WNNE

WNNE is the NBC-affiliated television station for the Upper Valley of East-Central Vermont and West-Central New Hampshire. Licensed to Hartford, Vermont, it broadcasts a high definition digital signal on UHF channel 25 (or virtual channel 31.1 via PSIP) from a transmitter shared with Vermont Public Television outlet WVTA on Mount Ascutney in Windsor, Vermont. The station can also be seen on Comcast channel 13 and in high definition on digital channel 731. Owned by Hearst Television, WNNE has sales and administrative offices in the basement of American Legion Post 26 in White River Junction, Vermont (a village within the town of Hartford).

Overview

Although identifying as a separate station in its own right, this outlet is actually considered a semi-satellite of WPTZ in Plattsburgh, New York. Master control and most internal operations are based at that station's facility on Television Drive in Plattsburgh. WNNE clears all network, syndicated, and local programming as provided by WPTZ but has separate legal on-air identifications and local commercial inserts. It does not maintain a separate web address from its parent outlet but does feature a dedicated section with Upper Valley-specific news headlines and weather forecasts.
