Plot
The film tells the true story of French clown Miloud Oukili from his arrival in Romania in 1992 (three years after the fall of Ceausescu) to his encounter with the street children of Bucharest, known as «boskettari» who live in the streets and sleep in Bucharest's sewers, eking a living out of petty crime, begging, and prostitution. Miloud wants to meet these neglected kids, turned into a quasi-feral state by their tragic past and ravaged by physical and sexual abuse and drug addiction, and shine some light in their lives. Although his efforts are at first hampered by corrupt and prejudiced Romanian police officers, Miloud will succeed in creating a real circus company with the «boskettari». The street children will perform in Bucharestâs main square, proving the world that they are not rejects but human beings.

Lisbon, early 1940s. The neutral port town is an open door to freedom, for those who are escaping the Nazi occupied France and eastern European countries, and a war field for spies of every description. Lisbon became a cosmopolitan town, where the Duke of Windsor, Primo de Rivera, Pola Negri, Leslie Howard, Walter Schellenberg and Juan Garcia are often together in the luxury hotels and night-clubs. Espionage and crime go hand in hand, despite of, or encouraged by, the Portuguese secret police.

Frankly, I'd take you.::[King Achmet laughs contentedly]::Queen Dolores: That shows you what I think of Gabrielovitsch.
Queen Dolores: Put Gabrielovitsch and Sienkovitsch together, and what have you got? Gabrielovitsch and Sienkovitsch.
An ambassador is the highest ranking diplomat who represents a nation and is usually accredited to a foreign sovereign or government, or to an international organization.
Sometimes countries also appoint highly respected individuals as Ambassador at Large who are assigned specific responsibilities, and they work to advise and assist their governments in a given area. The word is also often used more liberally for persons who are known, without national appointment, to represent certain professions, activities and fields of endeavor.
In everyday usage it usually applies to the ranking government representative stationed in a foreign capital. The host country typically allows the ambassador control of specific territory called an embassy, whose territory, staff, and even vehicles are generally afforded diplomatic immunity in the host country.
The senior diplomatic officers among members of the Commonwealth of Nations are known as High Commissioners, who are the heads of High Commissions. Representatives of the Holy See are known as Papal or Apostolic Nuncios, while the head of a Libyan mission prior to the 17 February Revolution was a "Secretary of the Libyan People's Bureau".
Carl Robert Olof Gustafsson (born 20 December 1964 in Katrineholm) is a Swedish comedian, actor, and member of Killinggänget. He has sometimes been called "the funniest man in Sweden".
While Killinggänget is mostly known for its use of irony and pop-culture references, Gustafsson usually employs a more traditional and physical style of comedy, such as slapstick and playing characters with highly exaggerated personalities. He is well known for his range of voices and accents, and his tendency to play people who end up hurting themselves. This style is a lot more pronounced when he is working solo or with other people outside Killinggänget.
Some of the roles that Robert has portrayed include:
In addition, Gustafsson is a skilled imitator and his many famous imitations include Sven Wollter, Ernst-Hugo Järegård, Tony Rickardsson, Robert Aschberg and Magnus Härenstam as well as former Prime Ministers Göran Persson and Carl Bildt.
Gustafsson is one of Sweden's most famous and beloved comedians, having appeared in many TV shows and films. He has also appeared on Norwegian television, in the show Åpen Post. Besides his iconic work with Killinggänget he has been a cornerstone of Swedish entertainment for many years. He has played in sitcoms such as Rena rama Rolf, and been a regular guest on comedy shows such as Gäster med gester and Parlamentet, a popular panel show similar to BBC's If I Ruled the World.

Mr. Lif released his first single, Elektro, in 1998, attracting the attention of labels Grand Royal and Definitive Jux. Working closely with producer and Definitive Jux label head El-P, Lif released a series of critically acclaimed singles and EPs, starting with Enters the Colossus in 2000. In 2000 and 2001, he won the Kahlua Boston Music Awards for Outstanding Rap/Hip Hop Act. Samuel Bazawule (born in 1982), known by the stage name Blitz the Ambassador, is a Ghanaian-American hip-hop artist and visual artist based in Brooklyn, USA.
Samuel Bazawule was born in Accra, Ghana in April 1982. He is the third of four children and attended the renowned Achimota School. While in school he amassed awards for his visual art, but later developed an obsession with hip hop music after hearing his older brother play the classic Public Enemy album It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back. Drawing on his love for history and social observation, he began to research and write historically-loaded rhymes for which he became famous in school: “I had never heard young Black people express themselves in that way before,”
After graduation from Achimota School in 2000, Blitz (as he had come to be known) was first recognized by Ghanaian Ace producer Hammer of The Last Two. Blitz was asked to come to the studio the next day after delivering an impressive eight bars upon meeting Hammer, who wasted no time in putting him on wax. He recorded a verse on the song Deeba and - in the fashion of one of his idols, Nas, gained instant notoriety and received an award for best new artist at the 2000 Ghana Music Awards. Soon after, in 2001, he moved to the USA to study at Kent State University in Ohio. It was while studying for his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration that he developed his skills as a live artist, performing at several live shows and opening for iconic rappers such as Rakim as well as recording a self-released album, Soul Rebel (2004), under the moniker Blitz.
Oxmo Puccino (born Abdoulaye Diarra in 1974) is a French hip hop musician.
Puccino was born in 1974 in Ségou, Mali. He came to Paris one year later, and lived in the XIXe arrondissement from the age of 5. He is the older brother of Mamoutou Diarra, a basketball player of some international renown. He appeared in the 2006 film Arthur and the Minimoys.
A longtime hip-hop fan, at age 21 Diarra began his collaboration with the fledgling rap collective Time Bomb, honing his craft alongside future superstars like Booba and Diam's. He quickly developed into a lyricist with a metaphorical ingenuity far more advanced than his contemporaries, crafting violent yet strangely poetic portraits of urban Paris life and drawing on the street-smart American hip-hop of the Notorious B.I.G. and other icons to document life in Paris' hardscrabble 19th district. In 1996 Oxmo Puccino made his recorded debut with Pucc. Fiction, a contribution to the compilation L432. A series of subsequent mixtape appearances solidified his growing reputation within the French rap underground, and in 1998 he issued his solo debut, Opéra Puccino. Its 2001 follow-up, L'Amour Est Mort, proved Puccino's creative and commercial breakthrough, while 2004's Le Cactus de Sibérie confirmed his star status. After signing to the venerable jazz label Blue Note, Puccino assembled a new backing group, the Jazzbastards, to record 2006's Lipopette Bar.
Show your soul for birth of freedom
Leave the cold to share our vision
Will you follow me
Will you walk with me
We'll hold your heart if it bleeds
Let me be your hand of guidance
No more solitude
No more independence
If God weeps he weeps through me
And if God hurts it hurts in me
I am
Light to cast away shadows
The Spirit, Holy Ghost, and even Jesus
God walking earth
Ambassador
Scattering all dark thoughts wandering
I shatter all doubts surfacing
This is my rescue and salvation
Oi clarts! Hold on to my fuckin' bags a minute
While I go to the toilet for a wank.
Just fuckin' knock on the door if the fuckin' plane's coming innit.
(Last call for Mr A Hussein flight number DA432 Dragon Airlines now boarding gate 1)
Oh fuck, oh fuckin hell that's me, that's me I gotta go, where's me fuckin bum bag!
I was given my orders by the Goldie Lookin' Chain
To be Port's first importer of Mary Jane
Cos I smokes more draw than your average rasta
I'm now Newports's first draw ambassador.
I got blocko in Morrocco, made a plan in Afganistan
About bringing the draw back to the motherland
I told them the deal so they'd listen to my skit
About going into business, there's a gap in the market.
They knew I had to be good and not fuckin' shitty
Cos Newport town was now Newport City
I was shagging this bird who looked like Godzilla
And she said she knew this Colombian Guerrilla
So I turned her over and gave her a poke
And went to South America to score the coke.
By this time next week if I'm careful clarts
I'll be importing more draw than fuckin' Howard Marks.
He's the Draw Ambassador
And he's Adam Hussein
He's the Draw Ambassador
And he's Adam Hussein
Got draw in Singapore and pills in Ecuador.
Shagging loads of Thai birds has left my cock raw
And what's more, I can't stop making the score.
I had to leave Italy cos I caused a war.
Flew out the Port and came back to a city.
He's Adam Hussein and he's sitting pretty
As draw ambassador on a global scale.
He imports by the Ki and always makes a sale.
I sold draw in Mexico and even to a Eskimo.
Got out on bail in the capital of Israel.
Now I'm back on the streets, and real wrecked up
I heard Ballsy's causing a riot in the World Cup.
I sold a nine bar to a bra in Canada
And I bought an ashtray for my fuckin' Grandma
Pulled a scam in Amsterdam and got away in a van
And now I'm on the run avoiding the fuckin' can
He's the Draw Ambassador
And he's Adam Hussein
Got messed in Budapest and got a tattoo in Timbuktu.
Threw up over some Thai bird after sniffin' fuckin' glue.
Then went onto Sweden cos I needed a reason
To get out of Saudi cos they wanted me for treason.
We got fucked on the exchange rate making me irate
By shifting this draw from state to state.
I can't wait to see the Euro
So I can open my own change-de-bureau.
I nicked a new suit, I nicked a new tie.
I wouldn't trust me two fags I'm really quite sly.
I went to Paraguay smoked a cone and got high
But I had to leave cos they thought I was a spy.
I went to Ibiza on my way back from Jamaica
I got a red carpet and my picture in the paper.
When I got back to the Port I had duty free:
Draw, fags and Rizlas for all the GLC.
He's the Draw Ambassador
And he's Adam Hussein
He's the Draw Ambassador
And he's Adam Hussein
Yeah my missus have got a kid like, er
She gets all them wicked benefits from the DSS like you know, er
She gets loads of money man off the DSS.
She got a new car 'n all man it's wicked!
It's serious man.
Yeh I seen a dead cat, and my mate pushed his fingers in it's eyes 'n
It come, all stuff come out. It was safe as fuck like you know, I had a bit of draw like man.
I am a robot! I am a robot! Destroy! Destroy!
Stop it man.
Destroy! I am a robot! I want to smash something up!
I am a robot! Eeeeneeee!
[Chorus]
All praise, honor and glory be-long
To the God who's strong with authority
He's matchless, this rap is lyrically graphic
Cause it's a tactic to speak truth so you can grasp it
[The Tonic]
If you can grasp this
You can live in fullness in between your birth date and your death date
Where the dash is
And your casket or your fancy grave brick
Can be the hot spot where the cherubim sit
'Til the Father says, "Roll back the stone bring him to the thrown,
Yea, cause where He laid his heart is his home"
check the milli-ons, higher than "killi-ons"
What a love-jones it took to breath on these dry bones
Could you imagine what's gonna happen in His splendor?
The never ender, when we return to Sender
Surrender be the prerequisite, no visit, familia! And that's iz-it
Iz all you need is to accept the Savior,
The Christ, Emmanuel, Messiah, the Flavor
How much Glory Flossin' can you get
You talk about a "Baller" on the set! What?
[Repeat chorus]
[The Ambassador]
With everlasting passion brothers are askin',
How're you gettin' to heaven, and we ask without bashin'
There's a price, but you can't use credit or cash man
Sin is ice, and your "works" shoes ain't got no traction
God's not a white or black man, Asian or Latin
He's the invisible captain, check the Word, save the yappin'
Historically when sharing the gospel story we
Assuredly would hear them say "scram kid you're boring me"
But since then, something's convinced them
Because of sin they're fenced in
Their sins are crimson and only Christ can cleanse them
This can only be the Spirit aka the Paraclete
Who you only meet in Christ aka the narrow street
Someone I desperately want to meet
Cause I'm a feen for the Rock and I don't mean Sean Connery
The truth's diesel so all the earthly minded people
Look up so you can see the point like a steeple
[Repeat Chorus]
Is that you, are you convinced black?
Tell me if you can sense that
There's a gap and only Christ can mend that-tell you friends that
It's sad when you think God's only opposed to bad sin
When all sin is bad so next to Him we're all bad men
Word up, it doesn't have to be rape or murder
God's got beef with all sin like steaks and burgers
This should explain human suffering and pain
Almost check mate but wait we know a Name
Christ emerged out of the mist knowing that all men
Were born just like Oliver Twist-a bunch of orphans
And the cross can pay the wage to save the lost man
Awesome, now you can stop fearing the coffin
If this rocks ya let nothing stopy ya the Poppa's got ya
Drop to your knees and then ask Him to adopt ya
He'll take you out the muck and mire,
tell you that you're going higher
Then he'll light up your life just like bonfire
Chorus: Look at all the time men are wastin'
Dying for lack of this information
And we're not just thrilled to be giving it out
We're skilled at living it out
Heels, we're diggin' them out
Grab your cross, plus hold it down
stand strong young soldier, hold your ground
Stickin' Christian flag poles in the ground
Rep what you believe and soon you'll receive your golden crown
[Verse 1]
It goes like this: there's not a single soul righteous
A plague's struck us like a boxing pro's tight fist
Hearts are cold like ice is you know what the price is
Separation like a divorced husband and wife is
Life is a climb up the hill like Lauren and Cypress
Man without Christ is like keyboards without a typist
God's gripe is with sin and we who seem to like it
Instead of snipe it we'll call Williams so he can hype it
But if you saw the measuring rod that God was holdin'
you'd know you fall shorter than Webster and Gary Coleman
The whole man---mind, body, and soul---sin's controlin'
It's like you're programmed and need cleansing like a colon
Hit the dugout, 'cause ever since we told God to butt out
We've been scoreless like a wack team that's being shut out
We cut out God like a coupon, won't trust Him like we won't two cons
So days are gray like Poupon
Full of pain like a toe with two corns with small shoes on
Not the same - like Star Wars before Luke's born
God can see the cu' form.
Who's side are you on?
Infinite wisdom - versus the brains of a newborn
Dangerous like unskilled men putting a roof on.
Deadly like firing every single nuke-bomb
[Repeat Chorus]
[Verse 2]
Jesus went out on a limb so He could deal with sin
And be the bridge to bring sinful men back to Him
I heard he was the Surgeon, I heard He ripped the curtain
Now God and man can start mergin'
Virgin's exclusivity is what He's after
The Master's captured hearts, we'll marry at the rapture
I hear the laughter but what's worth giving up
the chance to see the Son of God in a tux
It's a pain I can only go cry on a train ride
Brains fried from the ism and the saint Ives
Ain't wise yet the whole earth's on the same side
Them against the God who made the earth and His name's I Am
That I Am, Jesus Son of Man
He be the Lamb and Daddy to Uncle Sam
Universal land lord or the Supreme court
heaven's king, earth's life support
Boy, sin's got you locked, you're mad spoiled
But like aluminum, you humans will get your plans foiled
Your heart be the soil, I've got the seed
The word of God, it's heard a broad and it starts breeds of
Believers Jesus look a likes
God lovers, sin haters, look the mic
Can be used as a tool to voice God's views
Jesus must be the choice all choose
All loose if they snooze on the One bruised
Arms are too short and can't fit the Son's shoes
On the one –two's the good news comes to all men
Who truly went out on a limb
[Ambassador]
From the Philly pad I've been servin' Christ and now it's really ...
nonbelievers are treating Jesus like a silly fad
Weak like the spot Achilles had they got me really mad
Talking 'bout · relationships they never really had
The kill me dog but it's not about the skills we have
Because the city is sickly the need the Balm on Gilead
Known for doin' things that's odd to see like the Iliad
Like standing on top of the water like a lily pad
The Life Giver who turns my heart like a river
From when it was trashy and when it was nasty like lives
He fills His quiver with children with who follow His orders
Sons and daughters
who've been changed like dollars to quarters
Holler. He'll pour you grace and then give you some more ...
Give you wisdom when you're in a trial like a court case
Can't show you the pure face but you can get the pure taste goodness
never running out like you're raw space
All sing to the only acceptable offering
All things reconciled by His death on the cross beam
With blood that was clean, and blood that "ca-ching!"
He purchased men so that must mean worship the King
God the Son - the only One with a plan to redeem
Stronger that the Army-Navy, Air force, and the Marines
Elohim the A to Z and all that's in between
The Supreme who could have let us fall yet intervened
Called the elect made sure we accept
Roots us in Christ so we can grow like a chia pet
So hail the King, priest and prophet
The inexhaustible topic The Person
of God you can peep with your optic
[Enoch]
In the eyes of this world my life is trife
they don't understand when I say I've died to Christ
died to my rights
Livin' selfless, render myself helpless
trustin' God, set my heart where his eternal wealth is
What else is there to live for, what else is there to hope in still
I bow to Christ with a broken with a broken will
becoming broken bread and poured out wine
when seen with the natural eye authentic
Christian livin' blows the mind
What validates my faith go check
you'll see from the holy scroll to the codex
that God inspires the whole text
the scriptural facts will surprise
and paralyze you like broke necks
shake up your whole set
leave your soul vexed
I pray you dream of his holiness and wake up in cold sweats
Can't dissolve the mixture
no matter how odd the picture
you can't deny the God of scripture equipped with tha
truths that transform becoming a thorn where man swarm
We bring the real when we kingdom build upon the rock
He's the one you can either stand on
or be the one whom he lands on
weather the sinkin sand storms
until you realize there's no other God
worth taking a chance on
We keep our hands on the plow breaking up the fallow ground
while Christ can found seek him and follow now
[The Phanatik]
It's been told that men without
Christ would face insurmountable odds
and the greatest of these would be a close encounter with God
(and you don't want that) even though your free to give it a try
100% before the Most High
either live it or die
Cause ever since Adam sinned life was done
but thanks to Christ the Son
when Death marked us up with it's pricin' gun
Jesus came and smiled and paid
for us all and brought the work of sin to an
end like the child labor law
when the wild and wayward saw
that in Jesus God forgave us all who repented
and consented that our way was wrong
then they saw why the truth rocks us
so hard enough to work arduous
to bogard yo just pardon us. Like the
marginous distance between mars and us
understand men are from dust and
smart enough or large enough to harness
up and jump the marvelous distance
between us and God we just tarnish up His image
My mission is to open eyes
and I'm steady mobilizin'
because of the hope I find in Jesus, tougher than
Teflon, hung with the common thugs
though He had more class than Upper Eshelon
I'm in love with the way He put us back together, life was broke
then Christ came in handy like Black and Decker
the fact is pleasure could never measure up black
to Christ so tell us where's your treasure at
this song was not on the tapes you gave us
(AMBA!)
Gimme dat fire (fire)

I wanted trees just to alter my mind
Now I find im wantin’ Jesus

But you’re kind of a Saul type
You keep with the trends
Cool’s your middle name
On your pants you got a chain
The juice like Lil’ Wayne
You’re tattooed in a Benz
Maybe you’re inarranged
Ladies, you drivin’ crazy
Nothin’s crazier than your frame!
(This is a shame!)
It’s the age and I’m game
To be an agent of change
And at age, it’s like a page in a flame
Just smoke, just mirrors, just vapor is plain
You see, a Holy God is not one of your favorite things
I was just like you,
But God moved on a fellow
Gave me good news
Dat I could use on the ghetto
Maybe it’s you who wants a
U-turn to settle
You dead or you do??
I’ll tell you it’s been settled
Gimme dat fire

It can’t be three out of four
If you’re sick of fallin’ short
Then he got a cure
Gimme dat cure, dat door, dat hero
Gimme dat grace dat never chased the dinero
How much glory should you give your boy? Zero
That would cause beef with the Lamb like a Gyro
Gimme dat day reaches you over shinin’

Virtue over diamonds
Gimme some change
Sometimes I do need the dough
Gimme some pain
Somethin’ — I do need to grow
Gimme what I won’t ask for

Gimme dat fire, flame

You can have the chains
Gimme dat God who can gimme all things
Yeah, this is just to let cats know
Don’t focus on what you can’t have
Get all you can have
We call dat freedom
Dat’s the joy of God

In his world
On his terms
SHOUTOUT TO PASTOR E!
Yeah
Gimme dat, gimme dat, gimme dat
I want it all, I want it all
Gimme dat
[Hook]
We goin' get you op... we goin' get you open
Ready or not I gotta tell you from the top it's on
Christ is God, for Him I've got to rock this joint
I was born around the same time Hip-Hop was formed
Vacant lots were swarmed, kids from the block performed
Soon cocky's norm
Rappers and cocky form
Went together like college and sloppy dorms
But the flows were butter like poppin' corn
And the shows would get you hyped like Rocky horns
Some couldn't understand why Poppy warned
"Stay away" till the day when rappers like Biggie and Pac were gone
But prior Christ came and got me on
Taught me not to trust in the biological clock we're on
We're in the age where the caps are peeled
Even in school young guns'll have you runnin' like track and field
And life after the casket's real
And since that's the deal
His word gets spilled when I grasp the steel
Forget mass appeal my heavenly Dad can deal
With making His word something that all cats can feel
I'll let grace talk 'cause grace stalks the stray hearts
She's got something in store that's super like K-Marts
[Hook]
Do you see what I see?
Hip-Hop is a drug and it's got the city plugged like an IV
Gotta give it upit's the voice of the streets
It doesn't take muchjust a voice and a beat
You can keep a crowd hyper
Control the souls of a whole generation kind of like a modern Pied Piper
Face it; today ya favorite rapper's the icon
That's gotta hold on you like the wrap of a python
Lights onChrist is the hype jawn
For Him I've gotta get my write on
So whether in the streets or in the booth
I'm a get at you, and I'm a prove you don't need the gin and juice
Mommie you don't gottaDROP IT LIKE IT'S HOT
And if you do it 'cause you wannaSTOP IT LIKE IT'S NOT
Son if you like the gangsta mind... think of where them gangstas wind
[Hook]
Nix your smarts
I know one who tricks the smart
Slick's his art; his canvas is your wicked heart
You're in a spiritual fog and it's thick and dark
And like a spiritual frog you get picked apart
But I know One who'll fix the heart
Trust me he'll set you free like the girl from 106 and Park
So shine your light like when a wick gets sparked
And if you don't give him props then the bricks'll talk
We switched up, we switched the pitch up
The lyrical mixture is fully loaded with Scripture
But some are fancy and cute
When people can't understand
They say, "ahh you just can't handle the truth."
Nah the bad news is; while the gospel's an offense
lack of clarity and substance just adds to it
So leave out the trivial tricks
Moms and kids can both love itkind of like the cereal Kix
I may burn out like a candle and
I may pass away
I may fall just like a shooting star
my heart will stay
I`ll be yours until forever,
forever I`ll be true to the promise
I have made from the day that
I found you
forever your in my heart
even if were apart
I say, forever I`ll be yours
forever I love you
I say, forever I`ll be yours
forever I love you
my love will never fade away
even if I`ll die and
I will love you until the end of time
even without your smile
So help me please I beg you
don`t walk away I need you
just stay with me and be by my side
take my hand and will work it out
Unti,l forever I`ll be yours
forever I love you
I say, forever I`ll be yours
forever I`ll be true
my love will never fade away
even if I`ll die and
I will love you until the end of time
even without your smile
So help me please I beg you
[Chorus]
We be the products of the city life
but yet we live for Christ
City kids that rip the mic
but we're a different type
We love God so we hate wrong, and love what's right
We love man so it's strong and it's tight
[Verse 1]
We be the products of the city life, but yet we live for Christ
City kids that rip the mic, but we're a different type
We shine like a head light watch things get bright
We get hype and advertise Christ just like a web sight
Rock the baggy gear but shed light, that's how it's meant to be
Man peeps the outside, but God looks into me
He invented me, and looks within to see my inners
Used to see a sinner who sinned, but since Christ He sees a winner
Enter into the mind of a Christ urbanite
True urban type, yet will still spill the words of life
What a blend, young ordinary men, but yet believers
In Jesus Who placed us into the ecclesia
Let's just see ya pluck us out His hand-no chance
We're in a romance, more romantic than a slow dance
We hold hands and walk rough streets, we feel the heat from
Crews peepin' the flavor of we who be speakin'
On behalf of the God that's got wrath He can pour out
Put you in a hell blacker then the heads at Moorehouse
"Life" choose it-eternal life, you'll never lose it
God so loved the world He sent Jesus to die and prove it
Who's it that claims to match His matchless demo
Of love when love is the Savior's "M.O."
Cultural relevance, biblical intelligence
God can save souls without my wisdom or my eloquence
[Chorus repeat]
[Verse 2]
Call the Surgeon cause I'm hurtin'
The pain has got me staggerin' and swervin'
I see the trife life that's in the urban
All my brothers' rockin' kufees or a turban
Claiming that they're god, or Allah's the god they're servin'
But when I say I represent the Person Who made the earth and
Present my case without cursin', they say I'm churchin'
And on the streets that ain't working, they laugh at me
They call themselves god, but they love sinning what audacity
There has to be someone who understands, perhaps it be
My sisters, but many of them are anti-chastity
Sisters vainly hope that all will end well
Then tell me how you reject Christ, but love yourself some Denzel
For men and women sin's become a trend and a way of livin'
Truly the anti Christ, humanist age has risen
It's called "self-ism"---the fastest growing religion
It's trapping people up like prison
I'm on a mission---boots laced, truth, grace, are my topics
Biblical optics that can spot even the microscopic
God's vision is x-ray, He sees every day plus the next day
He sees through your Mary K
Let's say He sees all things---for real son
Rophe, He heals all pain---we're dealin'
With the one God, Savior and the Hope
The only One to address the issue of sin like an envelope
[Chorus repeat]
[Verse 3]
I know it's bugged, you feel the tug, God's love is lovin' you
But it's the city life, it's too attractive plus it's huggin' you
But Satan muggin' you 'cause although you're a hard rock
You still don't know where you go when your heart stops
All those jokes you make about you'll be in hell partying
Sorry and you know those jokes are played out like Atari and
No one's laughing 'cause what happens is as soon as you'll
Start to laugh you're all at another brother's funeral
I'm not the bad guy, nah, I bare the pain with you
But God can fix you, you've been torn, let Him re-stitch you
I'm just a no name with no fame
But I'd hate to see you mistake the real Christ for the man in the 8 x 10 frame
It's no game, many people seem to think they've got the truth
But truth is a Person-Jesus Christ the absolute
I might be fan-less, and friendless and fameless
But because my sin debt is paid my name is blameless
Who can explain this, only the Lord could arrange this
Divine rendezvous reminding you of Perfect Strangers
Dig the blend like Tropicana Twister
Godly and manly, just another hypostatic mixture
[Chorus]
(One-two)
No gats, no blunts, no brew
(One-Two)
To my adults and my youth
(One-two)
The ax is at the root
(One-two)
It's time to bear fruit one two
Lyrically puttin' you down with truth it's the
Divine mixture-rhymes plus divine Scripture
No hold back Jesus is in the rhyme so that
Your heart can be confronted by the God who wants your soul back
And no matter what you have to do we'll take control back
And turn the show back over to Jesus (yea you know that)
Rhymes are pro-Christ instead of pro this and pro that
Cause many Christian songs lyrically are spiritually low fat
Religion sells, but we dwell in anti-Christian realms
So if you love Him then you've got to represent Him well
Pants might be saggin' slightly, but just imagine
Me displaying the beauty of Christ like a pageant
In your area I'm tellin' ya Christ will marry ya
But you've got to switch, let Him be your long distance carrier
No switching fee and you'll get more than just some minutes free
Cause when it's Jesus your minutes merge into infinity
Chorus 2x
This rap is just another effort to attract this
World that's into internets and faxes
The fact is, it's gonna burn to ashes like matches
But at last kids you've got the Good News, now pass it
Be graphic, cause the masses cut classes so they ain't heard it
But watch the way you word it, you don't want to change the verdict
Death, we borrow the breath plus the chest
Man used legs to step, man knew God then left Him
Steady theivin', leaving God for no reason
We've been booted out of Eden, what a fall like the autumn season
Instead of God we look to stars and science
Separated from the Power like an unplugged appliance
Dig this, another Savior? Check the Script
It's a myth, it's like a pig's fist, it don't exist
If you find a witness do forget this The devil's the blinding business
The counterfeit shining business
Chorus 2x
Understand sin sick man, you need a doctor
My "knocka," better call on Christ, only He gotcha
We all need a substitutionary Bleeder
Cause sin draws the blood from men like mosquito
Bow your knee to the Great Hope, Jesus the scapegoat
Not hard to find like bad school kids with fake notes
Some reject Christ cause it's popular, unaware his death is stoppin' the
Wrath of holy God from droppin' ya
Hope the Good News starts rockin' ya
Before the last tick tock from the biological clock in ya
Ahh, it's finite man acting autonomous
You say you want to trust? Then believe cause it's synonymous
Admit it, he died for sins that you committed
You did it, but if you trust Christ then He'll forget it
He's with it, consisdered the price and still He fitted
His deity inside humanity just for the visit
When the issue of paying for sins comes up even Giants jet
In the Garden they say, "Knicks that", in Shea they say, "We ain't met"
A blood sport with such a display of skillz
Cause even in Buffalo they know they can't pay the bills
Oh wretched man- the problem ain't that we rock Timbs
That I am- the problem is we've got sin
Who shall deliver me?- even with a new start
From this body of death?- we need to be freed, we need a new heart
Oh wretched man- the problem is not just behavior
That I am- the problem is there's rot in your nature
Who will deliver me- even with a new start
Our Lord- we need to be freed, we need a new heart
We're in a hip-hop era full of hip-hop errors
Not just the block but the heart's what hip-hop mirrors
Somebody told me that we're not naughty
I objected and directed their attention to the Top 40
We stopped at the top ten; looked how we propped sin
The case was closed when the videos were dropped in
From naked females to dirty sex in emails
It affects from retail down to the street sales- every detail
You can leave the heart unsupervised
Watch the heart ask for sin and ask the cashier to please super-size
Read Romans and peep your corners for bonus
Were gonna be wrong as long as were breathing- we need a Jonah
I serve word cause it's what the suburbs and the hood needs
Wreckin' the thought that heaven's earned by your goods deeds
I'm mad precise when it's the after-life
You bank on good deeds but you can't think this "dis-counts" like half the price
Sin is genetic it's
The reason your appetite for it is husky like that school up in Connecticut
Check the Bible for a honest diagnosis
Or just smell cause you can tell like chronic halitosis
We all sin- you know we each are prone
If only humans were affected then to each his own
But God sees it and it's reached his throne
In him there's no sin
Like there's no such thing as pizza bones
The spiritual truth- we have no spiritual loot
We're bankrupt and we have bad spiritual root
Every day we grow bad spiritual fruit
We need God to hold back that spiritual boot
Whenever God is ready he can break down a sinner
Take down a sinner, like I take a steak down for dinner
The job of God the Spirit is to pull
A person to Christ
It's like it's irresistible
He makes Christ known
Your eyes light up like when the break light's on
There's a change- "I've grown"
I know it happened to me; I met the Surgeon
He changed my heart, there went the blunts and the cursin'
Kept on workin', for certain He keeps purgin'
Now instead bourbon, I'm fervently reading Spurgeon
That blow God handed me
Put me on hand and knee
Brought a kid that's caramel low like Anthony
Now can it be? Got me in His family
Reppin' the kingdom of God, droppin' Him on the industry
This is the truth, I pray you can catch it fam'
[Chorus]
So many people are hurt inside
Don't even know him even though they might have heard of God
Can He love me? Will He hear my prayer?
Or, think I'm ugly when He see's my clothes or sees my hair
I heard of a Savior heard He bled and died
We could give Him our sins and we could get his life
Yet I wonder for me if He will He even care
When He sees my clothes or when he sees my hair
[Verse One]
Let me get up in this verse right now
I'm thinking back to when we first got down
I only groped but when you searched I found
Snatched quick though you knew how I acted
That's what's sick, I was a pick that you drafted?
A backflip with a split couldn't be more backwards
In fact that's classic
I love to see your tactics
But I think back to when I'd shrink back on the real B
It's real deep; I really thought you could never feel me
Cause my shirts were double X when really I was a small
Double shirts for the effect when really it wasn't called for
Pants baggie- they sagged and dragged on the floor
But I was never that boy to show the back of his draws
But I did hang, kicked slang, me and my boys did
Rocked doo-rags till it put a crease in our foreheads
And on the surface others said we were worthless
But I'm glad you purposed to love us and you made us your purchase
[Chorus]
[Verse Two]
I was convinced of your power so I was down to comply with Your standard
Your God the Father- Creator- I was your product
But I noticed my focus it wasn't on You; my hope was you would
Meet me heaven but as for earth I'd roll with the hood
I really didn't want your heaven- just didn't want hell more
I really didn't want your presence- just didn't want hell more
I didn't know you were beautiful
You made advances but in fact I'd push you back like a cuticle
I was a bad date
But, now I know what it was you got lumped in with some people like a crab cake
They elevate their own; they celebrate
They make their own what's right
They say it's what you like
Everything else- they make it wrong
I'm glad you don't hate our music or fashion
Unless these things and how you intend us to use 'em are clashin'
Cause for us, this is just a part of the culture
But it's the reason why some think they shouldn't try to approach ya
[Bridge]
Man sees the outside
But God sees the inside
No matter your outside
Through faith He'll come inside (2x)
[Chorus]
[Verse Three]
I could weep
So many people never heard of the name
Yeah they heard the word "Jesus" but never heard of His fame
They feel cut off from Him
Not just cause of their sin
But because of their clothes, hair, or their color of skin
And they've been afloat- drowning in sin, we're in a boat
Yet they've never been approached
Cause we see them as different folks
God's offer's universal- yeah
He wants you in His circle- yeah
He wants you in the doo-rag
And He wants you in the purple hair
You can just take a cursory
Glance at the word and see
God made the plans of diversity
Is there one godly ethnic group
In the church should we all wear one polyester suit
Or maybe rock sandals and robes, no ham I suppose
When we meet maybe we should only eat salmon and loaves
Should we only like the organ or the violin
I'm inquirin', I admire men up in the choir and women
But one minute, why do some people assume that God's iPod
Got no tunes that got the "boom-bap"
He's with White, with Black, with Lat
With Asian with Rock, Country, Jazz, with Rap
[Chorus]
You're born, you suffer, you die, but there's a Loophole
[Verse 1]
You're born, you suffer, you die - ever ask why?
That's the task I have, I'm comin' just as I am
My plan is to help the planet understand this:
man is under the 2nd law of thermo-dynamics
Which means at the seams everything falls apart
Genesis 3 the Fall's the start
Now I'm called to spark hope in an ugly world rougher than rugby
Where stuff be making it hard to say, "Jesus Loves Me."
Plus we see the sorrow
And many get rich bettin' their bottom dollar "The sun won't be out tomorrow."
They question, "If there's a God how can nobody see Him?
And if He's mad then how can I appease Him?
Give me a reason to believe Him or receive Him
My season is forever freezin', it seems like winter's never leavin'
Ask my boys we all feel we got a raw deal
I feel like cashing in my chips, crashing in my 4-wheel
For real the pain is drivin' me insane Kid
Explain this-· How much longer can I can sustain this?
What could make more sense than suicide
When after being born, you only suffer, then ya die?"
[Repeat Chorus]
[Verse 2]
Your birth, ya hurts, then you're hearse there's a curse
In God's empire He had to strike back, we struck first
It should be worst check the evidence
The deeds of earth's residence are Bad from the kids to the Presidents
It's hard "B" finding somebody living godly
It's so rare like seeing black people playing hockey
And I see man's got sin like dogs get rabies
How else do you explain why we save trees and kill babies?
Sucked in by the suction of the material hell zone
It's not enough to have a beeper - gotta have a cell phone
Debt is well known but still mother's who know they can't afford ____
Still they rob Peter and Paul to buy their kids some Jordan's
Guys are called punks if they maintain virginity
Girls give it up and the next day gotta say, "Remember me?"
We sin with all our energy, dream of being on TV, and many make it, on
"COPS." I see the series weekly
You see the picture and you try to understand
Like watchin' the Japan version of Jackie Chan
I've just scratched the surface but earth is mad far from its purpose
And soon to out just like the surface
[Repeat Chorus]
[Verse 3]
So this cycle of things have brought more pains than bunions
Many tears like when you peel many raw onions
We're made to rule but Satan's fooled us
And got us on a bumpy ride like a yellow school bus
And now he rules cause we gave the rule up
Sin's his tool to amuse ya
knowing you'll lose to the sin in the future
We've got the knack for sinnin', yet we want back dominion
But we steer our lives wrong like jags with broke rack and pinion
Now turn the news on, nothing new's on
We're going about as far as a car with no gas and a boot on
But now meet the God who put a human suit on
Got in man's shoes without a shoe horn got His suit torn for men
Born to win just to go on a limb
To die for sin so men could be born again
They taunted Him saying "If your God flaunt it then. Get off the cross,"
But that's the cost so He stayed on it, friend
Letting a reservoir of divine blood pour
For the joy of providing a sick world a cure
And a chance to be with their Redeemer ever, see His face forever
See His grace forever
Now I say Yahweh I trust ya
Now I like it His way, not my way like Usher
Cause the way of man leads to eternal strife
But the way of Christ, the Loophole, leads to eternal life
[Chorus]
It was love-What made Him bleed and cling to a tree
It was love-Unlike this world has ever seen before
It was love-What made Him bleed and cling to a tree
And get nailed to the form of a lower case "t"
To all my listeners; you're on my "got to get with ya list"
Scripture gives the run down, come now you've got to picture this
The evolutionist would call this ridiculous
Story of a love, a true love that got promiscuous
The true lover was a King they called Elohim,
Digt it, He was exquisite, always existed
For designer clothes He sported shekinah robes
The kind that glows, baggy, you know the kind that flows
He was awesome majestic, flawless, perfect with
All this you might ask what could be next
His outcry zoomed throughout the counsel of the Triune
Crank the volume, when God speaks it's a fly tune
"Let Us make man in Our likeness and Our image"
He sparked it, even before He started He was finished
And since it's a fact that every kid needs a nursery
Before He made man He made a universe-a world to be
A playpen you know a place to chill, one to play in
Fields to lay in, earth to rule, one to stay in
He took dust in His hands made a man
Breathed life into his frame, said, "Adam is your name"
It was all fun and games, no pain and no strain,
He named all the animals, they were pre-tamed
Man and his God chillin' like jellow with
Nothing to undermine the divine fellowship
[Repeat Chorus]
Curtain please, scene two, we see the surgery
Adam de-ribbed, now Eve lives, we see with certainty
God wanted the earth to be full so earth can see
God and glory go together like thermometers and mercury
Intertwined, Elohim was man's date
But it's a thin line between love and hate
And just like a person will be weary 'til rested
I guess love will always be theory 'til tested,
So check it, God put this tree off limits
He can do that, the earth is the Lord's and all that's in it
He meant it, He told Adam the truth about the one tree
He said if you eat the fruit then you're saying you don't want me
In other words you're saying, "Bye", I wouldn't lie
'Cause the day you eat from this tree you're surely gonna die
Why in God's name couldn't Adam maintain
No blame, if it was us we would have probably done the same thing
Satan tricked Eve, Eve gave to Adam,
Sin had them, death grabbed them, and on went the pattern
The earth got cursed on the day they dissed Jehovah
He said, "I told ya, now our relationship is over!"
[Repeat Chorus]
It really gets to me, it really is a mystery
Why with foresight God even let us ruin history
But the love story gets deper
Holiness makes Him hide from sin but His love for men made Him a seeker
My heart is getting weaker, it's burnin' me bad
I earnestly ask why in eternity past
Did the Godhead agree that they would let man leave
Knowing the penalty-that they'd have to let man bleed?
But this is just a case of the lowliest
Questioning the infinite wisdom and the justice of the holiest
God's omnipotent and sovereign-"Yes I know He is"
And he's gracious and merciful-"The Bible told me this"
Took a human frame, Jesus was His human name
Doomed to hang on a cross casue we're His lost love
Resurrected just to get with you, if you get your cue
From Scriputre you can see he clearly pre-planned the switch-a-roo
He'd always planned to become a man, die as a substitute lamb,
Start a new fam of humans who can
Take the Son's hand in reply to
His proposal, "Will you marry Me?"-we say, "I do!"
[Ending Chorus]
Love-made Him bleed and cling to a tree
It was love-unlike this world has ever seen before
It was love-that made Him bleed and cling to a tree
[Chorus: Erica Arthur]
I love you Jesus, yes I do
I love you Jesus, yes it's true
I love you Jesus, yes I do
I love you Jesus, yes it's true
[Verse 1]
Satan is the choice of the majority
Jesus seems to be the choice of only the minority
But He's the ultimate authority we call it sovereignty
The most pre-eminent so He's got the most seniority-follow me
Without restraint who knows how hard the heart'll be
The world, flesh, and devil formed a three-man comradely
And my block could be proof and so can anthropology
Sin has long since become man's hottest commodity
Everything from robbery to Sodomy
To improperly getting cash to girls who flash like photography
Without properly understanding biblical prophecy
You can't possibly see where the stop will be
[Chorus repeat]
[Verse 2]
Meet the God who died for me enduring all the verbal mockery
Got to be cause He loves me like women love a shoppin' spree
His agape be the love that got to me, He adopted me
Now I'm in the family and I'm God's property
And periodically some youth will want to copy me
As I copy the Saviour so no more living sloppily
And as I start to get wobbly, God'll be
Mercy and Grace the ultimate team like cheese and broccoli
They make up for what we lack 'cause of our poverty
Fills in the gaps and the cracks up in our pottery
I believe I'ma die for sure not probably
"Or you can get raptured" - you're right, possibly
But I'ma share my philosophy, logically
I know I don't want hell Galapagos are too hot for me
If it's not for free and salvation's got a fee
I can't stand it I'm like Titanic out to sea
Sure to be abandoned like bad stocks will be
But no need cause Christ hit the jackpot for me
That's why I love Him
[Chorus repeat]
[Verse 3]
You know the world she's my ex-girl she keeps calling' me
Cause we used to go together kind of like your cars and keys
I was a fool, but we were cool as an autumn breeze
'Til I met the God who parted seas-pardon me
I had some bad rap and R&B;
Ought to be considered as dangerous as clogged arteries
The flesh and Spirit's been warring like dogs and fleas
The God in me told me He's attacking all disease
It's getting hard for me to ignore the spiritual part of me
That wants to hear Christ and not just lyrical artistry
I want to please the One who stretched out His arms for me
And though I failed Him He let the nail Him on a tree
By now you're probably on to me
I think the Son's hot, hotter than high noon summer street corners be
To the only God who gave a Son because He wanted me
To Him all the praise, all the glory, and the honor be
[Chorus]
Kneel-When it's on in the whirlwind
Tell me how it feels-when it's on in the whirlwind
Do you know the deal-when it's on in the whirlwind
You've got to keep it real-when it's on in the whirlwind
[Verse 1]
Let's all meet, God to earth, feel the raw heat
Bow the knee, give Me props hip hop to Wall Street
The King, but I don't dream I decree things
I'm Supreme and My shekinah beams
Out the whirlwind I'm vexed so I jet through the porthole
Of time and appointment where divine meets the mortal
You darkeneth my counsel without an ounce of knowledge
The Bible is the food for your soul not your collards
I'm triune in my Person and my tactics
One in my essence, mentally you can't hack this
I'm so divine I can blow your mind with a mystery
My incarnation was an invasion into history
I put a human suit on and played it low key
Thirty-three years of blood, sweat and tears now you owe Me
Capital Son of God saves, three days in the grave, then I was raised
From the earth I was "Swaze"
Sent My third Person to get with ya, fix ya
Get ya right, shed some light, illuminate My Scripture
I've got the word that bara's exnihilo-
Creates something out of nothing now let's see you go
Toe to toe, with the master Architect and Sculptor
Of the planet, of the people, even of its culture
I rule, earth is My footstool
Heaven can't contain My frame, I'm sovereign and I can put fools
On their back, the fact is you'll stand before Me
I'm coming' for My props, you'll stop, drop and glorify
I the sovereign God who be hurlin'
Storms that I form when it's on in the whirlwind
[Chorus repeat]
[Verse 2]
Secular is regular it's never the new flava in your ear
Cause you neglect steps to meet the Savior of the year
Your platinum hits be lackin' sense so I sensor
Your whole jam, I'm swole man, I am the inventor
Of all music, who's it all about in the this universe
I search earth to comfort all your human hurts
How much can a God flirt?
How can it be post flood humanity keeps handing Me dirt
Well I'm sick of this atheistic way you be kickin' this
Gift I gave, you're getting paid for your wickedness
Even gave you videos to flaunt Me, but you don't even want Me
You only do the things that disappoint Me
My grace you waste but when it runs dry
Your heart is My target and I always hit bulls-eye
You didn't learn form Lucifer so I'm shootin' ya
In the heart with a dart, told you they were supin' ya
So I'm bootin' ya like this, you thought I was a myth
Thought I was blowing smoke like a spliff
But I'm not mocked, take a look around your block
Check Me out, earth shouts, the creation gives Me props
You're dust, but My eternal thrust and force
Keeps seas behind the doors and the earth on course
Why do rains pour and the winds roar?-Now buss it
How do you make a universal flood?-Let's discuss it
Or what about the formula for gravity, let's have it see
Your human mind is raggedy compared to My majesty
So radically My double edged sword swings
Strong breasted iron chested raw King of all kings
Is not looking for a halo, but neither should you lay low
Just let My redeemed people say so
And I'll be the sovereign God Who be hurlin'
Storms that I form when it's on in the whirlwind
[Chorus repeat]
[Verse 3]
As I rip it, you hear the word flow so come and sip it
Then go toast, because the Logos is being lifted
You I gifted, but Satan sifted, now you're twisted
I came in a human frame and you missed it
What's my name? Still the same-all Hail
The I Am, watching' man with his train off rail
I stand, Jehovah Nissi come seek me the Banner
I'm no joke, plus I make a dope loaf of manna
Hosanna! Victory is mine, I'm preeminent
Supreme, Mr. Clean, but you be unregenerate
And a sinner at your core, more to die for
But I poured my blood so all come through my door
And there's only one it's the Son-God and human
And I'm gonna come at the trump glory boomin'
Pruning, I've got the sword, all aboard or on the floor
Yall confess me as LORD
You heard Me clearly, I never stutter, I'm butta
Demons shutter, because I'm God, there's no other
I've gotta win, cause I'm the God of men
Rejecting Me is suicidal I'm more vital than your oxygen
For lots of men it's My glory they're after
Kill that, come on get caught up in the rapture
I'm the Master and since I'm faster I run this
Planet and it takes a coequal oneness of Me's-Father, Son, and Holy Breeze
Who can get with these three's now check My degrees
I'm the L-O-R-D all caps and for
More on this get with the Ambassador
Though I'm hardcore, My love goes far more
Than my tongue, cause My Son hung on a "bar" for
Mankind, understand I'm not religious
But I'm in the business of providing forgiveness
Long live this trinity, I curse the enemy
Yet I bless the man that's in ministry
You want a magician then look for Merlin
But if you want God I'm getting it on in the whirlwind
[Chorus]
You know we live among tough guys who say they ruff ride
But, ahh, what a relief it is to be in Jesus
You know we live among tough guys who say they ruff ride
But I've seen them meet Elohim and no more tough side
[Verse 1]
There's an attack on Christ in hip hop
That's like a man in Timberlands getting' dissed by a man in flip-flops
Will it stop, yes but not until we get dropped
Then Jesus universally will get props
It's not wise in my eyes for small guys
To dis Jesus Christ and be some so called "gods"
Your all off sides, your blind to the fact that God the Son takes lives
And one day will make them all rise
Just to judge them, find out what you thought of Him
Did you love Him, or was He just a dime a dozen
My mic's plugged in to confront the average rap star
Or the rap listener chillin' in you phat car
The facts are no matter what your stats are
Most R&B; and rap are tracks that make God pull out the hacksaw
And disconnect them cause they won't respect Him
Once you get Him flexing then I'm jettin' cause then no one can protect them
[Repeat Chorus]
[Verse 2]
As I drop I've got you stopped like the red octagon
I never said I could rhyme, I only said, "God's the bomb!"
When the mic is mine Jesus will be in it every time
It's hard to keep fans when the Man's up in every line
But that's ok my pay day came when Yahweh visited Calvary
Crushed His son to pay my salary
Bet it, let it be know we're all indebted
One sin overcharged our credit
To the grave we were headed, the spiritual paralytics
Then Christ came to save like the paramedics
Check it---almost naked, with His arms spreader
Still said, "Come on with it, the Law, the prophets and the Psalms said it"
And now I get it, a chance to make a record what me set it
Off for Jesus who gets rejected
On the regular I bet you the secular mind makes
You think mankind is on the rise like the crime rate
The wickeder the jam, the more money that it makes
But the more that it takes to break the patty cake
Child like mental state, my pencil breaks
Trying to write lyrics to infiltrate you must be unregenerate
[Repeat Chorus]
[Verse 3]
I'm no holier than thou pal, I'm not bashin' you
I just want to be frank like a Hebrew National
Get it straight the human race's a death row inmate
One liberates, but He's the one that most men hate
When sin takes or should I say took the world captive
Death came after, then universal disaster
Just before they wrote the final chapter
Out of the blue the best made a move like a true chess master
And absolutely brought sin and death to its knees
By dying on a tree with no leaves---true indeed
Jesus is who He be, the only One that saves men
From the heavenlies but down to earth like the pavement
Cheer this champion, no more dissin' Him
On the count of three start kissin' him
1,2,3-ahhh feel the romance of the Father
Abba, The lover man with more rank than Shabba
Some think death ends the drama, but I'm a
Remind you death is not a period it's just a comma
I was made to worship and adore you—enjoy you
Put you on a pedestal and lay there before you
The more you do work in me the more I can't ignore you
I've been in awe
Every since my inner man first saw you
Got so many names
We can't run out of things to call you
They're all true
These are what we ought to use to draw you
'Cause any picture of the immortal is skimpy
Even classic pictures by Leonardo DaVinci
'Cause you're the wise God
Immortal and invisible
And Jesus Christ is your only accurate visual
Every one should honor you just for your common grace
Good comes from you God
It's like wine and grapes
You're omnipresent
You protrude beyond time and space
You're holy
You're set apart like mom's china plates
You're showy
You got shekinah
And you shine your grace
You're an oldie
You go back like rewinding tapes
[Hook]
We worship you [x3]
Oh Lord our God
If not for you we would have been lost
Sin's boss
Until the day we met you at the cross with the Timbs off
Told all my friends paying for sins was not a slim cost
God had to become a man and go out on a limb for us
We need the blood that your Son shedded
Nobody else's works
It's like using diesel when you need unleaded
Good deeds won't stand like a man that's one legged
We don't have enough
Like trying to graduate with one credit
Jesus—the Father was pleased to crush ya
Now we got a crush and want to be with you like girls wanna be with Usher
Some have to see to believe they need to touch ya
You bless those who believe without seeing we need to trust ya
You brought us through
But in the process you caught a few
Blows to the hands, feet, and the side
Your beard they tore that too
Fake gods fall short of you
That's why we find ourselves pantin' like the deer from Psalm 42
[Hook]
Hip-Hop—ain't used to this they bug off this maturity
We get our cue from the angels
They're covered up from your purity
You're beautiful, immutable Lord you don't change
It's undisputable you're true
Forever more you're the same
You reign
All hail to the King—people let the praise drop
Come and meet a God who chose a Bride from the slave block
There's evidence of your power and worth
I scour the earth and beyond I see powerful work
We look up to see what you hooked up and we see stars
With the right lens we can look up and we see Mars
We look around on the ground and we see cars
And the ones you crowned and gave breath like CPR
That's more than enough
Not to worship would be robbery
Hip-Hop knows how to worship
Look at how they worship property
There's got to be some elect in the crowd
Come to Christ
[Chorus]
I used to be a thug but now I'm a believer
I used to be a thug I know how it feels
I used to be a thug but now a believer
No more thug and no more deals
[Verse 1]
Ok doc my occupation was thuggin'
The whole nine, I mean the robbin' the dealin' the muggin'
The Clubin' the premarital lovin'
The type to put one in the oven but I wasn't tryin' to be the husband
Sin was Lord and I always obeyed the Master
It told me "sell drugs" just to get the paper faster
Let me go to church but would let me imitate the pastor
It only let me imitate my favorite rapper
So the deal was I grew up doin' the ill stuff
Would fight the cops 'til they threw on the steal cuffs
Go in do my bid like the mack
When it was done say, "cool out kids---I'll be back."
But lately there's been some friction
I've been feeling sort of sick from this heart condition
It's an unusual affliction, when I do wrong that's when it kicks in
(From your description, you know it sounds like conviction)
I knew something was going wrong when I bumped in
To a kid so soft I thought his name should be Pumpkin
Recognizing he was a weaker type of creature
I decided to take his beeper and his sneakers
You could tell for this kid a fight was a rare sport
Cause with ease I held him up like flights at an airport
He pleaded, "Don't take my beeper, I need it
And, "...not my sneaks, let me keep my brand new Adidas
That's when signs of the sickness manifested
My mind said, "Be nice and do what the man suggested."
I broke down like a fraction
Gave him back what I took away like subtraction
I'm puzzled and I'm struggling through this distraction
The reciprocal of my typical reaction---dag blast him!
I made tracks and then a flash back happened
That's when the rugged me kicked back in
[Repeat Chorus]
Now last week I was in my dad's black jeep
Rollin' mad deep with mad peeps smashed in the back seat
We took a back street, a Pontiac tried to pass me
I sped up and made him crash by the trash heap
The accident was nasty if you ask me
I would have laughed but then it happened again---the sickness harassed me
Oh no, not again. I had hurt a lot of men
But never felt bad before even when I shot a friend
For ease I thought I should step to the weed spot
Cause I was loosing my cool like melted freeze pops
My knees knocked as my conscience eaves dropped, found a weak spot
And said, "You sin too much, please stop!"
Peep the situation as it gets deeper
I started getting second thoughts about getting' the reefer
But what scared me was the internal reasoning
It was, "God sees you man, and your not pleasing Him"
This was hard to swallow like food with out seasonin'
Me believe in Him, I rather not breath again
Before receivin' Him
You would see a turtle beat a rabbit and a cheetah in a 100m's sprint
That's all that was the last straw I was ready to blast off
To a place I didn't have enough cash for
But with the swiftness, the sickness turned up the pitch
And with the quickness I felt it clutch me like a stick shift
[Repeat Chorus]
Yea you have no idea just how absurd it is
But check the word of this witness, now get this---I heard of this
Crew that could rip rhymes murderously, but I heard it would be
Christian, I thought absurd as can be
And churches to me can make the hard rocks feel nervous
But I went because I heard this would be an outdoor service
I got there and saw mad youth noddin' to mad truth
Rockin' mad hats and suits and not plaid suits
As truth crashed through my heart ached like a bad tooth
This hard rock got softer than brown spots on bad fruit
I came with a heart stone like a statue then the rap group
Got under my skin like a tattoo
They rapped about a man diein' and I was cryin'
They said He died so I could be saved like Private Ryan
We all could see zoomorphically He's a lion
Coming to rule from Zion with a scepter of iron
Trying to hold back tears that wanted to flow jack
Couldn't control that, it felt like my soul cracked
In half and Jesus started lookin' much bigger
than drugs or liquor or thugs pullin' a trigger
And it was a first that I ever felt so cursed next to One so perfect
My soul thirsted to worship
Scufflin', tustlin', my feathers, He ruffled them
I tried to duck Him and tried to get back to my hustlin'
I must have been affected more than I could have imagined
Cause that's been all I can think about since it happened
[Verse 1]
Looks like it finally came around like the hands of a clock
Praise to Yahweh Nissi
Shout to the Banner—Shabach
This LP is two sided—for the man on the block
And for the flock who thinks keeping God's commandment is hot
On one side we wanna represent Christ to the Culture
Hip-Hop mostly knows Him for making tight little posters
Or a sculpture, but they can't view Him like they're supposed to
'Cause the gospel's never been preached to them like its' supposed to
And the life in Christ has never even looked like an answer
Except for locked up crooks and Big Mas with cancer
So, Ambassador is back to give you his thesis
The greatest need in Hip-Hop is the input of Jesus
[Hook]
It's the thesis we need this
The story in short
Hip-Hop properly submitted to the glorious Lord
It's problematic 'cause
It can be scary to like
But... Jesus makes everything right [x2]
[Verse 2]
My topic—the redemption of Hip-Hop you got it
But I told you that this thesis is at least two sided
Can't just introduce Christ to the culture like an evangelist
The church needs to be schooled on hip-hop culture so plan for this
I'm a Christian admitin' were wastin' our wisdom
if we don't engage the streets, peep the nation of Islam
They promote a better culture and faith integration
But no resurrection or message of grace that can save men
So God's diggin' in the meeting place
Looking for those needing grace
To launch out from the over crowded breeding space
What will He find?
Just what He designed—Hip-Hop's got missionaries
He brought up for these times
Sometimes I pause rappin' and wonder what all happened
Read Genesis 1—stunner, you'll start clappin'
Read Genesis 3—you'll see a fall that's been
Keeping us all flattened
Like what we would call backspins
Back then—the fall was immediate
Sin enter in but as a foreign ingredient
It's getting worse
Man's livin' in a curse
First—different hurts
Then worse, he's endin' in a hearse
It wouldn't be so bad if
I ain't read those passages
And see so graphically that we were majesty
We were designed for rulin'
Could've caught us snackin' with a pack of lions just coolin'
I try to picture how it might be
Seeing life rightly, nightly getting' it in w/ wifee
No strife B
Just different paths that we'd site see
Chillin' like raspberry ice tea
[Hook]
I'm the living God and I made you
Though you've fallen hard I can raise you
Though your name's in lights
I see your pain and strife
And I'm the only God that can save you
I'm the living God and I made you
Even though you broke my heart I can change you
I can give you life
'Cause I paid the price
And I'm the only God that can save you
It was boomin'—love between humans
They both loved God and they'd rush to communion
Seemed too legit to quit just like Hammer
Next scene—wooop—they tripped and slipped like bananas
Now fast forward
The cast—you're it
Can't ignore it
You're in it—you didn't have to ask for it
We're like the crack baby who got jacked way before birth
It sure hurts and that's crazy
Yet it's evident—we're in Adam—we get a portion
Sin's inherited and we've inherited a fortune
Now the block ain't safe; dudes chop their weight
To make moves they've got to glock their waist
No love, they're so thug they would pop their race
The whole club scene is bugged and it's not so chaste
No love, they're so thug they would pop their race
The whole club scene is bugged and it's not so chaste
[Hook]
You might think this is pointless
The point is I point kids to God and His anointed
I too used to need a blunt to crack a smile
Others' needs exceeded the weed they needed to crack a vile
Though we party a lot the party'll stop
That's when we'll see what the party is not
It's not an answer for life's cancer
It's not a chance to fix the broke
It only can coat like Mylanta
The truth—we're just people we're feeble and frail
You can see we're not free like people in jail
Tried money, sex, weed
Yes—you seek and you fail
Can't sleep, your situation is bleak and it pale
Don't forget in the text Genesis 4 to 6
Proves the Lord is the Creator and He's more than vex
And yet, He's got grace and agape
I pray for your lives sake
[Chorus]
MC's: God gave us a gift
Made our lips so you can say that He made us to spit
B-boys, B-girls: Yeah we flip and spin
But for the One who made a trip to put a flip on sin
Graf artist: We use our markers and spray
To display the glory of the God that can save
Go DJ's: Every touch of the plates is like a touch of His grace
[Verse One]
I've got a riddle- what went from little to larger than you thought
Adults and youth both support it- it started in New York
Mostly Black and Hispanic, but now in Iraq and Iran it's
In Japan in fact it inhabits the planet
Man this thing has expanded- went from wild entertainment
To a global culture that molds ya, with a style and a language
Now this thing is no stranger it's mainstream, it's the disc jock
The rapper, graffiti artist, the breaker- it's Hip-Hop!
Yes- the leading cause of why popular music flip flopped
Odd but it's true it's now toppin' the charts along with rock
It's properly known as a street phenomenon
Local to global those who peep the economics find
If you're looking for a treasure hip hop is the right soil
It was underground but now it's found like when you strike oil
But can't boast in it, like it's the ultimate
Ultimately nothin' is the ultimate till God gets hold of it
[Verse Two]
Note the power of the culture- it seems to get obeyed
It's ghetto-made and it's able to push its ghetto ways
It used to be on the low just like get-a-way
Now instead it's on the cutting edge like a set of blades
Every place has been set ablaze; every race has embraced
I no longer get amazed when their getting braids
Better get a hold of this golden goose
It'll get hold of you
And expose you to some things that will oppose the truth
It'll have you thinking you fly, cause of the things that you buy
But when you die, you'll obtain them new eyes
And see for all the hoopla you got you traded the truth
Like Esau who had a birthright he traded for soup
I'm no hater it's true, I know from you God can get a thanks
So you think that you're connected like Harvard and brains
But God's on to the game, he wants more than a song with His name
A long studded chain- a picture of His Son in a frame
[Verse Three]
You know I'm theocratic- that's an advocate of His rule
Emphatic— 'cause I'm a addict by habit I'm in His school
To learn so I can discern what to burn and what's approved
To be fit and equipped in case God picks up this tool
'Cause my whole thesis is: Hip-Hop with no Jesus is
Like a Roscoe's with no chicken or waffles neither
But now a Hip-Hop that knows Jesus
Has a shot to save a lot from the place that's blazin' hot with no breezes
When hip-hop bows since Hip-Hop vows
To use every hip-hop style for the hip-hop crowd
We can see world missions 'cause to Hip-Hop the world listens
Listen, I'm not insistin' we're makin' the world Christians
I'm just settin' the aim
Wantin' to see everything with breath reppin' and spreading His fame
Catch us blessin' His name cause for our debt He was hanged
His blood's a token of love; let's start catchin' His train
[Chorus]
MC's: God gave us a gift
Made our lips so you can say that He made us to spit
B-boys, B-girls: Yeah we flip and spin
But for the One who made a trip to put a flip on sin
Graf artist: We use our markers and spray
To display the glory of the God that can save
(Hook)
People I want you to
stop toting guns don't shoot. Stop smoking blunts oooooohhh. I've got a song for you.
Syke!! Didn't think it was a slow jam, did ya? Didn't think it was an old man, did ya? I hit ya with Scripture, listen to every word I say. The rapper Ambassador's back like a vertebrae. Focused vertically, hoping for the day. When Biblical sense is more common than courtesy.
I envision this hittin' you in the barbershop. Lyrics rushing like wind like when the Spirit of God was
dropped. I can see them sisters in the salon.
Puttin' The Thesis on with some grease in her palm.
Dope tunes boom and they stick in your brain. So when I make a dope tune boom I slip you the name.
Jesus Christ, He wants to get in your frame. He owns it but you're like
homeless, you need Him to slip you some change. And when he does, guess what, life can't stay the same.
And when it does, guess what, Christ can't be to blame.
[Repeat Hook)
People I want you to
stop trading God for loot.
Don't leave this life a fool, I've got a song for you.
Lord, I don't sing but nothing brings more pleasure.
Than to offer you to awful dudes who worship that thing called cheddar. They've never read of your prophets, gospels, or letters. So, they don't know you're hotter than rockin' four sweaters. But that's the job of the Ambassador. Hit mics 'cause it's life after the casket door. You know the hood ain't used to them theological truths. Philosophers snooze; they think belief in God is for fools. And I'll admit the existence of God is harder to prove. But please believe that Jesus is God and you're cool. We can work on unpackin' the intricate plan. God understands, like women say about a sensitive man. Much sin's in a man, through Adam it got into the fam.
Makin' us all prisoners, like when you get sent to the can. And that's trouble like when Blacks bump into the Klan. But then a infinite hand went and sent us a Lamb.
[Bridge]
1, 2 and we you don't stop.
And we won't quit. If not for you, Lord, we won't spit. We do this for all the hip-hop heads, spit Christ cause He's life for all the hip-hop dead.
(Repeat Hook)
Yeah, you see we want to talk to the culture. I mean, why all the killin' and the fightin', and the fussin' and the drugs, when I've got a song for you.
[Verse Three]
Syke! Aaahhh, the rawness is back. Tell your boys the Lord uses the rawest of raps. The hardcorest of tracks cause hardcoreness attracts. Some hymns are not a good hook like a chorus that's wack. But He's sovereign he can take from the boringest camp, save a thug with the accordion and a Gregorian chant. That's why even though hip-hop is full of ungodliness, God can twist hip-hop around, really it's obvious. Got to be gospel, can't say, "Really it's positive." The rugged cross is the object that we've got to lob to kids, whether they catch it or not. The method is not the main thing long as the right message is dropped. Why not? You're actin' like this surprises y'all. The gospel's flex fit, yes it's one size fits all. From the murderer to the old lady who prays, to the man that's fit as a fiddle or the baby with AIDS.
[Bridge]
1, 2 and we don't stop, and we won't quit. If not for you, Lord, we won't spit. We do this for all the hip-hop heads. Spit Christ cause He's life for all the hip-hop dead.
(Hook)
People, I want you to
hunger and want the truth.
If there's no want in you,
I've got a song for you.
People I want you to
hunger and want the truth.
All rise Jesus the Christ still rules
King of kings, Mr. Runnin' things still cool
Calm, collective, objective truth slinger, the sword bringer
In fact I'm wrapped like a ring on His finger
While cops bust glocks and call cars from afar
God called the A-M-B-A, double-S, A-D-O-R
To grab mics and drop a bomb on ya
Well, Selah's the way I can drop some calm on ya buss it
Pause think about the infinite, omnipotent, magnificent
Mad significant God with an Immutable, immovable, unchangeable
Nature non-rearrangable, unattainable
Yet slain-able when He tabernacled
Among the sinful, unrepentful humans that were shackled
I'm baffled—what made the infinite become like finite
What made Him leave His throne home for a zone of twilight
And why might the rich switch becoming poor in history
Leaving the angelic holy x 3 antiphony
Becoming a kamikaze, check the way my God shocked the
Planet earth with the birth of His agape
Don't stop me now, I'm gettin' down, check His beatings
Didn't get mad but the Savior kept grieving
He created earth for His own reason
Yet we make theocracy a mockery when we leave Him
Double Selah all the bleedin'
Torn, whipped, thorn tips, flesh rips for the heathen
A purple rope, they slapped on Him
Psalm 22, the Father turn a holy back on Him
[Chorus]
Selah, pause, think about that
Selah, pause calmly think about that
Selah, pause calmly think about that
Selah, pause calmly think about that
Long live the Heart and Mind Dissector, the Ressurector
Ruling with an iron scepter forever
And forever stops never so it's clever
To be down with the One who wears the crown
Perfecter of the faith, wait, is He great? Let me demonstrate, I'm able
To use my hands to hold the food He put on my table
On my way with a check to deposit
Outta here with the fly gear from the closet
And I get my needs met I know Jehovah Jireh
I'm fed daily bread like the ravens fed Elijah
Now mind ya, no need to rob I got a job to earn from
Street wise, girls, guys, men and woman to learn from
God's high power like a third rail, never fail
But prevails kickin' up the manna and the quail
Drug free, Spirit filled, broken willed and all that
I call that God's grace, uh, ain't it all that
All for the sins of men from begin to end
The cup of wrath was filled up to the rim with grim
Love from above all true whatcha gonna do
When you stand before the God-man who died for you
[Chorus]
Selah, I love the way the Savior runs the ranch
He's the True Vine and I'm the William Branch
Still in the mood for soul food still chewin'
God's hand is on the Cross Movement we're doin'
The work of evangelical / fundamentalist
People, we get into this Jesus Christ the magnificent
And the incident at Golgotha—at Calvary
Christ paid the wages and sin got its salary
Yeshua blessed you the called, chosen, predestined
The foreknown, all up in the war zone with weapons
Of prayer, faith, biblical shots, praise, love and hope
Because it's dope swinging with Messiah like a rope
No joke the holy smoke's blazing
Check it y'all I'm breathing so tis the season to be praising
The Godhead—infinite flavor
Let everything that hath breath become a praiser of the Savior
He that hath an ear let him hear what I speak
But talk is cheap so peep what I repaint over beats
And you'll meet the Doer that does
The I Am that is, that said, "Let there be..." and there was
[Chorus]
Selah, pause, think about that
Think about the man with a cross on His back
Check my rap at the cross that's where it's at
Selah, pause, calmy think about that
Think about the infinite, omnipotent, magnificent
Mad significant God with an Immutable, immovable, unchangeable
[Chorus]
The Lord is my shepherd and I shall not want
He gave me life so I'ma stay on point
I've got the Spirit so I don't get drunk
We're pumpin' Jesus in your trunk
[Verse 1]
There goes the bell well it's on word is bond now I'm rippin' it
Fillin' cups up with living water, got you sippin' it
I be the one that serves you dinner from the Scriptures
You may or may not be a sucker, but I'm gonna get ya
Hit ya with the word of God that's how we rock the nation
You hear it and catch the Spirit of intoxication
Drunk in the Spirit's how my whole crew puts it
Look at us walk the straight and narrow and avoid the crooked
Ruff and tough, with out the afro puff
It's the supernatural "stuff", all about His blood like we're Dracula
With spectacular spiritual vernacular
Like the concept of the hypostatic union comin' smack-atcha
I know it's deep and when you peep you'll find it's dense
Jesus both God and man 200%
Toss it, nah, we take the good news and floss it
So the world thinks we drink or mentally we've lost it
It's not that in fact it's just the opposite we're droppin' it
Fully cognoscente He rules ain't no stoppin' it
So like a vulture we swarm on your head
The holy culture who be droppin' bombs on your head
We're glad when pagans label us as madmen
Cause we're the "will be's" for the Christ, not "has beens"
Life's no joke so even if you fight hard
You'll drown in your sin if you don't meet Christ the life guard
You kick a different stroke like Willis and Arnold
In warfare you'll be steppin' but your weapons won't be carnal
But of course it's divine to pull down a fortress
Repaint the picture of Christ and make Him gorgeous
The Lord just rocks me-huh-what can I say
Sin, that's a price a rapper can't pay
[Chorus repeat]
[Verse 2]
Man is used to seeing Jesus in His lamb ness
But they don't understand this Lamb is running every single planet
More than just a Lamb this is more than just a man dyin'
From Zion, behold the resurrected King, the Lion
Check the majesty, bad as He is we happily
Go down to the ground without being forced to by gravity
We're glad to be prostrate, bowed down is my state
Without "pape's" I'm still richer than milk chocolate
You can ask the Jews about the power of Yahweh
And if He gets busy like a rush hour highway
So much so they'll have a feast in a moment
From the unleavened bread to the feast of atonement
Amazing, check out the flag that we're raisin'
Man enough to be caught standin' up praisin'
Jesus the I Am, cause my man's creation
Should all be giving up a standing ovation
[Hook]
It feels good—'cause I know that I'm gonna cry
But I know where I go when I die
It feels good—I don't have to know how to fly
Just walk on the road with my God
It feels good—when you don't have to run from the cops
And duck when they come to the block
It feels good—not to be duped by a lie
But know how to use the truth to survive
[Verse 1]
Used to be a time when I was bound in chains
Flesh rumblin'—kind of like the sound of trains
Faith dead—kind of like what's found in James
Heaven's hound turned me around and now I'm changed
And it sounds strange until you see the way they start to
Live clean and free—they're like AJ's partner
Even in regular stuff whether it's cheddar or not
He gets glory from the sacred and secular—yep!
The lesson is what
This—there's a life to get
More than clubs, more than ice and Cris
That life's a trick
Treated with a hyped to get
You to forget without Christ true life was missed
[Hook]
[Verse 2]
It feels good to be saved from the mindset
That I ain't have a story just because I wasn't raised in the projects
Still makin' the progress; embracin' the process
If you're an ex-thug please take it in context
'Cause I ain't comin' at your neck but I recall when I thought
That I couldn't reach a thug laden with crime
Plus I've been delivered from feeling so out of place
'Cause I ain't fit like figure eights in a prom dress
The state of my mind's just been transformed by the truth
And God's Spirit when I faced the divine text
And now I'm free from the idea that to reach a thug I had to be a thug
The grace is of God—yes!
[Hook]
[Verse 3]
It feels good—to be able to control tongue
And if you get chumped not to have to load a gun
It feels good—to have green to get gasoline
Though the car has no dubs and no plasma screens
It feels good—just go to New York with wifee, Duce and Meesh
To see Beauty and the Beast
It feels good—yea, to hit the studio and breeze
Back to the ranch and fulfill our duty as the priest
It feels good—in New York to go to Junior's for a cheesecake
Then come back to Philly 'cause you really wanna cheese-steak
It feels good—to take a Bible in a Starbucks
And read all about the God who hung the moon and the stars up
It feels good—just to sit and eat Dungeness crabs
nd have talk about our wondrous Dad
It feels good—just to know that your temple is clean
[Cruz]
Wit the same steeze and finess
I'm back to speak and bless
preach Jesus - for these three reasons
He's the Way, the Truth, the Life, so please believe Him
and take heed of this Being who keeps my heart beating with breath
deep in my chest - bringing to all of y'all Christian raw rhymes to digest
I'm justa teacher to test, but a student at best
placing my fruitful life on top of my Teacher's desk
Jesus! He's the Genius
I have to confess
He taught me how to eat good
like we should
instead of feeding my flesh
I reflect back on that evening Christ was bleeding to death
as I'm reading the text
that keeps me in check
I'm critiquing the meaning of God's agape Love peeping its depths
following each of His steps
while leading the next legion of reps
equipped to reach and effect
every region with the gospel from the east to the west
cus life with out Christ
is like having a jeep or a lex
with out the keys to inject
[Efrem]
From Bronx to Brixton
Philly to London Piccadilly
This is for 'ood rats and 'ill Billies
and Politicians up on Capitol 'ill
for real we come to share the Word of God no matter how you feel
because nuff 'tings are a shame
in this nation that claims to profess the Lord's name
like how in Universities and in the High Schools
they have ban the Bible and say it's for fools
and yet still chose
to be preachin' all dat speculation
like natural selection
instead of Jesus Resurrection
it takes more faith to believe evolution
coz it's a theroy who's evidence has been disproven
man's philosophies ain't notin but profanity
without no absolutes we only breed immorality
and depravity
anarchy within humanity
GODlessness is the root of all insanity
but GREAT is the mystery of Godliness
God was manifest in the flesh before nuff witnesses
beneath the Cross darwin's wisdom ain't but foolishness
because it can't give us purpose, hope or righteousness
Oh Yes our faith has sure evidence
Jesus rose on the 3rd day like sweet smelling incense
to the deceived He's stench
to those who believe and receive and repent
He is a life-givin fragrence!
[The Ambassador]
We make noise for Jesus like racquet
It's not an act, in fact, it's a habit practiced by Christ fanatics
And while you laugh it's amazing how we have this
Thing you lack it's relationship with the Triune Package
With no slackage, we rap to put Christ on the map kid
Times are drastic, but some are laughin' like it's slapstick
Grasp it, ask if you can hack wrath and its facets
The math is man plus sin equals casket
Added to that is the Revelation where the passage
Says after you die, you're judged then you burn like acid
We're all born in the basket
I know you've fasted
went to church took new members class and passed it
But when the bad news is bitter as winters with Jack Frost
The Good News can shine like diamonds on black cloth
Now back off and shift to Calvary where grace flows
Out of the body of a Savior with manmade holes
Think of the aches yo, think of the face blows, think of the grave clothes
But remember the phrase goes "then He got up" case closed
Let's break down to praise mode yo
[Ambassador talking]
In a day in time
When hip-hop seems to be runnin' things on earth
It's time to direct it's attention toward heaven
Let's do this!
It's time to meet ya maker
[Verse One]
The story's over 6,000 years so it's pretty old
Been rhymin' about it, gotta shout it my city's cold
Like the artic, this artist has thought of martyrs
To keep me going regardless
In light of the Lord of harvest
Any life given to Christ does get affected
You gotta realized this guy was resurrected
That's why my motto is Hip-Hop's got to acknowledge him
The God of men liver than David, hotter than Solomon
Better than Pac and them- Biggie, and Pun put together
His Throne set up forever- Son has got the credibility
Ill as He is, still got humility
One God- but persons are three like a trilogy
I'm tryin' to monitor is this beyond your mind or what
This kind of stuff enlightens you like when it's noon and blinds are up
I'm just tryin' to get your confidence up
When you hear his name this kind of response is enough
"AND CROWN HIM LORD OF...!"
[Verse Two]
All things— everything, past, present and future
Broad things— I'm talkin' the vast and the minutia
He's better than you in whatever you think that you're better in
Stronger, plus he's been doin' it longer like a veteran
These are the things I'm feedin'
Even the heathen can see Him in action—
That's when they either leave or believe Him
Your career- He's controlin' it
Check the men who fished all night and caught nothin'-
Like a catcher's mit that's got a hole in it
Then he rolled up told 'em take the nets and unfold 'em
Cast the net, they gotta catch so big the boat couldn't hold them
Can't box Him in, You're looking for the top- it's Him
Beat Him, you'll never see it like me up in some moccasins
Many stories are just like this so I write this
Hip-Hop or not, you've gotta know who Jesus Christ is
"AND CROWN HIM LORD OF...!"
[Verse Three]
Your neighborhood or your block
Your mansion or ranch, your condominium
House on the lake or your yat
He's...
Lord over your writes, over your mic, over your booth the
Lord over you life, over your wife, over your mula
Lord of your acquisitions, Lord of your things
Lord of your chains, Lord of your watches, Lord of your rings
Deservin' worship- His word is a perfect law and it brings
Grace to the world universal- He's Lord of the kings
Hip-Hop- I'm tryin' to get you in your Bibles
So in your heart you'll prepare a place like He's doing for His disciples
Don't be alone, better have an aid
Satan'll have his way, plus your heart'll block truth like a barricade
This is to set it straight like when you calibrate
Out of babes He's established praise- why don't you have a taste
Intro
This is a Kingdom banga!
Brap! It’s the Chop Chop
It’s time to bring that weight to the front
It’s time to Chop it up, let’s get it
Fo sho’ we goin’ just call this the Chop Chop
Big up Epiphany
It’s the Chop Chop, (lets get it) It’s the Chop Chop
Let’s go
Verse 1
Hey! What does it take to make you (Chop Chop)
Maybe in the face of this weight will make you (Chop Chop)
I ain’t talkin’ bout that weight that makes the cops stop
I’m talkin’ facts that push the wig back like drop tops
The world sleeps, they don’t peep, Jesus is top notch
Me and my crew, we do, we give Him the top spot
He knock knocks, He’s deep,
But invites us to jump in with both feet, like playin’ hop-scotch
The great faith we have, will address your mess to make you better like
a great rehab
And it’s His story, it goes back long before the scene when the Lord
put a bunch of green all up in his forest
See why we Chop Chop, that means we chop it up
The truth we break it down, next thing we prop it up
Sometimes it’s hard to eat that godly stuff, like the Eunuch in Acts, but
like the Eunuch we ask to Chop it up
Chorus
Get ready, get ready your mind for the Chop Chop
It’s comin’ steady so it’s time for the Chop Chop
It aint petty, I hope you’re ready to Chop Chop
I know its heavy but daddy that’s why we Chop Chop
Get His Word, Get His Word for the Chop Chop
‘Cause it is perfect, perfect the Chop Chop
And we can search in His Word with the Chop Chop
It’s the Chop Chop
It’s the Chop Chop
Verse 2
Lets get it cipher I’m hype cause the Bible’s comin’ out
I know you’re crunk, but do you know the God you're crunk about
(YOU)
You could Soulja Boy, you want me to Soulja Boy,
But when the music stops, and the dudes just drop, you get so
annoyed
The whole front rows, eyes is glazed
As I try to convey the ???? or Imago dei
It won’t get easier, when I breaking ecclesia down, but you needed a
sound
I welcome y’all ???? for ya ground
Listen, my mission is fishin’, after fishin’ I’m switchin’ my hat does half
of da mission
The other half’s in da kitchen
Preparing cats for da vision
The scripture that’s what we’re givin’
This nutrition is rich, if it’s missin’ that’s bad for the Christian
You come out lookin’ sorta extra thin
Like spiritually your spirit feeds on only Dexatrim
Some people can helps us see when we’re next to dem
Our godliness can come out, when the text is in
‘Cause it is perfect is perfect the Chop Chop
And we can search in His Word with the Chop Chop
It’s the Chop Chop
It’s the Chop Chop
Verse 3
I preach the fully God and fully man
I’m up in Philly, but it really doesn’t matter where I go, I’m like a bully
Some say simmer down (Chill)
Like the winta ground, spill dat real dat raw let sin abound
Be practical, don’t have the Lords hand in it
You'd see plaques if you just had it more man centered (man centered)
Anybody can tell you hardly goin’ sell, unless you wise up and put your
God in a shell (see)
I hate this, I take this, I shake this off
We can take a little weight, if He can take His cross
We can turn, let the midnight oil just burn
We can hit them scriptures, we can toil and turn
Outro
Ain’t no excuses no more
You can’t run
If it’s too weighty
Get the Chop Chop, get the Chop Chop
????, gotta break it down, bite size pieces
[Chorus]
Don't forget that the body talks
You've got to watch what you say with your body parts
We're in a day where they display the body art
But don't forget about the blaze that the body sparks (the body talks)
Don't forget that the body talks
You've got to watch what you say with your body parts
We're in a day where we display the body art
But don't forget about the blaze that the body sparks (the body talks)
[Verse One]
Now I'm about to build a case like a lawyer
I need grace cause I'm a face heat like a broiler
But I assure ya, I'm for ya
Represent the only God who would die and he's not Sawyer
I'll slow it down I'm a walk for ya
You've been goin' round lettin' the round parts of the body talk for ya
It's a sad state of affair
I'm aware with the rear
Some of y'all have gone and made a career
Nobody is seeking a hottie that's highly indecent
Except when they wanna use the hottie for obvious reasons
Please know you're body be speakin'
I'm not talking about the kind of body talk you get from out of Ephesians
I'm talking about the kind you hear on the ave
Where starers be at
They sit back and "mack" just to stare at your back
I wanna help but it's in the blood stream of the culture
And some of you queens are so mean I can't even approach ya
[Chorus]
[Verse Two]
Most women have care in their genes
Where's the care you killin' us today the way you're wearing those jeans
A few of us really care for the king
We've got to fight when you're in sight
For other men staring's no thing
"Well don't look then"
Well sis, I wasn't lookin'
But if I've gotta nose can I help smellin' the cookin'
I know you can blame it on the weakness of men
But the weakness is made weaker when we see your skin
Don't mean to offend but somebody needs to contend for sensitivity
Ok yeah the reason is sin
I'm not fakin' believe me
You're not makin' it easy
And I'm able to see the
Plot of Satan for sheezy
He's got us thinkin' it's easy
To watch the things on the TV
Then control the soul which gets inflamed when it sees these
Women who seem to think their body is free
Save it for your husband or maybe you're husband to be
[Chorus]
[Verse Three]
You're probably thinking I'm not any fun
Consider girl we're in a world where if you're 12 you look 21
Men teach your sons when he's young
Or when slimmy comes he'll feed the sweet tooth he has for her "sinny-bun"
You know the logic- girls flaunt it cause they've got it
We want a project, yeah we wonder, "Could we knock it?"
Sorry brothers I'm unpackin' the plan
Sorry mothers we love ya but we learn to mack from a man
Relationships we see are quick- a flash in the pan
Marriages that stick are few- like Blacks in Japan
Big bottoms have got a lot of men trapped in a trance
Their flesh causing lots of interest like cash in advance
If that was your plan it worked because you're all that
But all that says to us is that you might be faster than a corvette
Listen ladies I implore you to be pure
If not read Isaiah 3:16-3:24
But don't
[Chorus]
You, in the Maybach
Laid back with the wave cap
Make your way back home
You, in the Von Dutch
Louis Vuittoned up
Girl, your times up- come back home
You, with the corn rows and the long fros
Lookin' all swole, come back home
You, pretty princess
In the pink dress with the pink vest come back home
[Verse One]
I represent a people that fell through the cracks
Their creative- you can tell it from the wealth of their raps
They gotta story
Which some are known to tell on their backs
Or through graffiti
Others use music and tell it through wax
Take it back
I would cause those are relevant facts
But that was back when we were midgets on a elephant's back
But today we're the elephants that
Other people wanna stand on
We're no longer still in the back
But problems have emerged like the sellin' of crack
Kids'll put a shell in a gat
Then put a shell in your back
And there's a gap between Hip-Hop and the church
Leavin' them stranded like a rescue team stop to a search
But now it's on
That era's gone a new era's born
They never met Christ
They only met Farrakhan
Well it's changing cause now we're pickin' up the pieces
Expect to see the ecclesia givin' ya to Jesus
[Chorus]
[Verse Two]
We're all apart of the original fall away
In Adam we all fall and y'all it was all the way
Yeah we're lost
But the message of the cross has been bearin' fruit
But only seems to be for lost souls wearin' suits
Back in the day when my Pop's was growing up
Saved or not on Sunday your hind parts was showin' up
Forget it you headed directly to the steeple
Church was on and poppin' especially for the Negro
But today, Hip-Hop's got new affinities
Money, power, and sex, and a lot of new trinities
Church or the club?
They'll chose club life quickly
Look, you can find them in the club like 50
As for ushers I've seen theirs
He dances without a shirt and the guy screams, "Yeah"
Plus they get to see Lil' Jon
It's ludacris if you think you're gonna see them read a little John
[Verse Three]
Peep God's people- called out of evil
We do more than hang under a steeple
Meet the lethal adversary call it the flesh
A new status but a body with old habits- all of it meshed
All with no rest we fight
Can't just do what we please
We're like kids and sin's like the new Chuck E. Cheese
So, we strive to give him all not just 10 %
Cause we're called to live life different not influenced
Instead we influence things
Been convinced sin ruins things
No longer them sensual beings
So it's gonna be tight
And it's on every night
But if loving sin is wrong, we wanna be right
So each morning we fight and tell the body relax
Don't feed the flesh and you watch how the body reacts
We've gotta read Acts cause it's an all out war
Kind of thing that you've got to be called out for
[Chorus]
I live and die for what I believe in
Represent the truth of God's Word every season
Since I'm the reason for His bleedin'
Now I represent Him 'til the day I stop breathin'
[The Ambassador]
There's a war, and I can tell you straight from the door that it's raw
Not for the weak it's for the hardcore
Rugged soldier, this rugged brother told ya, "I love Jehovah"
I love like women love Montel and Oprah
We're getting' close to the rapture Maranatha
Coming soon is the Master try and capture
The idea, the incarnate God coming right here
Christ, yea, rulin' planet earth in His white gear
I hear you say He's not, trying to take away this hope we've got
But we're not shook so we drop jams, we're out to show He's got
The ability to save like coupons at the grocery spot
Defend the faith are you with it, my crews with it
Christ died, love had everything to do with it
Before Christ we loved secular life but now we're through with it
We don't fool with it, if Jesus Christ aunt down we isn't cool with it
Who is it that wants to hustle, tussle, flex muscle
Defend the Christian faith and the text plus you'll
Do some Jesus advertising, join the theocratic side and
We'll see the Son risin'
[Chorus]
[The Ambassador]
Will the real Jesus please stand up, wait there's eight of them
Nine of them, a whole line of them, there's all kinds of them
Is it the one with dreds or the blond head
The one with blue eyes or the one hangin' between those two guys
Or the one that they say is just a prophet
He nothing special, He's just the one before Mohammed
Or the archangel or the man healing on T.V
Or the other cat that's leading masses up to D.C
Or is He the eternal God of all creation, Lord of all the nations
The Sovereign, even the boss of Satan
The one making the world spin, keeping high winds twirling'
While He's getting' it on in the world wind
He made the sheep that made the fur for your shirlin'
Even made the oyster that made your pearls and
Matter of fact He made your boy, or, your girlfriend
Strong enough to put Jupiter on a bar and start curlin'
This one seems to be fittin' the true description
Of the one that gets in, fits in hearts and then convicts them
You should pick Him, because He conquered crucifixion
He took a lickin' but I tell you He kept on tickin'
[Chorus]
[The Ambassador]
I continue to preach Christ earth is my venue
Like McDonald's fries, He's the best thing on the menu
When you defend Christ it could be hazardous
But if you die you're going to live again like Lazarus
Plus add to this the reward of bringing fabulous
Truths that transform cause the Lord be changing characters
Let's get equipped to represent Him in an industry
Where they preach a different Christ and reject the trinity
And when they see us loving while they're all hatin'
And when they hear us call God while they call Satan
They'll say the people of God be getting busy like a phone with no call waitin'
The falls breakin'
Men's backs as the ax cuts the access to the King's palace
And that's just utter blackness, in fact, sin puts heads to bed like a
mattress
Here we go
While cops bust glocks and call cars; God calls the Amba-ss-adors
2 Corinthians 5:20; we get up (it's a lot of us out here)
[Verse 1]
It's been a while; I've been chillin'out, in and out of basements
You've been patient—waitin' for what's been marinatin'
God's a slow cooker
I know look how I'm stationed
Knee bones are bowed to the throne and now I'm facin'
Raised up stakes and a lot of anticipation
Allow me to shift the weight to the God who can get with Satan
If was a Colt you'd allow me to look to Payton
Well I'm William; now will you allow Will to look to grace and
Trust Christ to be the reason I feed them a true dish
Skills are only equal to probably barley and 2 fish
But Christ is known to whittle your stash
Till it's little and then he multiplies the little you have
Whether you laugh or not I'm a trust in His word
I dare trust the God who cares more for us than the birds
After I drop some'll ask, "What just occurred?"
Ambassador was more than rappin' he was rushin' to serve
[Hook]
Amba-ss-ador
[Verse 2]
Hip hop is more than a music—more than a fad
Like the church is more the pews and more than pastor
It's what the streets asked for when they fell through the cracks
They felt trapped—hip hop gave them a back door
We were sheep—the streets were like pasture
We could feast on a beat—we liked rap more
At the core it's about art like a crafts store
The glory of God is what all of our crafts for
But like any culture without Christ—glass jaw
Easily robbed of its wealth—like cash draws
Now hip hop's in a peculiar position
Sides get divided by it like a tool of division
It can teach but not free you like a school up in prison
It can feed but it's usually junk food in the kitchen
And it's now in a ruler's position
Could go far; but the way things are the fuel's not efficient
[Hook]
[Verse 3]
I seem to love the culture but I hate most of its ways
I'm supposed to if I say I hope souls can be saved
It can make you gravitate to the foul spots
And make it look great to break all of God's "shall nots"
All of your pals flock to the place where the shells drop
They sell rock and make it look like you're on hell's block
Gals shop just make mouths drop
Hard not to watch when you see what these gals rock
And kids are so star struck, forget Harvard
They wanna be on a show that hooks their car up
And you can hang God up
You'll blow the whole mood, they're gonna go "boo"
When His name is brought up
But this is the mission Ambassador's on
This Christian is hip and he's rippin though its hazardous for him
I'm rappin' as long as I can till the chasm is gone
I know a God who'll put a Lazarus on them
[Chorus]
I used to date a girl named, "World."
Sis was real glamorous arrayed up in diamonds and pearls
But now I've got a new best friend
Because the world will leave you dry and watch you die in the end
I used to date a girl named, "World."
Sis was real glamorous arrayed up in diamonds and pearls
She was the baddest, the phattest, she was established
And with her universal status - she had me livin' lavish
She knew about my sinful habits. She used to feed them
She offered me the fruits of lust (and yep) I used to eat them
She took my freedom. Warnings came, I wouldn't heed them
And when I mentioned God she said, "Chill you don't need Him."
I second-guessed this but then she pulled out those dresses, tight
fittin' ones made by Mercedes and Lexus
Her neck just exploded with the fragrance of passion
The aroma of fame, fortune, and fashion
Snatching' my heart she romanced me, my plans be
Lover for life make her, make her my wife, I can't see..
breaking' up like I can't see me in a S girl
This is dedicated to my ex-girl
[Chorus]
The lust of the flesh
you bring your best to the city so Now sex is
pushed through the radio and video
All was chill we'd build and share thrills together
She gave cheddar, we stayed close knit like a sweater
I gave her letters, secular rap format to better
Inform her, "Miss I'm on ya, I'm down forever."
I remarked, "Dear sweetheart let me spark the fire"
"I admire the way you supply a brother's desire"
The lust of the flesh, you bring your best to the city so
Now sex is pushed through the radio and video
Then the lust of the eyes
You make sure guys look good to the girls
and girls show more and more thighs
You're wise, you know the pride of life makes us brag
We're gassed on who we are, what we do and what we have
But tragically thoughts of loneliness be attackin' me
You know how that can be so you offer me crack and weed
Distractin' me from reality with pleasure
Giving me treasure lettin' me indulge without measure
Your hands out you want my soul in it plus the mastery
Then you'll be mine with no limit just like Master P
You captured me, I thought you were all I needed
Until I found a Bible and decided to read it
I never could think that you could have any competition 'til
sweated the Bible's Author and it's Editor
You fretted to hear of the One that I met at the
Appointed time, he kept coming' after me like a creditor
A date, we set it up, and the He showed me His nail prints
Then the eternal scale and your riches started palin'
Now I know why my girl dissed Him
Because the World pissed Him
off and now he hates the whole world system
[Chorus]
In your heart I would hope you'd vote Messiah for President
Cause life's too up and down like a dieters measurement
It's evident the side of God is unattractive
Because the world diamonds and the pearl have got you captured
If their love is greater you can have them
But who died so new lives can come to the son's of Adam
So don't miss the crucial nature of the crucifixion
With diction I'll stress this one
If Jesus Christ wasn't nailed to The Cross Movement
If there was no blood lost we'd have to pay our own cost
Who can pay for their own sins
Next to God grown men become little girls with no ends
Daily my mind gets revamped
And on the Lord there's more concentration than a camp
God stamps His divine approval
On the One who puts God the Son in the forefront on the usual
Fools will bow down to a dead president
And turn around and say there's no God despite the evidence
I recommend we prepare for the reckoning
He didn't have to go out on a limb
