, any way I want to.
Probably by cutting your toes off and working my way
towards your brain.
A cold freezin' night. Oh, Baby.
Oh, sing with me! Sing with me!
Boys do tougher than girls, I know that.
And, I wish I was a boy.
And he is a asshole.
He is that asshole.
He's takin' a box off of his asshole.
I wish I was a boy.
Kill 'em.
I'm gonna kill you.
I'm gonna rip your hair off.
You're gonna be bald, and everybody's gonna think...
Ay! A cold freezin' night.
Oh, Baby.
Ah, Ow, Ah, Ow.
Sing with me! Sing with me!
I believe I can soar.
Ayo, Uh! Ay.
Shake your booty.
(giant swordfight)
You are such a NERD.
Asshole.
I wish I was a boy.
You're gonna get busted.
Kill 'em! Dead.
I'm gonna kill you, I'm gonna rip your hair off.
You're gonna be bald, and everybody's gonna think:
"Eh, look at Meredith, she's an idiot, ha ha ha."
(Yo, hey _______ a nerd. You're a nerd! Ha ha ha ha
God I'm scared to think back
About everything that has come before me
Our time and future histories
My I've wandered this library for years now
Killing time whilst time slowly killed me
But I know
Time, time is precious
And time will forget us
And time, time is precious
And time will forget us.
Time, time is precious
You said you couldn't find anyone to love you
I said there's more to life than a broken heart dear console you
I've seen it in your eyes
And I've read it in books
Who wants love
Without the looks
Well you said I spend my life chasing rainbows
Oh I said that's a cliché phrase and anyway I like it when the rain goes
I've seen it in your eyes
And IÂ've read it in books
Who wants love
Without the looks
And I came a long way before I came across the sea
Oh I did love for you and what did you do for me
Oh but I'm gonna be strong
And it's getting much stronger
it may take a week
But it won't be longer
