Canadians (singular Canadian) are the people who are identified with the country of Canada. This connection may be genetic, residential, legal, historical, cultural or ethnic. For most Canadians, several (frequently all) of those types of connections exist and are the source(s) of them being considered Canadians.
Aside from the Aboriginal peoples, who according to the 2006 Canadian Census numbered 1,172,790, 3.8% of the country's total population, the majority of the population is made up of Old World immigrants and their descendants. After the initial period of French and then British colonization, different waves (or peaks) of immigration and settlement of non-aboriginal peoples took place over the course of nearly two centuries and continues today. Elements of Aboriginal, French, British and more recent immigrant customs, languages and religions have combined to form the culture of Canada and thus a Canadian identity. Canada has also been strongly influenced by that of its linguistic, geographic and economic neighbour, the United States.
This is a list of Canadians, people born in Canada, or who became citizens of Canada, grouped by their area of notability.

and me
You feel down as people change
in the sky the clouds are cryin’
she wants more than you could give
oh my god, it’s all you had
welcome to the losers
bless the rain, try not to breathe
on this day you just need to die
she is far from all your plans
oh my god it’s all you had
welcome to the losers
all this plays quite bitter it’s not your day
now the lights are colder in your eyes
time goes by, in the corner of a room
let the silence be with you
All day in a train
i’m full of thoughts once again
future has come in my town
between clouds and snowflakes
how many supernovas up in the space?
How many cinderellas walking down from the stairs?
It’s just like a season with december month everywhere
don’t change, go on and don’t care about them, please set me free
nobody could understand you
i’m the only one
i’m your favourite boy
leaving the town looking for you
coming back too soon
there’re many tracks on the field
it’s so hard to stay with you
how many supernovas up in the space?
How many cinderellas walking down from the stairs?
It’s just like a season with december month everywhere
don’t change, go on and don’t care about them, please set me free
nobody could understand you
i’m the only one
You and i down the star system gear
up in the sky it’s full of shines
tenderness
no one else sharing this
wonder, i beg you now
let me see the picture in your pocket
to space around
away
cool breath, we’re polar bears
searching for their star
slow kiss, we’re floating away
through the atmosphere
wonder, i beg you now
let me see the picture in your pocket
to space around
away
the place where dreams come true
Jimmy and his friends, i know, are in the park all drunken
i’m staring at the sun alone but what can i desire? I no longer know
i’m wishing for a week for fishing away in the country
i’m losing my own script of living down in city
a refrigerator sounds in a room, i look up and peer at the weather
she’s gone away from here and now what can i desire? I no longer know
i’m wishing for a week for fishing away in the country
Holidays in a summer place
drinking beer with you five years ago
in your hands i’ve lost my friends
i fell down into you discovering new vibrations
again when i was seventeen
i tried to kill all my fears
goodbye
here i only could dream away my time
i’ll never forget your face
summer teenage girl
homesickness behind my soul again
i’m crying my memories discovering new vibrations
again when i was seventeen
i tried to kill all my fears
goodbye
here i only could dream away my time
i’ll never forget your face
She’s sleeping on the couch
while the tv is on and loud
the background is the moon
a step closer to him
all the troubles she has fade away
she is moving in the air to the sky
he’s waiting for a chance
in the melancholy sea
the background is the moon
a step closer to her
he’ll try to keep away the pain of truth
now they are more than lovers tuned over time
far from downtown he can’t avoid her
one kiss, a smile and nothing else
to remind this moment
the speed of sound to catch this second
now they’re moving and leaving all behind
cause the sun is rising
and now that loneliness is back
News, good news, don’t you know?
It’s the end of the contemporary age
snow and deers will return in town
and tears will not just be untrue
and this world is going to change
i’m falling in love with you
put your pins on the t-shirt
the revolution is near
wind of change in the air, in my brain
i’m glad and my heart is near to explode
how so sweet the good news are
like a goose flying to the sun
let’s go so far to the river, where frogs and fishes smile
These days it seems to go just out of your time
new hair cuts, today cigarettes smoke really don’t belong to you
the sand dunes, the canyons, find out your 60’s
the melodies from now on, forever and ever
why? That sound is gone but you are still analogical
and why? It’s so far away from here
don’t keep this mental state but catch the wave
the beach boys and the old style songs or dancing in the moon
i love you and here comes the pressure, please put a record on
the sand dunes, the canyons, find out your 60’s
the melodies from now on, forever and ever
why? That sound is gone but you are still analogical
and why? It’s so far away from here
I can survive this world
I’ve found another place
I breathe the snow that you hate
The road will be so long
I’ll meet a polar bear
Some penguins and loneliness
Under a sky with no stars
I’m dreaming
No cars, no tech
I hear the sound of waterfalls
Snow falling from some trees
I walk along the frozen river
Towards the point of no return
Under a sky with no stars
I’m dreaming
It’s not too late
I’m keeping all my dreams alive
I need to escape from you and from my town again
From my friends again
From the new again
It’s the colour of the shame
It’s the new land i’ve found out
It’s so hard going through
It’s the mirror of my eyes
It’s a pleasure over god
It’s my pillow underneath
It’s so hard going through
But i want to stay alone
I would stay for a week in l.a.
trying to make my dreams come true
and california is on my mind
she was here till the end of may
now that wind is blowing out
and the stars begin to fade away
i think too much about us anyway
i’m looking for you till the end of these days
and now that sunshine mirrors in the lake
i could disappear into pain till i die
yesterday i was planning with you
our future and my cure
we didn’t calculate on time
and i’m always waiting on you
now that wind is blowing out
and the stars begin to fade away
you know i’m so sad
everything i’ve done it’s a nonsense
tonight let me be your man
you know i’m so sad
but everybody needs to look ahead
I would stay for a week in l.a.
trying to make my dreams come true
and california is on my mind
she was here till the end of may

Marty mcfly sticked on the wall
while setting his delorean
in the bedroom
a sailing ship runs through the sea
they’re coming over to set you free
from bad memories
jump out of bed, don’t close your eyes
it’s the goonies stars with sloth
they are here to wage war against this world
we must destroy it, we can destroy it
till the end
yeah yeah
we need to be back, we need to go back
to the nerds
pocket protector on the shirts
thick rimmed glasses forever
in the checkroom
a sailing ship runs through the sea
they’re coming over to set you free
from bad memories
jump out of bed, don’t close your eyes
it’s the goonies stars with sloth
they are here to wage war against this world
we must destroy it, we can destroy it
till the end
yeah yeah
we need to be back, we need to go back
to the nerds
and now that war is won at all
you can wake up to squeeze out the
pimples you have around your face
