Leonard Casey

Leonard Francis Casey was born 7 May 1888 in Dunedin and died 8 October 1964 in Christchurch. He was a New Zealand cricketer who played for the Otago in the Plunket Shield.

Casey Carswell

Kim "K.C./Casey" Carswell was a fictional character in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street. She was played by actress Zoe Henry, making her first appearance on 16 March 2007. Casey was one of the women Claire Peacock met through her voluntary phone counselling; she had lost her baby. Her character has noted to the police that her nickname is K.C. not Casey, using the first letter in her first name and second name respectively.

Storylines

On 1 April 2007, Claire left her new friend Casey babysitting her son, Freddie, while she went out. When she returned, Freddie and Casey had gone so she panicked and called the police, worried that Casey had kidnapped him. She was worried as she had met Casey through her work on the phone lines of a support group for women that had miscarriages. However, Casey explained that she had taken Freddie out for a drive as he wouldn't settle but was upset that Claire had called the police and left just as they arrived. However in June, Casey was seen stalking Claire, and was thought to be responsible for the fire at 4 Coronation Street. When her photograph appeared in the Weatherfield Gazette and on the news, she went to the police and was released without charge and then confronted Claire.

Abra, Kadabra, and Alakazam

Abra, Kadabra, and Alakazam, known in Japan as Casey (ケーシィ, Kēshii), Yungerer (ユンゲラー, Yungerā), and Foodin (フーディン, Fūdin), are three Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise that are linked through evolution. Abra evolves into Kadabra after gaining enough experience in battle, and Kadabra evolves into Alakazam after being traded to another trainer. Created by Ken Sugimori, they first appeared in the video games Pokémon Red and Blue and later appear in subsequent sequels. They have appeared in various merchandise, spinoff titles and animated and printed adaptations of the franchise. Known as the Psi Pokémon, using self-hypnosis, Abra spends 18 hours a day sleeping, unable to utilize its abilities unless rested. This behavior ceases once it evolves into Kadabra, a strong psychic that emits alpha waves affected by its current mental state. Able to remember everything, Alakazam's IQ is around 5000 and can outperform a supercomputer. Alakazam is one of the handful of Pokémon to be given a mega-evolution in generation VI, giving it more strength along with a few physical changes such as a large white moustache.

The name has come to mean "lion strength", "lion-strong", or "lion-hearted". It may also be from the Latin Leo ("lion").
