Me and a few mates took a trip to London to watch the New Years' fireworks. Although we are all Freerunners and did plan to train a lot while we were there, it rained most of the trip so we didn't get much training done. Instead, we found ourselves doing some stupid stuff and having a great laugh along the way! So here it is.. what us Welsh people got up to in London at New Years. Me and a few mates took a trip to London to watch the New Years' fireworks. Although we are all Freerunners and did plan to train a lot while we were there, it rained most of the trip so we didn't get much training done. Instead, we found ourselves doing some stupid stuff and having a great laugh along the way! So here it is.. what us Welsh people got up to in London at New Years.

Anthony Williams has been researching the archaeology of Garndiffaith and surrounding areas since the 1980's. His friend Dennis Nash was working on a building site as a labourer in Garndiffaith in 1968. Whilst digging the foundations for new council housing, Denis and his workmates uncovered a huge lead slab buried several feet under the ground. The slab was positioned over the apex of a uniform stone structure which resembled an ancient pyramid. Until now this incredible story has been kept from public view. In this programme Dennis and Anthony examine maps of the local area looking for clues to the ancient archaeology of this mysterious site. Anthony is seeking permission to have the area excavated in an attempt to discover what could be records of some of the oldest known civilisations in Britain.

This was the first match of the Welsh tour of Argentina. In the late 1960s, the Welsh toured Argentina. It wasn't very easy and back then, it was very hard to win a match against the Argentines at their turf. The Scottish and Welsh tours in the late 60s proved it all. France started touring Argentina in the late 40s. France did not become a IRFB (now IRB) member until 1978. In this first match, the Welsh took on Argentine champions Belgrano. People think rugger wasn't a rough game back then and the tragedy at this match proved that it was a very rough sport to play back then. Miguel Cole, a Belgrano forward, died after he suffered a fatal injury in this match. He left the field when the game was nearly over. BBC Wales paid a tribute to him after this match and Welsh rugger fans remembered him from the '67 Belgrano tour of Argentina. Enjoy the match.

We see a selection of the clips that I took from a holiday I went on at Porthmadog between the 13-16th August 2014. On the way down from Preston we visited the Bala Lake railway where Maid Marian was hauling services. I had a ride and did a fairly good lineside shot. We then went to the Campsite and slept the night. We then drove down to the Tallylyn Railway and got on at Twyn Wharf and sat with some american couple and a few screaming kids. We decided to get off at Dolgoch and take a few shots around the station and look at the lovely waterfall. We see a selection of the clips that I took from a holiday I went on at Porthmadog between the 13-16th August 2014. On the way down from Preston we visited the Bala Lake railway where Maid Marian was hauling services. I had a ride and did a fairly good lineside shot. We then went to the Campsite and slept the night. We then drove down to the Tallylyn Railway and got on at Twyn Wharf and sat with some american couple and a few screaming kids. We decided to get off at Dolgoch and take a few shots around the station and look at the lovely waterfall. We took a video of Tom Rolt leaving, Duncan crossing the impressive viaduct and the other one going under. We then waited for tom rolt to return, The unfortunate thing being that we were told in advance that the service was heavily loaded. We then attempted to get in. A posh old arrogant woman would not let us in so we asked the guard if we could get in the halts only coach, He kindly agreed. We then spent the journey up until the 3rd halt from Tywn Wharf with a family of posh people who kept constantly reading out the words ''This is a halt only'' ect. We then heard one of the younger children saying ''Maybe they don't know what a halt is''. They then kept bragging to each other that they were members and knew absolutely everything about everything. After they got off it was a very pleasant ride and everything great I expected about the fantastic railway. We then ventured to Fairbourne via the coast and I took some lineside footage and footage of them putting the Darjeeling locomotive back in the shed with turntable problems. Then we got ready for the final day of Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland travel. Now, I'm too tired to finish this! Just watch the video and see for yourself! :)

We see a very clean Tangmere pass through platform 4 running 64 mins early. The locomotive was originally due at 08:32 and was supposed to stop until 09:22 where it would leave for Crewe and onwards to Southall. Apologies for the going out of shot moment, I had difficulties with the stills camera!

It's no mystery. We're making history. We're winning victory...
Saturday's march was historic. There has never ever been a march of this size in support of Palestinian freedom in Wales.
I have seen estimates of 5000 people marching. Thanks to everyone who made it happen. The carnage over the last fortnight is galvanising a new global solidarity movement of unprecedented breadth, depth and determination. The next step is protesting on Thursday at 5.30 at the offices of BBC Wales in Llandaff to call for BBC national coverage to start telling it like it is. Event page will be created soon. We are also showing a documentary film, 'Roadmap to Apartheid' on the parallels between apartheid in South Africa and Israel on Tuesday at 6.30pm in the Unite Building on 1 Cathedral Road.
Unfortunately a few reports have appeared that rather than focus on 5000 people marching in a spirit of unity instead zoom in on an incident that took place yesterday, that many who marched won't have been aware of, to give a completely misleading impression of our historic march that does not reflect the experience of most of the few thousand people on the streets yesterday
The protest didn't 'turn violent' rather it was the victim of violent and criminal behaviour. There were many young children and babies present and it is lucky none were hurt.
Demonstrators spontaneously held back people who quite naturally wanted to respond to such disgusting behaviour from racists made more confident perhaps in the poisonous atmosphere created by UKIP and others. It was a testimony to the discipline of demonstrators that no major confrontation took place.

Saturday's march was historic. There has never ever been a march of this size in support of Palestinian freedom in Wales.
I have seen estimates of 5000 people marching. Thanks to everyone who made it happen. The carnage over the last fortnight is galvanising a new global solidarity movement of unprecedented breadth, depth and determination. The next step is protesting on Thursday at 5.30 at the offices of BBC Wales in Llandaff to call for BBC national coverage to start telling it like it is. Event page will be created soon. We are also showing a documentary film, 'Roadmap to Apartheid' on the parallels between apartheid in South Africa and Israel on Tuesday at 6.30pm in the Unite Building on 1 Cathedral Road.
Unfortunately a few reports have appeared that rather than focus on 5000 people marching in a spirit of unity instead zoom in on an incident that took place yesterday, that many who marched won't have been aware of, to give a completely misleading impression of our historic march that does not reflect the experience of most of the few thousand people on the streets yesterday

The Welsh 3000s are 15 mountains in Wales that have a height of 3000 ft (914.4m) or more. Geographically they fall within three ranges, Snowdon Massif, Glyderau and Carneddau. The length of this walk is 26 miles (42 km). Most people complete the route in 24 hours, in a challenge known as the Welsh 3000s challenge. Accompanied with Dan Bowden, we completed the route in a leisurely five days.
The walk is also known as "The 14 Peaks": Carnedd Gwenllian (or "Garnedd Uchaf") is not always included, as it has the least relative height, being little more than a bump on the ridge rather than a separate summit in its own right. Many people choose to make the small diversion to include it on their traverse. There is also an option to include a sixteenth top, Castell y Gwynt in the Glyder range, which has been reclassified as a Nuttall since a survey in 2007.
We did not climb all of the mountains along the route as we were carrying 14-15kg rucksacks. We missed out, Garnedd Ugain, Crib Goch and Pen yr ole Wen. Once again, my apologies for incorrect pronunciation of Welsh place names.
This is our Welsh 3000's trip, I hope you enjoy watching our journey.

We see a selection of the clips that I took from a holiday I went on at Porthmadog between the 13-16th August 2014. On the way down from Preston we visited the Bala Lake railway where Maid Marian was hauling services. I had a ride and did a fairly good lineside shot. We then went to the Campsite and slept the night. We then drove down to the Tallylyn Railway and got on at Twyn Wharf and sat with some american couple and a few screaming kids. We decided to get off at Dolgoch and take a few shots around the station and look at the lovely waterfall. We took a video of Tom Rolt leaving, Duncan crossing the impressive viaduct and the other one going under. We then waited for tom rolt to return, The unfortunate thing being that we were told in advance that the service was heavily loaded. We then attempted to get in. A posh old arrogant woman would not let us in so we asked the guard if we could get in the halts only coach, He kindly agreed. We then spent the journey up until the 3rd halt from Tywn Wharf with a family of posh people who kept constantly reading out the words ''This is a halt only'' ect. We then heard one of the younger children saying ''Maybe they don't know what a halt is''. They then kept bragging to each other that they were members and knew absolutely everything about everything. After they got off it was a very pleasant ride and everything great I expected about the fantastic railway. We then ventured to Fairbourne via the coast and I took some lineside footage and footage of them putting the Darjeeling locomotive back in the shed with turntable problems. Then we got ready for the final day of Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland travel. Now, I'm too tired to finish this! Just watch the video and see for yourself! :) Thanks for Watching We see a very clean Tangmere pass through platform 4 running 64 mins early. The locomotive was originally due at 08:32 and was supposed to stop until 09:22 where it would leave for Crewe and onwards to Southall. Thanks to everyone who made it happen. The carnage over the last fortnight is galvanising a new global solidarity movement of unprecedented breadth, depth and determination. The next step is protesting on Thursday at 5.30 at the offices of BBC Wales in Llandaff to call for BBC national coverage to start telling it like it is. Event page will be created soon. We are also showing a documentary film, 'Roadmap to Apartheid' on the parallels between apartheid in South Africa and Israel on Tuesday at 6.30pm in the Unite Building on 1 Cathedral Road. Unfortunately a few reports have appeared that rather than focus on 5000 people marching in a spirit of unity instead zoom in on an incident that took place yesterday, that many who marched won't have been aware of, to give a completely misleading impression of our historic march that does not reflect the experience of most of the few thousand people on the streets yesterday The protest didn't 'turn violent' rather it was the victim of violent and criminal behaviour. We are still gathering testimony, but from what I personally witnessed and other testimony it appears that what occurred was the most outrageous behaviour many of us have ever witnessed in Cardiff, from two pubs, a small group of hardcore racists chanted racist abuse, threw beer over Muslim demonstrators and hurled glasses and chairs at the march. There were many young children and babies present and it is lucky none were hurt. Demonstrators spontaneously held back people who quite naturally wanted to respond to such disgusting behaviour from racists made more confident perhaps in the poisonous atmosphere created by UKIP and others. The Welsh 3000s are 15 mountains in Wales that have a height of 3000 ft (914.4m) or more. Geographically they fall within three ranges, Snowdon Massif, Glyderau and Carneddau. The length of this walk is 26 miles (42 km). Most people complete the route in 24 hours, in a challenge known as the Welsh 3000s challenge. Accompanied with Dan Bowden, we completed the route in a leisurely five days. The walk is also known as "The 14 Peaks": Carnedd Gwenllian (or "Garnedd Uchaf") is not always included, as it has the least relative height, being little more than a bump on the ridge rather than a separate summit in its own right. Many people choose to make the small diversion to include it on their traverse. There is also an option to include a sixteenth top, Castell y Gwynt in the Glyder range, which has been reclassified as a Nuttall since a survey in 2007. We did not climb all of the mountains along the route as we were carrying 14-15kg rucksacks. We missed out, Garnedd Ugain, Crib Goch and Pen yr ole Wen. Welsh has given much more than just "Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch" to the world (although that's the one Welsh word most people have heard about). The Welsh people (Welsh: Cymry) are an ethnic group and nation native to Wales and associated with the Welsh language. Welsh people historically spoke the Welsh language; however, in recent years English has predominated in most of Wales.
John Davies argues that the origin of the "Welsh nation" can be traced to the late 4th and early 5th centuries, following the Roman departure from Britain, although Brythonic Celtic languages seem to have been spoken in Wales far longer. The term Welsh people applies to people from Wales and people of Welsh ancestry perceiving themselves or being perceived as sharing a cultural heritage and shared ancestral origins. Today Wales is a country of the United Kingdom, and the majority of people living in Wales are British citizens.
An analysis of the geography of Welsh surnames commissioned by the Welsh Government found that 718,000 people, or nearly 35% of the Welsh population, have a family name of Welsh origin, compared with 5.3% in the rest of the United Kingdom, 4.7% in New Zealand, 4.1% in Australia, and 3.8% in the United States, with an estimated 16.3 million people in the countries studied having Welsh ancestry.

Daniel Michael "Danny" DeVito, Jr. (born November 17, 1944) is an American actor, comedian, director and producer. He first gained prominence for his portrayal of short statured dispatcher Louie De Palma on the ABC and NBC television series Taxi (1978–1983), for which he won a Golden Globe and an Emmy.
DeVito and his wife, Rhea Perlman, founded Jersey Films, a production company known for films such as Pulp Fiction, Garden State, and Freedom Writers. DeVito also owns Jersey Television, which produced the Comedy Central series Reno 911!. DeVito and Perlman also starred together in his 1996 film Matilda, based on Roald Dahl's children's novel. He currently stars as Frank Reynolds on the FX sitcom It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
DeVito was born in Neptune Township, New Jersey, the son of Julia, a homemaker, and Daniel Michael DeVito, Sr., who owned several small businesses, including a dry cleaning store, a dairy outlet, a luncheonette, and a pool hall. DeVito is of Italian descent (his family is originally from San Fele, Basilicata) and was raised a Roman Catholic, growing up in Asbury Park. He boarded at Oratory Preparatory School, in Summit, New Jersey, graduating in 1962, and subsequently trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, from which he graduated in 1966. In his early theater days, he performed with the Colonnades Theater Lab, Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, and, along with his wife Rhea Perlman, appeared in plays produced by the Westbeth Playwrights Feminist Collective.

Graham William Walker, known by his stage name Graham Norton, (born 4 April 1963) is an Irish actor, comedian, television presenter and columnist. He is the host of comedy chat programme The Graham Norton Show on BBC One in the UK and BBC America in the US. Hot Press has described him as "the 21st century's answer to Terry Wogan", with both men sharing an Irish background and the common link of being a BBC Radio 2 presenter and the BBC television commentator of the Eurovision Song Contest. Norton has won the BAFTA TV Award for Best Entertainment Performance on five occassions.
Norton was born in Clondalkin, a suburb of Dublin, but grew up in Bandon, County Cork, Ireland to a Protestant family. He was educated at Bandon Grammar School, in County Cork and then University College Cork but did not complete his studies.
In 1992 his stand-up comedy drag act in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe as a tea-towel clad Mother Teresa of Calcutta made the press when Scottish Television's religious affairs department mistakenly thought he represented the real Mother Teresa.
