"This Is How We Do" is a song recorded by American singer Katy Perry for her fourth studio album, Prism (2013). Perry co-wrote the song with its producers Max Martin and Klas Åhlund and recorded it in Stockholm, Sweden. The song was released as the album's fifth and final single on August 11, 2014. "This Is How We Do" is a dance-pop song influenced by hip hop, having "synth squiggles" and "melodic dots" as its main instrumentation. Lyrically, it has Perry sing-talking about her hangout routine with her friends. The song's official remix featuring American rapper Riff Raff was released on August 25, 2014.

The song received a mixed response from critics, some praised its old-school vibe and called it "the song of the summer," whilst others criticized its lyrics; it was also compared to her previous singles, "California Gurls" and "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)". Commercially, the song achieved moderate impact on the charts; while being a top-ten hit in Canada, the song failed to reach the top-twenty on the US Billboard Hot 100, becoming her first to miss since 2009's "Thinking of You". Elsewhere, it reached the top-twenty in five countries and the top-forty in the majority. The song's accompanying music video, directed by Joel Kefali, was released on July 31, 2014, and it sees the singer getting her nails done, doing karaoke with her friends while wearing outrageous outfits ranging from Yves Saint Laurent's Mondrian dress to a pepperoni pizza swimsuit. The song was performed on her "Prismatic World Tour".

We Do It

"We Do It" is a song written by Russell Stone, who was the male half of the husband and wife duo R&J Stone. It was produced by Phil Swern, and it became a hit in 1976, peaking at #5 on the UK Singles Chart.

It was also re-released in 1987 on Soul City Records.

Carol Douglas, who had a hit with "Doctors Orders" in 1974, also recorded her version of this song in 1977.

"How We Do It (Around My Way)" is the first single from R&B singer Lloyd's third studio album Lessons in Love, and features rapper Ludacris. It was sent to US radio stations on March 4, 2008.

A first version of the track, originally titled "How We Do It (In the A)", was leaked to the Internet in February 2008. The video was shot on April 12, 2008,the video debuted on Yahoo! Music on April 28, 2008.

There is also an official remix of the song called "How We Do (In the UK)" and features UK hip-hop artist Sway DaSafo. It was premiered on 1xtra by Ronnie Herel on 16 June 2008. Lloyd's verses in the song are exactly the same except he sings "How we do in the UK" during the chorus rather than "How we do around my way".

"How We Do It (In the UK)" is featured as a bonus track on the UK edition of Lessons in Love.

Do It! is the fifth album by the band Clinic, released on 7 April 2008. The single "Free Not Free" (with b-side "Thor") was made available on 1 February 2008 as a free download from clinicvoot.org. "Witch (Made to Measure)" was released as the second single in May 2008. "Tomorrow" was released as a single on 24 November.

Do It is the first EP after the first full-length album Life Time from Rollins Band, fronted by ex-Black Flag singer, Henry Rollins.

Do It was originally released in 1987 and included three studio recordings (1-3) and 6 live tracks recorded in Deventer, the Netherlands October 22, 1987 (5-10). The three studio tracks are Pink Fairies, Velvet Underground and Louis Prima & Sam Butera covers, produced by Ian MacKaye, well known in the genre of hardcore punk for his work with Minor Threat and as co-owner of the Dischord record label.

The record was subsequently re-mastered and re-released in 2007 with additional live tracks from the Fall 1987 Tour. These include the addition of the introductory track titled "Joe Is Everything, Everything Is Joe" (which refers to Rollins' roommate Joe Cole), two live tracks from Kortrijk, Belgium (11-12), two live tracks from London, England (13-14) and the final track from Ravensburg, Germany (15). Six more tracks from the same tour can be found on the rare Split Live LP with the Dutch noise band Gore from a show recorded at El Mocambo in Toronto, Ontario on May 17, 1987. The three studio tracks were also included in the re-mastered package of the Life Time album.

This Is How We Do It

"This Is How We Do It" is the debut single by R&B singer Montell Jordan. It was released by Def Jam Recordings on February 6, 1995 as the lead single from his debut album of the same name. The single was Def Jam's first R&B release.

The song is representative of the hip hop soul style popular at the time, featuring Jordan singing over an enhanced sample of Slick Rick's "Children's Story" which in turn samples Bob James' "Nautilus". "This Is How We Do It" peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks from 15 April to 27 May 1995, and was also number one for seven weeks on the R&B singles chart. The single sold one million copies domestically and earned a platinum certification from the RIAA.

A cover of the song by Mis-Teeq appears in the movie Ali G Indahouse and on its soundtrack album. A cover by AlunaGeorge is a bonus track on their album Body Music.

The song appears in Kinect game Dance Central 2 and Saints Row IV on one of the in game radio stations "107.7 The Mix FM" and is played during the ending of the game where all the characters dance to the song.
