Jaya Prada (Telugu: జయప్రద born 3 April 1962) is an Indian film actress and politician. She has starred in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali and Marathi films, Satyajit Ray is said to have described Jaya Prada as the most beautiful face on the Indian screen.

Jaya Prada was born as Lalita Rani on 3 April 1962 in a middle-class family in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India. Her father Krishna Rao was a Telugu film financier. Her mother Neelavani enrolled her in dance and music classes at an early age.

Raj Babbar is a Hindi and Punjabi film actor since 1977 and the current Member of Parliament from Firozabad which he won by defeating Dimple Yadav, wife of Akhilesh Yadav & daughter-in-law of Mulayam Singh Yadav. This is his fourth term as MP, in previous terms he was the part of Samajwadi Party.

Babbar was born in Tundla, Uttar Pradesh on 23 June 1952. He is an alumnus of the 1975 batch of National School of Drama and graduated from Agra College.

He trained in the Method school of acting at NSD, which is involved in Street Theatre. After his training in New Delhi he moved to Mumbai to try his luck. He started his film career opposite Reena Roy, one of the well known actresses of that time.

He also featured in the debut film of the then 13-year-old Padmini Kolhapure. He became a consistent feature of the B. R. Chopra banner; Nikaah with Deepak Parashar and Salma Agha, Aaj Ki Aawaz with Smita Patil, with whom he had an affair and subsequently married, despite being married with two children at the time.

Bappi Lahiri or Alokesh Lahiri (Bengali: বাপ্পী লাহিড়ী), born 27 November 1952, is a music director in the Hindi film industry. He popularized the use of synthesized disco music in Indian cinema and sang some of his own compositions. He was popular in the 1980s with filmi soundtracks like Disco Dancer, Namak Halaal and Sharaabi among others.

Bappi D. Lahiri was born in Calcutta, West Bengal into a family with a rich tradition in classical music. His father, Aparesh Lahiri, was a famous Bengali singer and his mother, Bansari Lahiri, was a musician and a singer who was well-versed in classical music and Shyama Sangeet. He is their only child.

At a very early age, he had the ambition to become internationally famous. He began to play the tabla at the age of three. His maternal relatives include Kishore Kumar and the S. Mukherjee clan. Initially he was trained by his parents, after which he received his first opportunity in a Bengali film, Daadu (1972) at the age of 19.

He moved to Mumbai when he was 19. The first Hindi film for which he composed music was Nanha Shikari (1973). The turning point of his career was Tahir Husain's Hindi film, Zakhmee (1975), for which he composed music and doubled as a playback singer. He sang a duet with Mohammed Rafi and Kishore Kumar called "Nothing Is Impossible" for the same film. The songs of his next film, Chalte Chalte (1976), became hits. With Ravikant Nagaich's Surakksha his singing and music became even more popular.

Shatrughan Sinha (Hindi: शत्रुघ्न सिन) born Shatrughan Prasad Sinha on December 9, 1945 is an Indian film actor and politician. Apart from being member of Rajya Sabha twice he was also Union Cabinet Minister of Health and Family Welfare (Jan 2003-May 2004) and Shipping (Aug. 2004). He was elected to 15th Lok Sabha in 2009.

Sinha was born in Patna, Bihar. He was educated in Patna Science College. He is an alumnus of the Film and Television Institute of India Pune. Currently there's a scholorship being awarded on his name in the institute to Diploma students. He moved to Mumbai where he started his career in the film industry.

Shatrughan Sinha's first acting opportunity was playing a Pakistani military officer in Dev Anand's Prem Pujari. Subsequently, he got a small role as a police inspector in Mohan Sehgal’s Sajan in 1969. The release of Prem Pujari was delayed, so his first released film was Sajan. He played supporting roles in many films before appearing in Gulzar’s Mere Apne in 1971.

He later appeared in Dulal Guha’s Dost in 1974 and in Kalicharan in 1976.

Mithun Chakraborty Miṭhun Chôkroborti, born as Gouranga Chakraborty on June 16, 1950) is an Indian film actor, social activist, and entrepreneur, who has won three National Film Awards. He made his acting debut with the arthouse drama Mrigayaa (1976), for which he won his first National Film Award for Best Actor.

He gained a fan following as a dancing star and went on to establish himself as one of the most popular actors of India, particularly recognized for his role as street dancer Jimmy in the 1982 Bollywood movie Disco Dancer. He also attracted worldwide audiences, particularly in the former Soviet Union where he became a household name for his role in Disco Dancer. He later won two more National Film Awards for his performances in Bengali film Tahader Katha (1992) and Hindi film Swami Vivekananda (1998).

Chakraborty has appeared in about 400 films including Bengali, Oriya and Bhojpuri pictures. He owns the Monarch Group, which has interests in the hospitality sector and educational sector.
