Plot
Rancher Dan Evans heads into Bisbee to clear up issues concerning the sale of his land when he witnesses the closing events of a stagecoach robbery led by famed outlaw Ben Wade. Shortly thereafter, Wade is captured by the law in Bisbee and Evans finds himself one of the escorts who will take Wade to the 3:10 to Yuma train in Contention for the reward of $200. Evans's effort to take Wade to the station is in part an effort to save his land but also part of an inner battle to determine whether he can be more than just a naive rancher in the eyes of his impetuous and gunslinging son William Evans. The transport to Contention is hazardous and filled with ambushes by Indians, pursuits by Wade's vengeful gang and Wade's own conniving and surreptitious demeanor that makes the ride all the more intense.

Time waits for one man
Ben Wade: [Surveying the wreckage of the war wagon] Well, would you look at all this? You all spared no expense this time, Byron. I gotta say, though, it's probably cheaper just to let me rob the damn thing.
Ben Wade: Remind me never to play poker in this town.
Alice Evans: Ben Wade has a gang and they're out there tonight, somewhere.::Dan Evans: If I don't go, we gotta pack up and leave. Now I'm tired, Alice. I'm tired of watching my boys go hungry. I'm tired of the way that they look at me. I'm tired of the way that you don't.
Dan Evans: What time is it?::Ticket Clerk: About ten past three.::Dan Evans: Where's the 3:10 to Yuma?::Ticket Clerk: Running late, I suppose.::Ben Wade: Goddamn trains. Never can rely on 'em, huh?
Charlie Prince: I hate posses.
Butterfield: Twenty-two robberies. Over four hundred thousand dollars in losses. More in delays. The Southern Pacific will have Ben Wade convicted in a federal court. Hanged in public. An example made. And we will pay to make it happen.::Ben Wade: Y'all notice he didn't mention any of the lives I've taken.
Ben Wade: So, boys - where we headed?::Byron McElroy: Taking you to the 3:10 to Yuma day after tomorrow.::Tucker: Shouldn't have told him that.::Ben Wade: Relax, friend. Now if we get separated, I'll know where to meet up.
Alice Evans: He's a killer, Daniel.::Dan Evans: Then someone ought to have the decency to bring him to justice.
Dan Evans: You say one more word, and I'll cut you down right here.::Ben Wade: I like this side of you, Dan.
Dan Evans: You're so sure that your crew's comin' to get you?::Byron McElroy: They're lost without him; like a pack of dogs without a master.

Alice Jane Evans (born 2 August 1971)[disputed – discuss] is a British actress.
Evans, the daughter of educators and the granddaughter of a coal miner, was born in New Jersey to British parents, but raised in Bristol, England. She graduated from University College London with a 2:1 in French and Italian.
After graduation, she moved to Paris to study acting at the Cours Florent. She gained work in French television, with her break through role as French student Nathalie, in the successful 1998 Italian mini-series Le ragazze di Piazza di Spagna. Her very first role was in the 1996 video game MegaRace 2, where she was cast in a small, unnamed role. After making her first film Monsieur Naphtali (1999), Oscar-winning director Claude Lelouch cast Evans as Macha in Une pour toutes (1999).
In 1999, Disney cast her alongside Glenn Close, Gérard Depardieu and Ioan Gruffudd (her future husband) in 102 Dalmatians. Evans' mother died at age 59 the day before Evans's final screen test for the role. The role introduced to her native British audience, and Blackball alongside James Cromwell and Vince Vaughn. After the latter film's critical success but commercial failure, she moved to Los Angeles in 2003, and has since appeared in both television and film.
Ioan Gruffudd (Welsh pronunciation: [ˈjo.an ˈɡrɪfɪð] ( listen); born 6 October 1973) is a Welsh actor.
Having trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, he started off in Welsh language film productions, then came to international attention as Fifth Officer Harold Lowe in the film Titanic (1997), and as Lt. John Beales in Black Hawk Down (2001). However, he is probably best known for playing the role of Horatio Hornblower in Hornblower, the British made-for-TV films (1998–2003) based on C. S. Forester's novels.
Gruffudd's other film roles include Lancelot in King Arthur (2004), Mister Fantastic (Reed Richards) in Fantastic Four (2005) and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), and British anti-slavery abolitionist William Wilberforce in Amazing Grace (2006). He played Tony Blair in W. (2008). He played the role of Andrew Martin in the US thriller television series, Ringer until the show's cancellation in 2012.
Gruffudd was born on 6 October 1973 in Llwydcoed, near Aberdare, Cynon Valley, in the county borough of Rhondda Cynon Tâf, south Wales. Gruffudd's parents, Peter and Gillian (née James) Griffiths, were both teachers. His father was headmaster at two Welsh comprehensive schools in South Wales, first at Ysgol Gyfun Llanhari then later at Ysgol Gyfun Rhydfelen. He has two siblings; a brother, Alun, who is two years younger, and a sister, Siwan, who is seven years younger than he is. Gruffudd was raised in a Protestant non-conformist household.
William John Evans, known as Bill Evans (August 16, 1929–September 15, 1980) was an American jazz pianist. His use of impressionist harmony, inventive interpretation of traditional jazz repertoire, and trademark rhythmically independent, "singing" melodic lines influenced a generation of pianists. He is considered by some to be the most influential post-World War II jazz pianist. Evans had a distinct playing posture in which his neck would often be stooped very low, and his face parallel to the piano.
Evans is an inductee of the Down Beat Jazz Hall of Fame.
Bill Evans was born in Plainfield, New Jersey, United States, to a mother of Rusyn ancestry and a father of Welsh descent. He received his first musical training at his mother's church. Evans' mother was an amateur pianist with an interest in modern classical composers, and Evans began classical piano lessons at age six. He also became a proficient flautist by age 13 and could play the violin.
At age 12, Evans filled in for his older brother Harry in Buddy Valentino's band. At this age he was able to interpret classical music, but he couldn't improvise. In the beginning, he played exactly what was written in the sheet, but soon started trying to improvise, while learning about harmonies in the songs and how to alter them. Meanwhile, he was playing dance music (and jazz) at home, in a recording studio he built in his family's basement.. In the late 1940s, Evans played boogie woogie in various New Jersey clubs. He attended Southeastern Louisiana University on a music scholarship, and in 1950 performed Beethoven's Third Piano Concerto on his senior recital there, graduating with a degree in piano performance and teaching. He was also among the founding members of SLU's Delta Omega Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, and played quarterback for the fraternity's football team, helping them win the school's 1949 intramural tournament.
Richard Egarr is a British keyboard performer , on the harpsichord, fortepiano and modern piano , and conductor. He received his musical training as a choirboy at York Minster, at Chetham's School of Music in Manchester, and as organ scholar at Clare College, Cambridge. His study with Gustav Leonhardt further inspired his work in the field of historical performance.
Egarr has worked with all types of keyboards and performed repertoire ranging from fifteenth-century organ intabulations to Dussek and Chopin on early pianos, to Berg and Maxwell Davies on modern piano. In 2006 he was appointed to succeed Christopher Hogwood as Music Director of The Academy of Ancient Music with effect from the start of the 2006–07 season (Hogwood assuming the title of Emeritus Director). For many years he was director of the Amsterdam-based Academy of the Begijnhof. A regular guest director with such other ensembles as Handel and Haydn Society and Tafelmusik, he is increasingly sought-after by non-period orchestras ranging from the Scottish, Swedish and Australian chamber orchestras to the Rotterdam Philharmonic, Berlin Konzerthausorchester, and Dallas Symphony Orchestra. He conducts a broad range of repertoire from Monteverdi to Mendelssohn. The Handel and Bach oratorios lie at the heart of his repertoire, andhe has a growing reputation in the operatic field – current plans include Mozart’s La finta giardiniera with the Academy of Ancient Music at the Barbican Centre and the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, and Rossini's Il Signor Bruschino with the Netherlands Opera Academy. He made his Glyndebourne debut in 2007 conducting a staged version of Bach's St Matthew Passion. Richard Egarr is in demand across Europe, Japan and the USA for his scintillating solo and concerto performances. In chamber music, Richard Egarr has also been active. For many years he formed an "unequalled duo for violin and keyboard" (Gramophone) with violinist Andrew Manze.
Peter Jason (born July 22, 1944) is an American actor who performs in many plays, movies, and TV commercials, including Desperate Housewives and Deadwood. He has appeared in 12 Walter Hill films, 7 John Carpenter films, has acted in over 100 commercials and plays, and appeared in many TV shows. He also confirmed that he played the voice of Dizzy Wallin in Gears of War 2 and its sequel, Gears of War 3.
Fans of the Eddie Murphy film 48 Hrs. will remember him as the "Cowboy Bartender" Murphy harasses at the fictional honky-tonk bar "Torchy's".
In 1990 Jason played Henry Beechwood in the horror-comedy Arachnophobia, the first film released by Hollywood Pictures and directed by Frank Marshall.
I saw a flag wave heavy over me
I saw the Virgin
For a moment, I believed
You said you'd save me
But I don't want to be saved
I just want to be loved
And to love always
I felt my lips move
But the words they were not mine
I saw you crying
For a moment I could see
You said you'd save me
But I don't want to be saved, no no
I just want to be loved
And to love always
You said you'd save me
But I don't want to be saved, no no
I just want to be loved
And to love always
Yeah, and it's okay
Well, I know what's confusing me
I know what I want to see
I know where I want to be
Then an angel was flying next to me
No hesitation
For a moment I was free
You said you'd save me
But I don't want to be saved
I just want to be loved
And to love always
All I want is to be loved
And to love always, always
I just want to be loved
And to love always
