The Ballad of Nessie is a 2011 traditionally-animated short film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. It was directed by Stevie Wermers-Skelton and Kevin Deters, and produced by the team behind How to Hook Up Your Home Theater.
The short, narrated by Billy Connolly, is a Disney's adaptation of the origin of the Loch Ness Monster, Nessie.
A legendary and friendly creature named Nessie lives happily in a small pond with her friend MacQuack, a rubber duck. When a rich developer takes the pond and land surrounding it to build a miniature golf course, Nessie is forced to search for a new home. She finds rejection everywhere and is always told to keep a stiff upper lip and not cry. Finally, Nessie loses all hope and starts crying for days, weeks, and months. When she can't cry anymore, she finds that her tears have created the Loch, a beautiful and perfect new home for her and MacQuack.
During the credits we see the golf course has also been flooded, with the developer and his assistants using the sign as a raft. The developer breaks down into tears over his loss.
"The Ballad of John and Yoko" is a song written by John Lennon, attributed to Lennon–McCartney as was the custom, and released by The Beatles as a single in May 1969. The song, chronicling the events surrounding Lennon’s marriage to Yoko Ono, was the Beatles’ 17th and final UK number one single.
The song is a ballad in the traditional sense of a narrative poem in a song, not in the sense used in modern pop music where the term usually refers to a slow, sentimental love song. Authored by Lennon while on his honeymoon in Paris, it tells the events of his marriage (in March 1969) to Ono and their publicly-held honeymoon activities, including their ‘Bed-In’ at the Amsterdam Hilton Hotel and their demonstration of ‘bagism’.
Lennon brought the song to McCartney’s home on 14 April 1969, before recording it that evening.
The song was recorded without George Harrison (who was on holiday) and Ringo Starr (who was filming The Magic Christian). In his biography, McCartney recalls that Lennon had had a sudden inspiration for the song and had suggested that the two of them should record it immediately, without waiting for the other Beatles to return. Reflecting this somewhat unusual situation, the session recordings include the following exchange:
Greyfriars Bobby was a Skye Terrier who became known in 19th-century Edinburgh for spending 14 years guarding the grave of his owner, John Gray (Old Jock), until he died himself on 14 January 1872. A year later, Lady Burdett-Coutts had a statue and fountain erected at the southern end of the George IV Bridge to commemorate him.
Several books and films have been based on Bobby's life, including the novel Greyfriar's Bobby (1912) by Eleanor Atkinson and the films Greyfriars Bobby (1961) and The Adventures of Greyfriars Bobby (2006).
In 2011 Jan Bondeson at Cardiff University published research that suggests Bobby was actually a Victorian-era publicity stunt by local businesses to drum up tourist revenue. According to Bondeson's research, Bobby was a stray dog trained to remain in the graveyard; and was actually two different dogs.
Bobby belonged to John Gray, who worked for the Edinburgh City Police as a night watchman, and the two were inseparable for approximately two years. On 8 February 1858, Gray died of tuberculosis. He was buried in Greyfriars Kirkyard, the graveyard surrounding Greyfriars Kirk in the Old Town of Edinburgh. Bobby, who survived Gray by fourteen years, is said to have spent the rest of his life sitting on his master's grave. Another account[citation needed] has it that he spent a great deal of time at Gray's grave, but that he left regularly for meals at a restaurant beside the graveyard, and may have spent colder winters in nearby houses.
Bobby London (born June 29, 1950 in Brooklyn) is an American underground comix and mainstream comics artist.
London created his underground newspaper comic strip Merton, in his native New York in 1969 and the raunchy Dirty Duck strip in 1971. Dirty Duck had been originally published by the Los Angeles Free Press and subsequently in books like Air Pirates Funnies, and The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers. His non-duck work also appeared in underground titles such as Merton of the Movement, Left Field Funnies, Douglas Comics, Facts O' Life Funnies and El Perfecto Comics. In 1972 London moved Dirty Duck to the original National Lampoon where it was a regular monthly feature until 1976; it continued to run in Playboy for over 25 years.
In 1975, a film entitled Down and Dirty Duck was released. While promoted under the abbreviated title Dirty Duck, the film itself is not related to London's character or comics.
In 1978, London won the Jury Yellow Kid Award for Best Artist-Writer, contributed illustrations to The New York Times Op-Ed page from 1976 to 1981, and wrote and drew the Popeye syndicated daily comic strip for King Features from 1986 to 1992, at which point he was fired for doing an allegory about abortion.

Narrator: Where do you go when there's no more hope?
There are 8 billion people in this world
8 billion lives are changing
Never felt so alone
Would you consider me inspite of this?
I'm always the one who loses
Would you make me better?
How, how, how will we make this work?
Why do you have to be so far?
It's all clear now I'm gonna keep you
Like flowing water into forever
That look is all I need to get by
Like living in some illusion
I never felt so alive
I know that there will be flaws around us
The silly wars that we'll be fighting
Yes, I'll be fighting
How, how, how will we make this work?
Why do you have to be so far?
It's all clear now I'm gonna keep you
Like flowing water into forever
It's all clear now I'm gonna keep you
Like flowing water into forever
Into forever now
I'll be the one who holds you dear
There are 8 billion people in this world
Jesus was born in 1979
The kind of guy has something nice
He found out he'd like to kiss some girls
That's when Devil got in his world
Devil was 29 years old
When she found this pretty boy
Things went colloured inside her world
'cos Jesus was all she was looking for
Jesus promised to go to Devils's place
He never thought he was going out of his way
24 years old, pretty young faced though
He was really near to finally fall in love
She set the table up waiting for him
She's never thought good on bad was a sin
She'd promise him a weding ring
But suddenly the phone has started to sing
"hello there, this is from the Police
I'm sorry but we have some bad news"
That's when Devil started to cry
From that moment on she hoped she dies
Jesus got lost on his way to Devil's home
He was trying to find out what was going wrong
His car went out of control
He crashed agaist a wall
