Lying may refer to:
A police officer (also known as a policeman or policewoman, and constable in some forces, particularly in the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth nations) is a warranted employee of a police force. In the United States, "officer" is the formal name of the lowest police rank; in many other countries "officer" is a generic term not specifying a particular rank, and the lowest rank is often "constable". Police officers are generally charged with the apprehension of criminals and the prevention and detection of crime, and the maintenance of public order. Police officers may be sworn to an oath, and have the power to arrest people and detain them for a limited time, along with other duties and powers.
Some police officers may also be trained in special duties, such as counter-terrorism, surveillance, child protection, VIP protection, and investigation techniques into major crime, including fraud, rape, murder and drug trafficking.
Responsibilities of a police officer are varied, and may differ greatly from within one political context to another. Typical duties relate to keeping the peace, law enforcement, protection of people and property, and the investigation of crimes. Officers are expected to respond to a variety of situations that may arise while they are on duty. Rules and guidelines dictate how an officer should behave within the community, and in many contexts restrictions are placed on what the uniformed officer wears. In some countries, rules and procedures dictate that a police officer is obliged to intervene in a criminal incident, even if they are off-duty. Police officers in nearly all countries retain their lawful powers, while off duty.

(Hess/Lesperance)
I'm the king of all pretenders
The end all be all of fakes
I prey on the mindless
And I like it
Your defenses all surrender
My senses all awake
I kill 'em with kindness
And they buy it
Now I'm not one to seek redemption
"The truth will set you free"
Is all a mild deception
And you better believe
That I'm lying
Lying
Lie to everyone everyday
The bitter pill of ages
You swallow everyday
If feels so timeless
Don't fight it
Now I give you inhibitions
Take your innocence away
Without even trying
If I said I believe my eyes
And science can move my soul
If I said I'm not afraid to die
And I don't need you
I'd be lying
If I said the way he looks at me
Doesn't make me want to undress
If I said I could leave you now
And go where I could forget
I'd be lying
I've been lying all my life with silence
And I need to find the words to tell you
If I said I don't want what I don't have
And all the answers are enough
If I said I believe in myself
And that's enough
I'll tell you something
I see you with someone
I don't even know
I caught you lying
Yeah you were lying
Ooh lying
I get the feeling from
the look on your face
When it comes down
you're a disgrace
You should be trying
You're always lying
I caught you lying
All day and
all of the night
I've been wondering why
All of the times
you stayed away
Everyone knew but I
Take your reasons
through the door
Don't come calling anymore
I can't fight you
I can't win
I don't know what
game you're in
You don't even notice
you don't even care
I see you with someone
I don't think that's fair
When I'm walking through
streets at night
Don't know their names
I come back to find you
playing one of your games
Lying
Yeah you were lying
I caught you lying
But baby all day
and all of the night
I've been wondering why
All of the reasons
you gave your word
I know the reason why
Take your reasons
through the door
Don't come calling anymore
I can't fight you
I can't win
I don't know what
game you're in
(instrumental)
Lying
Lying
But baby all day
and all of the night
I've been wondering why
All of the things
you told to me
I know they were a lie
Take your reasons
through the door
Don't come calling anymore
I can't fight you
I can't win
I don't know what
I got this feeling lately
Something's on your mind
Your friends don't like me baby
Wonder what they've said today
You know I love you
What's going on?
Let's move on, don't think about it
Know that they are wrong
You gotta hold on
No matter what they say
If you fail to be strong
They're gonna have it just their way
'Cause my heart ain't lying
No, my heart ain't lying
'Cause my heart ain't lying
Is there something baby?
Can't you give a sign?
This stories they are telling
You know every words are lie
You can believe me
My love is true
Let's move on
Those people only like to see you blue
You gotta hold on
No matter what they say
If you fail to be strong
They're gonna have it just their way
'Cause my heart ain't lying
'Cause my heart ain't lying
No, my heart ain't lying
'Cause my heart ain't lying
I walked out of the house in your
girlfriend's clothes
They fit me better than I would
have supposed
My mind close the curtain
on a lonely repose
And when I walk around town
everybody knows
I'm lying with you
Backsliding with you
Not trying with you
I'm lying with you
Out of the house with hangover shame
Don't punish me for not calling you
Come by the house, I'll be there at eight,
Waiting on the stoop for you
I'm lying with you
Backsliding with you
I'm not trying with you
I'm lying with you
Where are you Ilya?
Where are you Ilya?
Telephone's ringing and I'm at work
Look around to see if anybody heard
When I'm undercover I know it's absurd
But I want it and I can't say no
But I want it and I can't say no
I'm lying with you
Backsliding with you
Not trying with you
I'm lying with you
Where are you?
Where are you?

Theres nobody left to call
Cause there's no one out there
It's hard to believe that no one could see
the writing on the wall.
I woke up again last night. Let the party begin
And we'll live happily ever after
I'm making you wait outside

It's hard to believe that no one could see
the writing on the wall.

Turn the lights on it's over.
The nights just about to explode
i know your lying to me cause your palms start to sweat and your knees are getting heavy, eyes closed your lying to me when your heart starts to race and you feel your getting ready,You're fumbling for the phone on the wall
Theres nobody left to call
Cause there's no one out there
It's hard to believe that no one could see
