Clemency means the forgiveness of a crime or the cancellation (in whole or in part) of the penalty associated with it. It is a general concept that encompasses several related procedures: pardoning, commutation, remission and reprieves. A pardon is the forgiveness of a crime and the cancellation of the relevant penalty; it is usually granted by a head of state (such as a monarch or president) or by a competent church authority. Commutation or remission is the lessening of a penalty without forgiveness for the crime; the beneficiary is still considered guilty of the offense. A reprieve is the temporary postponement of punishment.
Today, pardons are granted in many countries when individuals have demonstrated that they have fulfilled their debt to society, or are otherwise considered to be deserving. Pardons are sometimes offered to persons who are wrongfully convicted or claim they have been wrongfully convicted. Some believe accepting such a pardon implicitly constitutes an admission of guilt, so in some cases the offer is refused. Cases of wrongful conviction are nowadays more often dealt with by appeal than by pardon however, a pardon is sometimes offered when innocence is undisputed to avoid the costs of a retrial. Clemency plays a very important role when capital punishment is applied.

Sezen Aksu (Turkish pronunciation: [seˈzen ˈaksu]; born: Fatma Sezen Yıldırım; July 13, 1954 in Denizli) is a Turkish pop music singer, song-writer and producer who sold over 40 million albums worldwide. Her nicknames include the "Queen of Turkish Pop" and Minik Serçe ("Little Sparrow").
Aksu's influence on Turkish pop and world music has continued since her debut in 1975, and has been reinforced by her patronage of and collaboration with many other musicians, including Sertab Erener, Şebnem Ferah, Aşkın Nur Yengi, Hande Yener, and Levent Yüksel. Her work with Tarkan resulted in continental hits like "Şımarık" and "Şıkıdım" and her collaboration with Goran Bregović widened her international audience.
Sezen Aksu was born in Sarayköy, Turkey. Her family moved to İzmir when she was 3 years old and she spent her childhood and early youth there. Aksu's parents discouraged her singing because they wanted her to have a steady profession as a doctor or engineer. She used to wait until they left the house and sing on the family's balcony. After finishing high school, she began studying at the local agricultural institute, but left college to concentrate on music.

Johnny has completed 100 tours, had 18 platinum albums, and sold more than 110 million records. Hallyday's father, Léon Smet (1908–1989), was Belgian, his mother Huguette Clerc (1920–2007) was French. Hallyday took his stage name from his aunt Desta's husband and dance partner Lee Hallyday, a pseudonym for Lee Ketcham, an expatriate Oklahoman, performer and MC at the Cafe de Paris when Johnny began his singing career. Johnny was raised by Desta and Lee from a very young age, with Lee being his first manager.
Pardon
I beg your pardon my dear
Say you forgive me and please
Take me back in your heart
Pardon
Forgive my follishness dear
Here in my arms you belong
For I was wrong right from the start
My own
You are the love of my life
What can I say dear to prove
How much you mean to me
Amore
My love as long as I live
My heart is yours to behold
If you'll only forgive
(My own
You are the love of my life
What can I say dear to prove
How much you mean to me)
Amore
My love as long as I live
My heart is yours to behold
(Intro)
I hear him when he weeps and moans
I've even seen him shed tears
For after taking those wedding vows
That didn't last many years
I've seen him walk the streets alone
In the wind and rain cold and weak
Help the poor man save his heart
Take him in, make him neat
And grant him a pardon
Grant him a pardon from love
The people talk when he passes by
And they don't seem to care
The pain he hides down in his soul
That they don't want to share
If he could turn this world around
He could be like you and me
Help him break these chains of love
Help the man go free
And grant him a pardon
Grant him a pardon
Grant him a pardon from love
(guitar solo)
And grant him a pardon
Grant him a pardon from love
He's guilty of nothing that I can think of, oh no
So let's not convict him
He just happens to be a prisoner of love
So if you're out on that lonely street
And by chance pass him by
Don't rush to judgement or put him down
Cause you could be that guy
Someone could take your heart to school one day
And that would surely change your plans
And all the things you think you know
Now you understand
And grant him a pardon
Grant him a pardon
Grant him a pardon from love
All you got to do is
Grant him a pardon
Grant him a pardon
Grant him a pardon from love
Grant him a pardon, baby
Grant him a pardon from love
Just grant him a pardon
From love
Won't ya
New digs and prospects of a job
New digs and prospects
Have I been half interested ‘till now?
Breath and armpits stink
For Christ’s sake please stay sweet
The ever present threat of hands that want to sweat
My head aches and I ‘m bursting for a piss
Why should I subject myself to this?
Pardon, sort of, oh
Pardon, y’know, oh
Pardon, urm, oh
Pardon, err, oh
My dreams will come true if I make the right impression
Hope it looks okay
I had it done today
Was that me who laughed?
Oh God I feel so daft
Think I’ve got a new one on my nose
Don't I look a lemon in these clothes?
Pardon, sort of, oh
Pardon, y’know, oh
Pardon, urm, oh
Pardon, err, oh
Dear Jesus I doubt it’s up to me
Must not look like a prawn
Dear dandruff do not form
My stomach’s heaving, chaps
Made me a proper prat
My headaches and I need to be excused
Tell the truth you don't seem to amused
Pardon, sort of, oh
Pardon, y’know, oh
Pardon, urm, oh
Pardon, err, oh
Pardon, sort of, oh
Pardon, y’know, oh
Pardon, urm, oh
Pardon, err, oh
Pardon, sort of, oh
Pardon, y’know, oh
Pardon, urm, oh
Pardon
R.Cantoral/P.Delanoe
1.
Ich lebe noch, pardon, will sagen,
bin noch nicht tot,
hab alles, was ich brauch,
pardon und bin in Not.
Ich bin noch frisch, pardon, will sagen,
noch nicht verfault,
hier bin ich gern, pardon, das heißt,
noch nicht vergrault.
2.
Ich fall nicht um, pardon, will sagen,
ich liege schon,
ich mach den Held, pardon, will sagen,
ich bin ein Clown,
ich hab die Macht, pardon, will sagen,
am Leib verspürt,
hab mit Vernunft kein Mensch, pardon,
kein Schwein verführt.
3.
Die Welt ist schön, pardon, will sagen,
ganz schön am Rand,
ich bau auf euch, pardon, will sagen,
ich bau auf Sand,
auf dem Planeten hier, will sagen,
Feuerball
wird großer Friede sein, pardon
erst nach dem Knall.
4.
Ich hab euch lieb, pardon, will sagen,
ich halt euch aus,
mein Heim ist hier, pardon, will sagen,
ich hab'n Haus,
ich sing ganz gern, pardon, will sagen,
sonst müßt ich schrein
ich geh mit euch, pardon, will sagen,
ich bleib allein
P eut-être un jour viendra où tu verras l'enfant
A uréolé de honte, le pardon implorant;
R avissant le divin d'un sourire étoilé
D ont la frêle caresse enchante les amants.
O r l'ondée de joyaux qui suinte des paupières
