Plot
Arrested by Delhi Police, Mussaddi Lal Tripathi admits his crime is because he is a 'common man'. Starting with his retirement as a school-teacher, and then the ailment and subsequent passing of his wife, Shanti, he sets about to perform last rites in a number of holy places along with his unemployed slacker-son, Bunty. After bribing railway employees for letting them travel without tickets, the duo are then fleeced by pundits who charge them an arm and a leg for performing Hindu cremation rites, and Bunty then leaves him after their clothes get stolen. Three months later, he returns home to find that both electricity and the phone have been disconnected due to non-payment of bills, & confusion reigns when bank officials accuse him of taking a loan. But the worst is yet to come when he will be deprived of any income after Pension and Accounts Office notify him that he is 'officially dead'. He will now be pitted against more corruption when he sets about to prove that he is very much alive, while five government employees, Bhatia, Pandey, Patel, Ushaa, and Shukla, are determined to frustrate all his efforts.
Plot

Plot
An eligible bachelor and Bollywood film-maker, Amar lives a wealthy lifestyle in Mumbai. He meets with and falls in love with an actress, Gul, romances, and then marries her. They live harmoniously for a few years then differences crop up, and a pregnant Gul decides to leave, and starts making a living as a high-class prostitute with Balaam Hyderabadi as her pimp. She gives birth to a daughter, Sona, and with Kishan Murari's help, admits her in a hostel in Delhi, so that Sona can grow up without knowing her mother's professional career. She then gives birth to Mohan and let's him live with her but keeps her professional life a secret from him as well. As years pass, she starts to age and Balaam asks her to get a young woman on whom she can depend on financially. Initially Gul refuses but when she is assaulted and hospitalized, she changes her mind and brings home a young prostitute, Roopa, who was also a patient in the hospital, and introduces her to a much-delighted Balaam. With Roopa in the house and her future secure, Gul decides to visit Sona in Delhi - and it is this visit that will alter her life forever.
Plot
An American boy and girl, spending six months in Kenya with their scientist parents adopt a cheetah, only to realize that they must set it loose so that it can learn to hunt and be free. However, when the animal is captured by poachers planning to race it against greyhounds, the two city kids, together with a young African goat herder they befriended, head off into the wild to rescue the cheetah.

Plot
Det. Const. "Dangerous" Davies is not known for his finesse, but often finds himself on the receiving end of violence in various forms. Only thrown into cases where others fear to tread, or to shake up the natives with his bumbling, he is given a mission to find and flush out a local criminal recently returned from abroad, possibly for "a big job". In his research he inadvertently stumbles upon a 15 year-old case, long considered cold, of the disappearance a young girl. His compassion for the missing girl and her parents draws him into an obsession with solving the case, which ultimately results in unexpected repercussions.

Simi Garewal was born in Delhi. Her father, J S Garewal served in the army rising to the rank of brigadier. Simi grew up in England and studied at Newland House School with her sister Amrita.
After spending much of her childhood in England, Garewal returned to India while a teenager. It was her felicity with the English language that induced the makers of the English-language film Tarzan Goes to India to offer her a role. A gangly 15-year-old at the time, Garewal made her debut alongside Feroz Khan in this film in 1962. Her performance here was good enough for her to receive many more film offers, and during the 1960s and '70s, she worked in several notable Indian films, working with leading directors such as Raj Kapoor in Mera Naam Joker (1970), Satyajit Ray in Aranyer Din Ratri (Days and Nights in the Forest), Mrinal Sen in Padatik (The Guerilla Fighter) and Raj Khosla in Do Badan. She was born in the Breach Candy Hospital in Bombay and is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer since the age of five. Her birth name is a blend of the first three letters of her father's name Amit and the last three letters of her mother's name Asha.
