"Holiday Rap" is a 1986 rap song recorded by Dutch band MC Miker G & DJ Sven. Debut single of the duet, it was released in most European countries in 1986 and achieved success, topping the chart in France (it was the first rap number-one hit and the 591st best-selling single of all time in that country), Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands. While a relative failure in the U.S., the single managed to reach the Top 10 in Canada in the spring of 1987.

Musically, the song used a sample from Madonna's 1983 hit "Holiday", with different lyrics and a melodious music. In the lyrics, both singers tell their summer vacations in various towns, such as London and New York. The song also featured the chorus of Cliff Richard's "Summer Holiday".

Following the success of the "Holiday Rap", Russian Sergey Minaev, a pop singer of the mid 1980s, performed his cover called "Dj's Rap (Рэп дискжокея)", which gained in strong popularity troughout the USSR in 1989.

The music video illustrating the song was named by MuchMusic as the worst video of 1987.

MC Miker G & Deejay Sven were a hip hop duo from the Netherlands. The duo consisted of Lucien Witteveen (MC Miker G) and Sven van Veen (Deejay Sven). The 1980s saw the two launch "Holiday Rap", a remixed version, by Ben Liebrand, of Madonna's hit "Holiday" with additional rapping and the chorus of Cliff Richard's "Summer Holiday", to international success.

Witteveen and Van Veen became acquainted in 1986 in a disco in Hilversum. Here the idea for a version of the Madonna hit developed. Their single "Holiday Rap" became an international success, occupying number one on the single charts in 34 countries and reaching the Top Ten in twelve further countries. It was named by MuchMusic as the worst video of 1987.

In Germany the song stayed at the top of the charts for five weeks in August and September. The follow-up single "Celebration Rap" (based on the Kool & the Gang hit "Celebration") did not repeat this success, but still made it into the Top Ten in approximately 30 countries. The two began a large-scale European tour in 1987.
