Tie Liu Wrote Wang Qishan, Exposing Li Changchun's Corruption
Follow us on TWITTER: http://twitter.com/cnforbiddennews Like us on FACEBOOK: http://www.facebook.com/chinaforbiddennews ie Liu, a Mainland Chinese writer who was labeled as a rightist in the past, recently sent a letter to Wang Qishan, Secretary of the central disciplinary department. The letter reports on Li Changchun, former member of Standing Committee, had gotten millions of dollars in bribes for selling official positions. Tie says that 10 years ago, the China Calligraphers Association (CCA) changed its Party branch secretary which obviously breached policy. People in Beijing's academic circles all knew that it was because Li Changchun had taken bribes. In his letter, Tie Liu exposed that in Feb. 2002, Mr. Zhang Biao went from being chief editor for Science and Technology Daily to taking office as the CCA's vice chair and Party branch secretary. The 55-year-old Zhang was the CCA's youngest top leader. The CCA was in dire straits at that time, with no cars, no houses, loosened management and chaotic. It was a place no official liked to go. After Zhang Biao managed the CCA, the situation improved quickly. The CCA rapidly increased its membership, bringing in huge revenue. CCA policy states that chairman of the CCA should stay for at least two election years, and can remain until the age of 70. However, Zhang Biao had worked less than one election year, and he was only 59 when he was replaced by Zhang Hai, chair of the Henan Calligraphers Association. Insiders say that Zhang Hai gave 8 million yuan ($1.3 million) to Li Changchun, later Propaganda Minister Liu Yunshan pressured the CCA to replace Zhang Biao with Zhang Hai. Tie Liu also says that he was recently told by an influential widow and some calligraphy businessmen, that Zhang Hai spent 10 million yuan ($1.6 million) to get his position as CCA chair. Tie Liu says that his letter likely would stir up heated responses. It is also a test for Xi Jinping's "beating big and small tigers at once", and "no exceptions to the death penalty for Politburo Standing Committee members". Tie Liu: "Wang Qishan will certainly reply to me, if not, the central disciplinary department would reply. I signed my real name and left my phone number in the letter." Tie Liu says that after Zhang Hai became chair of the CCA, his calligraphy was immediately worth a lot of money. Four square feet of his work sold for 30,000 yuan ($4,900). Ye Kuangzheng, poet and cultural critic in Mainland China, says that the current the market price increases for calligraphy and Chinese paintings is related to official corruption. Now many officials are masquerading as lovers of culture, resulting in so called "elegant bribery". Ye Kuangzheng: "Once he became CCA chairman, then at the least it will be very easy for him to get artworks by famous calligraphers and artists, it'll be very easy." Ye said that there was huge population of officials in China, each county has demands. Thus officials in calligraphy industry can easily obtain great amount of money. Tie Liu's letter wrote that Li Changchun was notorious. Li committed many bad deeds during his tenure as Henan's provincial Party secretary. He made a fortune from the "blood selling campaign", resulting in the "AIDS disaster" happening in Henan. His daughter Li Tong relied on his influence to carry out private fundraising. His brother Li Changji, former Dalian construction committee leader, helped Fu Yanbin, chair of Dalian-based developer Rightway, to obtain "cheap" land and loans. For example, Fu had made over one hundred million yuan from a Happy Home Project in Shahehou District in Dalian. Tie Liu points out that Li Changchun had a unique relationship with Bo Xilai. Both are connected to ill-earned money and political conspiracy. Thus Li Changchun supported Chongqing's "Singing Red songs, fighting corruption" campaign. People know that Li Changchun is amoral and incompetent, and his promotion had entirely relied on Jiang Zemin. Tie Liu says Li Changchun took a leftist stance politically, living in a corrupt life. Li supported his family members by using his influence to make a fortune. He had covered up officials' corruption, restricted public expression, and persecuted his political opponents. Tie hopes the central disciplinary department will investigate Li Changchun on the issue of official positions selling. Beijing artist Zhui Hun: "If the regime seriously carries out the investigation, its system will collapse. The regime can only let the problem continue to rot at it's root, as it has already rotten." Zhui Hun says that the Chinese Communist Party's authoritarian regime has reached its dead end row. If officials with a conscience dare to talk honestly they will be sacked. 《神韵》2013世界巡演新亮点 http://www.ShenYunPerformingArts.org/- published: 08 Oct 2013

The Mongols
The Mongols
In various times Mongolic peoples have been equated with the Scythians, the Magog and the Tungusic peoples. Based on Chinese historical texts the ancestry of the Mongolic peoples can be traced back to the Donghu, a nomadic confederation occupying eastern Mongolia and Manchuria. The identity of the Xiongnu is still debated today. Although some scholars maintain that they were proto-Mongols, the fact that Chinese histories trace certain Turkic tribes from the Xiongnu complicates the issue.[10] The Donghu, however, can be much more easily labeled proto-Mongol since the Chinese histories trace only Mongolic tribes and kingdoms (Xianbei and Wuhuan peoples) from them, although some historical texts claim a mixed Xiongnu-Donghu ancestry for some tribes (e.g. the Khitan).[11] The Donghu are mentioned by Sima Qian as already existing in Inner Mongolia north of the state of Yan in 699--632 BC along with the Shanrong people. Mentions in the Lost Book of Zhou (Yizhoushu) and the Shanhaijing indicate the Donghu were also active during the Shang dynasty (1600--1046 BC). The Mongolic-speaking Xianbei formed part of the Donghu confederation, but had earlier times of independence, as evidenced by a mention in the Guoyu ("晉語八" section) which states that during the reign of King Cheng of Zhou (reigned 1042--1021 BC) the Xianbei came to participate at a meeting of Zhou subject-lords at Qiyang (岐阳) (now Qishan County) but were only allowed to perform the fire ceremony under the supervision of Chu (楚), since they were not vassals by covenant (诸侯). The Xianbei chieftain was appointed joint guardian of the ritual torch along with Xiong Yi. These early Xianbei came from the nearby Zhukaigou culture (2200--1500 BC) in the Ordos Desert where maternal DNA corresponds to Daurs and Evenks. The Zhukaigou Xianbei (part of the Ordos culture of Inner Mongolia and northern Shaanxi) had trade relations with the Shang dynasty (1600--1046 BC). The Zhou clan lived near the Beidi (who included the Xianbei) for 14 generations before moving to the Central Plains in middle Shaanxi under Gugong Danfu). In the late 2nd century the Han Dynasty scholar Fu Qian (服虔) wrote in his commentary "Jixie" (集解) that "Shanrong and Beidi are ancestors of the present-day Xianbei". Again in Inner Mongolia another closely connected core Mongolic Xianbei region was the Upper Xiajiadian culture (1000--600 BC) where the Donghu confederation was centered. After the Donghu were defeated by Modu Chanyu the Xianbei and Wuhuan survived as the main remnants of the confederation. Tadun Khan of the Wuhuan (died 207 AD) was the ancestor of the proto-Mongolic Kumo Xi.[12] The Wuhuan are of the direct Donghu royal line and the Xin Tangshu directly says that in 209 BC Modu Chanyu defeated the Wuhuan instead of using the word Donghu. The Xianbei however were of the lateral Donghu line and had a somewhat separate identity, although they shared the same language with the Wuhuan. In 49 AD the Mongolic Xianbei ruler Bianhe (Bayan Khan?) raided and defeated the Xiongnu, killing 2000, after having received generous gifts from Emperor Guangwu of Han. The Xianbei reached their peak under Tanshihuai Khan (reigned 156--181) who expanded the vast, but short lived, Xianbei state.- published: 05 Nov 2013

Reuters Reveals China's Princeling Scandals
Follow us on TWITTER: http://twitter.com/cnforbiddennews Like us on FACEBOOK: http://www.facebook.com/chinaforbiddennews On Nov.25th Reuters published an article about the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) princelings' 30 years of corruption. It includes Zhu De's grandson, executed for hooliganism; Yu Zhengsheng's brother's defection; Bo Xilai's murder; and Deng Pufang, son of Deng Xiaoping's corruption. The report said that Zhu Guohua, a grandson of Marshal Zhu De, was executed in the northern port city of Tianjin in 1983 on the charge of hooliganism; Yu Qiangsheng, Yu Zhengsheng's brother, defected to the US in mid-1980s; His defection resulted in the arrest and suicide in custody of China's top mole in the US Central Intelligence Agency; Deng Pufang, wheelchair-bound son of Deng Xiaoping, was embroiled in a financial scandal in the late 1980s. Kang Hua the trading empire he founded, was accused of abusing tax exemption privileges. Later, it was ordered that Kang Hua should be shut down. The report also listed scandals of the CCP princelings; Wang Qishan, Liu Yuan, Bo Xilai and Li Xiaopeng. French Media: The Ren Jianyu Case Leads Request to abolish Labor Camp Re-Education System. On Nov. 26th France's Le Monde newspaper published a story about Ren Jianyu, a village official sent to a labor camp. The article said that Ren Jianyu could be the only one been reported by state media, who was released from labor camp. The article pointed out that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) labor camp system is a casual administrative judicial system mainly for lesser offenses. It is often used as a means by the CCP to suppress the opposition. The large number of Falun Gong practitioners have suffered this suppression punishment. The article also said that Ren Jianyu won wide support on social networking. People are calling for the removal of labor camp system. After Ren's release, it is rare that even state media had expressed their support. Ren Jianyu, graduated university student, was a former village official at Pengshui city in Chongqing. Due to the circulation of some photos and opinions about reform of political system and buying a T-shirt with words "No Freedom, Rather Die", Ren was charged with "inciting subversion of state power". He was sentenced 2 years in a labor camp. Recently, Ren was released and is suing Chongqing Labor Camp Committee. Three Tibetans Self-Immolated Within Two Days Radio Free Asia reported that recently, three self-immolations took place in the Tibetan ethnic area. On Nov. 26th two self-immolation cases occurred: One was in Xiahe County in Gansu, an 18-year-old Tibetan named Kunchok Tsering set himself on fire protesting at the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) rule; he died on site. Another was in Ganziseda County in Sichuan. A 20-year-old Tibetan named Wang Gyal self-immolated. He was quickly taken away by police. Local Tibetans gathered there to pray for him, at present, his situation can't be confirmed. In addition, on Nov. 25th a nun died in Zeku County in Qinghai province after self-immolating at the local council. 《神韵》2011世界巡演新亮点 http://www.ShenYunPerformingArts.org/- published: 27 Nov 2012

Former High Official Wu Guanzheng Challenges Xi Jinping's Rules
Former High Official Wu Guanzheng Challenges Xi Jinping's Rules
Follow us on TWITTER: http://twitter.com/cnforbiddennews Like us on FACEBOOK: http://www.facebook.com/chinaforbiddennews Wu Guanzheng is a former Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Politburo Standing Committee member, and former Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection. Wu recently visited his hometown in Jiangxi, where the local government welcomed him with firecrackers. The highly decorated streets, and events welcoming Wu exceeded those Xi Jinping received during his official trip. This high profile event was prior to the Third Plenary Session of the CCP 18th Central Committee. Analysts believe Wu's intention was to confront Xi Jinping, and his 8 rules. Last year, Xi Jinping spoke of "8 rules" to improve the image of official's. This included phasing out luxury foreign cars, simplifying the reception of officials, with no banners or cheering crowds. 75-year-old Wu Guanzheng visited his hometown in Yugan County, Jiangxi Province on November 2. His wife and family accompanied him. Local Yugan officials welcomed Wu by decorating the streets. When they arrived, firecrackers went off along the streets, which were guarded by police. Luxury cars, such as models of Ferrari, Porsche, Lexus, Mercedes, BMW, and Audi, were seen within Wu Guanzheng's fleet. Street lamps, which were usually switched off, were kept on that day. Local officials also arranged for nearly ten thousand people to welcome Wu's arrival. Reporters called Yugan County city hall. Two officials claimed that they didn't know anything about it, because they were not there that day. Another official acknowledged indirectly about the welcoming event but claimed it was initiated by citizens. Hong Kong based Ming Pao reports that Wu Guanzheng has promoted opposing polices, in comparison to Xi Jinping. Xing Tianxin, commentator: "Corruption has become a tradition in the regime. During Jiang Zemin's era, it was clearly present. Wu Guanzheng's hometown visit demonstrated how local officials have ignored Xi Jinping's 8 rules. Together with the political actions of Xi Jinping and Wang Qishan in the new leadership, this shows the presence of high-level infighting within the CCP." Xing Tianxin said that local officials do not adhere to Xi Jinping's recommendations. Wu Guanzheng is such an example, as even though he no longer holds a post, the events that welcomed him back into his hometown break Xi and Li's leadership rules. Xing Tianxin: "In the arena of power struggles, Wu has a deep political root within Jiang Zemin's faction. This deep-rooted corrupt bureaucracy surely imposes opposition to Xi and Li's leadership." New York based Epoch Times previously reported that Wu Guanzheng earned his political prowess by kowtowing to the former Communist Party leader Jiang Zemin. Website minghui.org also revealed that in a Politburo meeting on June 7, 1999, Jiang Zemin decided to start the persecution of Falun Gong at a pilot site in Shandong. Wu Guanzheng, who was then provincial Party Secretary of Shandong, carried out the persecution order immediately. Falun Gong practitioner Zhang Xingwu was a Professor of Physics in Shandong. At the age of 70, he and his wife were both persecuted by Shandong officials because they practiced Falun Gong. Zhang Shuangying, daughter of Professor Zhang: "They were sent to a brainwashing center, to prison, and a detention center. They were deprived of sleep, food and access to a toilet. On two occasions, they were subjected to forced brainwashing for 6 consecutive days and nights, without any sleep. My mother was completely paralyzed on her left side of her body, but they still continued to torture her." On October 27, 2003, Wu Guanzheng was sued in Cyprus, an island at the junction of Europe and Asia, for crimes against humanity, torture and Genocide. On April 17, 2007, on Wu Guanzheng's visit to Spain, he was once again sued on the same accounts. Analysis suggests that what Jiang Zemins faction fears most is the full exposure of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Jiang's faction uses the survival of the Communist regime as an excuse to conduct political fights against Hu Jintao, Wen Jiabao, and Xi Jinping. The purpose is to continue his persecution, and avoid the faction crumbling, by trying to extend the term of their political power. Xing Tianxin believes that internal power struggles have intensified within the Communist Party. Wu Guanzheng's opposition of Xi's eight rules is just tip of the iceberg . 《神韵》2013世界巡演新亮点 http://www.ShenYunPerformingArts.org/- published: 06 Nov 2013
