Tomatoes cut risk of prostate cancer
Men who eat more than 10 portions of tomato products, including baked beans, each week have an 18% lower risk of developing prostate cancer, research suggests. Those with an optimal intake of three components – selenium, calcium and foods rich in lycopene – were found to have a significantly reduced risk of developing the deadly disease.
