Seether are a South African hard rock band founded in May 1999 in Pretoria, South Africa. The band originally performed under the name Saron Gas until 2002, when they adopted the Seether name. Disclaimer is their original album and major label debut. They gained mainstream popularity in 2002 with their US Active Rock #1 single "Fine Again," and their success was sustained in 2004 with the single "Broken" which peaked at No. 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. They have experienced continued success with #1 hits on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart such as "Remedy", "Fake It", "Country Song" and "Words as Weapons".
The band formed in 1999 under the name Saron Gas. In 2000, the band released an independent album called Fragile under their original name.
Saron Gas had their origins in Johannesburg, a city of South Africa, and the earliest days of the group saw their public appearances at parties, nightclubs, small-scale concerts and University venues, such as the University of Cape Town and the University of Stellenbosch, where they played for the lunch-time crowds in the Neelsie centre on the latter campus as late as the summer of 2001.

"And I" is a song written by American R&B singer Ciara, and produced by Adonis Shropshire for Ciara's first album, Goodies (2004). It was released as the album's fourth and final single on August 30, 2005 (see 2005 in music) in North America.
The song was originally the third choice for the fourth single. Ciara has mentioned in an interview that "Thug Style", "Hotline" or "Pick up the Phone" would be the fourth single, but when Ciara suggested "And I" to executives at her previous record label LaFace, they were unhappy because they wanted "Next to You" to be the fourth single.
At the time of the U.S. release of "And I", Ciara's collaboration with Bow Wow, "Like You", and her collaboration with Missy Elliott, "Lose Control", were at the height of their popularity. "And I" peaked at 96 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and 27 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, which were poor positions compared to those attained by the first three singles from the album Goodies. It was not released outside North America because of this, and it is Ciara's least successful single.
Gas is one of the four fundamental states of matter (the others being solid, liquid, and plasma). A pure gas may be made up of individual atoms (e.g. a noble gas like neon), elemental molecules made from one type of atom (e.g. oxygen), or compound molecules made from a variety of atoms (e.g. carbon dioxide). A gas mixture would contain a variety of pure gases much like the air. What distinguishes a gas from liquids and solids is the vast separation of the individual gas particles. This separation usually makes a colorless gas invisible to the human observer. The interaction of gas particles in the presence of electric and gravitational fields are considered negligible as indicated by the constant velocity vectors in the image. One type of commonly known gas is steam.
The gaseous state of matter is found between the liquid and plasma states, the latter of which provides the upper temperature boundary for gases. Bounding the lower end of the temperature scale lie degenerative quantum gases which are gaining increasing attention. High-density atomic gases super cooled to incredibly low temperatures are classified by their statistical behavior as either a Bose gas or a Fermi gas. For a comprehensive listing of these exotic states of matter see list of states of matter.
The 4th track from Fragile the first album by Seether from when they were Saron Gas released in 2000. Lyrics: It seems like every day's the same and I'm left to discover on my own It seems like everything is gray and there's no color to behold They say it's over and I'm fine again, yeah Try to stay sober feels like I'm dying here And I am aware now of how everything's gonna be fine one day Too late, I'm in hell I am prepared now, seems everyone's gonna be fine One day too late, just as well I feel the dream in me expire and there's no one left to blame it on I hear you label me a liar 'cause I can't seem to get this through You say it's over, I can sigh again, yeah Why try to stay sober when I'm dying here And I am aware now of how everything's gonna be fine one day ...
Beer Artist: Saron Gas Album: Fragile Lyrics wish you were a beer, Then I could drink you up. I wish you were not here, With my cum in your mouth. I wish you weren't so queer, Your chains still lock me up. Since when were you our Lord? We're all so very bored. Since when were you our Lord? We're all so very bored. I wish you were a beer, The thirsty water drink. You wish I wasn't here, You're scared because I think. You wish I wasn't here, Cuz I'm your missing link. Since when were you our Lord? We're all so very bored. Since when were you our Lord? We're all so very bored. I wish you were a beer, Then I could drink you up. You wish I wasn't here, Cuz I can beat you up. Dazed And Abused Artist: Saron Gas Album: Fragile Lyrics Amuse myself with pots of paint Producing demons within us Pointless trials but don't be late 'Cause someone's always pissed off. Take Me Away Artist: Saron Gas Album: Fragile Lyrics As beautiful as fire, Against the evening sky. You fuel the lost desire, I no longer wanna die. Take me by the hand, And see beyond the lies. Strip away the fences, Leave me needing, leave me high. I know, You're so, So low, But I can't. Take me away, yeah, Take me away, yeah, Take me away, yeah, Cuz I don't wanna lose control. Take me away, yeah, Take me away, yeah, Take me away, yeah, Cuz I don't wanna lose it all. Relieved of all the pain, You let me see again. Delievered from my shame now, And I am lost for what to say. Cleansed, and pure, and weak, I suffer when I dream. I need to find a purpose, I need to feel you needing me. I know, You're so, So low, But I can't. Take me a...

As Saron Gas, the band released its first album, Fragile on Musketeer Records, in 2000 in South Africa. Upon achieving success on the South African music charts, Wind-up Records took an interest in Saron Gas' melodic-yet-heavy sound and signed them to the label. The band was asked to change their name due to Saron Gas being a homophone of sarin gas, a deadly nerve agent discovered (but never used in war) by Nazi Germany during World War II. The band changed its name to Seether in honor of Veruca Salt's song titled, "Seether".
Biography Seether is a post-grunge/alternative metal band which formed in Pretoria, South Africa in 1999.
