A Yash Chopra Romance
[from trailer]::Samar Anand: I will not forget you, / Not as long as I breathe, / Not as long as I live...
Samar Anand: Saline mischief in your eyes, Small insolence, Laughing in your smile, Waves of dusk unfurled in your hair, I will not forget you, Not until I cease to breathe, Not until I cease to live... You took your hand away, You turned your shadow face pale, You never glanced this way, You, I will not forgive, Not until I cease to breathe, Not until I cease to live.
Akira Rai: [Last lines] Samar Anand has diffused 107th bombs without a scratch on his body and right now as we speak he is diffusing his 108th bomb. This is not a story of courage, not a story of miracles, it is just a simple story of love. A undying love that a man had for a woman, an unflinching love that a woman had for a man and an unending faith that God had in their love. I got into this story thinking that this would be my big ticket to Discovery Channel, I am going to discover a story of courage, bravery, danger, miracles but i ended up discovering love. Love that breaks you but still keeps you together, love that creates distances still brings you closer, love that is true and forever and i have learnt that if you have the power to love like that, then God makes sure that your love finds it's way, all that you have to do is just hang in there and wait, wait for your time. As we speak right now Samar is diffusing his 108th bomb, his last one, It's his last not because he is suddenly scared of dying, It's his last because now it is his time to live now. His wait is finally over, his time has come, his time to love. This is not a story of courage, not a story of miracles, it is just a simple story of love.

Plot
Birth of a legend. Following King Richard's death in France, archer Robin Longstride, along with Will Scarlett, Alan-a-Dale and Little John, returns to England. They encounter the dying Robert of Locksley, whose party was ambushed by treacherous Godfrey, who hopes to facilitate a French invasion of England. Robin promises the dying knight he will return his sword to his father Walter in Nottingham. Here Walter encourages him to impersonate the dead man to prevent his land being confiscated by the crown, and he finds himself with Marian, a ready-made wife. Hoping to stir baronial opposition to weak King John and allow an easy French take-over, Godfrey worms his way into the king's service as Earl Marshal of England and brutally invades towns under the pretext of collecting Royal taxes. Can Robin navigate the politics of barons, royals, traitors, and the French?

Prince John: Henceforth I declare you to be an outlaw.

Robin Longstride: We can't repay our good luck with bad grace, it invites darkness.
Prince John: [sarcastically] Would every man have a castle?::Robin Longstride: In England, every man's home *is* his castle.
Robin Longstride: Girl!::Marion Loxley: *Girl!*
Robin Longstride: Ask me nicely.
Marion Loxley: I trust you had an historic evening.

Patrick "Kitten" Braden: If I wasn't a transvestite terrorist, would you marry me?
Patrick "Kitten" Braden: Oh serious, serious, serious!

Do-do you know what these guys are like, Paddy?::Patrick "Kitten" Braden: Don't let this come between us, Billy.::Billy Hatchett: Shut up! Jesus, what the fuck am I gonna do? No one thought she had the courage. The nerve. Or the lingerie.
[bored by dinner conversation]::Shirley Valentine: It's a good job we're not having soup, or else I'd put me head in it and drown meself.

Shirley Valentine: I mean, most fellas ya know, they've got no idea how to talk to a woman.::Costas Caldes: No?::Shirley Valentine: No. They feel they have to take over the conversation. I mean, I mean with most fellas if you say something like, like my favorite season's autumn, they go oh, oh, my favorite season's spring and then you've got 10 minutes of them talkin' about why they like spring and you weren't talkin' about spring, you were talkin' about autumn. So what do you do? You talk about what they want to talk about. Or you don't talk at all. Or you wind up talking to yourself.
[first lines]::Shirley Valentine: Hiya Wall.::[to the camera]::Shirley Valentine: Well what's wrong with that? There's a woman three doors down talks to her microwave. Talking to a microwave! Wall, what's the world coming to ?
Shirley Valentine: Aw God, oh, Jane, I look like the back end of a tram smash.
Shirley Valentine: Jane divorced her husband. I never knew him, it was before I met her. Apparently she came home from work unexpectedly one morning and found him in bed with the milkman. Honest to God, the milkman ! But from that day forward I've noticed she never takes milk in her tea.

Sospeso in verticale
Rivedo
Sospeso in verticale
Ricordo
Fotogramma dopo fotogramma
La pellicola si incendia
Fotogramma dopo fotogramma
Ecco il punto in cui sorrido
? il punto in cui sorrido
? un semplice dettaglio
Ma ? quello che ti sfugge
? il punto in cui sorrido
? un semplice dettaglio
Ma io divento vulnerabile
Rivedo in verticale
Sospeso
Rivedo e fuori il giorno
? acceso
Fotogramma dopo fotogramma
La pellicola si inceppa, si riavvolge
E ritorna esattamente a quella scena
Fotogramma dopo fotogramma
Ecco il punto in cui sorrido
? il punto in cui sorrido
? un semplice dettaglio
Ed anche se ti sfugge
Ti dice quel che voglio
? il punto in cui sorrido
? il modo in cui mi sveglio
La frase che si ostina
A uscire nel momento
Meno opportuno
Io passo inosservato
Per la strada, lungo muri e marciapiedi
Sulla neve lascio a malapena tracce
Quando passo inosservato
Nelle foto lascio strisce discontinue
Prendo il tempo di profilo
Vivo tra un istante e l’altro
Ma non ? cos? aberrante
Al limite mi sogno inesistente
Io passo inosservato
Nei ricordi sono l’ombra che ti sfugge
Tra le palpebre socchiuse nello sforzo
Perch? passo inosservato
Ed ? un’attribuzione stabile, coerente
Consistente, non esterna
E leggermente dissonante
Ma non ? cos? aberrante
Al limite mi sogno inesistente
Vivo tra un istante e l’altro
Un minuto dopo stiamo gi? scoppiando
Questa guerra atomica non lascia scampo
I tuoi fantasmi
I miei fantasmi
In collisione
Sto avvertendo troppa pressione
? cos? squallido trovarti ancora qui
Elementi e simboli che non comprendo
Tu fotografavi ed io non stavo attento
I tuoi messaggi
I miei messaggi
In equilibrio
