The Fratellis are a rock band from Glasgow, Scotland. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Jon Fratelli (born John Lawler), bass guitarist Barry Fratelli (born Barry Wallace), and drummer and backing vocalist Mince Fratelli (born Gordon McRory). They are best known for their Top 10 hit singles "Chelsea Dagger" and "Whistle For The Choir".
The Fratellis have released four albums; Costello Music (2006), Here We Stand (2008), We Need Medicine (2013) and Eyes Wide, Tongue Tied (2015).
The band's name came from the criminal family in the Goonies. They played their first show on 4 March 2005 in the O'Henry's bar in Glasgow across the road from the Horseshoe bar, and received their first radio playing in 2005, on central Scotland's Beat 106 (later XFM Scotland, now Galaxy Scotland) Beatscene show hosted by Jim Gellatly. They were signed by Fallout Records.
The Fratellis EP was released on 3 April 2006, featuring the tracks "Stacie Anne" and "The Gutterati?". "Creepin' Up the Backstairs" was never a single released by the band, even though a video was made for it. It was not eligible for the charts. The first single released by the band was "Henrietta", which was released on 12 June 2006 and charted at number 19 on the UK Charts.
Jerry O'Neil Lawler (born November 29, 1949) is an American semi-retired professional wrestler and color commentator. He is currently signed to WWE, where he serves as the color commentator on Main Event and SmackDown. Lawler is known throughout the professional wrestling world under the ring name Jerry "The King" Lawler.
Prior to joining WWE in 1992 (then known as the World Wrestling Federation), Lawler wrestled in numerous territories, winning 168 championships throughout his career. Lawler is a one-time AWA World Heavyweight Champion and a three-time WCWA World Heavyweight Champion. Lawler unified both titles by defeating Kerry Von Erich at Superclash III, forming the USWA Unified World Heavyweight Championship, a championship which he held 28 times. Lawler has held more championships than any other current WWE wrestler, though he has never won any WWE championships since joining the company. In 2007, Lawler was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
John Felix Anthony Cena (/ˈsiːnə/; born April 23, 1977) is an American professional wrestler, rapper and an actor signed to WWE, but is on hiatus due to injury as of February 2016. Cena is credited by WWE as the public face of that organization, and has served as its franchise player since 2005.
Cena started his pro wrestling career in 1999 with Ultimate Pro Wrestling (UPW), and won its heavyweight title the following year. Cena signed a developmental contract with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, later renamed to WWE) in 2001, debuting on the main roster in 2002. As of February 2016, Cena has won 24 championships, with 15 reigns as a world champion; he has won the WWE Championship/WWE World Heavyweight Championship a record of 12 times and the World Heavyweight Championship three times (WWE.com has repeatedly described him as a 15-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion), Cena also had five reigns as United States Champion, and four reigns as world tag team champion (two World Tag Team and two WWE Tag Team). Furthermore, he is a 2012 Money in the Bank ladder match winner, a two-time Royal Rumble winner (2008, 2013), and a three-time Superstar of the Year Slammy Award winner (2009, 2010, 2012).

The Fratellis just released their new album, We Need Medicine, and it's pretty spectacular. They're currently supporting it with a brief tour, and just about every show has sold out. They're so clearly more than "Chelsea Dagger." Watch them on A-Sides with Jon Chattman (asidesmusic.com) performing a song and taking part in a brief chat. They even discuss Simon Pegg and The Goonies (separate questions obviously). Filmed by shootmepeter.com at The Log Cabin in the Manhattan Center. A-Sides theme by Blondfire.
We bloody love The Fratellis. That’s why it was an absolute pleasure conducing our latest interview with the band. Touring in support of their fourth studio record Eyes Wide, Tongue Tied, AMBY met up with The Fratellis’ frontman Jon Fratelli at The Cameron House in Toronto a day before their electrifying show at The Danforth Music Hall. Enjoy our exclusive interview as we discuss places they’d love to tour, playing with setlists, reserving energy for live shows, songs that make a grown man cry, and how different they all are.
