Wasabi (わさび（山葵）^?, originally 和佐比; Wasabia japonica or Eutrema japonica), is a member of the Brassicaceae family, which includes cabbages, horseradish, and mustard. It is also called Japanese horseradish, although it is not actually from the horseradish species of plants. Its root is used as a condiment and has an extremely strong flavor. Its hotness is more akin to that of a hot mustard than that of the capsaicin in a chili pepper, producing vapours that stimulate the nasal passages more than the tongue. The plant grows naturally along stream beds in mountain river valleys in Japan. There are also other species used, such as W. koreana, and W. tetsuigi. The two main cultivars in the marketplace are W. japonica 'Daruma' and 'Mazuma', but there are many others.

Wasabi is generally sold either as a root which is very finely grated before use, or as a ready-to-use paste in tubes similar to travel toothpaste tubes. In restaurants the paste is prepared when the customer orders, and is made using a grater to grate the root; once the paste is prepared, it loses flavor in 15 minutes. In sushi preparation, sushi chefs usually put the wasabi between the fish and the rice because covering wasabi until served preserves its flavor.

Julien Doré (born July 7, 1982) is a French singer, winner of the fifth season of the television show Nouvelle Star, aired on the French Television M6 channel.

He is also the great-great-great-nephew of Gustave Doré, a well-known illustrator of the 19th century.

Doré was born in Alès (Gard, and grew up in Lunel. After taking his baccalauréat littéraire at the college Louis Feuillade, he attended the École des Beaux-Arts of Nîmes for five years. He is the founder of the group Dig up Elvis, with which he played in the bars of Nîmes. At that time, beer was the currency in which he was paid. In 2006, he created with Guillaume de Molina the project "The Jean d'Ormesson disco suicide", "protean group" which covered pop and disco hits. In June 2007, Doré was voted #1 in French Elle Magazine's "15 Sexiest Men" poll. He used to date Louise Bourgoin (ex-TV presenter on Canal+ channel) but they have been separated since March 2009.

Doré was selected at the time of the casting in Marseille, where he presented himself with a ukulele. At the beginning, he only participated in the casting to get free publicity for his band. He convinced the jury when he sang "A la faveur de l'automne" (originally by Tété). His most memorable performances and revelations were while singing "Moi... Lolita" (Alizée) and "...Baby One More Time" (Britney Spears), dance music songs, in acoustics. He won the finale against Tigane.

Micky Green is the professional name of an Australian-born pop singer (born Michaela Gehrmann on 28 June 1984 in Sydney), who presently resides in Paris. Her forebears include Dutch and German lines. She left home at 18 to work in modeling. She still models from time to time while she works on her music.

She played drums in a band at her NSW high-school, Asquith Girls High School, and graduated year 12 in 2001. As a teenager, she was already writing - one of her first songs was about a tissue box. She always keeps a notebook and wrote most of her songs in airports and hotel rooms. Her first demos were recorded on her computer. To beat time, she used the sound of a pen on the table, a box, or her leg. She released her first album White T-Shirt in 2007, with the help of producer Renaud Letang. Her music could be described as colorful, rhythmic and vocal pop.

She has a pet Labrador named Roxy.

Oh! is used in the V Australia series of television advertising, and also in an ad for Reese's Peanut Butter Cups in the U.S.
