Alcester (i/ˈɒlstər/ or /ˈɔːlstər/) is an old market town of Roman origin at the junction of the River Alne and River Arrow in Warwickshire, England. It is situated approximately 8 miles (13 km) west of Stratford-upon-Avon, and 8 miles south of Redditch, close to the Worcestershire border. The 2001 census recorded a population of 6,214 in the town, which also has civil parish status.
In Roman times Alcester (Alauna) was a walled town and Roman fort of some importance[citation needed] being located at a junction between the Ryknild Street Roman road and the ancient Saltway from Droitwich and the roman road from Stratford upon Avon and the Fosse Way.
An important market town, Alcester was the site of a Benedictine monastery founded in the middle of the 12th century by Ralph le Boteler. The monastery was once a thriving one. In 1318 Walter de Beauchamp, who had a seat in the neighbourhood, complained to the abbot of the monastery that some of his monks had removed Beauchamp's possessions from his manor. At the Dissolution, King Henry VIII granted the monastery to the Greville family.
The George's Day Movement (Движение Гергьовден, Dvizhenie Gergyovden) is a nationalist political party in Bulgaria. The movement didn't win any seat in the 2001 elections. It joined the United Democratic Forces before the 2005 elections. The United Democratic Forces won in the 2001 elections 18.2 % of the popular vote and 51 out of 240 seats.
Tam (or Tamas) Lin (also called Tamlane, Tamlin, Tomlin, Tam Lien, Tam-a-Line, or Tam Lane) is the hero of a legendary ballad originating from the Scottish Borders. The story revolves around the rescue of Tam Lin by his true love from the Queen of the Fairies. While this ballad is specific to Scotland, the motif of capturing a person by holding him through all forms of transformation is found throughout Europe in folktales.
The story has been adapted into various stories, songs and films.
Most variants begin with the warning that Tam Lin collects either a possession or the virginity of any maidens who pass through the forest of Carterhaugh. A young maiden, usually called Janet or Margaret, comes to Carterhaugh and plucks a double rose, whereupon Tam appears and asks why she is in Carterhaugh without his command and has taken what is his. She states that she owns Carterhaugh, because her father has given it to her.
In most variants, she then goes home and discovers that she is pregnant; some variants pick up the story at this point. When an old knight taxes her with it, she announces that she will not declare him her baby's father, that her lover is an elf and that she loves him. She returns to Carterhaugh. In some variants, her brother has told her that a herb growing there will induce an abortion. In all, she picks something, whether the herb or the same roses as when they first met. Tam reappears, enraged, and forbids her to abort.

Rain keeps falling deep inside mu soul
I've been here before...
Pain reaps harvests, here, inside my soul
I've learnt this before
Keep searching
Keep yearning
Keep holding on and then
Feel all that rain wash down the pain
There is hunger
There is power
It is greed's old refrain...
Here lies some truth:
There's betrayal of Mother Earth
There is bloodshed
There's confusion
Repetition, over again
Nuclear waste in our oceans
That's our mistake
The pollution
The delusion
The solutions are on display
Resolution
Revolution
Over and over and over again
I see the wisdom in the clouds remains
The reach to greater heights regained...
Like vapour heated by my heart in pain
Returns to join the sky's blue eyes...
My spirit seeks to join that cloud tonight
To find an angel analyze:
That all that matters is to rise above,
All that exists is in love...
Rain --- keeps on falling
Sun --- keeps on shining
Earth --- keeps on turning and turning and...
Clouds --- keep on rolling
Trees --- keep on growing and growing and...
Stars --- keep on glowing and glowing and...
Moon --- keeps reflecting from the sun
Water --- keeps flowing
Keep searching
Keep yearning
Keep holding the torch and then...
Keep learning
Keep hoping
Keep Love in your heart and then...
Feel the pain rise
Feel the pain go
Feel the rain falling and
Feel all this Love ---
Rain keeps falling deep inside my soul
The love I want is that mysterious kind
That plays like a restless kitten in the back of my mind
That wakes me from my sleep with a story to tell
Always true, always true
The love I want is that glorious kind
That lifts me high above the crowds and drops me gently on the other side
That watches while I sleep by the light of the moon
Always true, always true
When the world it just don't treat me right
Love that bathes me in the candlelight
So I can rest, while love will scorn the world for me
And I am born again to feel the waters rush,
And hands just like a mother's touch, familiar
The love I want is that fostering kind
That would never raise a hand to me or move too fast and leave me behind
That rocks me off to sleep with a midnight lullaby
