This report looks at one recent campaign video, designed to disseminate their radical manifesto. "These are your passports, O Tyrants all over the world", one anonymous jihadist declares to a baying crowd as he spears a pile of the documents with a machete. Within the organisation's mission to establish a unitary caliphate across the region, such credentials are obsolete: mere vestiges of a by-gone age of national boundaries and rival political identities. "I swear by Allah, we will cleanse the Arabian peninsula of you, you defiled ones." Films such as this, depicting the brutal imposition of a supposedly utopian Islamic supra-state - often by means of summary executions and banning opposing sects from public life - are a sign of the increasing sophistication of ISIS' propaganda strategy. They depict well-armed, organised militants, and are cause for concern for Iraqi ex-pats struggling to reach relatives back home. "ISIS have forgotten the real religion, and now they are full of hate and revenge", says Salahaddin al-Beati, who has lived in Switzerland since 1996. Excerpts from the speech at the Grand Mosque in Mosul by ISIS Caliph Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. ISIS emir and newly, self-appointed Caliph for all Muslims blesses mankind with his first public appearance in a video recorded at a mosque in Mosul. In his first appearance, Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi enlightens misguided Muslims and informs them that he too is, in fact, imperfect. Excerpts from his speech were translated exclusively for Monitor Mideast. Al Baghdadi's first lecture consists of interpretations he gave to Quranic verses, whilst some other quotes were plagiarized from the first speech held by the first Sunni Caliph, Abu Bakr. Taken from The Telegraph: Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic State, emerged from the shadows to lead Friday prayers at Mosul's Great Mosque, calling on the world's Muslims to "obey" him as the head of the caliphate declared by the Sunni jihadist group. The notoriously secretive jihadi, who has never before been seen in public, chose the first Friday prayer service of Ramadan to make an audacious display of power in the city that Salafist Islamists have now controlled for three weeks. Speaking from the balcony in his new incarnation as self-anointed "Caliph Ibrahim", al-Baghdadi announced himself as "the leader who presides over you", urging Muslims to join him and "make jihad" for the sake of Allah. Under his direction, the Islamic world would be returned to "dignity, might, rights and leadership", he said. "I am the wali (leader) who presides over you, though I am not the best of you, so if you see that I am right, assist me," he said, dressed in a black turban and robe reminiscent of the last caliphs to rule from Baghdad. The ISIS 'Caliphate' : Christians of the Middle East say no to fundamentalism

Straightforward hosts Middle Eastern religious figures from various Christian sects who were all open for dialogue with radical Islamist figure Anjem Choudary. From London, Choudary says he has no allegiance to Prime Minister David Cameron and totally supports the ISIS. Revd. Nadim Nassar, the only Syrian priest in the Church of England, director and co-founder of the Awareness Foundation, talks about the negligible support of the Church in The West, and touched on the false rhetoric that views Christians of the Levant as an expansion of the ones in the West. Nassar insists the ISIS and similar fundamentalist militants committed crimes against Christians in Syria and the region. From Egypt, Coptic writer Salah Stephen, tells us about the aftermath of the Muslim Brotherhood in power and the atrocities condemned against the Christians of Egypt when they stood for freedom. Assyrian (indigenous Iraqi) Barem Behram talks about the world looking at the Middle East as separate entities, each of a different sect, rather than nation states. And while controversial British Islamist Anjem Choudary voiced his beliefs, Islamist scholar Abduallah Al Andalusi seemed skeptical about the ISIS-declared 'Caliphate'. Al Andalusi Voiced concerns on its form of government and it's legitimacy, and the fact that Abu Bakr al Baghdadi the self-proclaimed Caliph has no control over his very personal security. The Debate heats when Choudary mentions the Spanish inquisition arguing that it is the right of Muslims to protect themselves against similar events, indirectly suggesting that today's actions are a response to the past. Mother Agnes Mary de la Croix joins from Beirut, known for her field charity during the ongoing Syrian conflict and her efforts towards reconciliation amongst Syrian factions and her mediation before releasing the Mar Thekla Maaloula Nuns who were abducted by the Islamists of Al-Nusra Front. Bkerke, (Lebanon) the See of the Maronite (Catholic) Patriarchate has called to double tolerance towards fundamental ideology. Nevertheless, ISIS franchises in the Bekaa vowed to cleanse the country of polytheism. London-based Joseph Barakat of the Lebanese Forces party argues that it is hypocritical that Fundamental Islamists of Britain want to practice their right of freedom of expression on UK soil, a right they do not grant to others under Sharia Law where ISIS governs. Mother Agnes then explains, as a Christian, she is open for dialogue with any group, as long as bloodshed is avoided. And advises Choudary to accept others just like Christians accept Muslims, despite practises that are rejected in Christianity, citing polygamy, for instance. Anjem Choudary insists: Sharia rule is imminent, under which Christians will have the freedom either to live with no visible signs of their identity (churches crosses etc..) -- or leave.
