Ingrid Lilian Thulin (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈɪŋːrɪd tɵˈliːn]; 27 January 1926 – 7 January 2004) was a Swedish film actress.
Thulin was born in Sollefteå, Ångermanland, northern Sweden, the daughter of Nanna (née Larsson) and Adam Thulin, a fisherman. She took ballet lessons as a girl and was accepted by The Royal Dramatic Theatre ("Dramaten") in Stockholm 1948.
For many years she worked regularly with Ingmar Bergman; among other films, Thulin appeared in Bergman's Wild Strawberries (film) (1957), The Magician (where she acted dressed as a boy), in Winter Light (1962), as well as The Silence (1963) and Cries and Whispers (1972).
She shared the best actress award at the 1958 Cannes Film Festival and received a Guldbagge Award as best actress in 1964, the first year the award was given out, for her performance in The Silence. Winner of the David di Donatello Awards 1974, Thulin was also been nominated for the BAFTA Award the same year. In 1980, she was the head of the jury at the 30th Berlin International Film Festival.

Julie's Haircut is an Italian progressive rock group formed in Emilia between Modena and Reggio Emilia in 1994. They sing in English.
Active since 1994, Julie’s Haircut is a six piece collective from northern Italy. Their debut album “Fever in the funk house” (Gammapop, 1999), a strange mixture of garage rock, noisy psychedelia and pop melodies was hailed at by the Italian critics as one of the best debuts in Italian indie rock. The follow-up “Stars never looked so bright” (Gammapop, 2001) mixed these elements with a more soulful approach, mirroring the love for 60’s black music nurtured by the band. In 2003, after switching to Homesleep Records Julie’s Haircut released their third album “Adult situations”, the first to be internationally distributed. Here, melody and odd psychedelia mingle in a more personal way. By 2005 the music of Julie’s Haircut has moved forward towards more experimental grounds, focusing on improv and sound research, without losing touch with the groove and melody that characterized their music since day one. The result is their latest album “After dark, my sweet” (Homesleep, 2006), featuring former Spacemen 3 Sonic Boom, acclaimed as one of the best alternative Italian albums of the year. In 2006 they also functioned as “sound carriers” for some performances of former Can singer Damo Suzuki, thus entering the Damo Suzuki Network and consolidating a warm relationship with the japanese/german artist. In 2009 their new double album "Our Secret Ceremony" is released by A Silent Place. Their new 10” single, featuring cover versions of Alejandro Jodorowsky’s The Tarot, from “The Holy Mountain” OST and Nino Rota’s O Venezia Venaga Venusia, from the "Fellini’s Casanova” OST, is released in june 2011. In june 2012 the new ep "The Wildlife Variations" is released through Woodworm Music & Trovarobato.

Ernst Ingmar Bergman (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈɪŋmar ˈbærjman] (
listen); 14 July 1918 – 30 July 2007) was a Swedish director, writer and producer for film, stage and television. Described by Woody Allen as "probably the greatest film artist, all things considered, since the invention of the motion picture camera," he is recognized as one of the most accomplished and influential film directors of all time.
He directed over sixty films and documentaries for cinematic release and for television, most of which he also wrote. He also directed over one hundred and seventy plays. Among his company of actors were Harriet Andersson, Liv Ullmann, Gunnar Björnstrand, Bibi Andersson, Erland Josephson, Ingrid Thulin and Max von Sydow. Most of his films were set in the landscape of Sweden. His major subjects were death, illness, faith, betrayal, and insanity.
Bergman was active for more than six decades. In 1976 his career was seriously threatened as the result of a botched criminal investigation for alleged income tax evasion. Outraged, Bergman suspended a number of pending productions, closed his studios, and went into self-imposed exile in Germany for eight years.

Ingrid trained as a ballet dancer and attended Stockholm's Royal Dramatic Theatre. She came to fame thanks to Bergman's "Wild Strawberries". She acted in 9 Ingmar Bergman's films. Her fame allowed her to act in Luchino Visconti's "The Damned" in 1969. Ingrid Thulin lived in Rome since the 1960's. She came back to Sweden for her health treatment recently.

They discover that this was just the latest in a series of disappearances of young pretty girls in the area. Their investigation leads them to a strange high profile private club, whose affluent members practice odd ritualistic orgies and bizarre dark rites

Nachdem sein Tod bekannt wurde, erkundigen sich verschiedene Personen gezielt danach, ob der Verstorbene noch etwas sagen konnte. Schließlich erreicht den Sekretär eine Anfrage von einem Wiener Notar, der nach der Art des Todes fragt und von der Antwort das weitere Verhalten hinsichtlich der ihm übergebenen Dokumente abhängig machen will.
Bishop reist nach Wien. Auch die Witwe Dominuque Dunemore, die dem Sekretär zuvor ihre Liebe eingestanden hat, erscheint beim Notar in Wien. Aufgrund der erhaltenen Informationen sieht sich Bishop gehalten, seine Reise nach Stockholm fortzusetzen, um weitere Recherchen zu betreiben. Sein erhoffter Gesprächspartner, der den Toten mehrfach getroffen hatte, ist jedoch bereits verstorben.
Dieses teilt ihm dessen Tochter, Brita, mit, zu der er sich zugleich in eine Liaison begibt. Der Zuschauer erfährt, was Bishop noch nicht weiß: Es geht um Erpressung. Durch ein Telegram nach Wien zurückgerufen, fällt er dort in die Hände von mehreren Geheimdienstagenten. Ohnehin weicht ihm Spring, ein bezahlter, höchst opportunistischer Gewährsmann eines Erpreßten nicht von der Seite. In Wien taucht auch die Witwe wieder auf, die – von den Hintergründen wissend – Dave Bishop auf ihre Seite ziehen will; auch Brita erscheint in Wien. Bishop jedoch weiß, was er zu tun hat.

El documental retrospectivo, de 180 minutos, se divide en tres partes, que abordan las relaciones de Bergman con el cine y el teatro y su vida privada en Faro, la isla del mar Báltico a la que se retiró para siempre. Marie Nyreröd, una veterana periodista de la SVT y productora de la película, siguió varios meses a uno de los grandes creadores del siglo XX. Hablábamos del amor, la muerte, la infancia y sus demonios, pero también veíamos la televisión y paseábamos en bicicleta, recuerda la directora al diario Aftonbaldet .
Bergman y el teatro está dedicada a su otra gran pasión, que reconoce que le ha sido muy difícil dejar, y que asegura extrañar todos los días. En su antigua oficina en el teatro nacional sueco, el legendario Dramaten, enseña dónde se sentó la primera vez que acudió a ver una obra de teatro: tenía 12 años y volvió a casa con fiebre. De las más de 125 representaciones teatrales que ha dirigido a lo largo de su vida, recuerda los intensos seis años en el Stadsteater de Malmo (1952-58), con actores como Max von Sydow, Bibi Andersson e Ingrid Thulin, habituales también en sus películas. Allí empezaron sus colaboraciones para televisión como Escenas de un matrimonio, luego transformada en película, que provocó una conmoción en Suecia y le obligó a cambiar varias veces de teléfono para no convertirse en consejero matrimonial.

Antes que los cineastas Alfonso Cuarón, Guillermo del Toro o Alejandro González Iñárritu lograran establecerse en Hollywood, hubo otro cineasta mexicano que lo logró unos años antes. Luis Mandoki (Ciudad de México, 1954) tiene la satisfacción de ser el primer director del país que pudo asentarse en la Meca del Cine y hacer una carrera respetable, a diferencia de otros directores mexicanos que, antes de él, sólo tuvieron incursiones efímeras.
En Hollywood, Mandoki se mostró como un director solvente de varios filmes exitosos, como "White Palace" (1990) con Susan Sarandon y James Spader; "When a Man Loves a Woman" (1994) con Meg Ryan y Andy Garcia, o "Message in a Bottle" (1999) con Kevin Costner, Robin Wright y Paul Newman. Posteriormente, tras regresar a México, filmó las aclamadas "Voces inocentes" (2004) y "La vida precoz y breve de Sabina Rivas" (2012). Su amplia experiencia, la suele compartir a través de una serie de talleres de actuación y dirección de actores, que imparte regularmente desde el año pasado.
En entrevista exclusiva para CorreCamara.com, Mandoki hace un recuento de su ya larga trayectoria, que inició en la década de los setentas cuando viajó a Gran Bretaña a estudiar cine, logró ganar un premio de cortometraje dentro del Festival de Cannes por su corto "Silent music" (1975), y luego regresó a México para ganar el Ariel al mejor cortometraje por "El secreto" (1980). Todo ello, antes de su azarosa opera prima "Motel" (1983) y de la que él considera su primera película personal, "Gaby, a True Story" (1987), un filme donde logró reunir a dos figuras internacionales: la noruega Liv Ullmann y la argentina Norma Aleandro.
"Era la época de películas nacionales donde se hacían películas de dos semanas, el clásico churro mexicano, o de charritos o de ficheras, y yo dije 'esto no es lo mío'. No voy a hacer esto'. Eso me llevó a ver que había que hacer un cine que --yo decía en aquella época— tiene que atravesar la 'barrera del nopal'. De alguna manera esa visión fue la que me llevó a abrir esa posibilidad que no existía porque ningún director mexicano había hecho una carrera fuera de México. Ahora ya es normal, tenemos directores como Alfonso Cuarón, nominado a 10 Oscares, o al 'Negro' González Iñárritu, a Memo del Toro, a los fotógrafos como Emmanuel Lubezki, Rodrigo Prieto, etcétera". Cabe anotar que, curiosamente, tanto Cuarón como Lubezki, ambos nominados este año al Oscar, fueron asistentes de Mandoki en "Gaby, a True Story"
Mandoki reconoce que su mayor influencia cinematográfica fue la obra de Ingmar Bergman. "La película que más me conmovió fue 'Gritos y susurros' en todos sentidos, desde la luz, la visión, la forma de contar la historia, el monólogo extraordinario de Ingrid Thulin con Liv Ullmann. Y luego me dediqué a ver toda su obra. Él, Fellini, muchos italianos, Visconti... era el gran tiempo del cine italiano. Había en Italia por lo menos 20 genios trabajando al mismo tiempo".
Mandoki asegura que tras acabar el sexenio de Luis Echeverría, durante el cuál se apoyó de manera firme a diferentes cineastas mexicanos pero que la nueva administración cortó de tajo, se dio cuenta que "uno como cineastas no podía ser hijo del Estado. En otras palabras, no puedes depender de la buena fe del gobierno. Tienes que ser independiente".
Acerca de "Gaby, a True Story", Mandoki refiere que decidió filmarla en inglés gracias a una recomendación de Luciana Cabarga, quien le hizo ver que eso le facilitaría conseguir el financiamiento adecuado. "Siempre he tenido la necesidad de que cada película diga algo de mí. Desde que regresé a México hasta hacer 'Gaby,a True Story...' pasaron 10 años. Fue una lucha de 8 años desde que encuentro el proyecto hasta que se filma. Lo que me conmovió mucho de esa historia, lo que fue el motor para lograrla sin importar qué, fue el tema de la película que era sobre una mujer con parálisis cerebral que sólo tenía el movimiento del pie izquierdo como expresión".
En la entrevista, Mandoki también narra de manera detallada su colaboración con Alfonso Cuarón y el Chivo Lubezki, quienes fueron sus asistentes en "Gaby, a True Story" y de quienes observó desde aquel entonces el gran talento que los distinguía. Precisamente en este sentido, a través de los talleres que imparte, Mandoki está promoviendo una serie de actividades para que algunos jóvenes cineastas puedan realizar un cortometraje. Con ello, el cineasta busca de alguna forma ayudarlos a dar los primeros pasos en el mundo del cine, algo que él hubiera querido cuando comenzó en esta difícil actividad.

Antes que los cineastas Alfonso Cuarón, Guillermo del Toro o Alejandro González Iñárritu lograran establecerse en Hollywood, hubo otro cineasta mexicano que lo logró unos años antes. Luis Mandoki (Ciudad de México, 1954) tiene la satisfacción de ser el primer director del país que pudo asentarse en la Meca del Cine y hacer una carrera respetable, a diferencia de otros directores mexicanos que, antes de él, sólo tuvieron incursiones efímeras.
En Hollywood, Mandoki se mostró como un director solvente de varios filmes exitosos, como "White Palace" (1990) con Susan Sarandon y James Spader; "When a Man Loves a Woman" (1994) con Meg Ryan y Andy Garcia, o "Message in a Bottle" (1999) con Kevin Costner, Robin Wright y Paul Newman. Posteriormente, tras regresar a México, filmó las aclamadas "Voces inocentes" (2004) y "La vida precoz y breve de Sabina Rivas" (2012). Su amplia experiencia, la suele compartir a través de una serie de talleres de actuación y dirección de actores, que imparte regularmente desde el año pasado.
En entrevista exclusiva para CorreCamara.com, Mandoki hace un recuento de su ya larga trayectoria, que inició en la década de los setentas cuando viajó a Gran Bretaña a estudiar cine, logró ganar un premio de cortometraje dentro del Festival de Cannes por su corto "Silent music" (1975), y luego regresó a México para ganar el Ariel al mejor cortometraje por "El secreto" (1980). Todo ello, antes de su azarosa opera prima "Motel" (1983) y de la que él considera su primera película personal, "Gaby, a True Story" (1987), un filme donde logró reunir a dos figuras internacionales: la noruega Liv Ullmann y la argentina Norma Aleandro.
"Era la época de películas nacionales donde se hacían películas de dos semanas, el clásico churro mexicano, o de charritos o de ficheras, y yo dije 'esto no es lo mío'. No voy a hacer esto'. Eso me llevó a ver que había que hacer un cine que --yo decía en aquella época— tiene que atravesar la 'barrera del nopal'. De alguna manera esa visión fue la que me llevó a abrir esa posibilidad que no existía porque ningún director mexicano había hecho una carrera fuera de México. Ahora ya es normal, tenemos directores como Alfonso Cuarón, nominado a 10 Oscares, o al 'Negro' González Iñárritu, a Memo del Toro, a los fotógrafos como Emmanuel Lubezki, Rodrigo Prieto, etcétera". Cabe anotar que, curiosamente, tanto Cuarón como Lubezki, ambos nominados este año al Oscar, fueron asistentes de Mandoki en "Gaby, a True Story"
Mandoki reconoce que su mayor influencia cinematográfica fue la obra de Ingmar Bergman. "La película que más me conmovió fue 'Gritos y susurros' en todos sentidos, desde la luz, la visión, la forma de contar la historia, el monólogo extraordinario de Ingrid Thulin con Liv Ullmann. Y luego me dediqué a ver toda su obra. Él, Fellini, muchos italianos, Visconti... era el gran tiempo del cine italiano. Había en Italia por lo menos 20 genios trabajando al mismo tiempo".
Mandoki asegura que tras acabar el sexenio de Luis Echeverría, durante el cuál se apoyó de manera firme a diferentes cineastas mexicanos pero que la nueva administración cortó de tajo, se dio cuenta que "uno como cineastas no podía ser hijo del Estado. En otras palabras, no puedes depender de la buena fe del gobierno. Tienes que ser independiente".
Acerca de "Gaby, a True Story", Mandoki refiere que decidió filmarla en inglés gracias a una recomendación de Luciana Cabarga, quien le hizo ver que eso le facilitaría conseguir el financiamiento adecuado. "Siempre he tenido la necesidad de que cada película diga algo de mí. Desde que regresé a México hasta hacer 'Gaby,a True Story...' pasaron 10 años. Fue una lucha de 8 años desde que encuentro el proyecto hasta que se filma. Lo que me conmovió mucho de esa historia, lo que fue el motor para lograrla sin importar qué, fue el tema de la película que era sobre una mujer con parálisis cerebral que sólo tenía el movimiento del pie izquierdo como expresión".
En la entrevista, Mandoki también narra de manera detallada su colaboración con Alfonso Cuarón y el Chivo Lubezki, quienes fueron sus asistentes en "Gaby, a True Story" y de quienes observó desde aquel entonces el gran talento que los distinguía. "Fue una experiencia muy padre trabajar con él, porque era de una entrega como pocos tienen, que es lo que se necesita en el cine".

Als nach sechs Folgen "Klimbim" zum ersten Mal seinem Ende entgegen ging, reagierte die "Klimbim"-Familie, in dem sie das Zeitliche segnete. Zum Abschluss der zweiten Serie segnete sie nicht mehr das Zeitliche, sondern das Örtliche - sozusagen - in dem
sie sich mit einer selbstgebastelten Rakete ins All katapultierte. Eine Rückkehr aus dem All ist heutzutage nicht mehr spektakulär, wenn auch eine Landung im Kölner Raum - wie in diesem Falle - nicht zu den alltäglichen Erscheinungen gehört.
Wir finden jedoch die Familie in leicht veränderter Besetzung wieder. Der Vater ist leider im All verblieben. Dafür wird Horst Jüssen als neuer Untermieter mit Familienanschluss integriert. Eine weitere Bereicherung der Familienidylle, wenn auch eine schweigende Minderheit, bildet Heinrich, der Basset-Hund.
Ausser Sketchen, Running Gags und den üblichen Blödeleien wartet "Klimbim" mit ein paar neuen Elementen auf, darunter einer Frankenstein-Story. Nichts Neues im eigentlichen Sinn, dafür aber echt "Klimbim". Die Funktionen sind nämlich verkehrt: Nicht Mensch baut Monster, sondern Monster baut Mensch. Eine Umkehrung ist auch die "Klimbim"-Talkshow, bei der Dietmar Schönherr diesmal zu Gast ist. Auch ein neues Stilelement wird von nun an "Klimbim"-gerecht serviert: Der Trickfilm. Diesmal wird unter anderem ein Huhn vorgestellt, das tiefsinnige Sprüche von sich gibt.
Mitwirkende sind wieder Ingrid Steeger, Elisabeth Volkmann, Helmut Holger, Horst Jüssen, Wichard von Roell und Heinrich.

It is to be hoped that programmers at the Barbican cinemas don’t regret their short Bergman season, put on to complement the Barbican Theatre’s fine stage production of the master’s lacerating Scenes from a Marriage (running until Sunday) ... And he certainly cast some extraordinary actresses. Bibi and Harriet Andersson, Liv Ullmann and Ingrid Thulin, whose work is seen in the season, are a matchless quartet ... Ingmar Bergman....
