A masked and robed member of ISIS speaking English in what is thought to be a British accent addresses the camera too
After the execution of Foley, the ISIS member says that missing American journalist Steven Joel Sotloff will be killed next
A man identified as Sotloff in a caption on the video is then paraded in front of the camera

In a video posted online Tuesday, ISIS beheads James Wright Foley, an American freelance journalist who was captured in Syria in 2012. The video says the killing is a warning to the U.S. to end its intervention in Iraq. Before he was decapitated, the journalist was forced to denounce his own country. In 2011, he spoke about his previous capture in Libya. \

Remembering MH17 Malaysia Airlines Malaysia Mourns Part 5

Malaysians observed a moment of silence following the arrival in Kuala Lumpur of the bodies of 20 Malaysian victims of Flight MH17 that crashed in Ukraine in July. A specially chartered plane took off from Amsterdam and landed around 10:00 local time (02:00 GMT). National flags are flying at half-mast for the day of mourning. Flight MH17 is believed to have been shot down by a missile fired by pro-Russian rebels. They deny the claim. All 298 passengers and crew on board the Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 died on 17 July.

From office workers to train drivers, many among the nation of 30 million observed a minute\'s silence as white hearses drove the remains from the airport to private funerals in various provinces. The country\'s public transportation, including the national rail system and Kuala Lumpur\'s monorail, paused during the minute of silence. Prime Minister Najib Razak, who turned his Twitter and Facebook pages black, wrote a condolence message that was widely shared.

The European Space Agency (Esa) says the latest two satellites for Europe's version of the American GPS satellite navigation system have not gone into the correct orbit. However, it says the fifth and sixth satellites launched from French Guiana on Friday are under control. The agency is examining the implications of the anomaly. The satellites Doresa and Milena went up on a Soyuz rocket after a 24-hour delay because of bad weather. "Observations taken after the separation of the satellites from the Soyuz VS09 (rocket) for the Galileo Mission show a gap between the orbit achieved and that which was planned," said launch service provider Arianespace, in a statement. "They have been placed on a lower orbit than expected. Teams are studying the impact this could have on the satellites," it added. Arianespace declined to comment on whether their trajectories could be corrected, the AFP news agency reports. After years of delay, Galileo is now finally moving towards full deployment. Esa, which is building the system on behalf of the EU, expects to have a 26-satellite constellation in orbit by 2017. The EU is INVESTING billions in its sat-nav project. It believes Galileo will bring significant returns to European economies in the form of new businesses that can exploit precise timing and location data delivered from orbit. ISIS video appears to show beheading of U.S. journalist ISIS Beheads Kidnapped US Journalist James Foley ISIS Reportedly Beheads American Jounalist in Iraq, video posted on the Internet ISIS Beheads Kidnapped US Journalist James Foley ISIS terrorist Beheads Kidnapped US Journalist James Foley Isis release video....... 2nd U.S. journalist threatened in video A militant speaking with an apparent British accent says the life of the other American in the video hangs in the balance. ISIS posted a video in which it beheads a man they claim is James Foley -- a U.S. journalist kidnapped in Syria. 'American bombing had signed my death certificate': Missing US journalist James Wright Foley goes unflinching to his death as ISIS behead him in horrific video, as a warning to Obama American photojournalist James Wright Foley has been beheaded by ISIS forces Foley has been missing since Thanksgiving 2012 while working in Syria ISIS posted the extremely graphic video 'A Message to America' to social media Foley speaks to camera before his death and labels the US his killers Apparently coerced by his captors into speaking against his country A masked and robed member of ISIS speaking English in what is thought to be a British accent addresses the camera too After the execution of Foley, the ISIS member says that missing American journalist Steven Joel Sotloff will be killed next A man identified as Sotloff in a caption on the video is then paraded in front of the camera Beheading comes one day after ISIS threat to America that 'we will drown all you in blood' following the US-aided Kurdish recapture of the Mosul Dam In a video posted online Tuesday, ISIS beheads James Wright Foley, an American freelance journalist who was captured in Syria in 2012. The video says the killing is a warning to the U.S. to end its intervention in Iraq. Before he was decapitated, the journalist was forced to denounce his own country. In 2011, he spoke about his previous capture in Libya. "I believe that front-line journalism is important." One dark aspect of the video of photojournalist James Foley’s murder released today is the way it ends: with the same extremists who beheaded him on camera threatening to repeat the act on another U.S. journalist in their custody. The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, is believed to hold multiple Westerners in its custody. Though the true number isn’t known, about 20 Western journalists and aid workers have gone missing in Syria, many likely held by different militant groups. ISIS militants released gruesome video footage this afternoon of the beheading of American photojournalist James Wright Foley as a message to the U.S. to stop intervening in Iraq. Foley, a freelancer who contributed to the Global Post, was first captured in Libya in 2012, released, and then kidnapped again around Thanksgiving 2012 by unidentified gunmen in Syria. He was 40 years old. The (extremely disturbing) video can be viewed here. @Mujahid4life tweeted stills from it, which are (aside from the one below), sickeningly graphic. A video released by ISIS shows the beheading of U.S. journalist James Foley and threatens the life of another American if President Barack Obama doesn't end military operations in Iraq. In the video posted Tuesday on YouTube, Foley is seen kneeling next to a man dressed in black. Foley reads a message, presumably scripted by his captors, that his "real killer'' is America. "I wish I had more time. I wish I could have the hope for freedom to see my family once again," he can be heard saying in the video. W.H. reacts to journalist's beheading He is then shown being beheaded. Islamic State claims it killed US journalist Insurgents released a video on Tuesday allegedly showing the beheading of James Foley, who went missing in 2012. Foley's death has not been confirmed. The video, titled "A Message To America," was posted on social media sites. It was not immediately possible to verify its authenticity.... Remembering MH17 Malaysia Airlines Malaysia Mourns Part 5 Malaysians observed a moment of silence following the arrival in Kuala Lumpur of the bodies of 20 Malaysian victims of Flight MH17 that crashed in Ukraine in July. From office workers to train drivers, many among the nation of 30 million observed a minute's silence as white hearses drove the remains from the airport to private funerals in various provinces. The country's public transportation, including the national rail system and Kuala Lumpur's monorail, paused during the minute of silence. Prime Minister Najib Razak, who turned his Twitter and Facebook pages black, wrote a condolence message that was widely shared. Source: www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-28891322

US Judge Shakira Hit Song Loca 'Broke Copyright Laws' A hit song performed by Colombian pop star Shakira was indirectly copied from another songwriter's work, a federal judge in New York has found. Judge Alvin Hellerstein said Shakira's Spanish-language version of Loca in 2010 had infringed on a song by Dominican singer Ramon Arias Vazquez. Her English language version of Loca - which featured Dizzee Rascal - was "not offered into evidence" at the trial. Neither version of Loca was released as a single in the UK.
